| 1 | Episodic crustal anatexis and the formation of Paiku composite leucogranitic pluton in the Malashan Gneiss Dome, Southern Tibet显示文摘The Paiku composite leucogranitic pluton in the Malashan gneiss dome within the Tethyan Himalaya consists of tourmaline leucogranite,two-mica granite and garnet-bearing leucogranite.Zircon U-Pb dating yields that(1)tourmaline leucogranite formed at28.2±0.5 Ma and its source rock experienced simultaneous metamorphism and anatexis at 33.6±0.6 Ma;(2)two-mica granite formed at 19.8±0.5 Ma;(3)both types of leucogranite contain inherited zircon grains with an age peak at^480 Ma.These leucogranites show distinct geochemistry in major and trace elements as well as in Sr-Nd-Hf isotope compositions.As compared to the two-mica granites,the tourmaline ones have higher initial Sr and zircon Hf isotope compositions,indicating that they were derived from different source rocks combined with different melting reactions.Combined with available literature data,it is suggested that anatexis at^35 Ma along the Himalayan orogenic belt might have triggered the initial movement of the Southern Tibetan Detachment System(STDS),and led to the tectonic transition from compressive shortening to extension.Such a tectonic transition could be a dominant factor that initiates large scale decompressional melting of fertile high-grade metapelites along the Himalayan orogenic belt.Crustal anatexis at^28 Ma and^20 Ma represent large-scale melting reactions associated with the movement of the STDS. | GAO LiE ZENG LingSen HOU KeJun GUO ChunLi TANG SuoHan XIE KeJia HU GuYue WANG Li | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28: | 23 |
| 2 | A novel deletion mutation, c.1296delT in the BCOR gene, is associated with oculo-facio-cardio-dental syndrome显示文摘The purpose of the present study was to analyze the clinical phenotypes of a girl with oculo-facio-cardio-dental(OFCD)syndrome and to identify the potential pathogenic mutation responsible for her disease. The patient underwent detailed clinical examinations and phenotype data were collected over a follow-up period of 9 years. Mutation analysis of the candidate gene BCOR was performed with polymerase chain reaction and Sanger sequencing. BCOR of 60 unrelated normal individuals were also sequenced as a control group. Clinical phenotyping and follow-up study results indicate that this patient had multiple system anomalies including ocular, facial, cardiac, dental, and limb malformations. In addition, papilloma of the choroid plexus was identified, which represents the first report of this phenotype in an OFCD patient. A novel deletion mutation, c.1296 delT in exon4 of the BCOR gene, was identified in this patient and was not found in her parents or in 60 normal unrelated individuals. This deletion was a frameshift mutation and is proposed to encode a premature stop codon, thus producing a truncated protein. Our patient fitted the diagnostic criteria for OFCD syndrome and we report the first papilloma of the choroid plexus in an OFCD patient, expanding the recognized phenotypic spectrum of this disease. | 3 | Image segmentation algorithm for greenhouse cucumber canopy under various natural lighting conditions显示文摘In this study,machine vision technology was used to capture images of greenhouse cucumber canopy,and image segmentation was implemented under various natural lighting conditions.The images were enhanced by multi-scale retinex with color restore(MSRCR),and the MSRCR images were segmented by four algorithms:normalized difference index(NDI),excess green(ExG),modified excess green(MExG),and modified excess green minus excess red(MExG-ExR).The results indicated that compared with the original images,under various lighting conditions,the average evaluation indexes of brightness,information entropy,average gradient and mean gray value of the MSRCR images were increased by 38.71%,8.04%,4.54%,and 37.81%,respectively,and only the contrast degree decreased by 12.13%.The MExG-ExR segmentation algorithm was used to segment the MSRCR images(fifty images under various lighting conditions in the test and it performed best among the four segmentation algorithms,average overlap ratios and recognition rates of were 99.28%and 98.91%,respectively,while 38.39%and 37.95%respectively for original image.These results indicated that the MExG-ExR segmentation algorithm applied to a MSRCR canopy image produced the most stable results among the four algorithms.By using the MSRCR image enhancement algorithm,the interference of lighting on greenhouse cucumber canopy images was reduced and the foundation for achieving accurate segmentation of a canopy region was laid,which is of great significance for greenhouse cucumber phenotypic parameter measurements. | Sun Guoxiang Li Yongbo Wang Xiaochan Hu Guyue Wang Xuan Zhang Yu | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,3: | 4 |
