| 2 | Electrochemical performance of MCMB/(AC+LiFePO_4) lithium-ion capacitors显示文摘Lithium-ion capacitors(LICs) were fabricated using mesocarbon microbeads(MCMB) as a negative electrode and a mixture of activated carbon(AC) and LiFePO4 as a positive electrode(abbreviated as LAC).The phase structure and morphology of LAC samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM).The electrochemical performance of the LICs was studied using cyclic voltammetry,charge-discharge rate measurements,and cycle performance testing.A LIC with 30 wt% LiFePO4 was found to have the best electrochemical performance with a specific energy density of 69.02 W h kg-1 remaining at 4 C rate after 100 cycles.Compared with an AC-only positive electrode system,the ratio of practical capacity to theoretical calculated capacity of the LICs was enhanced from 42.22% to 56.59%.It was proved that adding LiFePO4 to AC electrodes not only increased the capacity of the positive electrode,but also improved the electrochemical performances of the whole LICs via Li+ pre-doping. | PING LiNa ZHENG JiaMing SHI ZhiQiang QI Jie WANG ChengYang | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,6: | 12 |

| 8 | Clinical effects of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture on neurological impairment following cerebral infarction显示文摘BACKGROUND: Although the curative effects of acupuncture have been confirmed by various treatments of cerebral infarction, few studies have investigated when acupuncture can attain the best clinical effect. OBJECTIVE: Four different time points were selected for acupuncture treatment of cerebral infarction to evaluate the appropriate time course for Xingnao Kaiqiao therapy in terms of improved neurological function. DESIGN: Controlled observation. SETTING: Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy of the Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Chinese Armed Police Forces. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 120 inpatients with cerebral infarction of different stages, including 75 males and 45 females, aged 41-75 years, were selected from November 2005 to December 2006 at the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy in Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Chinese Armed Police Forces. Diagnostic criteria: in accordance with 'main points of diagnosis on different cerebrovascular disease' secondly revised in the Second Cerebrovascular Disease Academic Meeting of Chinese Medicine Association in 1986. All accepted subjects provided confirmed consent, and the experiment received ethical permission from the hospital’s ethics committee. METHODS: ① Experiment grouping: All inpatients were divided into four groups with non-stochastic concurrent control method according to the disease course: Group I (onset within 7 hours), group Ⅱ (onset from 7 hours to 3 days), group Ⅲ (onset within 4-7 days), and group Ⅳ (onset within 21-180 days). On the basis of symptomatic treatment with western medicine, each group received Xingnao Kaiqiao therapy after onset within 7 hours, 7 hours to 3 days, 4 to 7days, and 21 to 180 days. ② The principal acupoints were Neiguan, Renzhong, and Sanyinjiao. ③ The auxiliary acupoints were Jiquan, Chize, and Weizhong. ④Acupuncture manipulations: initially, Neiguan (PC6, bilateral) was needled at 0.5-1.0 cun vertically with a reducing technique achieved by rotating-swirling and lifting-inserting for 1 minute. Subsequently, Renzhong (GV26) was needled at 0.3-0.5 cun obliquely towards the nasal septum, with a heavy bird-pecking method until eyeballs were moist or shed tears. Sanyinjiao (SP6, affected limb) was needled at 1.0-1.5 cun obliquely along the medial border of the tibia with a 45° angle between the needle and skin. The technique of reinforcing was achieved by a lifting-inserting method until the affected lower limb twitched three times. The auxiliary acupoint, Jiquan, was selected when the patient extended the affected upper limb abduction. Jiquan was along the downward channel, 1 cun from the quondam Jiquan (HT1) acupoint; the armpit hair was avoided. Jiquan (affected limb) was needled vertically at 1.0-1.5 cun. The technique of reduction was achieved by lifting-inserting until the affected upper limb twitched three times. Chize (LU5) was selected when the patient flexed the elbow at 120°. Chize was vertically needled at 1 cun with a lifting-inserting reducing technique until the affected forearm and fingers twitched three times. Weizhong (BL40) was selected when the patient’s leg was raised straight in a supine position. Weizhong was vertically needled at 0.5-1.0 cun with a lifting-inserting reducing technique until the affected lower limb twitched three times. ⑤ Acupuncture manipulations were achieved by the doctor who is an associate chief physician and doctor of acupuncture and moxibustion and has aptitude for the post’s specification. ⑥One course of treatment lasted for 10 days and each group was treated for two courses of treatment. ⑦Experiment evaluation: To apply neurological impairment scores for evaluating clinical curative effects before and after treatment with Xingnao Kaiqiao therapy on day 7, 14, and 21(range of 0-45; decreasing score indicates functional improvement).To evaluate clinical curative effect by clinical effective power:Basic recovery: equal to ormore than 81%; significant improvement: 56% to 81% (including 56%); Improvement: between 36% to 56% (including 36%); Slight Improvement: 11% to 36% (including 11%); No change: less than 11%; Aggravation (including death): negative value. Total effective rate was computed at the same time. