1Adakitic rocks and destruction of the North China Craton:Evidence from experimental petrology and geochemistry显示文摘The general temporal-spatial consistency for the formation of adakitic rocks and lithospheric thinning in northern China provide a window to examine the processes and mechanism for the destruction of the North China Craton.With experimental petrology data,this paper demonstrates that the adakitic rocks in northern China are the products of partial melting of middle-to high-potassic metabasalts at the base of the lower continent crust.Based on the TiO2 solubility model,many adakitic rocks in Dabie,Jiaodong and the northern part of the craton appear to have been saturated with TiO2.This indicates the presence of a Ti-rich accessory phase in their source regions.This phase must be rutile based on the decreasing Nb/La with increasing La/Yb in the adakitic rocks.The adakitic magmas were,thus,derived from a depth of more than 50 km,based on pressures (higher than 1.5 GPa) for the stability of rutile in a metabasalt system.Because present-day crustal thickness is generally only 35 km,we suggest that the destruction of the North China Craton may have led to at least 15 km of thinning or delamination of the crust.XIONG XiaoLin LIU XingCheng ZHU ZhiMin LI Yuan XIAO Wan Sheng SONG MaoShuang ZHANG Sheng WU JinHua 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,6:34
2Synthesis of rod-like metal-organic framework(MOF-5)nanomaterial for efficient removal of U(Ⅵ):batch experiments and spectroscopy study显示文摘With the widespread application of radionuclide235 U(Ⅵ), it is inevitable that part of U(Ⅵ) is released into the natural environment. The potential toxicity and irreversibility impact on the natural environment has become one of the most forefront pollution problems in nuclear energy utilization. In this work, rod-like metal-organic framework(MOF-5) nanomaterial was synthesized by a solvothermal method and applied to efficiently adsorb U(Ⅵ) from aqueous solutions. The batch experimental results showed that the sorption of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was strongly dependent on p H and independent of ionic strength, indicating that the dominant interaction mechanism was inner-sphere surface complexation and electrostatic interaction. The maximum sorption capacity of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was 237.0 mg/g at p H 5.0 and T = 298 K, and the sorption equilibrium reached within 5 min. The thermodynamic parameters indicated that the removal of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was a spontaneous and endothermic process. Additionally, the FT-IR and XPS analyses implied that the high sorption capacity of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was mainly attributed to the abundant oxygen-containing functional groups(i.e., CAO and C@O). 3Analysis of factors related to non-sentinel lymph node metastasis in 296 sentinel lymph node-positive Chinese breast cancer patients显示文摘Objective: Axillary lymph node dissection(ALND) may be unnecessary in 20%–60% of breast cancer patients with sentinel lymph node(NSLN) metastasis. The aim of the present study was to review the medical records of Chinese patients with early-stage breast cancer and positive NSLN metastasis to identify clinicopathological characteristics as risk factors for non-NSLN metastasis.Methods: The medical records of 2008 early-stage breast cancer patients who received intraoperative sentinel lymph node biopsy(SLNB) between 2006 and 2016 were retrospectively reviewed. These patients were clinically and radiologically lymph nodenegative and had no prior history of receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy or endocrinotherapy. The clinicopathological characteristics of patients with positive NSLN metastasis who underwent ALND were investigated.Results: In the present study, 296 patients with positive NSLN metastases underwent ALND. Positive non-NSLN metastases were confirmed in 95 patients(32.1%). On univariate analysis, ≥ 3 positive NSLN metastases(P <0.01), NSLN macrometastases(P =0.023), and lymphovascular invasion(P = 0.04) were associated with non-NSLN metastasis(P <0.05). In multivariate analysis, the number of positive SLNs was the most significant predictor of non-SLN metastasis. For patients with 0, 1, 2, or 3 associated risk factors, the non-SLN metastatic rates were 11.5%, 22.5%, 35.2%, and 73.1%, respectively.Conclusions: The number of positive NSLNs, NSLN macrometastases, and lymphovascular invasion were correlated with nonSLN metastasis. The number of positive SLNs was an independent predictor for non-NSLN metastasis. 4Application of next-generation sequencing technology to precision medicine in cancer: joint consensus of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology显示文摘Next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology is capable of sequencing millions or billions of DNA molecules simultaneously.Therefore, it represents a promising tool for the analysis of molecular targets for the initial diagnosis of disease, monitoring of disease progression, and identifying the mechanism of drug resistance. On behalf of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) and the China Actionable Genome Consortium(CAGC), the present expert group hereby proposes advisory guidelines on clinical applications of NGS technology for the analysis of cancer driver genes for precision cancer therapy. This group comprises an assembly of laboratory cancer geneticists, clinical oncologists, bioinformaticians,pathologists, and other professionals. After multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, the expert group has reached a preliminary consensus on the need of NGS in clinical diagnosis, its regulation, and compliance standards in clinical sample collection. 