1Wheat breeding history reveals synergistic selection of pleiotropic genomic sites for plant architecture and grain yield显示文摘Diversity surveys of crop germplasm are important for gaining insights into the genomic basis for plant architecture and grain yield improvement,which is still poorly understood in wheat.In this study,we exome sequenced 287 wheat accessions that were collected in the past 100 years.Population genetics analysis identified that 6.7%of the wheat genome falls within the selective sweeps between landraces and cultivars,which harbors the genes known for yield improvement.These regions were asymmetrically distributed on the A and B subgenomes with regulatory genes being favorably selected.Genome-wide association study(GWAS)identified genomic loci associated with traits for yield potential,and two underlying genes,TaARF12 encoding an auxin response factor and TaDEP1 encoding the G-proteinγ-subunit,were located and characterized to pleiotropically regulate both plant height and grain weight.Elite single-nucleotide haplotypes with increased allele frequency in cultivars relative to the landraces were identified and found to have accumulated over the course of breeding.Interestingly,we found that TaARF12 and TaDEP1 function in epistasis with the classical plant height Rht-1 locus,leading to propose a“Green Revolution”-based working model for historical wheat breeding.Collectively,our study identifies selection signatures that fine-tune the gibberellin pathway during modern wheat breeding and provides a wealth of genomic diversity resources for the wheat research community.Aili Li Chenyang Hao Zhenyu Wang Shuaifeng Geng Meiling Jia Fang Wang Xiang Han Xingchen Kong Lingjie Yin Shu Tao Zhongyin Deng Ruyi Liao Guoliang Sun Ke Wang Xingguo Ye Chengzhi Jiao Hongfeng Lu Yun Zhou Dengcai Liu Xiangdong Fu Xueyong Zhang Long Mao 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,3:4
2An elevated preoperative serum calcium level is a significant predictor for positive peritoneal cytology in endometrial carcinoma显示文摘Objective:To evaluate preoperative serum calcium concentration and investigate the association between calcium level and positive peritoneal cytology in endometrial carcinoma(EC).Methods:A total of 510 patients who were diagnosed with EC and had surgery were initially enrolled in this study at Peking University People's Hospital between January 2012 and December 2016.Clinical characteristics and preoperative serum calcium,albumin,carbohydrate antigen(CA)125,CA19-9,carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)were extracted from patient records and evaluated according to postoperative peritoneal cytology.Predictive factors were assessed with Cox univariate and multivariate analyses.Factors selected from multivariate analysis results were used to build a predictive model.Results:A total of 510 patients are identified in our database and 444 patients who fulfilled inclusion and exclusion criteria are included in this study.Univariate analysis revealed that ionized calcium concentration was closely related to positive peritoneal cytology,tumor grade and lymph-vascular space invasion(LVSI).Moreover,peritoneal cytology was significantly associated with hypertension,tubal ligation,serum CA125,CA19-9,CEA and ionized calcium level.Multivariate analysis revealed that albumin-adjusted calcium level,CA125 and tubal ligation were independent predictive factors of positive peritoneal cytology(P<0.05).A combination of ionized calcium level with the other two indexes yielded significantly great area under the curve(AUC=0.824).Conclusions:This study enhanced the value of preoperative ionized calcium level.We also identified several potential biomarkers to predict positive peritoneal cytology in EC patients before surgery.Xingchen Li Yuan Cheng Yangyang Dong Boqiang Shen Xiao Yang Jiaqi Wang Jingyi Zhou Jianliu Wang 2019Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,6:3

