1Orbit determination of Chang'E-3 and positioning of the lander and the rover显示文摘Chang’E-3 landed on the east of Sinus Iridum area on December 14,2013,performing China’s first successful soft landing on the lunar surface.We present the results on precision orbit determination and positioning of the lander and the rover.We describe the data,modeling,and methods used to achieve position knowledge over the period December 2–21,2014.In addition to the radiometric X-band range and Doppler tracking data,delta differential one-way ranging data are also used in the calculation,which show that they strongly improve the accuracy of the orbit reconstruction.Total position overlap differences are about 20 and 30 m for the 100 km 9 100 km and100 km9 15 km lunar orbit,respectively,increased by*50%with respect to CE-2 and at the same level as other lunar spacecrafts of recent era such as SELENE and lunar reconnaissance orbiter(LRO).The position error of the soft landing trajectory is less than 100 m.A kinematic statistical method is applied to determine the position of the lander and relative position of the rover with respect to the lander.The position difference of the lander is better than50 m compared to LRO photograph result.Compared with the delta very long baseline interferometry(VLBI)group delay between the lander and the rover,the delta VLBI phase delay can improve the relative position of the rover from*1,000 to*1 m.Yong Huang Shengqi Chang Peijia Li Xiaogong Hu Guangli Wang Qinghui Liu Weimin Zheng Min Fan 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,29:28

4Remote Sensing Retrieval of Surface Suspended Sediment Concentration in the Yellow River Estuary显示文摘Accurate assessment of surface suspended sediment concentration(SSSC) in estuary is essential to address several important issues: erosion, water pollution, human health risks, etc. In this study, an empirical cubic retrieval model was developed for the retrieval of SSSC from Yellow River Estuary. Based on sediments and seawater collected from the Yellow River and southeastern Laizhou Bay, SSSC conditions were reproduced in the laboratory at increasing concentrations within a range common to field observations. Continuous spectrum measurements of the various SSSCs ranging from 1 to 5700 mg/l were carried out using an Ava Field-3 spectrometer. The results indicated the good correlation between water SSSC and spectral reflectance(Rrs) was obtained in the spectral range of 726–900 nm. At SSSC greater than 2700 mg/L, the 740–900 nm spectral range was less susceptible to the effects of spectral reflectance saturation and more suitable for retrieval of high sediment concentrations. The best correlations were obtained for the reflectance ratio of 820 nm to 490 nm. Informed by the correlation between Rrs and SSSC, a retrieval model was developed(R2 = 0.992). The novel cubic model, which used the ratio of a near-infrared(NIR) band(740–900 nm) to a visible band(400–600 nm) as factors, provided robust quantification of high SSSC water samples. Two high SSSC centers, with an order of 103 mg/l, were found in the inversion results around the abandoned Diaokou River mouth, the present Yellow River mouth to the abandoned Qingshuigou River mouth. 5Distribution and origin of biologically available phosphorus in the water of the Meiliang Bay in summer显示文摘The investigation and continuous monitoring with an innovative iron oxide embedded cellulose acetate membrane (FeO/CAM) on the concentrations of biologically available phosphorus (BAP) were conducted in the Meiliang Bay of the Taihu Lake during summer in 2004. The results showed that the concentrations of dissolved (FeO-DP), particulate (FeO-PP) and total bioavailable phosphorus (FeO-P) had similar horizontal distribution. The BAP concentrations were the highest in those estuaries in the northern bay. With the decrease of the distance to the estuary or long shore,there was little difference between BAP concentrations in an open lake area. During the observation period, algal blooms occurred in most waters of the northern bay, which was reflected from the high concentrations of chlorophyll a (Chl-a). While they were not highest in the estuarine waters of those major rivers, this is the case for the BAP concentrations. The concentrations of Chl-a had a significantly positive correlation with those of bioavailable phosphorus in the open area of the Meiliang Bay.With the sediment resuspension induced by wind and wave, BAP concentrations increased in a short-term, indicating that the riverine P inputs mainly contribute to the concentrations of BAP in the estuarine water while internal P release was the major source of BAP in the open lake area. In the eutrophic shallow lake, the blooms of alga may cause pH increase and further result in internal P release. 