| 1 | Influence of substrate temperature on growth of a-Si:H films by reactive facing target sputtering deposition显示文摘Hydrogenated amorphous silicon(a-Si:H) films were deposited by reactive facing target sputtering(FTS) technique with a mixture of Ar and H2 reaction gas.Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) absorption,Raman scattering and ultraviolet-visible optical absorption are used to investigate the microstructure and optical properties of the deposited films.The decrease of the concentration of bonded hydrogen,especially that of(Si-H2)n with increasing substrate temperature(Ts),was observed in FTIR spectra,suggesting the atomic density increases and the concentration of microvoids decrease in a-Si:H films.The increase of both the short range order and the intermediate range order of amorphous network for a-Si:H films were verified by Raman scattering spectra,in which increasing Ts decreasing the band width of TO and the scattering intensity ratio ITA/ITO were obtained.All above results clarify the effect of increasing Ts on the microstructure amelioration for a-Si:H films.The reduction of disordered domains is correlated with the film growing process,where the increased surface diffusion mobility and etching of weak bonds is induced by increasing Ts.Furthermore,analysis of optical absorption indicates that the films with a lower optical band gap and a narrower band edge can be obtained by this FTS technique. | YU Wei,MENG LingHai,YUAN Jing,LU HaiJiang,WU ShuJie & FU GuangSheng College of Physics Science and Technology,Hebei University,Baoding 071002,China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,5: | 3 |
| 2 | Acoustofluidic separation enables early diagnosis of traumatic brain injury based on circulating exosomes显示文摘Traumatic brain injury(TBI)is a global cause of morbidity and mortality.Initial management and risk stratification of patients with TBI is made difficult by the relative insensitivity of screening radiographic studies as well as by the absence of a widely available,noninvasive diagnostic biomarker.In particular,a blood-based biomarker assay could provide a quick and minimally invasive process to stratify risk and guide early management strategies in patients with mild TBI(mTBI).Analysis of circulating exosomes allows the potential for rapid and specific identification of tissue injury.By applying acoustofluidic exosome separation—which uses a combination of microfluidics and acoustics to separate bioparticles based on differences in size and acoustic properties—we successfully isolated exosomes from plasma samples obtained from mice after TBI.Acoustofluidic isolation eliminated interference from other blood components,making it possible to detect exosomal biomarkers for TBI via flow cytometry.Flow cytometry analysis indicated that exosomal biomarkers for TBI increase in the first 24 h following head trauma,indicating the potential of using circulating exosomes for the rapid diagnosis of TBI.Elevated levels of TBI biomarkers were only detected in the samples separated via acoustofluidics;no changes were observed in the analysis of the raw plasma sample.This finding demonstrated the necessity of sample purification prior to exosomal biomarker analysis.Since acoustofluidic exosome separation can easily be integrated with downstream analysis methods,it shows great potential for improving early diagnosis and treatment decisions associated with TBI. | Zeyu Wang Haichen Wang Ryan Becker Joseph Rufo Shujie Yang Brian E.Mace Mengxi Wu Jun Zou Daniel T.Laskowitz Tony Jun Huang | 2021 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,2: | 3 |

| 18 | Fabrication of the beam splitters for soft X-ray laser application显示文摘The soft X-ray interferometry is completed by the Mach-Zehnder interferometer using a soft X-ray laser, and it is also an important method to measure the electron densities of a laser-produced plasma near the critical surface. It is apparently demonstrated in this paper that the incident angle of each optical element in the soft X-ray Mach- Zehnder interferometer should be near normal incidence based on the polarized characteristics of the soft X-ray mul-tilayers, and the product of reflectivity and transmission of the beam splitter should be taken as a standard of design according to the structure of the soft X-ray Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The beam splitters used in the soft X-ray interferometry at 13.9 nm are fabricated using the ion beam sputtering. | 19 | Characterization of extracellular phosphatase activities in periphytic biofilm from paddy field显示文摘Periphytic biofilms exist widely in paddy fields, but their influences on the hydrolysis of organic phosphorus(P) have rarely been investigated. In this study,a periphytic biofilm was incubated in a paddy soil solution, and hydrolysis kinetic parameters(half-saturation constant(Km) and maximum catalytic reaction rate(Vmax)), optimal environmental conditions, substrate specificity, and response to different P regimes of the phosphatase activities in the periphytic biofilm were determined, in order to characterize extracellular phosphatase activities in periphytic biofilms from paddy fields. The results indicated that the periphytic biofilm could produce an acid phosphomonoesterase(PMEase), an alkaline PMEases, and a phosphodiesterase(PDEase). These three phosphatases displayed high substrate affinity, with Km values ranging from 141.03 to 212.96 μmol L^(-1). The Vmax/Km ratios for the phosphatases followed the order of alkaline PMEase > acid PMEase > PDEase, which suggested that the PMEases, especially the alkaline PMEase, had higher catalytic efficiency. The optimal pH was 6.0 for the acid PMEase activity and 8.0 for the PDEase activity, and the alkaline PMEase activity increased with a pH increase from 7.0 to 12.0. The optimal temperature was 50℃ for the PMEases and 60℃ for the PDEase. The phosphatases showed high catalytic efficiency for condensed P over a wide pH range and for orthophosphate monoesters at pH 11.0, except for inositol hexakisphosphate at pH 6.0. The inorganic P supply was the main factor in the regulation of phosphatase activities.