8Analysis on Pigment and Photosynthetic Characteristics of Leaves of New Strain of Rehmannia glutinosa显示文摘Through the analysis on the leaf color and photosynthetic characteristics of new strains and main cultivars of Rehmannia glutinosa,it is expected to provide theoretical basis for breeding of new varieties. Chlorophyll,anthocyanin,and net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatal conductance(Cond),transpiration rate(Tr),and intercellular CO2concentration(Ci) in 8 varieties of Rehmannia glutinosa were measured by spectrophotometer and LI-6400 XT Portable Photosynthesis System. The results showed that the chlorophyll content of Huaidijin 8(2. 84 mg/g),Huaidi 81(2. 71 mg/g),Huaidi 85-5(2. 69 mg/g),Jinjiu(2. 66 mg/g) and Huaidi 83(2. 63 mg/g) was higher; the anthocyanin content of Jinjiu(0. 169) and Huaidijin 8(0. 165) was higher,while the anthocyanin content Huaidi 83(0. 060) was the lowest; Pn of Huaidi81[2. 41 μmol/(m2·s) ],Huaidi 83[2. 37 μmol/(m2·s) ]and Huaidijin 8[2. 25 μmol/(m2·s) ]was higher,and the anthocyanin content was positively correlated with Pn,while the anthocyanin content was negatively correlated with Pn; Huaidijin 8 and Huaidi 83 showed dominant advantages in single plant fresh weight,indicator component,and resistance over the main cultivars. 9The soft glumes of common wheat are sterile-lemmas as determined by the domestication gene Q显示文摘The Q gene in common wheat encodes an APETALA2(AP2) transcription factor that causes the free threshing attribute. Wheat spikelets bearing several florets are subtended by a pair of soft glumes that allow free liberation of seeds. In wild species, the glumes are tough and rigid,making threshing difficult. However, the nature of these 'soft glumes', caused by the domestication allele Q is not clear. Here, we found that over expression of Q in common wheat leads to homeotic florets at glume positions. We provide phenotypic, microscopy, and marker genes evidence to demonstrate that the soft glumes of common wheat are in fact lemma-like organs, or so-called sterile-lemmas. By comparing the structures subtending spikelets in wheat and other crops such as rice and maize, we found that AP2 genes may play conserved functions in grasses by manipulating vestigial structures, such as floret-derived soft glumes in wheat and empty glumes in rice. 10Fluoride passivation of ZnO electron transport layers for efcient PbSe colloidal quantum dot photovoltaics显示文摘Lead selenide(PbSe)colloidal quantum dots(CQDs)are suitable for the development of the next-generation of photovoltaics(PVs)because of efcient multiple-exciton generation and strong charge coupling ability.To date,the reported high-efcient PbSe CQD PVs use spin-coated zinc oxide(ZnO)as the electron transport layer(ETL).However,it is found that the surface defects of ZnO present a difculty in completion of passivation,and this impedes the continuous progress of devices.To address this disadvantage,fuoride(F)anions are employed for the surface passivation of ZnO through a chemical bath deposition method(CBD).The F-passivated ZnO ETL possesses decreased densities of oxygen vacancy and a favorable band alignment.Benefting from these improvements,PbSe CQD PVs report an efciency of 10.04%,comparatively 9.4%higher than that of devices using sol-gel(SG)ZnO as ETL.We are optimistic that this interface passivation strategy has great potential in the development of solution-processed CQD optoelectronic devices.Jungang He You Ge Ya Wang Mohan Yuan Hang Xia Xingchen Zhang Xiao Chen Xia Wang Xianchang Zhou Kanghua Li Chao Chen Jiang Tang 2023Frontiers of Optoelectronics2023,16,3:0
11minimal genome design to maximally guarantee fertile inter-subspecific hybrid rice显示文摘Hybrid rice has made considerable contributions to achieve the ambitious goal of food security for the world's population.Hybrid rice from indica/xian and japonica/geng subspecies shows much higher heter-osis and is thereby an important innovation in promoting rice production in the next decade.However,such inter-subspecific hybrid rice has long suffered from serious hybrid sterility,which is a major challenge that needs to be addressed.In this study,we performed a genome design strategy to produce fertile inter-subspecific hybrid by creation of wide compatibility varieties that are able to overcome hybrid sterility.Based on combined genetic analyses in two indica-japonica crosses,we determined that four hybrid ste-rility loci,S5,f5,pf12 and Sc,are the major QTLs controlling inter-subspecific hybrid sterility and thus the minimal targets that can be manipulated