1Effect of particle size on the microstructure and thermal conductivity of Al/diamond composites prepared by spark plasma sintering显示文摘Spark plasma sintering (SPS) was used to fabricate Al/diamond composites. The influence of diamond particle size on the microstructure and thermal conductivity (TC) of composites was investigated by combining experimental results with model prediction. The results show that both composites with 40 μm particles and 70 μm particles exhibit high density and good TC, and the composite with 70 μm particles indicates an excellent TC of 325 W·m-1·K-1. Their TCs lay between the theoretical estimated bounds. In contrast, the composite with 100 μm particles demonstrates low density as well as poor TC due to its high porosity and weak interfacial bonding. Its TC is even considerably less than the lower bound of the predicted value. 4Monolithic integration of MoS2-based visible detectors and GaN-based UV detectors显示文摘With the increasing demand for high integration and multi-color photodetection for both military and civilian applications, the research of multi-wavelength detectors has become a new research hotspot. However, current research has been mainly in visible dual-or multi-wavelength detectors, while integration of both visible light and ultraviolet(UV) dual-wavelength detectors has rarely been studied. In this work, large-scale and high-quality monolayer MoS2 was grown by the chemical vapor deposition method on transparent free-standing GaN substrate. Monolithic integration of MoS2-based visible detectors and GaN-based UV detectors was demonstrated using common semiconductor fabrication technologies such as photolithography, argon plasma etching, and metal deposition. High performance of a 280 nm and 405 nm dual-wavelength photodetector was realized.The responsivity of the UV detector reached 172.12 A/W, while that of the visible detector reached 17.5 A/W.Meanwhile, both photodetectors achieved high photocurrent gain, high external quantum efficiency, high normalized detection rate, and low noise equivalent power. 5High performance and stability of double perovskite-type oxide NdBa0.5Ca0.5Co1.5Fe0.5O5+δas an oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide electrochemical cell显示文摘In this study,we successfully synthesized double perovskite-type oxide NdBa0.5Ca0.5Co1.5Fe0.5O5+δ(NBCCF)using a conventional wet chemical method as the oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide electrochemical cells(RSOCs).The polarization resistance(Rp)of the composite electrode NBCCFGd0.1Ce0.9O2(GDC)is only 0.079Ωcm^2 at 800℃under air.The single cell based on NBCCF-GDC electrode displays a peak power density of 0.941 W/cm^2 in fuel cell mode and a low Rp value of 0.134Ωcm^2.In electrolysis cell mode,the cell displays an outstanding oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity and shows current density as high as 0.92 A/cm^2 with 50 vol%AH(Absolute Humidity)at 800℃and applied voltage of 1.3 V.Most importantly,the cell exhibits admirable durability of 60 h both in electrolysis mode and fuel cell mode with distinguished reversibility.All these results suggest that NBCCF is a promising candidate electrode for RSOC.Yunfeng Tian Yun Liu Wenjie Wang Lichao Jia Jian Pu Bo Chi Jian Li 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4:4
6Improved Clustering and Resource Allocation for Ultra-Dense Networks显示文摘To reduce the interference among small cells of Ultra-Dense Networks(UDN),an improved Clustering-Assisted Resource Allocation(CARA)scheme is proposed in this paper.The proposed scheme is divided into three steps.First,an Interference-Limited Clustering Algorithm(ILCA)based on interference graph corresponding to the interference relationship between Femtocell Base Stations(FBSs),is proposed to group FBSs into disjoint clusters,in which a pre-threshold is set to constrain the sum of interference in each cluster,and a Cluster Head(CH)is selected for each cluster.Then,CH performs a twostage sub-channel allocation within its associated cluster,where the first stage assigns one sub-channel to each user of the cluster and the second stage assigns a second sub-channel to some users.Finally,a power allocation method is designed to maximize throughput for a given clustering and sub-channel configuration.Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme distributes FBSs into each cluster more evenly,and significantly improves the system throughput compared with the existing schemes in the same scenario.Xinji Tian Wenjie Jia 2020China Communications2020,17,2:3
7Response of PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species to emission variations and associated health risk assessment during the COVID-19 pandemic in a coastal megacity显示文摘The coronavirus(COVID-19)pandemic is disrupting the world from many aspects.In this study,the impact of emission variations on PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species and health risks associated to inhalation exposure has been analyzed based on real-time measurements at a remote coastal site in Shanghai during the pandemic.Most trace elemental species decreased significantly and displayed almost no diel peaks during the lockdown.After the lockdown,they rebounded rapidly,of which V and Ni even exceeded the levels before the lockdown,suggesting the recovery of both inland and shipping activities.Five sources were identified based on receptor modeling.Coal combustion accounted for more than 70%of the measured elemental concentrations before and during the lockdown.Shipping emissions,fugitive/mineral dust,and waste incineration all showed elevated contributions after the lockdown.The total non-carcinogenic risk(HQ)for the target elements exceeded the risk threshold for both children and adults with chloride as the predominant species contributing to HQ.Whereas,the total carcinogenic risk(TR)for adults was above the acceptable level and much higher than that for children.Waste incineration was the largest contributor to HQ,while manufacture processing and coal combustion were the main sources of TR.Lockdown control measures were beneficial for lowering the carcinogenic risk while unexpectedly increased the non-carcinogenic risk.From the perspective of health effects,priorities of control measures should be given to waste incineration,manufacture processing,and coal combustion.A balanced way should be reached between both lowering the levels of air pollutants and their health risks.Guochen Wang Kan Huang Qingyan Fu Jia Chen Juntao Huo Qianbiao Zhao Yusen Duan Yanfen Lin Fan Yang Wenjie Zhang Hao Li Jian Xu Xiaofei Qin Na Zhao Congrui Deng 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,12:2

