11,25-(OH)2D3 protects pancreatic beta cells against H2O2-induced apoptosis through inhibiting the PERK-ATF4-CHOP pathway显示文摘Endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress plays a critical role in pancreaticβcell destruction which leads to the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM).Vitamin D(VD)has been reported to reduce the risk of T1DM;however,it remains unknown whether VD affects ER stress in pancreaticβcells.In this study,we investigated the role of the active form of VD,1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3[1,25-(OH)2D3],in ER stress-inducedβcell apoptosis and explored its potential mechanism in mouse insulinoma cell line mouse insulinoma 6(MIN6).The results of cell counting kit-8(CCK8)and flow cytometric analyses showed that 1,25-(OH)2D3 caused a significant increase in the viability of MIN6 cells injured by H2O2.The protein kinase like ER kinase(PERK)signal pathway,one of the most conserved branches of ER stress,was found to be involved in this process.H2O2 activated the phosphorylation of PERK,upregulated the activating transcription factor 4(ATF4)and C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP)expression,and subsequently initiated cell apoptosis,which were significantly reversed by 1,25-(OH)2D3 pretreatment.In addition,GSK2606414,a specific inhibitor of PERK,suppressed PERK phosphorylation and reduced the expressions of ATF4 and CHOP,leading to a significant decrease inβcell apoptosis induced by H2O2.Taken together,the present findings firstly demonstrated that 1,25-(OH)2D3 could prevent MIN6 cells against ER stress-associated apoptosis by inhibiting the PERK-ATF4-CHOP pathway.Therefore,our results suggested that 1,25-(OH)2D3 might serve as a potential therapeutic target for preventing pancreaticβcell destruction in T1DM.Xiaobo Hu Cong Hu Jun Liu Zhuan Wu Tingting Duan Zhaohui Cao 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,1:3

3Biomass chemical looping gasification for syngas production using modified hematite as oxygen carriers显示文摘Syngas is a clean energy carrier and a major industrial feedstock. In this paper, syngas was produced via biomass chemical looping gasification(CLG) process. Hematite, the most common Fe-based oxygen carrier(OC), was modified with different metal oxides(CeO_(2), CaO and MgO) by the impregnation method. The hematite modified by CeO_(2), CaO and MgO was namely as CeO_(2)-hematite(CeO_(2)-H), CaO-hematite(CaO-H) and MgO-hematite(MgO-H), respectively. The introduction of CeO_(2), CaO and MgO enhanced the reactivity of lattice oxygen of hematite. The optimum condition for syngas production had been explored as the mass ratio of oxygen carrier to biomass(O/B) of 0.2, the mass ratio of steam to biomass(S/B) of0.75 and temperature of 800℃in the biomass CLG process. The CeO_(2)-H exhibited the most wonderful performance compared to that for CaO-H and MgO-H. The crystal composition of OC influenced greatly in the CLG process. CeFeO_(3)had a good oxygen mobility property and lattice oxygen releasing capacity due to the most oxygen vacancy distributed on the OC surface and the most active lattice oxygen, which is conducive to the biomass chemical looping gasification process for syngas production, leading to the highest gasification efficiency of 95.86% and gas yield of 1.20 m^(3)/kg of the three. 6The Formation and Evolution of Uvarovite in UHP Serpentinite and Rodingite and its Constraints on Chromium Mobility in the Oceanic Subduction Zone显示文摘The uvarovite-andradite and uvarovite-andradite-grossular solid-solution series are rare in nature.The discovery of uvarovite-andradite in serpentinite and rodingite from the ultra-high pressure(UHP)metamorphic belt in southwestern Tianshan provided an opportunity to investigate its behavior in the subduction zone.Uvarovite(defined as chromiumgarnet)from serpentinite is homogeneous in a single grain,covering compositions in the uvarovite-andradite solid solution series of Adr_(58-66)Uv_(33-41),with few grossular components.Uvarovite from rodingites contain various Cr_(2)O_(3) contents(1.7-17.9 wt%)and mineral compositions being in the range of Adr_(21-31)Uv_(41-50)Grs_(22-37),Adr_(52-90)Uv_(5-25)Grs_(0-21) and Adr_(19-67)Uv_(3-63)Grs_(13-42).Discontinuous chemical variation of uvarovite from core to rim indicates that uvarovite formed by consuming andradite and chromite,which could provide Ca,Cr,Al and Fe.Raman signals of water were identified for uvarovite from both serpentinite and rodingite,with high water content in uvarovite from serpentinite.The high pressure mineral assemblage,as well as the association with perovskite,indicated that the studied uvarovite from serpentinite and rodingite was formed through high pressure metamorphism,during the subduction zone serpentinization and rodingitization.High alkaline and highly reduced fluids released from serpentinization or rodingitization in the oceanic subduction zone promote the mobility of chromium and enable its long-distance migration.ZHANG Cong SHEN Tingting ZHANG Lifei LIN Congcong ZHANG Zhongwei Qin Xueqing HU Han QIU Tian XIANG Zhenqun ZHANG Jianxin 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,5:1
