1Vertical displacement loading tides and self-attraction and loading tides in the Bohai, Yellow, and East China Seas显示文摘The loading tides are calculated by means of the Green's function method based on a high-resolution regional ocean tide model, the TOPO7.0 global ocean tide model, and the Gutenberg-Bullen A Earth model. The results show that the maximal amplitude of M2 vertical displacement loading (VDL) tide in the Bohai, Yellow, and East China Seas exceeding 28mm appears 150km off the Zhejiang coast; the second maximum exceeding 20mm appears in Inchon Bay; and the third maximum exceeding 14mm is located in the northeast of the North Yellow Sea. The maximal amplitudes of S2 VDL tide at the above three locations exceed 10, 8, and 4mm, respectively. The maximal amplitudes of the K1 and O1 VDL tides, exceeding 13 and 10 mm respectively, appear near the central and north Ryukyu Islands; the amplitudes tend to decease toward the inward areas. The phases of semidiurnal VDL tides are basically opposite to those of corresponding ocean tides. The phases of diurnal VDL tides are basically opposite to those of corresponding ocean tides in the most part of the East China Sea and the eastern part of the South Yellow Sea. This anti-phase relationship generally does not hold in the rest parts of the Bohai and Yellow Seas. The distribution patterns of self-attraction and loading (SAL) tides are very similar to those of VDL tides. The SAL tides have amplitudes about 1.2-1.7 times of the corresponding VDL tides and their phases are basically opposite to the corresponding VDL tides. 2Cotidal charts and tidal power input atlases of the global ocean from TOPEX/Poseidon and JASON-1 altimetry显示文摘The global distributions of eight principal tidal constituents, M_2 , S_2 , K_1 , O_1 , N_2 , K_2 , P_1 , and Q_1 , are derived using TOPEX/Poseidon and JASON-1(T/P-J) satellite altimeter data for 16 a. The intercomparison of the derived harmonics at 7000 subsatellite track crossover points shows that the root mean square (RMS) values of the tidal height differences of the above eight constituents range from 1.19 cm to 2.67 cm, with an average of about 2 cm. The RMS values of the tidal height differences between T/P-J solutions and the harmonics from ground measurements at 152 tidal gauge stations for the above constituents range from 0.34 cm to 1.08 cm, and the relative deviations range from 0.031 to 0.211. The root sum square of the RMS differences of these eight constituents is 2.12 cm, showing the improvement of the present model over the existing global ocean tidal models. Based on the obtained tidal model the global ocean tidal energetics is studied and the global distribution of the tidal power input density by tide-generating force of each constituent is calculated, showing that the power input source regions of semidiurnal tides are mainly concentrated in the tropical belt between 30 S and 30 N, while the power input source regions of diurnal tides are mainly concentrated off the tropic oceans. The global energy dissipation rates of the M_2 , S_2 , K_1 , O_1 , N_2 , P_1 , K_2 and Q_1 tides are 2.424, 0.401, 0.334, 0.160, 0.113, 0.035, 0.030 and 0.006 TW, respectively. 3DNA methylome and transcriptome landscapes revealed differential characteristics of dioecious flowers in papaya显示文摘Separate sexes in dioecious plants display different morphology and physiological characteristics.The differences between the two sexes lie in their highly differentiated floral characteristics and in sex-related phenotype,which is genetically determined and epigenetically modified.In dioecious papaya(Carica papaya L.),global comparisons of epigenetic DNA methylation and gene expressions were still limited.We conducted bisulfite sequencing of early-stage flowers grown in three seasons(spring,summer and winter)and compared their methylome and transcriptome profiles to investigate the differential characteristics of male and female in papaya.Methylation variances between female and male papaya were conserved among three different seasons.However,combined genome-scale transcriptomic evidence revealed that most methylation variances did not have influence on the expression profiles of neighboring genes,and the differentially expressed genes were most overrepresented in phytohormone signal transduction pathways.Further analyses showed diverse stress-responsive methylation alteration in male and female flowers.Male flower methylation was more responsive to stress whereas female flower methylation varied less under stress.Early flowering of male papaya in spring might be associated with the variation in the transcription of CpSVP and CpAP1 coinciding with their gene-specific hypomethylation.These findings provide insights into the sex-specific DNA methylation and gene expression landscapes of dioecious papaya and a foundation to investigate the correlation between differentiated floral characteristics and their candidate genes.Ping Zhou Xiaodan Zhang Mahpara Fatima Xinyi Ma Hongkun Fang Hansong Yan Ray Ming 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2