6The integration of transcriptomic and transgenic analyses reveals the involvement of the SA response pathway in the defense of chrysanthemum against the necrotrophic fungus Alternaria sp.显示文摘Chrysanthemum morifolium cv.‘Huaihuang’has ornamental,edible,medicinal,and tea product uses.However,its field growth,yield,and quality are negatively affected by black spot disease caused by Alternaria sp.(Strain:HQJH10092301;GenBank accession number:KF688111).In this study,we transcriptionally and transgenically characterized a new cultivar,‘Huaiju 2#’(Henan Traditional Chinese Medicine Plant Cultivar identification number:2016002),which was bred from‘Huaihuang’and shows resistance to Alternaria sp.Numerous‘Huaiju 2#’plants were inoculated with Alternaria sp.for three or five days.Metabolic analysis showed increases in both salicylic acid(SA)and jasmonic acid(JA)in infected plants compared to the control.Protein activity analysis also revealed a significant increase in defense enzyme activities in infected plants.RNA-Seq of plants infected for 3 or 5 days produced a total of 58.6 GB of clean reads.Among these reads,16,550 and 13,559 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified in Cm_3 dpi(sample from 3 days post-inoculation labeled as Cm_3 dpi)and Cm_5 dpi(sample from 5 days post-inoculation labeled as Cm_5 dpi),respectively,compared with their controls(Cm_0 d:a mixture samples from 0 d(before inoculation)and those treated with sterile distilled water at 3 dpi and 5 dpi).Gene annotation and cluster analysis of the DEGs revealed a variety of defense responses to Alternaria sp.infection,which were characterized by increases in resistance(R)proteins and the reactive oxygen species(ROS),Ca2+,mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),and JA signaling pathways.In particular,SA signaling was highly responsive to Alternaria sp.infection.The qPCR analysis of 12 DEG candidates supported their differential expression characterized by using the RNA-Seq data.One candidate was CmNPR1(nonexpressor of pathogenesis-related gene 1),an important positive regulator of SA in systemic acquired resistance(SAR).Overexpression of CmNPR1 in‘Huaiju 2#’increased the resistance of transgenic plants to black spot.These findings indicate that the SA response pathway is likely involved in the defense of‘Huaiju 2#’against Alternaria sp.pathogens.Xiting Zhao Lingyu Song Liwei Jiang Yuting Zhu Qinghui Gao Dandan Wang Jing Xie Meng Lv Ping Liu Mingjun Li 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:3
7A 3D-bioprinted scaffold with doxycycline-controlled BMP2-expressing cells for inducing bone regeneration and inhibiting bacterial infection显示文摘Large bone defects face a high risk of pathogen exposure due to open wounds,which leads to high infection rates and delayed bone union.To promote successful repair of infectious bone defects,fabrication of a scaffold with dual functions of osteo-induction and bacterial inhibition is required.This study describes creation of an engineered progenitor cell line(C3H10T1/2)capable of doxycycline(DOX)-mediated release of bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP2).Three-dimensional bioprinting technology enabled creation of scaffolds,comprising polycaprolactone/mesoporous bioactive glass/DOX and bioink,containing these engineered cells.In vivo and in vitro experiments confirmed that the scaffold could actively secrete BMP2 to significantly promote osteoblast differentiation and induce ectopic bone formation.Additionally,the scaffold exhibited broad-spectrum antibacterial capacity,thereby ensuring the survival of embedded engineered cells when facing high risk of infection.These findings demonstrated the efficacy of this bioprinted scaffold to release BMP2 in a controlled manner and prevent the occurrence of infection;thus,showing its potential for repairing infectious bone defects.Minqi Wang Hanjun Li Yiqi Yang Kai Yuan Feng Zhou Haibei Liu Qinghui Zhou Shengbing Yang Tingting Tang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,5:3