| 4 | Multi-modal anti-counterfeiting and encryption enabled through silicon-based materials featuring pH-responsive fluorescence and room-temperature phosphorescence显示文摘Nano Research volume 13,pages1614–1619(2020)Cite this article 236 Accesses Metrics details Abstract Optical silicon(Si)-based materials are highly attractive due to their widespread applications ranging from electronics to biomedicine.It is worth noting that while extensive efforts have been devoted to developing fluorescent Si-based structures,there currently exist no examples of Si-based materials featuring phosphorescence emission,severely limiting Si-based wide-ranging optical applications.To address this critical issue,we herein introduce a kind of Si-based material,in which metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are in-situ growing on the surface of Si nanoparticles(SiNPs)assisted by microwave irradiation.Of particular significance,the resultant materials,i.e.,MOFs-encapsulated SiNPs(MOFs@SiNPs)could exhibit pH-responsive fluorescence,whose maximum emission wavelength is red-shifted from 442 to 592 nm when the pH increases from 2 to 13.More importantly,distinct room-temperature phosphorescence(maximum emission wavelength:505 nm)could be observed in this system,with long lifetime of 215 ms.Taking advantages of above-mentioned unique optical properties,the MOFs@SiNPs are further employed as high-quality anti-counterfeiting inks for advanced encryption.In comparison to conventional fluorescence anti-counterfeiting techniques(static fluorescence outputs are generally used,thus being easily duplicated and leading to counterfeiting risk),pH-responsive fluorescence and room-temperature phosphorescence of the resultant MOFs@SiNPs-based ink could offer advanced multi-modal security,which is therefore capable of realizing higher-level information security against counterfeiting. | Jinhua Wang Bin Song Jiali Tang Guyue Hu Jingyang Wang Mingyue Cui Yao He | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,6: | 3 |
| 5 | TGF-β regulation of microRNA miR-497-5p and ocular lens epithelial cell mesenchymal transition显示文摘The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of a human lens microRNA(miR-497-5p) in regulating epithelialmesenchymal transition(EMT) under the control of transforming growth factor beta(TGF-β). A microRNA array was used to evaluate the microRNA profiles of untreated and TGF-β-treated human lens epithelial cells in culture. This showed that TGF-βtreatment led to the upregulation of 96 microRNAs and downregulation of 39 microRNAs. Thirteen microRNAs were predicted to be involved in the pathogenesis of posterior capsule opacification(PCO). Meanwhile, overexpression of miR-497-5p suppressed cell proliferation and EMT 48 h post-transfection, and inhibition of miR-497-5p accelerated cell proliferation and EMT.Treatment with TGF-β inhibited the expression of miR-497-5p, but not cell proliferation. miR-497-5p was also found to regulate the level of CCNE1 and FGF7, which are reported to be actively involved in EMT. CCNE1 and FGF7 were bona fide targets of miR-497-5p. | 11 | A low-energy ion spectrometer with half-space entrance for three-axis stabilized spacecraft显示文摘A low-energy ion spectrometer(LEIS) for use aboard three-axis stabilized spacecraft has been developed to measure ion energy per charge distribution in three-dimensional space with good energy-, angular-and temporal-resolutions. For the standard top-hat electrostatic analyzer used widely in space plasma detection, three-axis stabilized spacecraft makes it difficult to obtain complete coverage of all possible ion arrival directions. We have designed angular scanning deflectors supplementing to a cylindrically symmetric top-hat electrostatic analyzer to provide a half-space field of view as 360°×90°(–45°–+45°), and fabricated the LEIS flight model for detecting magnetospheric ions in geosynchronous orbit. The performance of this payload has been evaluated in detail by a series of simulation and environmental tests, and the payload has also been calibrated through laboratory experiments using a low-energy ion source. | 17 | Enterogenic Stenotrophomonas maltophilia migrates to the mammary gland to induce mastitis by activating the calcium-ROS-AMPK-mTOR-autophagy pathway显示文摘Background Mastitis is an inflammatory disease of the mammary gland that has serious economic impacts on the dairy industry and endangers food safety.Our previous study found that the body has a gut/rumen-mammary gland axis and that disturbance of the gut/rumen microbiota could result in‘gastroenterogenic mastitis'.However,the mechanism has not been fully clarified.Recently,we found that long-term feeding of a high-concentrate diet induced mastitis in dairy cows,and the abundance of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia(S.maltophilia)was significantly increased in both the rumen and milk microbiota.Accordingly,we hypothesized that‘gastroenterogenic mastitis'can be induced by the migration of endogenous gut bacteria to the mammary gland.Therefore,this study investigated the mechanism by which enterogenic S.maltophilia induces mastitis.Results First,S.maltophilia was labelled with superfolder GFP and administered to mice via gavage.The results showed that treatment with S.maltophilia promoted the occurrence of mastitis and increased the permeability of the blood-milk barrier,leading to intestinal inflammation and intestinal leakage.Furthermore,tracking of ingested S.maltophilia revealed that S.maltophilia could migrate from the gut to the mammary gland and induce mastitis.Subsequently,mammary gland transcriptome analysis showed that the calcium and AMPK signalling pathways were significantly upregulated in mice treated with S.maltophilia.Then,using mouse mammary epithelial cells(MMECs),we verified that S.maltophilia induces mastitis through activation of the calcium-ROS-AMPK-mTOR-autophagy pathway.Conclusions In conclusion,the results showed that enterogenic S.maltophilia could migrate from the gut to the mammary gland via the gut-mammary axis and activate the calcium-ROS-AMPK-mTOR-autophagy pathway to induce mastitis.Targeting the gut-mammary gland axis may also be an effective method to treat mastitis. | Zhaoqi He Caijun Zhao Yuhong He Zhuoyu Liu Guyue Fan Kun Zhu Yiqi Wang Naisheng Zhang Yunhe Fu Xiaoyu Hu | 2024 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2024,15,1: | 0 |
