| 1 | Influence of different mining layouts on the mechanical properties of coal显示文摘Non-pillar mining,top-coal caving and protected coal seam mining are the most popular mining methods in coal exploitation,and the different mining layouts will change the stress state and failure mechanism of coal in front of the working face.In this paper,mining-induced mechanical behaviors under three mining layouts have been simulated in the laboratory to investigate the effects of mining layouts on the deformation and strength of coal.Furthermore,the coal failure mechanism under different mining layouts is analyzed microscopically.The experimental results indicate that the stage characteristics of the coal deformation are obvious.Under the serial action of non-pillar mining,top-coal caving and protected coal seam mining layouts,the values of radial deformation,volume strain and Poisson's ratio increase,while the peak strength and deformation modulus decrease at the same buried depth,and the peak strength under non-pillar mining,top-coal caving and protected coal seam mining is about 3.0,2.5 and 2.0 times of the initial confining pressure,respectively.The results also indicate that the trend of the coal deformation decreases with the increase of the buried depth under the same mining layout,while the strength and deformation modulus increase,and the failure mechanism under three mining layouts is dominated with shear/tensile failure. | Xie Heping Zhao Xiaoping Liu Jianfeng Zhang Ru Xue Dongjie | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6: | 14 |

| 3 | Myeloid-specific targeting of Notch ameliorates murine renal fibrosis via reduced infiltration and activation of bone marrowderived macrophage显示文摘Macrophages play critical roles in renal fibrosis.However,macrophages exhibit ontogenic and functional heterogeneities,and which population of macrophages contributes to renal fibrosis and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.In this study,we genetically targeted Notch signaling by disrupting the transcription factor recombination signal binding protein-JK(RBP-J),to reveal its role in regulation of macrophages during the unilateral ureteral obstruction(UUO)-induced murine renal fibrosis.Myeloid-specific disruption of RBP-J attenuated renal fibrosis with reduced extracellular matrix deposition and myofibroblast activation,as well as attenuated epithelial-mesenchymal transition,likely owing to the reduced expression of TGF-β.Mean while,RBP-J deletion significantly hampered macrophage infiltration and activation in fibrotic kidney,although their proliferation appeared unaltered.By using macrophage clearance experiment,we found that kidney resident macrophages made negligible contribution,but bone marrow(BM)-derived macrophages played a major role in renal fibrogenesis.Further mechanistic analyses showed that Notch blockade reduced monocyte emigration from BM by down-regulating CCR2 expression.Finally,we found that myeloid-specific Notch activation aggravated renal fibrosis,which was mediated by CCR2^+macrophages infiltration.In summary,our data have unveiled that myeloid-specific targeting of Notch could ameliorate renal fibrosis by regulating BM-derived macrophages recruitment and activation,providing a novel strategy for intervention of this disease. | Yali Jiang Yuanyuan Wang Pengfei Ma Dongjie An Junlong Zhao Shiqian Liang Yuchen Ye Yingying Lu Peng Zhang Xiaowei Liu Hua Han Hongyan Qin | 2019 | Protein & Cell2019,10,3: | 10 |

| 10 | Molten hydroxide for detoxification of chlorine-containing waste: Unraveling chlorine retention efficiency and chlorine salt enrichment显示文摘Hazardous waste dechlorination reduces the potential of creating dioxins during the incineration process. To investigate the salt effect on waste dechlorination, molten hydroxides with a low melting temperature were utilized for the pre-dechlorination and decomposition of chlorine-containing organic wastes(COWs) including trichlorobenzene(TCB),perchloroethylene, hexachlorobenzene and chlordane. The results showed that a eutectic mixture of caustic sodium and potassium hydroxides(41 wt.% NaOH and 59 wt.% KOH) led to a low melting point below 300°C and a relatively high chlorine retention efficiency(CRE) with TCB as a representative COWs. The amounts of hydroxides, reaction time, and temperature all had notable influence on CRE. When the mass ratio of hydroxides to TCB reached 30:1,approximately 98.1% of the TCB was destroyed within 2.5 hr at 300°C with CRE of 71.6%.According to the residue analysis, the shapes of reaction residues were irregular with particles becoming swollen and porous. The benzene ring and C–Cl bonds disappeared, while carboxyl groups formed in the residues. The stripped chlorine was retained and condensed to form chloride salts, and the relative abundance of the chloride ions associated with the mass of TCB in residues increased from 0 to 75.0% within the 2.5 hr reaction time. The observed concentration of dioxins in residues was 5.6 ngTEQ/kg. A reaction pathway and possible additional reactions that occur in this dechlorination system were proposed. | 11 | Targeting a novel inducible GPX4 alternative isoform to alleviate ferroptosis and treat metabolic-associated fatty liver disease显示文摘Metabolic-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD),which is previously known as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),represents a major health concern worldwide with limited therapy.Here,we provide evidence that ferroptosis,a novel form of regulated cell death characterized by iron-driven lipid peroxidation,was comprehensively activated in liver tissues from MAFLD patients.The canonical-GPX4(cGPX4),which is the most important negative controller of ferroptosis,is downregulated at protein but not mRNA level.Interestingly,a non-canonical GPX4 transcript-variant is induced(inducible-GPX4,iGPX4)in MAFLD condition.The high fat-fructose/sucrose diet(HFFD)and methionine/choline-deficient diet(MCD)-induced MAFLD pathologies,including hepatocellular ballooning,steatohepatitis andfibrosis,were attenuated and aggravated,respectively,in cGPX4-and iGPX4-knockin mice.cGPX4 and iGPX4 isoforms also displayed opposing effects on oxidative stress and ferroptosis in hepatocytes.Knockdown of iGPX4 by siRNA alleviated lipid stress,ferroptosis and cell injury.Mechanistically,the triggered iGPX4 interacts with cGPX4 to facilitate the transformation of cGPX4 from enzymatic-active monomer to enzymatic-inactive oligomers upon lipid stress,and thus promotes ferroptosis.Co-immunoprecipitation and nano LC–MS/MS analyses confirmed the interaction between iGPX4 and cGPX4.Our results reveal a detrimental role of non-canonical GPX4 isoform in ferroptosis,and indicate selectively targeting iGPX4 may be a promising therapeutic strategy for MAFLD. | Jie Tong Dongjie Li Hongbo Meng Diyang Sun Xiuting Lan Min Ni Jiawei Ma Feiyan Zeng Sijia Sun Jiangtao Fu Guoqiang Li Qingxin Ji Guoyan Zhang Qirui Shen Yuanyuan Wang Jiahui Zhu Yi Zhao Xujie Wang Yi Liu Shenxi Ouyang Chunquan Sheng Fuming Shen Pei Wang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,9: | 3 |

