2Impact of Grid Connection of Large-Scale Wind Farms on Power System Small-Signal Angular Stability显示文摘The grid connection of a large-scale wind farm could change the load flow/configuration of a power system and introduce dynamic interactions with the synchronous generators(SGs),thus affecting system small-signal angular stability.This paper proposes an approach for the separate examination of the impact of those affecting factors,i.e.,the change of load flow/configuration and dynamic interactions brought about by the grid connection of the wind farm,on power system smallsignal angular stability.Both cases of grid connection of the wind farm,either displacing synchronous generators or being directly added into the power system,are considered.By using the proposed approach,how much the effect of the change of load flow/configuration brought about by the wind farm can be examined,while the degree of impact of the dynamic interaction of the wind farm with the SGs can be investigated separately.Thus,a clearer picture and better understanding of the power system small-signal angular stability as affected by grid connection of the large-scale wind farm can be achieved.An example of the power system with grid connection of a wind farm is presented to demonstrate the proposed approach.Wenjuan Du Jingtian Bi Tong Wang Haifeng Wang 2015CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2015,1,2:39
3Diagnostic performance of contrast-enhanced ultrasound and enhanced magnetic resonance for breast nodules显示文摘In the current study, we sought to evaluate the diagnostic efficacies of conventional ultrasound(US), contrastenhanced US(CEUS), combined US and CEUS and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) in detecting focal solid breast lesions. Totally 117 patients with 120 BI-RADS category 4A-5 breast lesions were evaluated by conventional US and CEUS, and MRI, respectively. SonoVue was used as contrast agent in CEUS and injected as an intravenous bolus; nodule scan was performed 4 minutes after bolus injection. A specific sonographic quantification software was used to obtain color-coded maps of perfusion parameters for the investigated lesion, namely the time-intensity curve.The pattern of contrast enhancement and related indexes regarding the time-intensity curve were used to describe the lesions, comparatively with pathological results. Histopathologic examination revealed 46 benign and 74 malignant lesions. Sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of US in detecting malignant breast lesions were 90.14%, 95.92%, and 92.52%, respectively. Meanwhile, CE-MRI showed sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of 88.73%, 95.92%, and91.67%, respectively. The area under the ROC curve for combined US and CEUS in discriminating benign from malignant breast lesions was 0.936, while that of MRI was 0.923, with no significant difference between them, as well as among groups. The time-intensity curve of malignant hypervascular fibroadenoma and papillary lesions mostly showed a fast-in/fast-out pattern, with no good correlation between them(kappa <0.20). 4Antiviral treatment to prevent chronic hepatitis B or C-related hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Antiviral treatment is the only option to prevent or defer the occurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) in patients chronically infected with hepatitis B virus(HBV) or hepatitis C virus(HCV). The approved medication for the treatment of chronic HBV infection is interferon-α(IFNα) and nucleos(t)ide analogues(NAs), including lamivudine, adefovir dipivoxil, telbivudine, entecavir and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. IFNα is the most suitable for young patients with less advanced liver diseases and those infected with HBV genotype A. IFNα treatment significantly decreases the overall incidence of HBV-related HCC in sustained responders. However, side effects may limit its long-term clinical application. Orally administered NAs are typically implemented for patients with more advanced liver diseases. NA treatment significantly reduces disease progression of cirrhosis and therefore HCC incidence, especially in HBV e antigen-positive patients. NA-resistance due to the mutations in HBV polymerase is a major limiting factor. Of the NA resistance-associated mutants, A181 T mutant significantly increases the risk of HCC development during the subsequent course of NA therapy. It is important to initiate treatment with NAs that have a high genetic barrier to resistance, to counsel patients on medication adherence and to monitor virological breakthroughs. The recommended treatment for patients with chronic HCV infection is peg-IFN plus ribavirin that can decrease the occurrence of HCC in those who achieve a sustained virological response and have not yet progressed to cirrhosis. IFN-based treatment is reserved for patients with decompensated cirrhosis who are under evaluation of liver transplantation to reduce post-transplant recurrence of HCV. More effective therapeutic options such as direct acting antiviral agents will hopefully increase the response rate in difficult-totreat patients with HCV genotype 1. However, the risk of HCC remains in cirrhotic patients(both chronic HBV and HCV infection) if treatment is initiated after cirrhosis is established. 