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The total effective rate and amelioration of neurological impairment of the patients after treatment. RESULTS: All 120 patients with cerebral infarction were included in the final analysis, without deletion. ① Comparison of the total effective rate: the total effective rate of group Ⅰ, group Ⅱ, group Ⅲ, and group Ⅳ was 97%, 93%, 93%, and 67%, respectively. There were significant differences of interclass synthetic curative effects (χ2 = 36.351 7, P < 0.01). ② Amelioration of neurological impairment: A decreased neurological impairment score was observed in group I on day 7, 14, and 21 after Xingnao Kaiqiao therapy. The differences between group IV and the remaining three groups were significant (P < 0.05). Methods: Preoperative patients (aged 6~12 years) were divided into two study groups: the topical aneasthesia group (n=22), and the general aneasthesia group (n=21). The study groups were compared on the following measures:.analgesic effect, surgical correction effect, eye-heart reflex, preoperative preparation time. and operation time, using t-tests or X2 tests where appropriate. Results:.Compared with the general aneasthesia group, the topical aneasthesia group gained better surgical correction results(P<0.05), had a lower rate of eye-heart reflex (P<0.05), and had a shorter preoperative preparation time (P<0.001). No significant difference was observed between the groups in terms of the analgesic effect or operation time (P>0.05). By introducing a new fractional-order Proportional-Derivative(PD) feedback controller, this paper aims to control the stability and Hopf bifurcation through adjusting the control gain parameters. The order chosen in PD controller is different with that of the integer-order neuron system. Sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the stability and generating Hopf bifurcation are constructed for the controlled neuron system. | 17 | Analysis of the typhoon wave distribution simulated in WAVEWATCH-Ⅲ model in the context of Kuroshio and wind-induced current显示文摘To investigate the relationship between surface currents and wave distributions in typhoons,we took the Typhoon Talim in 2017 as a case,and found that the track of the typhoon winds up to 50 m/s was almost consistent with the Kuroshio track,particularly from September 13 to 16,2017.The surface current data,derived from the NCEP Climate Forecast System Version 2(CFSv2)from the National Center of Atmospheric Research(NCAR),revealed that the speed of the wind-induced current exceeded that of the Kuroshio in the region with the maximum wind speed.In this study,was utilized a third-generation numeric wave model,WAVEWATCH-Ⅲ(the latest version 5.16),developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA),to simulate the wave fields of Typhoon Talim using the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)reanalysis wind data in 0.125°×0.125°grid as the forcing field.We found that the root-mean-square error(RMSE)of the significant wave height(SWH)was 0.34 m when validated against measurements from altimeter Jason-2.In addition,we discovered that the SWH had a similar tendency to the change in the surface current speed that was approximately 0.5 m/s at the beginning of Typhoon Talim.However,the relationship became weak as the surface current speed was below 0.2 m/s.Our findings show that the distribution of typhoon waves is resulted from the interaction of surface current and the wind-sea portion of the wave system,since the distribution pattern of wind-sea is consistent with the surface current,and there is a weak relationship between surface current and swell. | HU Yuyi SHAO Weizeng SHI Jian SUN Jian JI Qiyan CAI Lina | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,6: | 2 |

| 19 | Heat stress alleviation for dairy cows housed in an open-sided barn by cooling fan and perforated air ducting(PAD)system显示文摘Curtain-sided barns with circulation fans above stall are commonly used to house dairy cows in China.Many farms equipped with circulation fans are unable to provide appropriate cooling,especially for the naturally ventilated shed,which can result in decreasing feed intake and milk production.For alleviating heat stress and improving animal comfort,a system consisting of an air cooler and a 30 m perforated air duct(PAD)was integrated to evenly distribute cooling air.The air was cooled by underground water and delivered to targeted zones above stall bed.The system was evaluated in an open sided dairy barn in Tianjin,China.For the stalls equipped with PAD system,air velocity reached above 1.1 m/s at 0.5 m height plane of the stall space,and was more uniformly distributed.Compared to the stalls equipped with circulation fans,the PAD system lowered air temperature by 1.5℃,and increased relative humidity by 8.1%.On average,Temperature Humidity Index(THI)and Equivalent Temperature Index(ETI)were decreased by 0.5 and 0.6,respectively.After a 15 days’operation of the system,rectal temperatures of the treated dairy cows were significantly lowered.The results also showed that the cows under PADs had a higher milk production.These findings suggest the PAD can be an effective cooling alternative for naturally ventilated dairy barns to alleviate heat stress. | Xie Lina Wang Chaoyuan Ding Luyu Gui Zhiyuan Zhang Lu Shi Zhengxiang Li Baoming Jia Chuntao | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,6: | 2 |
