1Preparation of calcium sulfate whiskers from FGD gypsum via hydrothermal crystallization in the H_2SO_4-NaCl-H_2O system显示文摘Little attention has thus far been paid to the potential effect of solution composition on the hydrothermal crystallization of calcium sulfate whiskers prepared from flue-gas desulfurization(FGD) gypsum.When purified FGD gypsum was used as raw material,the morphology and phase structure of the hydrothermal products grown in pure water,H_2SO_4-H_2O,NaCl-H_2O,and H_2SO_4-NaCl-H_2O solutions as well as the solubility of purified FGD gypsum in these solutions were investigated.The results indicate that calcium sulfate whiskers grow favorably in the H_2SO_4-NaCl-H_2O system.When prepared using 10-70 g NaCl/kg gypsum-0.01 M H_2SO_4-H_2O at 130 ℃ for 60 min,the obtained calcium sulfate whiskers had diameters ranging from 3 to 5 |xm and lengths from 200 to 600 |xm,and their phase structure was calcium sulfate hemihydrate(HH).Opposing effects of sulfuric acid and sodium chloride on the solubility of the purified FGD gypsum were observed.With the co-presence of sulfuric acid and sodium chloride in the reaction solution,the concentrations of Ca^(2+) and SO_4^(2-) can be kept relatively stable,which implies that the crystallization of the hydrothermal products can be controlled by changing the concentrations of sulfuric acid and sodium chloride.Xiao Wang Liushuan Yang Xinfeng Zhu Jiakuan Yang 2014Particuology2014,12,6:34
2Future of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 applications: Combinations with other therapeutic regimens显示文摘Programmed cell death 1(PD-1)/programmed cell death 1 ligand(PD-L1) blockade has shown promising effects in cancer immunotherapy. Removing the so-called 'brakes' on T cell immune responses by blocking the PD-1/PDL1 check point should boost anti-tumor immunity and provide durable tumor regression for cancer patients.However, 30%–60% of patients show no response to PD-1/PD-L1 blockade. Thus, it is urgent to explore the underlying resistance mechanisms to improve sensitivity to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapy. We propose that the mechanisms promoting resistance mainly include T cell exclusion or exhaustion at the tumor site,immunosuppressive factors in the tumor microenvironment(TME), and a range of tumor-intrinsic factors. This review highlights the power of studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms of resistance to improve the rational design of combination therapeutic strategies that can be translated to the clinic. 3Speciation with gene flow via cycles of isolation and migration:insights from multiple mangrove taxa显示文摘Allopatric speciation requiring an unbroken period of geographical isolation has been the standard model of neo-Darwinism. While doubts have been repeatedly raised, strict allopatry without any gene flow remains a plausible mechanism in most cases. To rigorously reject strict allopatry, genomic sequences superimposed on the geological records of a well-delineated geographical barrier are necessary. The Strait of Malacca,narrowly connecting the Pacific and Indian Ocean coasts, serves at different times either as a geographical barrier or a conduit of gene flow for coastal/marine species. We surveyed 1700 plants from 29 populations of 5 common mangrove species by large-scale DNA sequencing and added several whole-genome assemblies. Speciation between the two oceans is driven by cycles of isolation and gene flow due to the fluctuations in sea level leading to the opening/closing of the Strait to ocean currents. Because the time required for speciation in mangroves is longer than the isolation phases, speciation in these mangroves has proceeded through many cycles of mixing-isolation-mixing, or MIM, cycles. The MIM mechanism, by relaxing the condition of no gene flow, can promote speciation in many more geographical features than strict allopatry can. 4Review of Hydrogen Embrittlement in Metals: Hydrogen Diffusion, Hydrogen Characterization, Hydrogen Embrittlement Mechanism and Prevention显示文摘Hydrogen dissolved in metals as a result of internal and external hydrogen can affect the mechanical properties of the metals, principally through the interactions between hydrogen and material defects. Multiple phenomena such as hydrogen dissolution, hydrogen diffusion, hydrogen redistribution and hydrogen interactions with vacancies, dislocations, grain boundaries and other phase interfaces are involved in this process. Consequently, several hydrogen embrittlement(HE) mechanisms have been successively proposed to explain the HE phenomena, with the hydrogen-enhanced decohesion mechanism, hydrogenenhanced localized plasticity mechanism and hydrogen-enhanced strain-induced vacancies being some of the most