7Methylation of Dickkopf-3 as a prognostic factor in cirrhosis-related hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM:To investigate the prevalence and time of Dickkopf(DKK) family methylation and its clinical significance in hepatocarcinogenesis. METHODS:Methylation of DKK family genes was quantitatively analyzed in 115 liver tissue samples,including 50 pairs of primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) and matched noncancerous cirrhotic tissue samples,as well as 15 liver cirrhosis biopsy samples. RESULTS:The methylation level of DKK3 was significantly higher in HCC tissue samples than in matched noncancerous cirrhotic tissue samples(P<0.0001) orin liver cirrhosis biopsy samples(P=0.0139) .Receiver operator characteristic curve analysis confirmed that the percent of methylated reference(PMR) values of DKK3 could effectively discriminate HCC tissue samples from noncancerous tissue samples(AUC=0.8146) or liver cirrhosis biopsy samples(AUC=0.7093) .Kaplan-Meier survival curves revealed that the progression-free survival time of patients with a higher DKK3 methylation level(PMR >1%) was significantly shorter than that of those with a lower DKK3 methylation level(PMR≤1%)(P=0.0255) . Multivariate Cox analysis indicated that methylated DKK3 was significantly and independently related with a shorter survival time(relative risk=2.527,95%CI:1.063-6.008,P=0.036) of HCC patients. 10Combined genome-wide association study and transcriptome analysis reveal candidate genes for resistance to Fusarium ear rot in maize显示文摘Fusarium ear rot,caused by Fusarium verti-cillioides,is a devastating fungal disease in maize that re-duces yield and quality;moreover,F.verticillioides pro-duces fumonisin mycotoxins,which pose serious threats to human and animal health.Here,we performed a genome-wide association study(GWAS)under three en-vironmental conditions and identified 34 single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)that were significantly associated with Fusarium ear rot resistance.With reference to the maize B73 genome,69 genes that overlapped with or were adjacent to the significant SNPs were identified as potential resistance genes to Fusarium ear rot.Comparing transcriptomes of the most resistant and most susceptible lines during the very early response to Fusarium ear rot,we detected many differentially expressed genes enriched for pathways related to plant immune responses,such as plant hormone signal transduction,phenylpropanoid bio-synthesis,and cytochrome P450 metabolism.More than one-fourth of the potential resistance genes detected in the GWAS were differentially expressed in the tran-scriptome analysis,which allowed us to predict numbers of candidate genes for maize resistance to ear rot,in-cluding genes related to plant hormones,a MAP kinase,a PR5-like receptor kinase,and heat shock proteins.We propose that maize plants initiate early immune responses to Fusarium ear rot mainly by regulating the growth-defense balance and promoting biosynthesis of defense compounds.Lishan Yao Yanmei Li Chuanyu Ma Lixiu Tong Feili Du Mingliang Xu 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,10:13
11Effect of Bushenwenyanghuayu decoction on nerve growth factor and bradykinin/bradykinin B_1 receptor in a endometriosis dysmenorrhea mouse model显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of Bushenwenyanghuayu decoction(BD),a Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),on the serum concentration of nerve growth factor(NGF) and bradykinin(BK),and protein and mRNA levels of NGF and bradykinin B_1receptor(BKB1R) in a mouse model of endometriosis dysmenorrhea.METHODS:Seventy-five experimental female BALB/c mice were randomly divided into five groups,15 mice each:sham,model,BD high dose(61.67 g/kg),BD low dose(15.42 g/kg),and gestrinone(0.4 mg/kg) groups.All the mice except for those in the sham group underwent auto-transplantation surgery and were gavaged estradiol valerate(0.5 mg/kg,daily for 12 days) after surgery.On the 12 th day,1 h after administration,writhing response was induced by intraperitoneal injection of oxytocin at 2 U/mouse.The writhing frequency and latency were recorded and the volume of the ectopic foci was measured.The concentration of serum NGF and BK was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,the protein expression of NGF and BKB1 R was tested by immunohistochemistry and western blotting,and NGF and BKB1 R mRNAs were detected by real-time PCR.RESULTS:Compared with the model group,the volume of the ectopic foci in the treatment groups was significantly lower(P < 0.01),the writhing frequency was decreased(P < 0.05),and the writhing latency was prolonged(P < 0.01).Compared with the sham group,serum NGF and BK levels in the model group were significantly increased(P <0.01).There were positive correlations for writhing frequency among the NGF and BK groups(P <0.01).The serum NGF and BK levels were significantly lower in the treatment groups than the model group(P < 0.05).The protein expression of NGF,BKB1 R was significantly decreased in the treatment groups compared with the model group(P < 0.01).NGF and BKB1 R mRNA expression was significantly decreased in the treatment groups compared with the model group(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:NGF and BK/BKB1 R may play an important role in the development of endometriosis-associated dysmenorrhea,and BD was found to inhibit the development of endometriosis and relieve dysmenorrhea by influencing NGF and BK/BKB1 R mRNA and protein levels.Chen Jingwei Du Huilan Tong Ruixiao Yang Hua Ma Huirong 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2:12
12Expression and significance of MMP3 in synovium of knee joint at different stage in osteoarthritis patients显示文摘Objective:To investigate the expression and significance of MMP-3 in synovium of knee joint at different stage in osteoarthritis(OA)patients.Methods:Knee synovial tissue were collected in90 OA patients(the OA group).Patients in the OA group was divided into 3 subgroups:gradeⅠsubgroup(n=30),gradeⅡsubgroup(n=30),gradeⅢsubgroup(n=30).Thirty patients served as control group,lmmunohistochemical assay was used to detect the expression of MMP-3 protein in the knee synovial tissue.Results:MMP-3 protein was detected in all knee synovial tissue.The expression of MMP-3 protein in the OA group was significantly higher that in the normal synovium(P<0.05),and the MMP-3 protein was mainly located in the cytoplasm.There was significant difference in the expression of MMP-3 protein between the gradeⅢsubgroup and the gradeⅠ,gradeⅡsubgroups(all P<0.05).The expression of MMP-3 protein was positively related to the severity of OA(r=0.912,P<0.05).Conclusions:The expression of MMP-3 protein are closely related to pathogenic mechanism of OA.It may be an important indicator of early diagnosis and the activity of the disease of osteoarthritis.Jun-Jie Chen Jie-Feng Huang Wen-Xi Du Pei-Jian Tong 2014Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2014,7,4:12
