Stage-progressive distribution pattern of the Lungmachi black graptolitic shales from Guizhou to Chongqing, Central China显示文摘The Lungmachi Formation is widely distributed in Guizhou, Chongqing and the adjacent area. It is important for the study of Silurian biostratigraphy and shale-gas investigation. Based on those biostratigraphically well-studied sections from Guiyang to Huayingshan, we reveal the stage-progressive distribution pattern of the Lungmachi black shales. The distribution of the Lungmachi black shales in the studying area can be subdivided into four geographic belts from the south to the north, reflecting the joint effect of regional and global environmental changes. The graptolite depth zonation model was adopted herein to infer the water depth of major graptolite assemblages from the black shales. The changes in the water depth indicate two major stages. The first stage is named the transgressive distribution stage which ranged from the Persculptograptus persculptus Biozone(LM1, upper Hirnantian) to the Coronograptus cyphus Biozone(LM5, upper Rhuddanian), an interval mostly controlled by global sea-level rise. The second stage, ranging from the Demirastrites triangulatus Biozone(LM6, lower Aeronian) to the Spirograptus guerichi Biozone(LM9, lower Telychian), is named the regressive shrinking stage, during which the black shales were gradually replaced by mixed-facies or carbonate sediments from the south to the north, representing the effects of the persistent uplifting of the Central Guizhou Oldland. | CHEN Xu FAN JunXuan WANG WenHui WANG HongYan NIE HaiKuan SHI XueWen WEN ZhiDong CHEN DongYang LI WenJie | 2017 | Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,6: | 23
COVID-19: Challenges to GIS with Big Data显示文摘The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has caused more than 100,000 people infected and thousands of deaths.Currently, the number of infections and deaths is still increasing rapidly.COVID-19 seriously threatens human health, production, life, social functioning and international relations. In the fight against COVID-19,Geographic Information Systems(GIS)and big data technologies have played an important role in many aspects, including the rapid aggregation of multi-source big data, rapid visualization of epidemic information, spatial tracking of confirmed cases, prediction of regional transmission, spatial segmentation of the epidemic risk and prevention level, balancing and management of the supply and demand of material resources, and socialemotional guidance and panic elimination, which provided solid spatial information support for decision-making,measures formulation, and effectiveness assessment of COVID-19 prevention and control.GIS has developed and matured relatively quickly and has a complete technological route for data preparation, platform construction, model construction, and map production. However, for the struggle against the widespread epidemic, the main challenge is finding strategies to adjust traditional technical methods and improve speed and accuracy of information provision for social management. At the data level,in the era of big data, data no longer come mainly from the government but are gathered from more diverse enterprises. As a result, the use of GIS faces difficulties in data acquisition and the integration of heterogeneous data, which requires governments, businesses, and academic institutions to jointly promote the formulation of relevant policies. At the technical level, spatial analysis methods for big data are in the ascendancy.Currently and for a long time in the future, the development of GIS should be strengthened to form a data-driven system for rapid knowledge acquisition, which signifies ts that GIS should be used to reinforce the social operation parameterization of models and methods, especially when providing support for social management. | Chenghu Zhou Fenzhen Su Tao Pei An Zhang Yunyan Du Bin Luo Zhidong Cao Juanle Wang Wen Yuan Yunqiang Zhu Ci Song Jie Chen Jun Xu Fujia Li Ting Ma Lili Jiang Fengqin Yan Jiawei Yi Yunfeng Hu Yilan Liao Han Xiao | 2020 | Geography and Sustainability2020,1,1: | 13
A nano-cocrystal strategy to improve the dissolution rate and oral bioavailability of baicalein显示文摘Baicalein(BE) is one of the main active flavonoids representing the variety of pharmacological effects including anticancer, anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular protective activities, but it's very low solubility, dissolution rate and poor oral absorption limit the therapeutic applications. In this work, a nano-cocrystal strategy was successfully applied to improve the dissolution rate and bioavailability of BE. Baicalein-nicotinamide(BE-NCT) nanococrystals were prepared by high pressure homogenization and evaluated both in vitro and in vivo. Physical characterization results including scanning electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, powder X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry demonstrated that BE-NCT nano-cocrystals were changed into amorphous state with mean particle size of 251.53 nm. In the dissolution test, the BE-NCT nano-cocrystals performed 2.17-fold and 2.54-fold enhancement than BE coarse powder in FaSSIF-V2 and FaSSGF. Upon oral administration, the integrated AUC0-t of BE-NCT nano-cocrystals(6.02-fold) was significantly higher than BE coarse powder(1-fold), BE-NCT cocrystals(2.87-fold) and BE nanocrystals(3.32-fold). Compared with BE coarse powder, BE-NCT cocrystals and BE nanocrystals, BENCT nano-cocrystals possessed excellent performance both in vitro and in vivo evaluations. Thus, it can be seen that nano-cocrystal is an appropriate novel strategy for improving dissolution rate and bioavailability of poor soluble natural products such as BE. | Jiaxin Pi Shuya Wang Wen Li Dereje Kebebe Ying Zhang Bing Zhang Dongli Qi Pan Guo Nan Li Zhidong Liu | 2019 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2019,14,2: | 12