important. Additionally, to reduce the risk of HE for engineering structural materials in service, surface treatments and microstructural optimization of the alloys have been suggested. In this review, we report on the progress of the studies on HE in metals, with a particular focus on steels. It focuses on four aspects:(1) hydrogen diffusion behavior;(2) hydrogen characterization methods;(3) HE mechanisms;and(4) the prevention of HE. 5Olfactory ecto-mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes ameliorate murine Sjögren’s syndrome by modulating the function of myeloid-derived suppressor cells显示文摘Sjögren’s syndrome(SS)is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by progressive inflammation and tissue damage in salivary glands and lacrimal glands.Our previous studies showed that myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)exhibited impaired immunosuppressive function during disease progression in patients with SS and mice with experimental Sjögren’s syndrome(ESS),but it remains unclear whether restoring the function of MDSCs can effectively ameliorate the development of ESS.In this study,we found that murine olfactory ecto-mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes(OE-MSC-Exos)significantly enhanced the suppressive function of MDSCs by upregulating arginase expression and increasing ROS and NO levels.Moreover,treatment with OE-MSC-Exos via intravenous injection markedly attenuated disease progression and restored MDSC function in ESS mice.Mechanistically,OE-MSC-Exo-secreted IL-6 activated the Jak2/Stat3 pathway in MDSCs.In addition,the abundant S100A4 in OE-MSC-Exos acted as a key factor in mediating the endogenous production of IL-6 by MDSCs via TLR4 signaling,indicating an autocrine pathway of MDSC functional modulation by IL-6.Taken together,our results demonstrated that OE-MSC-Exos possess therapeutic potential to attenuate ESS progression by enhancing the immunosuppressive function of MDSCs,possibly constituting a new strategy for the treatment of Sjögren’s syndrome and other autoimmune diseases.Ke Rui Yue Hong Qiugang Zhu Xiaofei Shi Fan Xiao Hailong Fu Qing Yin Yida Xing Xinfeng Wu Xiaodan Kong Huaxi Xu Jie Tian Shengjun Wang Liwei Lu 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:12
6Microstructure and Oxidation Behaviors of Nano-particles Strengthened NiCoCrAlY Cladded Coatings on Superalloys显示文摘Nano-particles which can largely improve the microstructure and oxidation resistance of materials are often used as a strengthening component in metal matrix composites. However, few studies were reported on its application in the bond coat of duplex structure thermal barrier coating(TBC). Three kinds of NiCoCrAlY coatings strengthened by different nano-particles with the same addition (1%, mass fraction) were prepared by the laser cladding technique on Ni-based superalloy substrates, aiming to study the effects of the nano-particles on microstructure and oxidation resistance of NiCoCrAlY coatings (the bond coat of the duplex structure thermal barrier coatings). Scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffractometer(XRD) and thermogravimetry were employed to investigate their morphologies, phases and cyclic oxidation behaviors in atmosphere at 1 050℃, compared with the coating without nano-particles. With the addition of nano-particles, the growth pattern of the grains at the interface changed from epitaxial growth to non-epitaxial growth or part-epitaxial growth; slender dendrites were broken and cellularized; cracks and pores were restrained; and the oxidation weight-gain and the stripping resistance of the oxide scale were improved as well. Among the three kinds of nano-particles, the SiC nano-particles showed the most improvement on microstructure, while the CeO2 nano-particles were insufficient, but its effects on the oxidation resistance are the same as those of the SiC nano-particles. 7Understanding unusually high levels of peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN) in winter in Urban Jinan,China显示文摘Peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN), as a major secondary pollutant, has gained increasing worldwide attentions, but relevant studies in China are still quite limited. During winter of 2015 to summer of 2016, the ambient levels of PAN were measured continuously by an automatic gas chromatograph equipped with an electron capture detector(GC–ECD) analyzer at an urban site in Jinan(China), with related parameters including concentrations of O3, NO, NO_2, PM_(2.5), HONO,the photolysis rate constant of NO_2 and meteorological factors observed concurrently. The mean and maximum values of PAN concentration were(1.89 ± 1.42) and 9.61 ppbv respectively in winter, and(2.54 ± 1.44) and 13.47 ppbv respectively in summer. Unusually high levels of PAN were observed during severe haze episodes in winter, and the formation mechanisms of them were emphatically discussed. Study showed that high levels of PAN in winter were mainly caused by local accumulation and strong photochemical reactions during haze episodes, while mass transport played only a minor role. Accelerated photochemical reactions(compared to winter days without haze) during haze episodes were deduced by the higher concentrations but shorter lifetimes of PAN, which was further supported by the sufficient solar radiation in the photolysis band along with the high concentrations of precursors(NO_2, VOCs) and HONO during haze episodes. 