12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Sensory innervation around immediately vs. delayed loaded implants: a pilot study显示文摘Although neurophysiological and psychophysical proof of osseoperception is accumulating, histomorphometric evidence for the neural mechanisms of functional compensation following immediate and delayed implant loading is still lacking. For this randomized split-mouth study, six mongrel dogs randomly received one of four treatment protocols at 36 implant-recipient sites over 16 weeks(third maxillary incisor, third and fourth mandibular premolar): immediate implant placement and immediate loading(IIP1IL);delayed implant placement and delayed loading(DIP1DL); delayed implant placement and immediate loading(DIP1IL); and natural extraction socket healing(control). Histomorphometry was performed in the peri-implant bone and soft tissues within 300 mm around the implants. Immunocytochemistry and transmission electron microscopy were used to confirm the presence of neural structures and to reveal their ultrastructural characteristics, respectively. Myelinated nerve fibres densely populated the peri-implant crestal gingival and apical regions, although they were also identified in the woven bone and in the osteons near the implant threads. Compared with the control group in the mandible, the group that received IIP1 IL showed a higher innervation(in Nmm22, 5.9461.12 vs. 3.1560.63,P,0.001) and smaller fibre diameter(in mm, 1.3760.05 vs. 1.6460.13, P50.016), smaller axon diameter(in mm, 0.8960.05 vs.1.2460.10, P50.009) and g-ratio(0.6460.04 vs. 0.7660.05, P,0.001) in the middle region around the implants. Compared with DIP1 IL in the mandible, IIP1 IL had a higher nerve density(in Nmm22, 13.2362.54 vs. 9.6461.86, P50.027), greater fibre diameter(in mm, 1.3260.02 vs. 1.2060.04, P50.021), greater axon diameter(in mm, 0.9260.01 vs. 0.8960.03, P50.035) and lower g-ratio(0.6960.01 vs. 0.7460.01, P50.033) in the apical region around the implants. 52D organic semiconductors, the future of green nanotechnology显示文摘The discovery of 2D organic semiconductors of atomically thin structures has attracted great attention due to their emerging optical, electronic, optoelectronic and mechatronic properties. Recent progress in such organic nanostructures has opened new opportunities for engineering material properties in many ways, such as, 0D/1D/2D nanoparticles hybridization, strain engineering, atomic doping etc. Moreover, 2D organic nanostructures exhibit a unique feature of bio–functionality and are highly sensitive to bio-analytes. Such peculiar behavior in 2D organics can be utilized to design highly-efficient bio-sensors. Also, a bio-molecular integrated electronic/optoelectronic device with enhanced performance can be attained. Furthermore, the bio-degradable, biocompatible, biometabolizable, non-toxic behaviour and natural origin of organic nanomaterials can address the current ecological concerns of increasing inorganic material based electronic waste. This review highlights the benefits of 2D organic semiconductors. Considering the importance of strategic techniques for growing thin 2D organic layers,this review summarizes progress towards this direction. The possible challenges for long-time stability and future research directions in 2D organic nano electronics/optoelectronics are also discussed. 8Sensitivity of Fusarium graminearum to Carbendazim and Prochloraz显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to understand the resistance of Fusarium graminearum to carbendazim and prochloraz in the main wheat producing areas in Hubei Province.[Method] Totally 350 F. graminearum strains isolated in 2014 were determined to clear their sensitivity to carbendazim and prochloraz. [Result]All isolates were sensitive to carbendazim and prochloraz in Hubei Province,and carbendazim was still valuable in controlling Fusarium head blight. 10E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF170 inhibits innate immune responses by targeting and degrading TLR3 in murine cells显示文摘Upon recognition of dsRNA,toll-like receptor 3(TLR3)recruits the adaptor protein TRIF to activate IRF3 and NF-κB signaling,initiating innate immune responses.The ubiquitination of TLR3 downstream signaling molecules and their roles in the innate response have been discovered;however,whether TLR3 itself is ubiquitinated and then functionally involved remains to be elucidated.By immunoprecipitating TLR3-binding proteins in macrophages,we identified ring finger protein 170(RNF170)as a TLR3-binding E3 ligase.RNF170 mediated the K48-linked polyubiquitination of K766 in the TIR domain of TLR3 and promoted the degradation of TLR3 through the proteasome pathway.The genetic ablation of RNF170 selectively augmented TLR3-triggered innate immune responses both in vitro and in vivo.Our results reveal a novel role for RNF170 in selectively inhibiting TLR3-triggered innate immune responses by promoting TLR3 degradation.Xiaoqi Song Shuo Liu Wendie Wang Zhongfei Ma Xuetao Cao Minghong Jiang 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,8:2