9Preparation of mesoporous MgO-templated carbons from phenolic resin and their applications for electric double-layer capacitors显示文摘Mesoporous carbons were synthesized using thermoplastic phenolic resin(PF) as carbonaceous precursor and magnesium citrate as template precursor.Pore structure was determined as ink-bottle-like geometry through TEM,N2 adsorption analysis combined with TG curves.The porous carbons prepared were then applied as electrode material for electric double-layer capacitors.The capacitor performance was examined in 30 wt% KOH aqueous solution by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge/discharge measurements.The carbon prepared with MgO/PF mass ratio of 8/2 had a BET surface area of 1920 m2 g-1 and exhibited a capacitance of 220 F g-1 at a current density of 50 mA g-1.Besides,the carbon with the ratio of 4/6 had the optimize proportion of mesopores,which ensures its good rate performance that up to 98.3%,expressed as the ratio of the capacitance measured at 1000 mA g-1 against that at 50 mA g-1.LIU WenJie WANG ChengYang WANG JiuZhou JIA Fan ZHENG JiaMing CHEN MingMing 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,9:2
10Information-Defined Networks:A Communication Network Approach for Network Studies显示文摘The research of complex networks facilitates the progress of various disciplines,including biology,chemistry,social science,computer,and communication engineering.Recently,it is popular to utilize complex networks to study the communication networks,such as designing efficient routing strategies and robust communication networks.However,exploiting the advantages of communication networks to investigate networks in various disciplines beyond telecommunications is still in infancy.Because of this situation,this paper proposes an information-defined network(IDN)framework by which a complex network can be abstracted as a communication network associated with multiple intelligent agents.Specifically,each component and dynamic process in this framework can be defined by information.We show that the IDN framework promotes the research of unsolved problems in the current complex network field,especially for detecting new interaction types in realworld networks.Wenjie Jia Tao Jiang 2021China Communications2021,18,7:2

12A novel manganese complex LMnAc selectively kills cancer cells by induction of ROS-triggered and mitochondrial-mediated cell death显示文摘We previously identified a novel synthesized metal compound,LMnAc([L2Mn2(Ac)(H2O)2](Ac)(L=bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amino-2-propionic acid)).This compound exhibited significant inhibition on cancer cell proliferation and was more selective against cancer cells than was the popular chemotherapeutic reagent cisplatin.In this study,we further investigated the underlying molecular mechanisms of LMnAc-induced cancer cell death.We found that LMnAc achieved its selectivity against cancer cells through the transferrin-transferrin receptor system,which is highly expressed in tumor cells.LMnAc triggered cancer cells to commit autophagy and apoptosis,which was mediated by the mitochondrial pathway.Moreover,LMnAc disrupted mitochondrial function,resulting in mitochondrial membrane potential collapse and ATP reduction.In addition,LMnAc induced intracellular Ca2+overload and reactive oxygen species generation.Interestingly,its anticancer effect was significantly reduced following pretreatment with the antioxidant N-acetyl cysteine,indicating that reactive oxygen species triggered cell death.Altogether,our data suggest that LMnAc appears to be a selectively promising anticancer drug candidate.LI Xiang ZHAO KaiDi GUO WenJie LIU Xu LIU Jia GAO Jing CHEN QiuYun BAI YiDong 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,10:1

20Identifying Heteroatomic and Defective Sites in Carbon with Dual-Ion Adsorption Capability for High Energy and Power Zinc Ion Capacitor显示文摘Aqueous zinc-based batteries(AZB s)attract tremendous attention due to the abundant and rechargeable zinc anode.Nonetheless,the requirement of high energy and power densities raises great challenge for the cathode development.Herein we construct an aqueous zinc ion capacitor possessing an unrivaled combination of high energy and power characteristics by employing a unique dual-ion adsorption mechanism in the cathode side.Through a templating/activating co-assisted carbonization procedure,a routine protein-rich biomass transforms into defect-rich carbon with immense surface area of 3657.5 m^(2) g^(-1) and electrochemically active heteroatom content of 8.0 at%.Comprehensive characterization and DFT calculations reveal that the obtained carbon cathode exhibits capacitive charge adsorptions toward both the cations and anions,which regularly occur at the specific sites of heteroatom moieties and lattice defects upon different depths of discharge/charge.The dual-ion adsorption mechanism endows the assembled cells with maximum capacity of 257 mAh g^(-1) and retention of72 mAh g^(-1) at ultrahigh current density of 100 A g^(-1)(400 C),corresponding to the outstanding energy and power of 168 Wh kg^(-1)and 61,700 W kg^(-1).Furthermore,practical battery configurations of solid-state pouch and cable-type cells display excellent reliability in electrochemistry as flexible and knittable power sources.Wenjie Fan Jia Ding Jingnan Ding Yulong Zheng Wanqing Song Jiangfeng Lin Caixia Xiao Cheng Zhong Huanlei Wang Wenbin Hu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,4:1