8Safety and efficacy of Yupingfeng granules in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection:A randomized clinical trial显示文摘Importance:Recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRTI)is common in children.Inappropriate RRTI treatment will lead to asthma and other diseases,thereby seriously affecting the growth and physical health of children.Immune function modulation can prevent and alleviate childhood RRTI.Yupingfeng(YPF),a patented traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),has immunomodulatory effects and is widely used in China to treat children with RRTI.Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of YPF monotherapy in treating children with RRTI.Methods:This multicenter,randomized,double-blind,double-simulation,noninferiority clinical trial was conducted from January 2015 to August 2017,with an 8-week treatment period and 52-week follow-up after the drug withdrawal.Children aged 2–6 years with RRTI meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were enrolled in 13 hospitals in China and divided randomly into three groups(2:2:1 ratio)to receive YPF,pidotimod,or placebo.The primary outcome was the proportion of RRTI returning to normal standard level during the follow-up.The secondary outcomes were reduction in the number of RRTI recurrences,effect on clinical symptoms(in accord with TCM practice),effect per symptom,and safety.The trial was registered at the Chinese Clinical Trials Registry(www.chictr.org.cn)under the unique identifier ChiCTR-IPR-15006847.Results:Three hundred and fifty-one children were enrolled and randomly assigned to 3 groups;124,125,and 61 children in the YPF,pidotimod,and placebo groups,respectively,had completed the trial.During the follow-up,the proportion of RRTI returning to normal standard level was 73.13%,67.15%,and 38.81%with YPF,pidotimod,and placebo,respectively(P<0.0001).The proportion of cases who returned to normal standard level in the YPF group was 34.32%higher than that in the placebo group.The safety profile did not significantly differ among the groups.Interpretation:YPF granules were noninferior to the active control drug pidotimod oral solution for the treatment of RRTI in children,and were superior to placebo,with a high safety profile.Baoping Xu Xinmin Li Siyuan Hu Yixiao Bao Fengmei Chen Zhimin Chen Yonggang Du Enmei Liu Yufeng Liu Qinghui Mou Baoling Su Bo Wang Jianwen Xu Guiping Xu Qiaozhi Yang Liwei Gao Xiaohui Liu Lei Li Rong Ma Kunling Shen 2022Pediatric Investigation2022,6,2:3
9Effect of Dietary Olaquindox on the Growth of Large Yellow Croaker(Pseudosciaena crocea R.) and the Distribution of Its Residues in Fish Tissues显示文摘Olaquindox(OLA), one of quinoxaline-N, N-dioxides, has been put under ban. However it was used as a medicinal feed additive early; it promotes the growth of livestock and prevents them from dysentery and bacterial enteritis. In this study, we evaluated the effect of dietary OLA on the growth of large yellow croaker(Pseudosciaena crocea R.) and the histological distribution of OLA and its metabolite 3-methyl-quinoxaline-2-carboxylic acid(MQCA) in fish tissues. Four diets containing 0(control), 42.5, 89.5 and 277.2 mg kg-1 OLA, respectively, were formulated and tested, 3 cages(1.0 m × 1.0 m × 1.5 m) each diet and 100 juveniles(9.75 ± 0.35 g) each cage. The fish were fed to satiation twice a day at 05:00 am and 17:00 pm for 8 weeks. The survival rate of fish fed the diet containing 42.5 and 89.5 mg kg-1 OLA was significantly higher than that of fish fed the diet containing 0 and 277.2 mg kg-1 OLA(P < 0.05), while the weight gain rate of fish fed the diet containing 42.5 and 89.5 mg kg-1 OLA was significantly higher than that of fish fed the diet without OLA(control)(P<0.05), but similar to that of fish fed the diet with 277.2 mg kg-1 OLA. Fish fed the diet with 277.2 mg kg-1 OLA had the highest content of OLA and MQCA in liver(3.44 and 0.39 mg kg-1, respectively), skin(0.46 and 0.09 mg kg-1, respectively) and muscle(0.24 and 0.06 mg kg-1, respectively). In average, fish fed the diet containing OLA had the highest content of OLA and MQCA in liver which was followed by skin and muscle(P < 0.05), whereas OLA and MQCA were not detectable in control. 