8Performance of pond–wetland complexes as a preliminary processor of drinking water sources显示文摘Shijiuyang Constructed Wetland(110 hm^2) is a drinking water source treatment wetland with primary structural units of ponds and plant-bed/ditch systems. The wetland can process about 250,000 tonnes of source water in the Xincheng River every day and supplies raw water for Shijiuyang Drinking Water Plant. Daily data for 28 months indicated that the major water quality indexes of source water had been improved by one grade. The percentage increase for dissolved oxygen and the removal rates of ammonia nitrogen, iron and manganese were 73.63%, 38.86%, 35.64%, and 22.14% respectively. The treatment performance weight of ponds and plant-bed/ditch systems was roughly equal but they treated different pollutants preferentially. Most water quality indexes had better treatment efficacy with increasing temperature and inlet concentrations. These results revealed that the pond–wetland complexes exhibited strong buffering capacity for source water quality improvement. The treatment cost of Shijiuyang Drinking Water Plant was reduced by about 30.3%. Regional rainfall significantly determined the external river water levels and adversely deteriorated the inlet water quality, thus suggesting that the 'hidden' diffuse pollution in the multitudinous stream branches as well as their catchments should be the controlling emphases for river source water protection in the future. The combination of pond and plant-bed/ditch systems provides a successful paradigm for drinking water source pretreatment. 9Molecular heterogeneity of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy efficacy is correlated with tumor immune microenvironment in East Asian patients with non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate how the tumor immune microenvironment differs regarding tumor genomics,as well as its impact on prognoses and responses to immunotherapy in East Asian patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:We performed an integrated analysis using publicly available data to identify associations between anti-programmed death 1(PD-1)/programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)immunotherapy efficacy and classic driver oncogene mutations in East Asian NSCLC patients.Four pooled and clinical cohort analyses were used to correlate driver oncogene mutation status and tumor microenvironment based on PD-L1 and CD8+tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs).Immune infiltrating patterns were also established for genomic NSCLC subgroups using the CIBERSORT algorithm.Results:Based on East Asian NSCLC patients,TIDE analyses revealed that for anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy,epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)-mutant and anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)-rearranged tumors yielded inferior responses;however,although Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog(KRAS)-mutant tumors responded better,the difference was not statistically significant(EGFR:P=0.037;ALK:P<0.001;KRAS:P=0.701).Pooled and clinical cohort analyses demonstrated tumor immune microenvironment heterogeneities correlated with oncogenic patterns.The results showed remarkably higher PD-L1-and TIL-positive KRAS-mutant tumors,suggesting KRAS mutations may drive an inflammatory phenotype with adaptive immune resistance.However,the EGFR-mutant or ALK-rearranged groups showed a remarkably higher proportion of PD-L1-/TIL-tumors,suggesting an uninflamed phenotype with immunological ignorance.Notably,similar to triple wild-type NSCLC tumors,EGFR L858R-mutant tumors positively correlated with an inflammatory phenotype,suggesting responsiveness to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy(P<0.05).Furthermore,the CIBERSORT algorithm results revealed that EGFR-mutant and ALK-rearranged tumors were characterized by an enriched resting memory CD4+T cell population(P<0.001),as well as a lack of CD8+T cells(P<0.01),and activated memory CD4+T cells(P=0.001).Conclusions:Our study highlighted the complex relationships between immune heterogeneity and immunotherapeutic responses in East Asian NSCLC patients regarding oncogenic dependence.Runsen Jin Chengming Liu Sufei Zheng Xinfeng Wang Xiaoli Feng Hecheng Li Nan Sun Jie He 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3:10