5Continuous unidirectional solidification of QAl9-4 Cu-Al alloy显示文摘A continuous unidirectional solidification equipment with the advantages of electric slag remelting, induction heating, continuous casting and unidirectional solidification was built to study the QAl9 4 Cu Al alloy. 6Whole genome sequencing of 10K patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack: design, methods and baseline patient characteristics显示文摘Background and purpose Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide and the leading cause of mortality and long-term disability in China,but its underlying risk genes and pathways are far from being comprehensively understood.We here describe the design and methods of whole genome sequencing(WGS)for 10914 patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack from the Third China National Stroke Registry(CNSR-III).Methods Baseline clinical characteristics of the included patients in this study were reported.DNA was extracted from white blood cells of participants.Libraries are constructed using qualified DNA,and WGS is conducted on BGISEQ-500 platform.The average depth is intended to be greater than 30×for each subject.Afterwards,Sentieon software is applied to process the sequencing data under the Genome Analysis Toolkit best practice guidance to call genotypes of single nucleotide variants(SNVs)and insertion-deletions.For each included subject,21 fingerprint SNVs are genotyped by MassARRAY assays to verify that DNA sample and sequencing data originate from the same individual.The copy number variations and structural variations are also called for each patient.All of the genetic variants are annotated and predicted by bioinformatics software or by reviewing public databases.Results The average age of the included 10914 patients was 62.2±11.3 years,and 31.4%patients were women.Most of the baseline clinical characteristics of the 10914 and the excluded patients were balanced.Conclusions The WGS data together with abundant clinical and imaging data of CNSR-III could provide opportunity to elucidate the molecular mechanisms and discover novel therapeutic targets for stroke.Si Cheng Zhe Xu Yang Liu Jinxi Lin Yong Jiang Yilong Wang Xia Meng Anxin Wang Xinying Huang Zhimin Wang Guohua Chen Songdi Wu Zhengchang Jia Yongming Chen Xuerong Qiu Jun Wu Binbin Song Weizhong Ji Zhongping An Wenjun Xue Lili Zhao Yu Geng Hongyan Li Hao Li Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:8
7Effect of circumferential strain rate on dynamic recrystallization and texture of Mg-13Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr alloy during rotary backward extrusion显示文摘Gleeble-3500 thermal simulator was applied to realize the rotary backward extrusion forming of Mg-13Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr(wt%)alloy at different circumferential strain rate from 0.009 s^(-1)to 0.027 s^(-1)at 400℃and the dynamic recrystallization mechanism and texture evolution were studied.The results show that the grain size of the alloy was obviously refined after rotary backward extrusion.As the circumferenlial strain rate increased,the dynamic recrystallization fraction gradually increased causing the grain size decreased and the distribution of microstructure became more uniform.At the same time,the texture of{0001},{10-10},{11-20}was weakened and the grain orientation distribution became more random.With the increase of circumferential strain rate,the discontinuous dynamic recrystallization mechanism became dominant,which promoted the weakening of texture and grain refinement of the alloy.Yingze Meng Jianmin Yu Guanshi Zhang Yaojin Wu Zhimin Zhang Zheng Shi 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,4:7

9Geochronology and Petrochemistry of Volcanic Rocks in the Xaignabouli Area, NW Laos显示文摘An integrated study of zircon U-Pb geochronology and petrochemistry, together with zircon Lu-Hf isotopes, has been carried out on the basaltic-andesitic tuff and volcanic breccia from the Nam Hang Formation and andesitic tuff from the Muang-Nan Formation in the Xaignabouli area, which had been mapped as the Permian–Early Triassic on the 1 : 1 000 000 geological map or Late Carboniferous on the 1 : 200 000 geological maps. Zircon U-Pb dating of three samples yielded weighted mean ages of 235±2.6, 232±1.4 and 278±2.8 Ma, respectively, suggesting a Late Triassic origin for the Nam Hang Formation and an Early Permian origin for the Muang-Nan Formation. Geochemically, they are characterized by depletions in HFSEs(e.g., Nb, Ta, Ti) and high LILE/HFSE ratios, and they have positive zircon ε_(Hf)(t) values of 8.7–15.9, which exhibits the continental arc volcanic affinity and partial melting of subducting oceanic slab in the magma source. Combined with spatial occurrence of the volcanic rock and existing geochronological and geochemical data, we suggest that the Xaignabouli-Luang Prabang volcanic belt can be linked to the Loei-Phetchabun belt. 10A novel surface molecularly imprinted polymer as the solid-phase extraction adsorbent for the selective determination of ampicillin sodium in milk and blood samples显示文摘Surface molecularly imprinted polymers(SMIPs) for selective adsorption of ampicillin sodium were synthesized using surface molecular imprinting technique with silica gel as a support.The physical and morphological characteristics of the polymers