7Metamorphism and Oceanic Crust Exhumation——Constrained by the Jilang Eclogite and Meta-Quartzite from the Sumdo (U) HP Metamorphic Belt显示文摘The Sumdo eclogite-bearing (U)HP metamorphic belt extends over 100 km across the middle part of the Lhasa terrane in southern Tibet, which forms a Permian-Triassic oceanic subduction zone between the south and the north Lhasa sub-terranes, leading to the reinterpretation of the tectonic evolution of the Lhasa terrane in the Tibetan-Himalayan orogeny. Previous studies show that there are significant differences in temperature and pressure conditions of the eclogites in four areas, e.g., Sumdo, Xindaduo, Bailang and Jilang areas. Studying the peak metamorphic P-T conditions and path of eclogite in the Sumdo belt is of great significance to reveal the subduction and exhumation mechanism of Paleo-Tethys Ocean in the Lhasa terrane. In this contribution, eclogite in the Jilang area of the Sumdo belt is chosen as an example to study its metamorphic evolution. The mineral assemblage of the eclogite is garnet, omphacite, phengite, hornblende, epidote, quartz and minor biotite. Garnet has a “dirty' core with abundant inclusions such as epidote, amphibole, plagioclase and a “clear' rim with few inclusions of omphacite and phengite.From the core to the rim, pyrope content in garnet increases while grossular content decreases, showing typical growth zoning. The rim of garnet is wrapped by the pargasite+plagioclase corona, showing amphibolite facies overprint during retrogression. Three stages of metamorphism are inferred as (1) prograde stage, represented by the core of garnet and mineral inclusions therein;(2) peak stage, represented by the garnet rim, omphacite, lawsonite, phengite, and quartz;(3) retrograde stage characterized by decomposition of lawsonite to zoisite, followed by symplectite of omphacite and corona rimmed garnet. A P-T pseudosection contoured with isopleths of grossular and pyrope contents in garnet is used to constrain the near peak P-T condition at 2.85 GPa, 575 °C. In general, the Jilang eclogite shows a clockwise P-T path with a near isothermal decompression process during exhumation. Combined with the age peaks of 583, 911, and 1 134 Ma from the detrital zircons of the country metaquartzite, a continental margin material involving exhumation process at shallow depth after the subduction channel exhumation is inferred for the Jilang eclogite and may further indicate that the subduction direction of the Sumdo eclogite belt is from north to south.Yang Li Cong Zhang Xiaoyu Liu Tingting Shen Tian Qiu Jingsui Yang 2019Journal of Earth Science2019,30,3:1
8Change of retinal nerve fiber layer thickness in patients with nonarteritic inflammatory anterior ischemic optic neuropathy显示文摘In this study, 16 patients (19 eyes) with nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy in the acute stage (within 4 weeks) and resolving stage (after 12 weeks) were diagnosed by a series of complete ophthalmic examinations, including fundus examination, optical coherence tomography and fluorescein fundus angiography, and visual field defects were measured with standard automated perimetry. The contralateral uninvolved eyes were used as controls. The retinal nerve fiber layer thickness was determined by optical coherence tomography which showed that the mean retinal nerve fiber layer thickness and the retinal nerve fiber layer thickness from temporal, superior, nasal and inferior quadrants were significantly higher for all measurements in the acute stage than the corresponding normal values. In comparison, the retinal nerve fiber layer thickness from each optic disc quadrant was found to be significantly lower when measured at the resolving stages, than in the control group. Statistical analysis on the correlation between optic disc nerve fiber layer thickness and visual defects demonstrated a positive correlation in the acute stage and a negative correlation in the resolving stage. 