1Generation of ready to use (RTU) products over China based on Landsat series data显示文摘Earth observation community has entered into the era of big data.Family of Landsat sensors have collected massive medium resolution satellite images,which are valuable for long-term land surface monitoring.In order to significantly reduce the magnitude of data processing for remote sensing data users,Landsat-based Ready to Use(RTU)products have been produced.Main RTU products,including orthorectified products,land surface reflectance,land surface temperature,large-area mosaic image,and standard image map products,are described.The resulting Landsat RTU products are hosted on the RSGS earth observation data sharing web site for free download(http://gffzz959b1a8e74bf485dh60okvk9pop5k6bwc.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/rtu/).These new products will provide consistent,standardized,multi-decadal image data for robust land cover change detection and monitoring across the Earth sciences.In the coming years,CASEarth DataBank system will be constructed,which is an intelligent data service platform for providing not only the RTU products from multi-source satellite data,but also big earth data analysis methods.Guojin He Zhaoming Zhang Weili Jiao Tengfei Long Yan Peng Guizhou Wang Ranyu Yin Wei Wang Xiaomei Zhang Huichan Liu Bo Cheng Bo Xiang 2018Big Earth Data2018,2,1:8
2Seasonal variation of water transport through the Karimata Strait显示文摘Four trawl-resistant bottom mounts, with acoustic Doppler current profilers(ADCPs) embedded, were deployed in the Karimata Strait from November 2008 to June 2015 as part of the South China Sea-Indonesian Seas Transport/Exchange and Impact on Seasonal Fish Migration(SITE) Program, to estimate the volume and property transport between the South China Sea and Indonesian seas via the strait. The observed current data reveal that the volume transport through the Karimata Strait exhibits significant seasonal variation. The winteraveraged(from December to February) transport is –1.99 Sv(1 Sv=1×10~6 m^3/s), while in the boreal summer(from June to August), the average transport is 0.69 Sv. Moreover, the average transport from January 2009 to December2014 is –0.74 Sv(the positive/negative value indicates northward/southward transport). May and September are the transition period. In May, the currents in the Karimata Strait turn northward, consistent with the local monsoon. 5Promoting electrochemical conversion of CO2 to formate with rich oxygen vacancies in nanoporous tin oxides显示文摘Defect engineering,especially oxygen vacancies(O-vacancies) introduction into metal oxide materials has been proved to be an effective strategy to manipulate their surface electron exchange processes.However,quantitative investigation of O-vacancies on CO2 electroreduction still remains rather ambiguous.Herein,a series of nanoporous tin oxide(SnOx) materials have been prepared by thermal treatment at various temperatures and reaction conditions.The annealing temperature dependent Ovacancies property of the SnOx was revealed and attributed to the balance tunning of the desorption of oxygen species and the continous oxidation of SnOx.The as-prepared nanoporous SnOx with 300℃treatment was found to be highest O-vacant material and showed an impressive CO2 RR activity and selectivity towards the conversion of CO2 into formic acid(up to 88.6%),and superior HCOOH incomplete current density to other samples.The ideal performance of the O-vacancies rich SnOx-300 material can be ascribed to the high delocalized electron density inducing much enhanced adsorption of CO2 with O binding and benefiting the subsequent reduction with high selectively forming of formic acid.Tengfei Gao Anuj Kumar Zhicheng Shang Xinxuan Duan Hangchao Wang Shiyuan Wang Shengfu Ji Dongpeng Yan Liang Luo Wen Liu Xiaoming Sun 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:2

10Urban Geospatial Information Acquisition Mobile Mapping System based on close-range photogrammetry and IGS site calibration显示文摘The measurement accuracy of the Mobile Mapping System (MMS) is the main problem, which restricts its development and application, so how to calibrate the MMS to improve its measure-ment accuracy has always been a research hotspot in the industry. This paper proposes a position and attitude calibration method with error correction based on the combination of the feature point and feature surface. First, the initial value of the spatial position relation-ship between each sensor of MMS is obtained by close-range photogrammetry. Second, the optimal solution for error correction is calculated by feature points in global coordinates jointly measured with International GNSS Service (IGS) stations. Then, the final transformation para-meters are solved by combining the initial values obtained originally, thereby realizing the rapid calibration of the MMS. Finally, it analyzed the RMSE of MMS point cloud after calibration, and the results demonstrate the feasibility of the calibration approach proposed by this method. Under the condition of a single measurement sensor accuracy is low, the plane and elevation absolute accuracy of the point cloud after calibration can reach 