| 6 | Efficacy of Shenzhuo formula on diabetic kidney disease:a retrospective study显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy of a traditional Chinese medicine,Shenzhuo formula,on patients with diabetic kidney disease(DKD).METHODS:Eighty-eight outpatients with DKD were enrolled.Changes in estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR),creatinine clearance,serum creatinine,blood-urea-nitrogen,albuminuria,glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb_(A1C)),blood pressure,and lipid profile were measured and analyzed before and after intervention with Shenzhuo formula for 1,3,6,9,12,and 18 months.RESULTS:Compared with the baseline amounts,serum creatinine decreased,and eGFR and creatinine clearance increased,significantly after intervention for 1,3,6,9,12,and 18 months(all P < 0.05).Mean eGFR increased by 2.11 mL/min per 1.73 m7 y after18-month treatment.Urinary protein at 24 h decreased significantly after 1,3,9,and 12 months(P < 0.05).Hb_(A1C) decreased significantly(P < 0.05) after 3,6,9,12,and 18 months,and systolic blood pressure decreased significantly(P < 0.05) after 1,3,and 6 months.Total cholesterol decreased significantly(P < 0.05) after 1,3,6,and 18 months.Triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol decreased significantly(P < 0.05) after 1 and 3 months.CONCLUSION:Shenzhuo formula can improve eGFR and possibly slow DKD progression.Shenzhuo formula can also lower Hb_(A1C),lipid levels and blood pressure. | Tian Jiaxing Zhao Linhua Zhou Qiang Liu Wenke Chen Xinyan Lian Fengmei Tong Xiaolin | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5: | 8 |

| 10 | Precoder Design and Impulsive Noise Mitigation Scheme for Industrial Wireless Communications显示文摘In industrial wireless scenarios,the impulsive noise(IN)incurred by machine running or operation causes a serious influence on the powerlimited industrial wireless communications.It is challenging to ensure efficient and reliable transmission with quality of service(QoS)guarantee for machinetype communication devices(MTCDs).Considering the IN in the industrial process,this paper establishes the multiuser multiple-input single-output(MU-MISO)orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)system model,which combines transmitter and receiver design.Two precoding schemes are designed to improve communication effectiveness at the transmitter.More specifically,the precoder design scheme which combines semi-definite relaxation(SDR)with difference-of-two-convex-function(D.C.)iterative algorithm,is developed by utilizing the Dinkelbach method to improve the system effectiveness.To decrease the computational complexity,we devise the quadratic-based fractional programming(QFP)algorithm,which decouples the variables by using a quadratic transform method.On this basis,the IN mitigation scheme is studied to reduce the system error rate(SER)at the receiver.With the goal of improving the reliability of industrial wireless communications,we propose a hybrid nonlinear IN mitigation(HNINM)scheme and then derive its closed-form expression of SER.The simulation results show that the proposed QFP algorithm achieves superior performance while the HNINM scheme decreases the SER of industrial wireless communications. | Yanjing Sun Xinyan Li Jiasi Zhou Ruirui Chen BowenWang Yanfen Wang | 2021 | China Communications2021,18,4: | 1 |
| 11 | Molecular genetic analysis of phosphomannomutase genes in Triticum monococcum显示文摘In higher plants, phosphomannomutase(PMM) is essential for synthesizing the antioxidant ascorbic acid through the Smirnoff–Wheeler pathway. Previously, we characterized six PMM genes(Ta PMM-A1, A2, B1, B2, D1 and D2) in common wheat(Triticum aestivum, AABBDD).Here, we report a molecular genetic analysis of PMM genes in Triticum monococcum(AmAm), a diploid wheat species whose Amgenome is closely related to the A genome of common wheat. Two distinct PMM genes, Tm PMM-1 and Tm PMM-2, were found in T. monococcum. The coding region of Tm PMM-1 was intact and highly conserved. In contrast, two main Tm PMM-2 alleles were identified, with Tm PMM-2a possessing an intact coding sequence and Tm PMM-2b being a pseudogene. The transcript level of Tm PMM-2a was much higher than that of Tm PMM-2b, and a bacterially expressed Tm PMM-2a recombinant protein displayed relatively high PMM activity. In general, the total transcript level of PMM was substantially higher in accessions carrying Tm PMM-1 and Tm PMM-2a than those harboring Tm PMM-1 and Tm PMM-2b. However, total PMM protein and activity levels did not differ drastically between the two genotypes. | 14 | Whole-brain patterns of the presynaptic inputs and axonal projections of BDNF neurons in the paraventricular nucleus显示文摘Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) plays a crucial role in human obesity. Yet, the neural circuitry supporting the BDNF-mediated control of energy homeostasis remains largely undefined. To map key regions that might provide inputs to or receive inputs from the paraventricular nucleus (PVN) BDNF neurons, a key type of cells in regulating feeding and thermogenesis, we used rabies virus-based transsynaptic labeling and adeno-associated virus based anterograde tracing techniques to reveal their whole-brain distributions. We found that dozens of brain regions provide dense inputs to or receive dense inputs from PVN BDNF neurons, including several known weight control regions and several novel regions that might be functionally important for the BDNF-mediated regulation of energy homeostasis.Interestingly, several regions show very dense reciprocal connections with PVN BDNF neurons, including the lateral septum, the preoptic area, the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus, the paraventricular thalamic nucleus, the zona incerta, the lateral parabrachial nucleus, the subiculum, the raphe magnus nucleus, and the raphe pallidus nucleus. These strong anatomical connections might be indicative of important functional connections. | 17 | AstragalosideⅣplays a role in reducing radiation-induced liver inflammation in mice by inhibiting thioredoxin-interacting protein/nod-like receptor protein 3 signaling pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Astragaloside IV(AS-IV)on radiation-induced liver inflammation in mice.METHODS:The mice were divided into normal group,dimethyl sulfoxide solvent group,irradiation group(IR),irradiation+AS-IV(20 mg/kg)group(IR+AS-20)and irradiation+AS-IV(40 mg/kg)group(IR+AS-40).One month after intraperitoneal injection of AS-IV,the mice were irradiated with 8Gry Co60γ,the blood was collected for biochemical analysis,and the liver was collected for hematoxylin-eosin staining,immunofluorescence and electron microscopic observation,oxidative stress,and Western blot analysis.RESULTS:The AS-IV treatment significantly ameliorated the pathological morphology of liver and reduced the alanine aminotransferase and aspertate aminotransferase levels in serum induced by radiation;AS-IV treatment also significantly reduced the expression of inflammatory factors tumor necrosis factor alpha and interleukin 6 and antagonized malonaldehyde content and superoxide dismutase activity in liver caused by radiation;in addition,AS-IV treatment can significantly inhibited the positive expression of thioredoxin-interacting protein(TXNIP)and nod-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome in liver tissue after radiation;The expression of TXNIP,NLRP3 inflammasome,apoptosisassociated speck-like protein containing a CARD,cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinase 1 and interleukin 1beta in the AS-IV prevention group decreased significantly compared to the radiation group.CONCLUSIONS:These findings suggested that Co60γradiation can cause structural and functional damage to the liver,which may be related to the NLRP3 mediated inflammatory pathway;AS-IV may play a protective role by inhibiting the TXNIP/NLRP3 inflammasome signaling pathway in the radiation-induced liver injury model. | DING Yanping DONG Xiaoqing MA Yifan CHEN Lili ZHOU Jie LI Xinyan SHAO Baoping | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1: | 1 |