11The effect of multiple pairs of meta-dicarboxyl groups on molecular self-assembly and the selective adsorption of coronene by hydrogen bonding and van der Waals forces显示文摘The prediction of two-dimensional molecular self-assembly structures has always been a problem to be solved.The molecules with meta-dicarboxyl groups can self-assemble into a specific hexagonal cavity,which has an important influence on the prediction of molecular self-assembly structures and the application of functional molecules with meta-dicarboxyl groups.Two kinds of molecules with four pairs of meta-dicarboxyl groups,1,3,6,8-tet「akis(3,5-isophthalic acid)pyrene(H_(8)TIAPy)and 4′,4′',4′'',4''-(ethene-1,1,2,2-tetrayl)tetrakis(([1,1′-biphenyl]-3,5-dicarboxylic acid))(H8ETTB)molecules were chosen to observe the self-assembly behavior at the heptanoic acid/highly oriented pyrolytic graphite(HA/HOPG)interface.H8TIAPy molecules self-assembled into well-ordered quadrilateral structures and could be regulated into kagome networks with hexagonal pores by coronene(COR)molecules.H8ETTB molecules self-assembled into lamellar structures and transformed into acid-COR-acid-COR co-assembled structures at low concentration of COR solution and acid-COR dimer-acid-COR dimer co-assembled structures at high concentration of COR solution.The reason that H8ETTB molecules could not be regulated into hexagonal porous architecture was attributed to the steric hindrance by the similar length and width of H8ETTB molecules.The H8ETTB templates had stronger adsorption for COR than that of hexaphenylbenzene(HPB),regardless of the order of molecular introduction.Jianqiao Li Wendi Luo Siqi Zhang Chunyu Ma Xunwen Xiao Wubiao Duan Qingdao Zeng 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:2
12CONVERGENCE IN THE CHEMOSTAT MODELWITH DELAYED RESPONSE IN GROWTH显示文摘The asymptotic behavior of solutions of a model for competition between two microorganisms in the chemostat is studied. The model incorporates time delays that allow for cellular components of each competing species to be structured to include unassimilated or stored nutrient and allow uptake functions to be nonmonotone. By introducing two auxiliary functions and using fluctuation lemma, it is shown that at most one competitor survives, and the substrate and the surviving competitor (if one exists), approach limiting values. Our results indicate this kind of time delays do not influence the competitive outcome except for a critical case. The main results of S. F. 16Brain-targeting,acid-responsive antioxidant nanoparticles for stroke treatment and drug delivery显示文摘Stroke is the leading cause of death and disability.Currently,there is no effective pharmacological treatment for this disease,which can be partially attributed to the inability to efficiently deliver therapeutics to the brain.Here we report the development of natural compound-derived nanoparticles(NPs),which function both as a potent therapeutic agent for stroke treatment and as an efficient carrier for drug delivery to the ischemic brain.First,we screened a collection of natural nanomaterials and identified betulinic acid(BA)as one of the most potent antioxidants for stroke treatment.Next,we engineered BA NPs for preferential drug release in acidic ischemic tissue through chemically converting BA to betulinic amine(BAM)and for targeted drug delivery through surface conjugation of AMD3100,a CXCR4 antagonist.The resulting AMD3100-conjugated BAM NPs,or A-BAM NPs,were then assessed as a therapeutic agent for stroke treatment and as a carrier for delivery of NA1,a neuroprotective peptide.We show that intravenous administration of A-BAM NPs effectively improved recovery from stroke and its efficacy was further enhanced when NA1 was encapsulated.Due to their multifunctionality and significant efficacy,we anticipate that A-BAM NPs have the potential to be translated both as a therapeutic agent and as a drug carrier to improve the treatment of stroke.Shenqi Zhang Bin Peng Zeming Chen Jiang Yu Gang Deng Youmei Bao Chao Ma Fengyi Du Wendy C.Sheu W.Taylor Kimberly J.Marc Simard Daniel Coman Qianxue Chen Fahmeed Hyder Jiangbing Zhou Kevin N.Sheth 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,10:1
