| 2 | Digital zenith telescope prototype of China显示文摘Classical optical astronomy measures the direction of the local plumb line on the stellar background,and is influenced by variations of the earth gravity field.Therefore,classical optical astrometry can be used to measure and study variations of plumb line.This endows classical optical astrometric technologies special significance for the interdisciplinary researches of astronomy and geoscience,and makes them irreplaceable by technologies like very long baseline interferometry,satellite laser ranging.However,classical astrometric instruments have a major drawback of low efficiency,such as the low automaticity,more operating observers,and even operative error which makes it very difficult to reduce the random observation error in some visual instruments.To overcome this drawback,we have successfully developed the digital zenith telescope prototype(DZT-1)with the aperture of200 mm,using charge coupled device and other advanced technologies and new equipments.As proved by test observations,DZT-1 can observe thousands of stars over one night,which significantly reduces the random observation error and increases the observation accuracy.In addition,DZT-1 has a high degree of automation,even allowing unattended observation by remote control.Besides,DZT-1 has a small-size and is easy to move,making it convenient for mobile measurement of the deflection of the vertical.In summary,DZT can be widely used in the geoscience and astronomy fields. | Lili Tian Jinyun Guo Yanben Han Xiushan Lu Weidong Liu Zheng Wang Bo Wang Zhiqiang Yin Hongqi Wang | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014，59，17： | 4 |
| 3 | ENPP1/PC-1 Gene K121Q Polymorphism Is Associated with Obesity in European Adult Populations: Evidence from A Meta-Analysis Involving 24 324 Subjects显示文摘Objective Findings from the previous studies have suggested a relationship between ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase /phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP‐1) or plasma cell membrane glycoprotein 1 (PC‐1) gene single nucleotide polymorphism (K121Q, rs1044498) and genetic susceptibility to obesity. However, such relationship is not reproduced by some currently available studies. In this context, the present study is aimed to quantitatively analyze the association of K121Q variant with obesity in all published case‐control studies in European adult populations. Methods Published literature from PubMed, EMBASE, and ISI web of science databases were retrieved. The studies evaluating the association of ENPP1/PC1 gene K121Q polymorphism with obesity were included, in which sufficient data were presented to calculate the odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results Ten case‐control studies meeting the inclusion criteria identified a total of 24,324 subjects including 11,372 obese and 12,952 control subjects. The meta‐analysis results showed a statistically significant association of K121Q with obesity [OR (95%CI): 1.25 (1.04‐1.52) P=0.021] under a recessive model of inheritance (QQ vs. KK+KQ) without heterogeneity or publication bias. | 6 | Identification of zebrafish magnetoreceptor and cryptochrome homologs显示文摘Magnetoreception is essential for magnetic orientation in animal migration. The molecular basis for magnetoreception has recently been elucidated in fruitfly as complexes between the magnetic receptor magnetoreceptor(Mag R) and its ligand cryptochrome(Cry). Mag R and Cry are present in the animal kingdom. However, it is unknown whether they perform a conserved role in diverse animals. Here we report the identification and expression of zebrafish Mag R and Cry homologs towards understanding their roles in lower vertebrates. A single magr gene and 7 cry genes are present in the zebrafish genome. Zebrafish has four cry1 genes(cry1aa, cry1 ab, cry1 ba and cry1bb) homologous to human CRY1 and a single ortholog of human CRY2 as well as 2 cry-like genes(cry4 and cry5). By RT-PCR, magr exhibited a high level of ubiquitous RNA expression in embryos and adult organs, whereas cry genes displayed differential embryonic and adult expression. Importantly, magr depletion did not produce apparent abnormalities in organogenesis. Taken together, magr and cry2 exist as a single copy gene, whereas cry1 exists as multiple gene duplicates in zebrafish. | 9 | Coarse-to-Fine Video Instance Segmentation With Factorized Conditional Appearance Flows显示文摘We introduce a novel method using a new generative model that automatically learns effective representations of the target and background appearance to detect,segment and track each instance in a video sequence.Differently from current discriminative tracking-by-detection solutions,our proposed hierarchical structural embedding learning can predict more highquality masks with accurate boundary details over spatio-temporal space via the normalizing flows.We formulate the instance inference procedure as a hierarchical spatio-temporal embedded learning across time and space.Given the video clip,our method first coarsely locates pixels belonging to a particular instance with Gaussian distribution and then builds a novel mixing distribution to promote the instance boundary by fusing hierarchical appearance embedding information in a coarse-to-fine manner.For the mixing distribution,we utilize a factorization condition normalized flow fashion to estimate the distribution parameters to improve the segmentation performance.Comprehensive qualitative,quantitative,and ablation experiments are performed on three representative video instance segmentation benchmarks(i.e.,YouTube-VIS19,YouTube-VIS21,and OVIS)and the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated.More impressively,the superior performance of our model on an unsupervised video object segmentation dataset(i.e.,DAVIS19)proves its generalizability.Our algorithm implementations are publicly available at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460askuwcccvuobwv69n0.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/zyqin19/HEVis. | Zheyun Qin Xiankai Lu Xiushan Nie Dongfang Liu Yilong Yin Wenguan Wang | 2023 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2023，10，5： | 1 |