10Machine Learning Approach to Enhance the Performance of MNP?Labeled Lateral Flow Immunoassay显示文摘The use of magnetic nanoparticle(MNP)-labeled immunochromatography test strips(ICTSs) is very important for point-ofcare testing(POCT). However, common diagnostic methods cannot accurately analyze the weak magnetic signal from ICTSs, limiting the applications of POCT. In this study, an ultrasensitive multiplex biosensor was designed to overcome the limitations of capturing and normalization of the weak magnetic signal from MNPs on ICTSs. A machine learning model for sandwich assays was constructed and used to classify weakly positive and negative samples, which significantly enhanced the specificity and sensitivity. The potential clinical application was evaluated by detecting 50 human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG) samples and 59 myocardial infarction serum samples. The quantitative range for HCG was 1–1000 mIU mL^(-1) and the ideal detection limit was 0.014 mIU mL^(-1), which was well below the clinical threshold. Quantitative detection results of multiplex cardiac markers showed good linear correlations with standard values. 11Protective Effects of Oyster Extract Against Hepatic Tissue Injury in Alcoholic Liver Diseases显示文摘Oyster extract is an effective bioactivity component. It has abundant nutritional value and antiviral, antitumor and immune defense functions. The role of oyster extract in treating liver injury has been paid more attention. We use Wistar rats to make alcoholic liver disease model through injecting alcohol into rats' stomachs. These rats were randomly divided into five groups: model group, control group, low-dose, middle-dose and high-dose experimental group with a dose of 0.12 g kg-1, 0.40 g kg-1, and 1.20 g kg-1 alcoholic. After nine weeks, serum biomarkers(ALT, AST, TG and TCHO), malondialdehyde(MDA), glutathione(GSH), C3a, C5a, IL-17, TNF-ɑ, anti-MAA-HAS IgG, CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, NK cell activation and zinc content were assessed. The results showed that the serum biomarkers(ALT, AST, TG and TCHO), MDA content, anti-MAA-HSA IgG, serum C3a, C5a IL-17 and TNF-ɑ levels of oyster extract treatment groups were significantly decreased in comparison with model group. On the contrary, GSH showed adverse trend. Serum CD3+, CD4+ and NK cell activation were significantly increased in middle-dose group and high-dose group compared with model group, and there was decrease of CD8+ activity in high-dose group. Plasma Zn level was decreased in model group compared with that in control group. 12Exosomes derived from human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells reduce tendon injuries via the miR-27b-3p/ ARHGAP5/RhoA signaling pathway显示文摘Tendon injuries are common clinical issues resulted from tissue overuse and age-related degeneration.Previous sutdies have suggested that exosomes secreted by mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)contribute to tissue injury repair.Here,we provide evidence for a critical role of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell(hucMSC)-derived exosomes in reducing tendon injury by activating the RhoA signaling.Treatment of primary injured tenocytes with hucMSC exosomes increases cell proliferation and invasion,which correlates with increased RhoA activity.RhoA mediates the effects of hucMSC exosomes,as treatment of primary injured tenocytes with the RhoA inhibitor,CCG-1423,abolishes the effects of hucMSC exosomes on cell proliferation and invasion.Mechanistically,we observe that hucMSC exosomes induce the expression of a microRNA,miR-27b-3p,which targets and suppresses ARHGAP5,a negative regulator of RhoA.Consistent with this observation,ARHGAP5 overexpression suppresses the effects of hucMSC exosomes on cell proliferation and invasion,while knockdown of ARHGAP5 rescues these effects.Finally,we demonstrate the functional significance of our findings in vivo using an Achilles tendon injury model and show that treatment with exosomes reduces tendon injury in rats,which correlates with increased RhoA activity and reduced ARHGAP5 expression.Taken together,our findings highlight a critical role of hucMSC exosomes in reducing tendon injury via miR-27b-3p-mediated suppression of ARHGAP5,resulting in RhoA activation,and leading to increased cell proliferation and invasion of primary injured tenocytes.Qinghui Han Shuguang Wang Dawei Chen Di Gan Tao Wang 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,2:2