13Optimal storage temperature and 1-MCP treatment combinations for different marketing times of Korla Xiang pears显示文摘Maintenance of green color is the primary indicator of quality in the market evaluation of Korla Xiang pears at present and can generally be achieved through early harvesting and decreasing the storage temperature, but the fruit quality was reduced by early harvesting, and the decreasing storage temperature increased the risk of chilling injury. The objectives of this study were to determine the optimal storage parameters for different storage times and to find ways to preserve the green skin color of pears. Specifically, we analyzed the effects of the ethylene inhibitor, 1-methylcyclopropene(1-MCP), combined with low temperature on quality and maintenance of the green color of Korla Xiang pears during storage. We found that 1-MCP and/or low temperature reduced the loss of green color at 20°C after being removed from cold storage. In addition, 1-MCP significantly inhibited the decline of titratable acid and ascorbic acid but had no significant effect on fruit firmness and total soluble solids. Low temperature with or without 1-MCP inhibited the release of ethylene, inhibited the decline in the stalk preservation index, inhibited the increase in decay rate and weight loss rate during storage, and inhibited the increase in the core browning index after 225 days of storage. Different storage temperatures had different effects on the quality of Korla Xiang pears. Despite inhibiting ethylene release, a storage temperature of –1.5°C increased the respiration rate. Storage at –1.5°C caused core browning early during storage due to chilling injury, whereas at 2°C core browning occurred late during storage due to senescence. In late storage, 1-MCP had no significant effect on the maintenance of Korla Xiang pear quality at 2°C. Based on these results, we determined the optimal combinations of low temperature and 1-MCP treatment to maintain pear quality while avoiding chilling injury. For different marketing times, the optimal conditions for storage until New Year's Day(a storage duration of 90 days) are 2°C or 1-MCP combined with 2°C. 14Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 15The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 16Effects of professional rehabilitation training on the recovery of neurological function in young stroke patients显示文摘Young stroke patients have a strong desire to return to the society,but few studies have been conducted on their rehabilitation training items,intensity,and prognosis.We analyzed clinical data of young and middle-aged/older stroke patients hospitalized in the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation,China Rehabilitation Research Center,Capital Medical University,China from February 2014 to May 2015.Results demonstrated that hemorrhagic stroke(59.6%) was the primary stroke type found in the young group,while ischemic stroke(60.0%)was the main type detected in the middle-aged/older group.Compared with older stroke patients,education level and incidence of hyperhomocysteinemia were higher in younger stroke patients,whereas,incidences of hypertension,diabetes,and heart disease were lower.The average length of hospital stay was longer in the young group than in the middle-aged/older group.The main risk factors observed in the young stroke patients were hypertension,drinking,smoking,hyperlipidemia,hyperhomocysteinemia,diabetes,previous history of stroke,and heart disease.The most accepted rehabilitation program consisted of physiotherapy,occupational therapy,speech therapy,acupuncture and moxibustion.Average rehabilitation training time was 2.5 hours/day.Barthel Index and modified Rankin Scale scores were increased at discharge.Six months after discharge,the degree of occupational and economic satisfaction declined,and there were no changes in family life satisfaction.The degrees of other life satisfaction(such as friendship) improved.The degree of disability and functional status improved significantly in young stroke patients after professional rehabilitation,but the number of patients who returned to society within 6 months after stroke was still small.Chao-jin-zi Li Xiao-xia Du Kun Yang Lu-ping Song Peng-kun Li Qiang Wang Rong Sun Xiao-ling Lin Hong-yu Lu Tong Zhang 2016Neural Regeneration Research2016,11,11:11

20UAV navigation in high dynamic environments:A deep reinforcement learning approach显示文摘Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) navigation is aimed at guiding a UAV to the desired destinations along a collision-free and efficient path without human interventions, and it plays a crucial role in autonomous missions in harsh environments. The recently emerging Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL) methods have shown promise for addressing the UAV navigation problem,but most of these methods cannot converge due to the massive amounts of interactive data when a UAV is navigating in high dynamic environments, where there are numerous obstacles moving fast.In this work, we propose an improved DRL-based method to tackle these fundamental limitations.To be specific, we develop a distributed DRL framework to decompose the UAV navigation task into two simpler sub-tasks, each of which is solved through the designed Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) based DRL network by using only part of the interactive data. Furthermore, a clipped DRL loss function is proposed to closely stack the two sub-solutions into one integral for the UAV navigation problem.
