1Design,methodology,and baseline of whole city‑million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS)in Wenzhou,China显示文摘Background:Myopia is the most common visual impairment in children and adolescents worldwide.This study described an economical and effective population-based screening pipeline and performed the project of a million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS),which will shed light on the further study of myopia from the level of epidemiology and precision medicine.Methods:We developed a novel population-based screening pattern,an intelligent screening process and internetbased information transmission and analysis system to carry out the survey consisting of school children in Wenzhou,China.The examination items include unaided distance visual acuity,presenting distance visual acuity,and noncycloplegic autorefraction.Myopia and high myopia were defined as spherical equivalent(SE)≤−1.00 diopters(D)and SE≤−6.00 D,respectively.Next,the reports of the vision checking were automatically sent to parents and the related departments.The CAMS project will be done two to four times annually with the support of the government.An online eyesight status information management system(OESIMS)was developed to construct comprehensive and efficient electronic vision health records(EVHRs)for myopia information inquiry,risk pre-warning,and further study.Results:The CAMS completed the first-round of screening within 30 days for 99.41%of Wenzhou students from districts and counties,in June 2019.A total of 1,060,925 participants were eligible for CAMS and 1,054,251(99.37%participation rate)were selected through data quality control,which comprised 1305 schools,and 580,609,251,050 and 170,967 elementary,middle,and high school students.The mean age of participants was 12.21±3.32 years(6-20 years),the female-to-male ratio was 0.82.The prevalence of myopia in elementary,middle,and high school students was 38.16%,77.52%,and 84.00%,respectively,and the high myopia incidence was 0.95%,6.90%,and 12.98%.Conclusions:The CAMS standardized myopia screening model involves automating large-scale information collection,data transmission,data analysis and early warning,thereby supporting myopia prevention and control.The entire survey reduced 90%of staff,cost,and time consumption compared with previous surveys.This will provide new insights for decision support for public health intervention.Liangde Xu Youyuan Zhuang Guosi Zhang Yunlong Ma Jian Yuan Changseng Tu MiaoMiao Li Wencan Wang Yaru Zhang Xiaoyan Lu Jing Li Xinting Liu Zhengbo Xue Meng Zhou Jie Sun Jinhua Bao Ming Li Fan Lu Hong Wang Jianzhong Su Jia Qu 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:7

4PEG-asparaginase in BFM-90 regimen improves outcomes in adults with newly diagnosed lymphoblastic lymphoma显示文摘Objective: Although L-asparaginase(L-ASP) is a standard treatment for lymphoblastic lymphoma(LBL),hypersensitivity reactions by some patients limit its application. Polyethylene glycol-conjugated asparaginase(PEGASP) has a lower immunogenicity and is a standard treatment in all pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL).In this study, we investigated the efficacy and toxicity of PEG-ASP instead of L-ASP as used in the BFM-90regimen(PEG-ASP-BFM-90) for adult LBL.Methods: Between June 2012 and July 2015, we treated 30 adult patients with newly diagnosed LBL, using PEGASP-BFM-90 in a prospective, multicenter and single-arm clinical study at 5 participating institutions in China.Results: All the 30 patients, including 19 males and 11 females with a median age of 30(range: 18–62) years,completed 128 times of the PEG-ASP, with the median of 4(range: 2–6) times. Patients did not receive radiotherapy at this time. The overall response rate was 86.7%(26/30), with 50.0%(15/30) complete response and36.7%(11/30) partial response. The 3-year overall survival was 46.0% [95% confidence interval(95% CI),28.2%–64.8%], and the 3-year progression-free survival was 43.0%(95% CI, 25.7%–62.0%). Major adverse events were myelosuppression, reduced fibrinogen, liver dysfunction and digestive tract toxicities. No allergic reaction and no treatment-related mortality or severe complications were recorded.Conclusions: Our clinical data and observed outcomes indicate that 1 dose of PEG-ASP can replace multiple doses of native L-ASP in BFM-90, with predominantly grade 3–4 neutropenia for adult LBL, and no therapyrelated deaths. The effect is similar to previous reports of PEG-ASP-containing regimens for adult ALL. 5Modeling mass transfer of CO_2 in brine at high pressures by chemical potential gradient显示文摘To investigate long-term CO2 behavior in geological formations and quantification of possible CO2 leaks, it is crucial to investigate the potential mobility of CO2 dissolved in brines over a wide range of spatial and temporal scales and density distributions in geological media. In this work, the mass transfer of aqueous CO 2 in brines has been investigated by means of a chemical potential gradient model based on non-equilibrium thermodynamics in which the statistical associating fluid theory equation of state was used to calculate the fugacity coefficient of CO2 in brine. The investigation shows that the interfacial concentration of aqueous CO2 and the corresponding density both increase with increasing pressure and decreasing temperature; the effective diffusion coefficients decrease initially and then increase with increasing pressure; and the density of the CO2 -disolved brines increases with decreasing CO2 pressure in the CO2 dissolution process. The aqueous CO2 concentration profiles obtained by the chemical potential gradient model are considerably different from those obtained by the concentration gradient model, which shows the importance of considering non-ideality, especially when the pressure is high.JI YuanHui JI XiaoYan LU XiaoHua TU YongMing 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,6:1

8Hydrothermal Synthesis and Electrochemical Behavior of Nanosized Orthorhombic LiMnO_(2)显示文摘Nanosized orthorhombic LiMnO2 was successfully synthesized using Mn2O3 and LiOH.H2O as starting materials.Not only the reaction temperature was lower, but the reaction time for synthesizing was notably shortened to 1 h.In this hydrothermal process, the cations of the starting materials were capable of mixing and interacting in ionic scale, which resulted in the rapid formation of o-LiMnO2 powders at relatively low temperature. The particle size conformed by transmission electron microscopy is around 50~150 nm. Benefiting from its small particle size and good uniformity, the obtained o-LiMnO2 can reach the maximum discharge capacity of 163 mA.h.g-1 at 0.1 C rate after several cycles.