Recent advances in detoxification strategies for zearalenone contamination in food and feed显示文摘Zearalenone(ZEN)is a widely distributed mycotoxin that frequently contaminates crops and animal feed.ZEN can cause serious health problems in livestock and humans alike, leading to great economic losses in the food industry and livestock farming. Therefore, approaches for efficient ZEN decontamination in food and feed are urgently needed.Traditional physical and chemical methods may decrease the nutritional quality of food and palatability of feed,or leading to residues and safety concerns.By contrast, biological methods for the removal or degradation of ZEN overcome these problems, especially for biological degradation by microorganisms and specific enzymes extracted from strains that can convert ZEN to less toxic or even completely harmless products. In this review,we comprehensively describe methods for ZEN degradation, focusing especially on biological strategies. Finally, emerging strategies and advice on remaining challenges in biodegradation research are also briefly discussed. | Na Wu Wen Ou Zhidong Zhang Yuwen Wang Qing Xu He Huang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,2: | 5

Adversarial Example Generation Method Based on Sensitive Features显示文摘As deep learning models have made remarkable strides in numerous fields,a variety of adversarial attack methods have emerged to interfere with deep learning models.Adversarial examples apply a minute perturbation to the original image, which is inconceivable to the human but produces a massive error in the deep learning model.Existing attack methods have achieved good results when the network structure is known. However,in the case of unknown network structures, the effectiveness of the attacks still needs to be improved.Therefore,transfer-based attacks are now very popular because of their convenience and practicality, allowing adversarial samples generated on known models to be used in attacks on unknown models. In this paper,we extract sensitive features by Grad-CAM and propose two single-step attacks methods and a multi-step attack method to corrupt sensitive features. In two single-step attacks, one corrupts the features extracted from a single model and the other corrupts the features extracted from multiple models. In multi-step attack, our method improves the existing attack method, thus enhancing the adversarial sample transferability to achieve better results on unknown models. Our method is also validated on CIFAR-10 and MINST,and achieves a 1%-3%improvement in transferability. | WEN Zerui SHEN Zhidong SUN Hui QI Baiwen | 2023 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2023,28,1: | 0
Safety and efficacy of Endovascular Management of high-grade blunt renal injury显示文摘Objectives:To provide data on the safety and efficacy of renal arterial embolization(RAE)in patients with highgrade blunt renal injury.Materials and methods:Fifteen patients with high-grade blunt renal injury(AAST grades IV-V)admitted to our hospital from July 2014 to December 2019 were retrospectively reviewed in this study.Their clinical success rate and complications were investigated accordingly. Results:Fifteen patients with high-grade blunt renal injury,13 men and 2 women with an average age of 41.6 years, including 11 hemodynamically unstable patients and 4 stable patients, were treated with RAE.Among these patients,73.3%(11 of 15)had grade IV,and 26.7%(4 of 15)had grade V injuries, while 53.3%(8 of 15)patients had concomitant injuries. One patient received main RAE and 14 patients received selective RAE.The clinical success rate after the first embolization was 93.3%(14 of 15).RAE was repeated and was successfully performed in one patient with sustained hematuria. No significant difference in creatinine levels was found before and after embolization.During the follow-up period of 2–82 months, two patients required tube drainage due to urine leaks, one patient developed renal failure requiring renal replacement therapy, and one patient developed secondary hypertension. Conclusions:RAE can provide a high success rate of hemostasis for both hemodynamically stable and unstable patients with high-grade blunt renal injury, and only minor complications are observed with this procedure. | Bin Wang Chongpei Wen Songlin Song Guilian Li Yanggang Yan Shoucai Cheng Junmei Zeng Zhidong Lin Yong Wang | 2022 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,1: | 0