11Strong ozone production at a rural site in the North China Plain: Mixed effects of urban plumes and biogenic emissions显示文摘Regional ozone(O_3) pollution has drawn increasing attention in China over the recent decade, but the contributions from urban pollution and biogenic emissions have not been clearly elucidated. To better understand the formation of the regional O_3 problem in the North China Plain(NCP), intensive field measurements of O_3 and related parameters were conducted at a rural site downwind of Ji'nan, the capital city of Shandong province, in the summer of 2013. Markedly severe O_3 pollution was recorded, with the O_3 mixing ratios exceeding the Chinese national ambient air quality standard on 28 days(a frequency of 78%) and with a maximum hourly value of 198 ppbv. Extensive regional transport of wellprocessed urban plumes to the site was identified. An observation-constrained chemical box model was deployed to evaluate in situ photochemical O_3 production on two episodes.The results show that the in situ formation accounted for approximately 46% of the observed O_3 accumulation, while the remainder(~54%) was contributed by regional transport of the O_3-laden urban plumes. The in situ ozone production was in a mixed controlled regime that reducing either NOx or VOCs would lead to a reduction of ozone formation. Biogenic VOCs played an important role in the local ozone formation. 12First observation of Karlodinium venef icum from the East China Sea and the coastal waters of Germany显示文摘Harmful algal blooms often occurred in the East China Sea (ECS) and the German coastal waters of the North Sea but Karlodinium veneficum had not been taxonomically reported. Two strains of Karlodinium (LAMB090611 and LAMB010601) were isolated from the two areas in 2009. The morphological characteristics and molecular phylogeny of two strains are compared on the basis of observation of a light microscope, a scanning electron microscope (SEM), a laser scanning micro-scope (LSM) and an internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequence data. The mean cell length of strain LAMB090611 is (14.2 ± 1.8) μm (range 11.1-18.7 μm) and mean width is (10.8 ± 1.5) μm (range 8.2- 14.7 μm). The mean cell length of strain LAMB010601 is (15.1 ± 1.2) μm (range 12.7-17.9 μm) and the mean width is (11.4 ± 1.1) μm (range 9.1-14.7 μm), respectively. The two strains are similar in morphological characteristics, including a straight apical groove, distinct ventral pore, sulcal extension, cingulum displacement, two or four irregular shaped chloroplasts within the cell and almost equal sized epicone and hypocone. The large and round nucleus is located at the center or at the hypocone of the cell. The sequence length of the ECS strain LAMB090611 and the German strain LAMB010601 is 640 and 646 bp, respectively. The GC content is 49%. The nucleotide similarity of the two strains is 98.1%. The sequence divergence is 0.003. Both strains are confirmed as Karlo-dinium veneficum (D. Ballantine) J. Larsen and this is the first taxonomic report from China and Germany coastal waters. 14INTERVENTIONAI DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF VASCULOGENEIC PULSATILE TINNITUS显示文摘Objective To retrospectively study clinical features and diagnostic imaging of vasculogeneic pulsatile tinnitus, and the feasibility and efficacy of transvascular interventional treatment for this condition. Methods Data from 82 cases of arterial or venous pulsatile tinnitus were reviewed. DSA characteristics and possible pathophysiological mechanisms of pulsatile tinnitus in these cases were studied. Diagnoses in this group included intracranial arterovenous fistula(AVF)(n=3), spontaneous skull base dural AVF(n=16), traumatic carotid-cavernous sinus fistula(n=5), subclavian artery stenosis(n=2), internal carotid artery stenosis(n=3), intracranial arterial stenosis(n=1), kinked and/or elongated vertebrobasilar artery(n=2), venous sinus diverticulum(n=2), venous sinus stenosis on the dominant drainage side(n=46) and occipital sinus stenosis(n=2).Treatments included embolization and stenting using coils, NBCA glue, Balt balloons, self-expansion stents and intracranial micro-stents via either the femoral artery or femoral vein. Results Procedures were successful in all cases with no surgery-related complications. Tinnitus disappeared within 2 days after the procedure in all cases. Follow up duration was 5-36 months. Recurrence occurred in 4 cases of arterial tinnitus within 3 months following the initial procedure, which improved after revision embolization or symptom management. There was no recurrence in venous tinnitus cases following stent plastic or stent-coiling embolization treatments. Conclusions Endovascular intervention provides a new approach to the diagnosis and treatment of intractable pulsatile tinnitus. 