were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),elemental analysis and nitrogen adsorption–desorption test.The obtained results showed that the SMIPs displayed great adsorption capacity(13.5 μg/mg),high recognition ability(the imprinted factor is 3.2) and good binding kinetics for ampicillin sodium.Finally,as solid phase extraction adsorbents,the SMIPs coupled with HPLC method were validated and applied for the enrichment,purification and determination of ampicillin sodium in real milk and blood samples.The averages of spiked accuracy ranged from 92.1% to 107.6%.The relative standard deviations of intra- and inter-day precisions were less than 4.6%.This study provides a new and promising method for enriching,extracting and determining ampicillin sodium in complex biological samples.Ningli Wu Zhimin Luo Yanhui Ge Pengqi Guo Kangli Du Weili Tang Wei Du Aiguo Zeng Chun Chang Qiang Fu 2016Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2016,6,3:6
11Exosomal lncRNA FOXD3-AS1 upregulates ELAVL1 expression and activates PI3K/Akt pathway to enhance lung cancer cell proliferation, invasion, and 5-fluorouracil resistance显示文摘Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) FOXD3-AS1 expression is upregulated in lung cancer;however, its effect and mechanism on 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) resistance remain unclear. In this study, we determined the effects of FOXD3-AS1-enriched exosomes derived from lung cancer cells on the proliferation, invasion, and 5-FU resistance of lung cancer cells. Online bioinformatics database analysis showed that FOXD3-AS1 was upregulated in lung cancer progression. Real-time quantitative PCR results confirmed that FOXD3-AS1 expression was upregulated in lung cancer tissues and cell lines, and FOXD3-AS1 was greatly enriched in lung cancer cell-derived exosomes. ELAV-like RNA-binding protein 1 (ELAVL1) was identified as an RNA-binding protein of FOXD3-AS1. The lung cancer cell-derived exosomes promoted A549 cell proliferation and invasion and inhibited apoptosis caused by 5-FU, and transfection of si-FOXD3-AS1 or si-ELAVL1 in exosome-incubated A549 cells reversed these effects. Moreover, exosome-incubated A549 cells were co-transfected with si-FOXD3-AS1 and pcDNA-ELAVL1, showing the same cell proliferation, invasion, and 5-FU resistance as those of A549 cells treated with lung cancer cell-derived exosomes alone. Mechanistic studies identified that lung cancer cell-derived exosomes activated the PI3K/Akt pathway, and transfection of si-FOXD3-AS1 or treatment with the PI3K inhibitor LY294002 reversed the activation of the PI3K/Akt axis induced by exosomes. In conclusion, our study revealed that lung cancer cell-derived exosomal FOXD3-AS1 upregulated ELAVL1 expression and activated the PI3K/Akt pathway to promote lung cancer progression. 16Choline-based ionic liquids for CO_2 capture and conversion显示文摘Choline-based ionic liquids(Ch-ILs) with anions possessing interacting sites to attract CO_2 were designed, which could capture CO_2 with capacity >1.0 mol CO_2 per molar IL under ambient conditions. Moreover, this kind of ILs combining with Cu Cl could catalyze the formylation of amines with CO_2/H_2 at 120 °C. Especially, choline imidazolate showed the best performance,affording a series of N-formamides in excellent yields. 18Cooperative effect from cation and anion of pyridine-containing anion-based ionic liquids for catalysing CO_2 transformation at ambient conditions显示文摘Pyridine-containing anion-based ionic liquids(PA-ILs) with two kinds of interaction sites to bind CO_2, e.g., [P4444][2-OP], were found to be highly efficient for catalysing the cycloaddition reactions of atmospheric CO_2 with epoxides at room temperature under metal-and halogen-free conditions, producing a series of cyclic carbonates in high yields. 20A mathematical modeling study of the HIV epidemics at two rural townships in the Liangshan Prefecture of the Sichuan Province of China显示文摘Background:As a response to a severe HIV epidemic in the Liangshan Prefecture,one of the worst in China,population based HIV interventions,including two population-wide HIV screening,have been carried out since 2005 at two townships in a remote mountainous region of Liangshan.The objective of our mathematical modeling study is to assess the temporal dynamics of the HIV epidemic in the two townships based on the data collected in the study area during the period 2005e2010.Methods:A mathematical model was set up to describe the population dynamics of HIV transmission in study area.The model was calibrated by fitting it to the HIV testing and treatment data from 2005 to 2008.Validation of the model was done by comparing its predicted value of HIV prevalence in 2010 to the prevalence data obtained in the 2010 population wide HIV testing.The validated model was used to produce estimation of HIV incidence,prevalence and death.Results:Our model estimations show that population-based HIV interventions have significantly slowed down the rise of the HIV epidemic in the two townships.Over the five-year period from 2005 to 2010,the year-over-year rate of increase in HIV incidence,prevalence,and death has declined by 91.5%,28.7%,and 52.3%,respectively.Conclusion:Mathematical models,when integrated with epidemiological and surveillance data,can be an effective tool for predicting the temporal dynamics of HIV and assessing the impacts of HIV interventions.Zhimin Su Caiting Dong Ping Li Hongxia Deng Yuhan Gong Shiyong Zhong Min Wu Yuhua Ruan Guangming Qin Wen Yang Yiming Shao Michael Li 2016Infectious Disease Modelling2016,1,1:2