| 14 | Percutaneous local tumor ablation vs. stereotactic body radiotherapy for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer: a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background:Percutaneous local tumor ablation(LTA)and stereotactic body radiotherapy(SBRT)have been regarded as viable treatments for early-stage lung cancer patients.The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of LTA with SBRT for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:PubMed,Embase,Cochrane library,Ovid,Google scholar,CNKI,and CBMdisc were searched to identify potential eligible studies comparing the efficacy and safety of LTA with SBRT for early-stage NSCLC published between January 1,1991,and May 31,2021.Hazard ratios(HRs)or odds ratios(ORs)with 95%confidence intervals(CIs)were applied to estimate the effect size for overall survival(OS),progression-free survival(PFS),locoregional progression(LP),and adverse events.Results:Five studies with 22,231 patients were enrolled,including 1443 patients in the LTA group and 20,788 patients in the SBRT group.The results showed that SBRT was not superior to LTA for OS(HR=1.03,95%CI:0.87-1.22,P=0.71).Similar results were observed for PFS(HR=1.09,95%CI:0.71-1.67,P=0.71)and LP(HR=0.66,95%CI:0.25-1.77,P=0.70).Subgroup analysis showed that the pooled HR for OS favored SBRT in patients with tumors sized>2 cm(HR=1.32,95%CI:1.14-1.53,P=0.0003),whereas there was no significant difference in patients with tumors sized≤2 cm(HR=0.93,95%CI:0.64-1.35,P=0.70).Moreover,no significant differences were observed for the incidence of severe adverse events(≥grade 3)(OR=1.95,95%CI:0.63-6.07,P=0.25)between the LTA group and SBRT group.Conclusions:Compared with SBRT,LTA appears to have similar OS,PFS,and LP.However,for tumors>2 cm,SBRT is superior to LTA in OS.Prospective randomized controlled trials are required to determine such findings. | Dongjie Chen Man Zhao Xiaoyong Xiang Jun Liang | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,13: | 1 |

| 20 | Data Augmentation Technology Driven By Image Style Transfer in Self-Driving Car Based on End-to-End Learning显示文摘With the advent of deep learning,self-driving schemes based on deep learning are becoming more and more popular.Robust perception-action models should learn from data with different scenarios and real behaviors,while current end-to-end model learning is generally limited to training of massive data,innovation of deep network architecture,and learning in-situ model in a simulation environment.Therefore,we introduce a new image style transfer method into data augmentation,and improve the diversity of limited data by changing the texture,contrast ratio and color of the image,and then it is extended to the scenarios that the model has been unobserved before.Inspired by rapid style transfer and artistic style neural algorithms,we propose an arbitrary style generation network architecture,including style transfer network,style learning network,style loss network and multivariate Gaussian distribution function.The style embedding vector is randomly sampled from the multivariate Gaussian distribution and linearly interpolated with the embedded vector predicted by the input image on the style learning network,which provides a set of normalization constants for the style transfer network,and finally realizes the diversity of the image style.In order to verify the effectiveness of the method,image classification and simulation experiments were performed separately.Finally,we built a small-sized smart car experiment platform,and apply the data augmentation technology based on image style transfer drive to the experiment of automatic driving for the first time.The experimental results show that:(1)The proposed scheme can improve the prediction accuracy of the end-to-end model and reduce the model’s error accumulation;(2)the method based on image style transfer provides a new scheme for data augmentation technology,and also provides a solution for the high cost that many deep models rely heavily on a large number of label data. | Dongjie Liu Jin Zhao Axin Xi Chao Wang Xinnian Huang Kuncheng Lai Chang Liu | 2020 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,2: | 1 |