13Research progress on distribution,sources,identification,toxicity,and biodegradation of microplastics in the ocean,freshwater,and soil environment显示文摘Microplastics(MPs)are distributed in the oceans,freshwater,and soil environment and have become major pollutants.MPs are generally referred to as plastic particles less than 5 mm in diameter.They consist of primary microplastics synthesized in microscopic size manufactured production and secondary microplastics generated by physical and environmental degradation.Plastic particles are long-lived pollutants that are highly resistant to environmental degradation.In this review,the distribution and possible sources of MPs in aquatic and terrestrial environments are described.Moreover,the adverse effects of MPs on natural creatures due to ingestion have been discussed.We also have summarized identification methods based on MPs particle size and chemical bond.To control the pollution of MPs,the biodegradation of MPs under the action of different microbes has also been reviewed in this work.This review will contribute to a better understanding of MPs pollution in the environment,as well as their identification,toxicity,and biodegradation in the ocean,freshwater,and soil,and the assessment and control of microplastics exposure.Qinghui Sun Juan Li Chen Wang Anqi Chen Yanli You Shupeng Yang Huihui Liu Guibin Jiang Yongning Wu Yanshen Li 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,1:2
14TAT Improves in vitro Transportation of Fortilin Through Midgut and into Hemocytes of White Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei显示文摘Fortilin is a multifunctional protein implicated in many important cellular processes. Since injection of Pm-fortilin reduces shrimp mortality caused by white spot syndrome virus (WSSV), there is potential application of fortilin in shrimp culture. In the present study, in order to improve trans-membrane transportation efficiency, the protein transduction domain of the transactivator of transcription (TAT) peptide was fused to fortilin. The Pichia pastoris yeast expression system, which is widely accepted in animal feeds, was used for production of recombinant fusion protein. Green fluorescence protein (GFP) was selected as a reporter because of its intrinsic visible fluorescence. The fortilin, TAT and GFP fusion protein were constructed. Their trans-membrane transportation efficiency and effects on immune response of shrimp were analyzed in vitro. Results showed that TAT peptide improved in vitro uptake of fortilin into the hemocytes and midgut of Litopenaeus vannamei. The phenoloxidase (PO) activity of hemocytes incubated with GFP-Fortilin or GFP-Fortilin-TAT was significantly increased compared with that in the control without expressed fortilin. The PO activity of hemocytes incubated with 200 μg mL-1 GFP-Fortilin-TAT was significantly higher than that in the group with the same concentration of GFP-Fortilin. Hemocytes incubated with GFP-Fortilin-TAT at all concentrations showed significantly higher nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity than those in the control or in the GFP-Fortilin treatment. 15Enhanced performance of a fast GaAs-based terahertz modulator via surface passivation显示文摘Surface-modified semiconductors show enormous potential for opto-terahertz(THz)spatial modulation due to their enhanced modulation depth(MD)along with their inherent broad bandwidth.Taking full advantage of the surface modification,a performance-enhanced,all-optical,fast switchable THz modulator was achieved here based on the surface-passivated Ga As wafer.With a decreased surface recombination rate and prolonged carrier lifetime induced by passivation,S-passivated Ga As was demonstrated as a viable candidate to enhance THz modulation performance in MD,especially at low photodoping levels.Despite a degraded modulation rate owing to the longer carrier lifetime,this passivated Ga As modulator simultaneously realizes a fast modulation at a 69-MHz speed and as high an MD as ~94% in a spectral wideband of 0.2-1.2 THz.The results demonstrated a new strategy to alleviate the tradeoff between high MD and speed in contrast to bare surfaces or heterogeneous films/unusual geometry on semiconductors including Si,Ge,and GaAs.YULIAN HE YUANSHENG WANG QINGHUI YANG HUAIWU ZHANG QIYE WEN 2021Photonics Research2021,9,11:1