9Petrology and PGE Abundances of High-Cr and High-Al Podiform Chromitites and Peridotites from the Bulqiza Ultramafic Massif, Eastern Mirdita Ophiolite, Albania显示文摘The Bulqiza ultramafic massif, which is part of the eastern Mirdita ophiolite of northern Albania, is world renowned for its high-Cr chromitite deposits. High-Cr chromitites hosted in the mantle section are the crystallized products of boninitic melts in a supra-subduction zone(SSZ). However,economically important high-Al chromitites are also present in massive dunite of the mantle-crust transition zone(MTZ). Chromian-spinel in the high-Al chromitites and dunites of the MTZ have much lower Cr~# values(100 Cr/(Cr+Al))(47.7-55.1 and 46.5-51.7, respectively) than those in the high-Cr chromitites(78.2-80.4), harzburgites(72.6-77.9) and mantle dunites(79.4-84.3). The chemical differences in these two types of chromitites are reflected in the behaviors of their platinum-group elements(PGE).The high-Cr chromitites are rich in IPGE relative to PPGE with 0.10-0.45 PPGE/IPGE ratios, whereas the high-Al chromitites have relatively higher PPGE/IPGE ratios between 1.20 and 7.80. The calculated melts in equilibrium with the high-Cr chromitites are boninitic-like, and those associated with the high-Al chromitites are MORB-like but with hydrous, oxidized and TiO_2-poor features. 10护士关于早产儿疼痛的护理体验:质性研究系统综述显示文摘目的通过系统文献综述整合与揭示护士在护理早产儿疼痛过程中的体验。方法研究检索了近10年发表的文献,检索数据库包括:PubMed,CINAHL,PsycINFO,Scopus,BIOSIS和ProQuest Dissertation and Theses Database。纳入标准:对重症监护室护理早产儿护士的质性研究。排除标准:非英文文献,文献不包括质性研究数据或质性数据无法从文章中提取,以及文章不包含护士体验的内容。文献质量评价采用英国牛津循证医学中心文献评价项目方案(Critical Appraisal Skills Programme,CASP)。结果经过比较纳入和排除标准,研究者最终筛选出8篇文献,共包括205名护士,分别来自伊朗、加拿大、美国、芬兰、瑞典、瑞士和澳大利亚。共归纳出5个关于早产儿疼痛护理体验的主题:1)护士可以觉察早产儿疼痛;2)早产儿疼痛未缓解导致的不良后果;3)疼痛管理的障碍;4)对现有疼痛管理方式的担忧;5)与家长合作困难。结论这篇质性研究系统综述揭示了护士对早产儿疼痛未缓解会导致新生儿发育障碍的理解。改善工作环境、降低工作负荷,研制适应不同年龄组的疼痛评估和干预方法,为护士提供有效的情感支持和培训,建立与家长的良好合作关系,均为重症监护室护士为早产儿疼痛提供更好护理的迫切需要。Tingting Zhao Angela R.Starkweather Adam Matson Shabnam Lainwala Wanli Xu Xiaomei Cong 2022International Journal of Nursing Sciences2022,9,4:1
11GSDME maintains hematopoietic stem cells by balancing pyroptosis and apoptosis显示文摘GSDME contains a pore-forming domain at its N-terminal region to execute pyroptosis.Our previous study has reported that forced expression of Gsdme impairs the reconstitution capacity of hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs).While,how GSDME-mediated pyroptosis regulates HSCs remains unknown.Here,we show that hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells are capable to undergo pyroptosis in response to cisplatin treatment and GSDME is one of the genes mediating such process.Gsdme^(-/-)mice revealed no difference in the steady state of blood system while Gsdme^(-/-)HSCs exhibited compromised reconstitution capacity due to increased apoptosis.Briefly,this study reveals that GSDME modulates HSC function by coordinating pyroptosis and apoptosis.Xiuxiu Yang Tingting Cong Hanqing He Jianwei Wang 2021Blood Science2021,3,2:0
12Distribution characteristics of indoor oxygen concentration under natural ventilation in oxygen-enriched buildings at high altitudes显示文摘Diffuse oxygen supply is an important means to improve the indoor oxygen environment of buildings and ensure physiological and psychological health of immigrants in plateau areas.Existing research on oxygen enrichment strategies at high altitudes has mainly focused on confined spaces under mechanical ventilation,with few studies on the distribution of indoor oxygen concentration under natural ventilation in actual buildings.This study used a verified computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method to investigate the indoor oxygen distribution with practical consideration of natural ventilation at high altitudes.The results showed that the oxygen distribution under wind-driven natural ventilation was more nonuniform than that under buoyancy-driven natural ventilation,with the ratio of local oxygen concentration to overall-mean oxygen concentration,the k value,between 0.8 and 1.3 under wind-driven natural ventilation and between 0.9 and 1.1 under buoyancy-driven natural ventilation.The effects of meteorological condition and oxygen source position on indoor spatial oxygen distribution characteristics were explored with careful examination in human occupied zone under lying,sitting and standing postures.The results can provide implications for effective and energy saving design of indoor oxygen supply system in plateau buildings.Cong Song Tingting Zhao Yanfeng Liu Dengjia Wang 2021Building Simulation2021,14,6:0