for breeding sub-specific hybrid rice.We then cloned the pf12 lo-cus,one of the most effective loci for hybrid male sterility,by map-based cloning,and showed that artificial disruption of pf12A gene at this locus could successfully rescue hybrid fertility.We further dissected the genetic basis of wide compatibility using three pairwise crosses from a wide-compatibility variety Dular and representative indica and japonica varieties.On this basis,we constructed and assembled different combinations of naturally compatible alleles of four loci,S5,Sc,pf12,and f5,and found that the improved lines could fully recover pollen and embryo sac fertility in test-crossed F,s,thereby completely fulfilling the demands of inter-subspecific hybrid spikelet fertility in agricultural production.This breeding scheme would facilitate redesign of future inter-subspecific hybrid rice with a higher yield potential.Penghui Zhou Zhengji Wang Xingchen Zhu Yao Tang Liang Ye Huihui Yu Yating Li Ningke Zhang Ting Liu Tian Wang Yuying Wu Dengyun Cao Yuan Chen Xu Li Qinglu Zhang Jinghua Xiao Sibin Yu Qifa Zhang Jiaming Mi Yidan Ouyang 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,4:0
12Current Effect of“4+7”Drug Centralized Volume Procurement and Suggestions for Future Improvement显示文摘Objective To explore the impact of the“4+7”city drug centralized procurement policy implemented from April 1st,2019 on China’s pharmaceutical market and the differences between this pilot scheme and the first volume procurement,so as to put forward some suggestions for this policy and improve the drug price formation mechanism.Methods The characteristics of the“4+7”volume procurement policy and its improvements were summarized through literature research,and the distribution of the winning enterprises in volume procurement was shown by the chart.Then the overall situation of pharmaceutical enterprises in China was analyzed.Results and Conclusion According to the main distribution of enterprises in the alliance region,we can see that the first round of bid-winning enterprises with 25 varieties are mainly distributed in the eastern coastal cities of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shandong,and Guangdong,which shows a trend of developing to provinces of Sichuan,Hubei,and Hunan.With the increase of volume procurement inland cities will be included in the future.This pilot scheme of volume procurement is a reform of the entire pharmaceutical industry.It has improved the market structure and promoted the transformation and upgrading of regional medicine representatives.The most important thing is to enable the public to better enjoy the benefits brought by the low-priced drugs.However,for some pharmaceutical enterprises and drug retail industry,it is a challenge.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the policy and strengthen market supervision and management.Piao Huiling Wei Xingchen Wang Nan Wang Xing Zhou Yusheng Dong Li 2020Asian Journal of Social Pharmacy2020,15,4:0

14Artemisinins inhibit oral candidiasis caused by Candida albicans through the repression on its hyphal development显示文摘Candida albicans is the most abundant fungal species in oral cavity. As a smart opportunistic pathogen, it increases the virulence byswitching its forms from yeasts to hyphae and becomes the major pathogenic agent for oral candidiasis. However, the overuse ofcurrent clinical antifungals and lack of new types of drugs highlight the challenges in the antifungal treatments because of the drugresistance and side effects. Anti-virulence strategy is proved as a practical way to develop new types of anti-infective drugs. Here,seven artemisinins, including artemisinin, dihydroartemisinin, artemisinic acid, dihydroartemisinic acid, artesunate, artemether andarteether, were employed to target at the hyphal development, the most important virulence factor of C. albicans. Artemisininsfailed to affect the growth, but significantly inhibited the hyphal development of C. albicans, including the clinical azole resistantisolates, and reduced their damage to oral epithelial cells, while arteether showed the strongest activities. The transcriptomesuggested that arteether could affect the energy metabolism of C. albicans. Seven artemisinins were then proved to significantlyinhibit the productions of ATP and cAMP, while reduced the hyphal inhibition on RAS1 overexpression strain indicating thatartemisinins regulated the Ras1-cAMP-Efg1 pathway to inhibit the hyphal development. Importantly, arteether significantlyinhibited the fungal burden and infections with no systemic toxicity in the murine oropharyngeal candidiasis models in vivo causedby both fluconazole sensitive and resistant strains. 