15Controllable synthesis of Ni/NiO@porous carbon hybrid composites towards remarkable electromagnetic wave absorption and wide absorption bandwidth显示文摘The reasonable design of the composition of the composite materials is of great significance to optimized the electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption performance.Herein,the Ni/NiO@C hybrid composites with tunable Ni proportion were successfully synthesized through a two-step process.With the assistance of X-ray diffraction with refinement treatment,the specific proportion of Ni of as-obtained hybrid composites could be obtained.Employing controlling calcination time to adjust the Ni content of Ni/NiO@C hybrid composites,it has been found that the composite carbonized at 500℃exhibited remarkable EM wave absorption with the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of-49.1 dB at 4.9 mm and the widest effective absorption bandwidth(EABmax)of 4.56 GHz at 2.1 mm.Moreover,by adjusting the Ni source,the optimal EM wave absorption performance could be achieved.Results illustrated that the N3PC with the Ni proportion of 13.17%showed the RLm inas low as-51.1 dB at 2.4 mm and the EABmax was 5.12 GHz at 2.7 mm.It is worth noting that this work demonstrates the relevance of the composition and EM wave absorption performance of hybrid composites,which offers a feasible reference for the absorption mechanism of absorber.Xinfeng Zhou Zirui Jia Xingxue Zhang Bingbing Wang Wei Wu Xuehua Liu Binghui Xu Guanglei Wu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,28:5
16NEDD9 promotes cancer stemness by recruiting myeloid-derived suppressor cells via CXCL8 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Objective:Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)has high morbidity and mortality rates worldwide.Cancer stem cells(CSCs)may cause tumor initiation,metastasis,and recurrence and are also responsible for chemotherapy and radiotherapy failures.Myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs),in contrast,are known to be involved in mediating immunosuppression.Here,we aimed to investigate the mechanisms of interaction of CSCs and MDSCs in the tumor microenvironment.Methods:ESCC tissues and cell lines were evaluated.Neural precursor cell expressed,developmentally downregulated 9(NEDD9)was knocked down and overexpressed by lentiviral transfection.Quantitative PCR,Western blot,immunohistochemistry,cell invasion,flow cytometry,cell sorting,multiplex chemokine profiling,and tumor growth analyses were performed.Results:Microarray analysis revealed 10 upregulated genes in esophageal CSCs.Only NEDD9 was upregulated in CSCs using the sphere-forming method.NEDD9 expression was correlated with tumor invasion(P=0.0218),differentiation(P=0.0153),and poor prognosis(P=0.0373).Additionally,NEDD9 was required to maintain the stem-like phenotype.Screening of chemokine expression in ESCC cells with NEDD9 overexpression and knockdown showed that NEDD9 regulated C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 8(CXCL8)expression via the ERK pathway.CXCL8 mediated the recruitment of MDSCs induced by NEDD9 in vitro and in vivo.MDSCs promoted the stemness of ESCC cells through NEDD9 via the Notch pathway.Conclusions:As a marker of ESCC,NEDD9 maintained the stemness of ESCC cells and regulated CXCL8 through the ERK pathway to recruit MDSCs into the tumor,suggesting NEDD9 as a therapeutic target and novel prognostic marker for ESCC.Dongli Yue Shasha Liu Tengfei Zhang Yong Wang Guohui Qin Xinfeng Chen Huanyu Zhang Dong Wang Lan Huang Feng Wang Liping Wang Song Zhao Yi Zhang 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:4
17KRAS-G12D mutation drives immune suppression and the primary resistance of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Background:Although immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)against programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)and its ligand PD-L1 have demonstrated potency towards treating patients with non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC),the potential association between Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog(KRAS)oncogene substitutions and the efficacy of ICIs remains unclear.In this study,we aimed to find point mutations in the KRAS gene resistant to ICIs and elucidate resistance mechanism.Methods:The association between KRAS variant status and the efficacy of