14The Metamorphic Evolution and Tectonic Significance of the Sumdo High and Ultrahigh Pressure Metamorphic Terrane, Central-South Lhasa Block, Tibet显示文摘Asthemaintectoniccomponentofthe Himalayan–Tibetan orogen,the Lhasa terrane has received much attention as it records the entire history of the orogeny.The occurrence of high pressure eclogite in the Sumdo complex in central Lhasa terrane has a significant importance on the understanding of the Paleo-Tethys subduction and plate itineration processes in this area.The petrological,geochemical and geochronological data of eclogite and associated blueschist and garnet-bearing mica schist from Sumdo,Jilang and Bailang area have been briefly reviewed to explore the origin and metamorphic evolution of this suture.Eclogites from the Sumdo complex have experienced low temperature,high pressure to ultrahigh pressure metamorphism,revealing a fastsubduction and exhumation process in a typical oceanic subduction zone.The large P-T range between different eclogites in the literature may be affected by the big error of unappropriated using geothermobarometry and may also because of slices of subducted blocks derived from different depths juxtapose together during exhumation.By summarizing the U-Pb,Lu-Hf and Sm-Nd ages of eclogites,the eclogite facies metamorphism is likely to occur in early Triassic during 245-225 Ma,but not the previously accepted late Permian at ca.260 Ma by the reinterpretation of the former geochronological data from literature.The opening of Paleo-Tethys Ocean between the Lhasa terrane initiate prior to ca.280 Ma and ultimate closure to integrate the Lhasa terrane was no earlier than225 Ma and may triggered by the initial subduction of Bangong-Nujiang Tethys Ocean in the north.ZHANG Cong Thomas BADER Herman van ROERMUND YANG Jingsui SHEN Tingting QIU Tian LI Peng 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,S1:0

17GIPC1 promotes tumor growth and migration in gastric cancer via activating PDGFR/PI3K/AKT signaling显示文摘The high mortality rate associated with gastric cancer(GC)has resulted in an urgent need to identify novel therapeutic targets for GC.This study aimed to investigate whether GAIP interacting protein,C terminus 1(GIPC1)represents a therapeutic target and its regulating mechanism in GC.GIPC1 expression was elevated in GC tissues,liver metastasis tissues,and lymph node metastases.GIPC1 knockdown or GIPC1 blocking peptide blocked the platelet-derived growth factor receptor(PDGFR)/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway,and inhibited the proliferation and migration of GC cells.Conversely,GIPC1 overexpression markedly activated the PDGFR/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway,and promoted GC cell proliferation and migration.Furthermore,platelet-derived growth factor subunit BB(PDGF-BB)cytokines and the AKT inhibitor attenuated the effect of differential GIPC1 expression.Moreover,GIPC1 silencing decreased tumor growth and migration in BALB/c nude mice,while GIPC1 overexpression had contrasting effects.Taken together,our findings suggest that GIPC1 functions as an oncogene in GC and plays a central role in regulating cell proliferation and migration via the PDGFR/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.TINGTING LI WEI ZHONG LIU YANG ZHIYU ZHAO LI WANG CONG LIU WANYUN LI HAIYAN LV SHENGYU WANG JIANGHUA YAN TING WU GANG SONG FANGHONG LUO 2024Oncology Research2024,32,2:0
18A Self-Biomineralized Novel Adenovirus Vectored COVID-19 Vaccine for Boosting Immunization of Mice显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 has caused more than 3.8 million deaths worldwide,and several types of COVID-19 vaccines are urgently approved for use,including adenovirus vectored vaccines.However,the thermal instability and pre-existing immunity have limited its wide applications.To circumvent these obstacles,we constructed a self-biomineralized adenovirus vectored COVID-19 vaccine(Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P)by generating a calcium phosphate mineral exterior(Ca P)based on Sad23L vector carrying the full-length gene of SARS-Co V-2 spike protein(S)under physiological condition.This Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P vaccine was examined for its characteristics of structure,thermostability,immunogenicity and avoiding the problem of preexisting immunity.In thermostability test,Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P could be stored at 4°C for over 45 days,26°C for more than 8 days and 37°C for approximately 2 days.Furthermore,Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P induced higher level of S-specific antibody and T cell responses,and was not affected by the pre-existing anti-Sad23L immunity,suggesting it could be used as boosting immunization on Sad23L-n Co V-S priming vaccination.The boosting with Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P vaccine induced high titers of 10^(5.01)anti-S1,10^(4.77)anti-S2 binding antibody,10^(3.04) pseudovirus neutralizing antibody(IC_(50)),and robust T-cell response of IFN-c(1466.16 SFCs/10^(6)cells)to S peptides,respectively.In summary,the selfbiomineralization of the COVID-19 vaccine Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P improved vaccine efficacy,which could be used in prime-boost regimen for prevention of SARS-Co V-2 infection in humans.Shengxue Luo Panli Zhang Peng Zou Cong Wang Bochao Liu Cuiling Wu Tingting Li Ling Zhang Yuming Zhang Chengyao Li 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,5:0