15Cross-correlation Forecast of CSST Spectroscopic Galaxy and MeerKAT Neutral Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Surveys显示文摘Cross-correlating the data on neutral hydrogen(HⅠ)21 cm intensity mapping with galaxy surveys is an effective method to extract astrophysical and cosmological information.In this work,we investigate the cross-correlation of MeerKAT single-dish mode HⅠintensity mapping and China Space Station Telescope(CSST)spectroscopic galaxy surveys.We simulate a survey area of~300 deg~2 of MeerKAT and CSST surveys at z=0.5 using MultiDark N-body simulation.The PC A algorithm is applied to remove the foregrounds of HⅠintensity mapping,and signal compensation is considered to solve the signal loss problem in HⅠ-galaxy cross power spectrum caused by the foreground removal process.We find that from CSST galaxy auto and MeerKAT-CSST cross power spectra,the constraint accuracy of the parameter productΩ_(HⅠ)b_(HⅠ)r_(HⅠ,g)can reach~1%,which is about one order of magnitude higher than the current results.After performing the full MeerKAT HⅠintensity mapping survey with5000 deg~2 survey area,the accuracy can be enhanced to<0.3%.This implies that the MeerKAT-CSST cross-correlation can be a powerful tool to probe the cosmic HⅠproperty and the evolution of galaxies and the Universe.Yu-Er Jiang Yan Gong Meng Zhang Qi Xiong Xingchen Zhou Furen Deng Xuelei Chen Yin-Zhe Ma Bin Yue 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,7:0
16Possible role of extracellular vesicles in exogenous chemical exposure-associated health concern显示文摘Extracellular vesicles(EVs) are mediators of intercellular message communication by transferring lipids, proteins, genetic materials, and are therefore involved in a wide spectrum of physiological or pathological processes. Exogenous chemicals exposure may affect the function of EVs at the biogenesis, secretion, transport or reception stage, which could further result in abnormal information communication between cells, and thus induce toxicity and diseases. 18Photometric Redshift Estimates using Bayesian Neural Networks in the CSST Survey显示文摘Galaxy photometric redshift(photoz)is crucial in cosmological studies,such as weak gravitational lensing and galaxy angular clustering measurements.In this work,we try to extract photoz information and construct its probability distribution function(PDF)using the Bayesian neural networks from both galaxy flux and image data expected to be obtained by the China Space Station Telescope(CSST).The mock galaxy images are generated from the Hubble Space Telescope-Advanced Camera for Surveys(HST-ACS)and COSMOS catalogs,in which the CSST instrumental effects are carefully considered.In addition,the galaxy flux data are measured from galaxy images using aperture photometry.We construct a Bayesian multilayer perceptron(B-MLP)and Bayesian convolutional neural network(B-CNN)to predict photoz along with the PDFs from fluxes and images,respectively.We combine the B-MLP and B-CNN together,and construct a hybrid network and employ the transfer learning techniques to investigate the improvement of including both flux and image data.For galaxy samples with signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)>10 in g or i band,we find the accuracy and outlier fraction of photoz can achieve σ_(NMAD)=0.022 and η=2.35% for the B-MLP using flux data only,and σ_(NMAD)=0.022 and η=1.32% for the B-CNN using image data only.The Bayesian hybrid network can achieve σ_(NMAD)=0.021 and η=1.23%,and utilizing transfer learning technique can improve results to σ_(NMAD)=0.019 and η=1.17%,which can provide the most confident predictions with the lowest average uncertainty.Xingchen Zhou Yan Gong Xian-Min Meng Xuelei Chen Zhu Chen Wei Du Liping Fu Zhijian Luo 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,11:0