ICIs was explored with a clinical cohort(n=74),and confirmed with a mouse model.In addition,the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME)of KRASmutant NSCLC,such as CD8+tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)and PD-L1 level,was investigated.Cell lines expressing classic KRAS substitutions were used to explore signaling pathway activation involved in the formation of TIME.Furthermore,interventions that improved TIME were developed to increase responsiveness to ICIs.Results:We observed the inferior efficacy of ICIs in KRAS-G12D-mutant NSCLC.Based upon transcriptome data and immunostaining results from KRAS-mutant NSCLC,KRAS-G12D point mutation negatively correlated with PD-L1 level and secretion of chemokines CXCL10/CXCL11 that led to a decrease in CD8+TILs,which in turn yielded an immunosuppressive TIME.The analysis of cell lines overexpressing classic KRAS substitutions further revealed that KRAS-G12D mutation suppressed PD-L1 level via the P70S6K/PI3K/AKT axis and reduced CXCL10/CXCL11 levels by down-regulating high mobility group protein A2(HMGA2)level.Notably,paclitaxel,a chemotherapeutic agent,upregulated HMGA2 level,and in turn,stimulated the secretion of CXCL10/CXCL11.Moreover,PD-L1 blockade combined with paclitaxel significantly suppressed tumor growth compared with PD-L1 inhibitor monotherapy in a mouse model with KRAS-G12D-mutant lung adenocarcinoma.Further analyses revealed that the combined treatment significantly enhanced the recruitment of CD8+TILs via the up-regulation of CXCL10/CXCL11 levels.Results of clinical study also revealed the superior efficacy of chemo-immunotherapy in patients with KRAS-G12D-mutant NSCLC compared with ICI monotherapy.Conclusions:Our study elucidated the molecular mechanism by which KRASG12D mutation drives immunosuppression and enhances resistance of ICIs in NSCLC.Importantly,our findings demonstrate that ICIs in combination with chemotherapy may be more effective in patients with KRAS-G12D-mutant NSCLC.Chengming Liu Sufei Zheng Zhanyu Wang Sihui Wang Xinfeng Wang Lu Yang Haiyan Xu Zheng Cao Xiaoli Feng Qi Xue Yan Wang Nan Sun Jie He 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,9:4

19Support vector machine and ROC curves for modeling of aircraft fuel consumption显示文摘To estimate the fuel consumption of a civil aircraft,we propose to use the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve to optimize a support vector machine(SVM)model.The new method and procedure has been developed to build,train,validate,and apply an SVM model.A conceptual support vector network is proposed to model fuel consumption,and the flight data collected from routes are used as the inputs to train an SVM model.During the training phase,an ROC curve is defined to evaluate the performance of the model.To validate the applicability of the trained model,a case study is developed to compare the data from an aircraft performance manual and from the implemented simulation model.The investigated aircraft in the case study is a Boeing 737-800 powered by CFM-56 engines.The comparison has shown that the trained SVM model from the proposed procedure is capable of representing a complex fuel consumption function accurately for all phases during the flight.The proposed methodology is generic,and can be extended to reliably model the fuel consumption of other types of aircraft,such as piston engine aircraft or turboprop engine aircraft.Xuhui Wang Xinfeng Chen Zhuming Bi 2015Journal of Management Analytics2015,2,1:3
20Presence of high nitryl chloride in Asian coastal environment and its impact on atmospheric photochemistry显示文摘Nitryl chloride(ClNO2)is a product of nocturnal halogen activation of nitrogen oxides and has potential to impact atmospheric photochemistry.Here we report the first observation result of ClNO2in an Asian environment.The measurements were made with a thermal decomposition chemical ionization mass spectrometer at a coastal site in southern China during late summer of 2012.A clear diurnal pattern of ClNO2was observed with nighttime 1-min average mixing ratio up to 1997 pptv,which is among the highest values ever reported in the world.The elevated ClNO2mixing ratios were observed in plumes from Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta region compared to the lower levels in maritime air.Calculations suggest that the production of chlorine atom from photolysis of ClNO2in the early morning exceeds the production of hydroxyl radical via ozone photolysis by several factors.Therefore,ClNO2plays an important role in jump-starting the atmospheric photochemistry in polluted marine boundary layer of southern China.Yee Jun Tham Chao Yan Likun Xue Qiaozhi Zha Xinfeng Wang Tao Wang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,4:3