0.043 m and 0.072 m, respectively, and the relative accuracy is smaller than 0.02 m. It meets the precision require-ments of data acquisition for MMS. 13Comparison of three data mining methods in predicting 5-year survival of colorectal cancer patients显示文摘The prediction of colorectal cancer(CRC) survivability has always been a challenging research issue. Considering the importance of predicting CRC patients' survival rates, we compared the performance of three data mining methods: decision trees(DTs), artificial neural networks(ANNs) and support vector machines(SVMs), for predicting 5-year survival of CRC patients to assist clinicians in making treatment decisions. The CRC dataset used to build the prediction model comes from the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results(SEER) program. The 5-fold cross-validation and random forest algorithm were respectively utilized for measuring the model predictive accuracy and the importance of features. Experimental results show that the predictive accuracy of ANNs(0.73) and SVMs(0.75) were higher than that of DTs, and they also have the best result in the area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve(area under curve(AUC)=0.82). 14Ion transporters: emerging agents for anticancer therapy显示文摘Natural ion channels are pore-forming proteins that allow ions to pass through biomembranes, playing pivotal roles in almost all facets of cellular physiological functions. Biomimetic ion transporters were initially investigated for the purpose of treating lifethreatening channelopathies. Recent studies have indicated that membrane-active synthetic ionophores possess desirable anticancer bioactivity against diverse cancer cell lines by disturbing intracellular ion homeostasis, triggering oxidative stress, and inducing apoptosis in tumors. Recent progress on ionophore-related antitumor therapeutics is comprehensively summarized in this review, including the molecular design principles, functional mechanisms, and characterization methods. Finally, we conclude this review by discussing the future opportunities and challenges in this field. 15Genome degradation promotes Salmonella pathoadaptation by remodeling fimbriae-mediated proinflammatory response显示文摘Understanding changes in pathogen behavior(e.g.increased virulence,a shift in transmission channel)is critical for the public health management of emerging infectious diseases.Genome degradation via gene depletion or inactivation is recognized as a pathoadaptive feature of the pathogen evolving with the host.However,little is known about the exact role of genome degradation in affecting pathogenic behavior,and the underlying molecular detail has yet to be examined.Using large-scale global avian-restricted Salmonella genomes spanning more than a century,we projected the genetic diversity of Salmonella Pullorum(bvSP)by showing increasingly antimicrobial-resistant ST92 prevalent in Chinese flocks.The phylogenomic analysis identified three lineages in bvSP,with an enhancement of virulence in the two recently emerged lineages(L2/L3),as evidenced in chicken and embryo infection assays.Notably,the ancestor L1 lineage resembles the Salmonella serovars with higher metabolic flexibilities and more robust environmental tolerance,indicating stepwise evolutionary trajectories towards avian-restricted lineages.Pan-genome analysis pinpointed fimbrial degradation from a virulent lineage.The later engineeredfim-deletion mutant,and all other five fimbrial systems,revealed behavior switching that restricted horizontal fecal-oral transmission but boosted virulence in chicks.By depleting fimbrial appendages,bvSP established persistent replication with less proinflammation in chick macrophages and adopted vertical transovarial transmission,accompanied by ever-increasing intensification in the poultry industry.Together,we uncovered a previously unseen paradigm for remodeling bacterial surface appendages that supplements virulence-enhanced evolution with increased vertical transmission.Xiao Zhou Xiamei Kang Jiaqi Chen Yan Song Chenghao Jia Lin Teng Yanting Tang Zhijie Jiang Xianqi Peng Xiaoxi Tao Yiwei Xu Linlin Huang Xuebin Xu Yaohui Xu Tengfei Zhang Shenye Yu Jiansen Gong Shaohui Wang Yuqing Liu Guoqiang Zhu Corinna Kehrenberg Franois-Xavier Weill Paul Barrow Yan Li Guoping Zhao Min Yue 2023National Science Review2023,10,10:0
16Self-assembled Supramolecular Artificial Transmembrane Ion Channels:Recent Progress and Application显示文摘Natural protein channels have evolved with fantastic spatial structures,which play pivotal physiological functions in all living systems.Learning from nature,chemical scientists have developed a myriad of artificial transmembrane ion channels by using various chemical strategies,among which the non-covalent supramolecular ion channels exhibit remarkable advantages over other forms(e.g.,single-molecule ion channel),which exhibited facile preparation methods,easier structural modification and functionalization.In this review,we have systematically summarized the recent progress of supramolecular self-assembled artificial transmembrane ion channels,which were classified by different self-assembly mechanisms,such as hydrogen bonds,π-πinteractions,etc.Detailed preparation process and self-assembly strategies of the supramolecular ion channels have been described.Moreover,potential biomedical applications of the supramolecular ion channels have also been carefully discussed in this review.Finally,future opportunities and challenges facing this field were also elaborately discussed.It is anticipated that this review could provide a panoramic sketch and future directions towards the construction of novel artificial ion channels with novel functions and biomedical applications.LUO Yichen ZHU Canhong ZHANG Tianlong YAN Tengfei LIU Junqiu 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,1:0
17Catalytic ozonation in advanced treatment of kitchen wastewater:multi-scale simulation and pilot-scale study显示文摘Catalytic ozonation is regarded as a promising technology in the advanced treatment of refractory organic wastewater.Packed-bed reactors are widely used in practical applications due to simple structures,installation and operation.However,mass transfer of packed-bed reactors is relatively restrained and amplified deviations usually occurred in scale-up application.Herein,a multi-scale packed-bed model of catalytic ozonation was established to guide pilot tests.First,a laboratory-scale test was conducted to obtain kinetic parameters needed for modeling.Then,a multi-scale packed-bed model was developed to research the effects of water distribution structure,catalyst particle size,and hydraulic retention time(HRT)on catalytic ozonation.It was found that the performance of packed bed reactor was increased with evenly distributed water inlet,HRT of 60 min,and catalyst diameter of about 3-7 mm.Last,an optimized reactor was manufactured and a pilot-scale test was conducted to treat kitchen wastewater using catalytic ozonation process.In the pilot-scale test with an ozone dosage of 50 mg/L and HRT of 60 min,the packed-bed reactor filled with catalysts I was able to reduce chemical oxygen demand(COD)from 117 to 59 mg/L.The performance of the catalytic ozonation process in the packed-bed reactor for the advanced treatment of actual kitchen wastewater was investigated via both multi-scale simulation and pilot-scale tests in this study,which provided a practical method for optimizing the reactors of treating refractory organic wastewater.Zuoyong Zhou Ni Yan Mengxi Yin Tengfei Ren Shuning Chen Kechao Lu Xiaoxin Cao Xia Huang Xiaoyuan Zhang 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,12:0
18Illumining phase transformation dynamics of vanadium oxide cathode by multimodal techniques under operando conditions显示文摘Subtle structural changes during electrochemical processes often relate to the degradation of electrode materials.Characterizing the minute-variations in complementary aspects such as crystal structure,chemical bonds,and electron/ion conductivity will give an in-depth understanding on the reaction mechanism of electrode materials,as well as revealing pathways for optimization.Here,vanadium pentoxide (V2O5),a typical cathode material suffering from severe capacity decay during cycling,is characterized by in-situ X-ray diffraction (XRD) and in-situ Raman spectroscopy combined with electrochemical tests.The phase transitions of V2O5 within the 0-1 LiN ratio are characterized in detail.The V--O and V-V distances became more extended and shrank compared to the original ones after charge/discharge process,respectively.Combined with electrochemical tests,these variations are vital to the crystal structure cracking,which is linked with capacity fading.This work demonstrates that chemical bond changes between the transition metal and oxygen upon cycling serve as the origin of the capacity fading.Guobin Zhang Tengfei Xiong Xuelei Pan Yunlong Zhao Mengyu Yan Haining Zhang Buke Wu Kangning Zhao Liqiang Mai 2019Nano Research2019,12,4:0
19Forest status assessment in China with SDG indicators based on high-resolution satellite data显示文摘To assess the status and change trend of forest in China,an indicator framework was developed using SDG sub-indicators.In this paper,we propose an improved methodology and a set of workflows for calculating SDG indicators.The main modification include the use of moderate and high spatial resolution satellite data,as well as state-of-the-art machine learning techniques for forest cover classification and estimation of forest above-ground biomass(AGB).This research employs GF-1 and GF-2 data with enhanced texture information to map forest cover,while time series Landsat data is used to estimate forest AGB across the whole territory of China.The study calculate two SDG sub-indicators:SDG_(15.1.1) for forest area and SDG_(15.2.1) for sustainable forest management.The evaluation results showed that the total forest area in China was approximately 219 million hectares at the end of 2021,accounting for about 23.51%of the land area.The average annual forest AGB from 2015 to 2021 was estimated to be 105.01Mg/ha,and the overall trend of forest AGB change in China was positive,albeit with some spatial differences.Xiaomei Zhang Guojin He Shijie Yan Tengfei Long Xueli Peng Zhaoming Zhang Guizhou Wang 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