4Risk stratification in symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic disease with conventional vascular risk factors and cerebral haemodynamics显示文摘Background and purpose Symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(sICAS)is associated with a considerable risk of recurrent stroke despite contemporarily optimal medical treatment.Severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS and its haemodynamic significance quantified with computational fluid dynamics(CFD)models were associated with the risk of stroke recurrence.We aimed to develop and compare stroke risk prediction nomograms in sICAS,based on vascular risk factors and these metrics.Methods Patients with 50%-99%sICAS confirmed in CT angiography(CTA)were enrolled.Conventional vascular risk factors were collected.Severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS was dichotomised as moderate(50%-69%)and severe(70%-99%).Translesional pressure ratio(PR)and wall shear stress ratio(WSSR)were quantified via CTA-based CFD modelling;the haemodynamic status of sICAS was classified as normal(normal PR&WSSR),intermediate(otherwise)and abnormal(abnormal PR&WSSR).All patients received guideline-recommended medical treatment.We developed and compared performance of nomograms composed of these variables and independent predictors identified in multivariate logistic regression,in predicting the primary outcome,recurrent ischaemic stroke in the same territory(SIT)within 1 year.Results Among 245 sICAS patients,20(8.2%)had SIT.The D2H2A nomogram,incorporating diabetes,dyslipidaemia,haemodynamic status of sICAS,hypertension and age≥50 years,showed good calibration(P for Hosmer-Lemeshow test=0.560)and discrimination(C-statistic 0.73,95%CI 0.60 to 0.85).It also had better performance in risk reclassification and provided larger net benefits in decision curve analysis,compared with nomograms composed of conventional vascular risk factors only,and plus the severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS.Sensitivity analysis in patients with anterior-circulation sICAS showed similar results.Conclusions The D2H2A nomogram,incorporating conventional vascular risk factors and the haemodynamic significance of sICAS as assessed in CFD models,could be a useful tool to stratify sICAS patients for the risk of recurrent stroke under contemporarily optimal medical treatment.Xuan Tian Hui Fang Linfang Lan Hing Lung Ip Jill Abrigo Haipeng Liu Lina Zheng Florence S Y Fan Sze Ho Ma Bonaventure Ip Bo Song Yuming Xu Jingwei Li Bing Zhang Yun Xu Yannie O Y Soo Vincent Mok Ka Sing Wong Thomas W Leung Xinyi Leng 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,1:2
5Blue-to-green manipulation of carbon dots from fluorescence to ultralong room-temperature phosphorescence for high-level anti-counterfeiting显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs) with fluorescence(FL) and room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP) optical properties have attracted dramatically growing interest in anti-counterfeiting application. Herein, color-tunable and stable FL and ultralong RTP(to naked eyes ~14 s) are successfully achieved in CDs system. Encoding information and patterns fabricated by directly screen-printing method are invisible to eyes under natural light. 6Diagnostic Value of Quantitative Parameters of DCE-MRI in Endometrial Carcinoma and Its Correlation with Clinicopathological Factors显示文摘In the study,108 patients with endometrial cancer were selected as the observation group,and 105 patients with benign endometrial lesions were selected as the control group.After DCE-MRI examination,it was found that the volume transfer constant(K^(trans)),rate constant(K_(e))and extracellular space volume ratio(V_(e))in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The area under curve(AUC)of combined K^(trans),K_(e) and V_(e) values in the diagnosis of endometrial cancer was 0.841.The values of K^(trans),K_(e )and V_(e) were positively correlated with the clinical stage and the degree of muscular invasion,but negatively correlated with the degree of differentiation(P<0.05).The results of the study suggested that DCE-MRI quantitative parameters have a certain value in the differential diagnosis of endometrial cancer,which helped to further distinguish the degree of muscular invasion,clinical stage,and differentiation of endometrial cancer patients.Xinyi Fang 2020Advances in Modern Oncology Research2020,6,2:1
7Effect of Metallothionein on Cell Cycle,Apoptosis Rate and Subsets Distribution of Lymphocytes in Peripheral Blood of Dairy Cattle under Heat Stress显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to research the effect of metallothionein on cell cycle,apoptosis rate and subsets distribution of lymphocytes in peripheral blood of dairy cows under heat stress,so as to perfect the regulative mechanism researches of MT to anti-heat stress.[Method]Twenty lactating Chinese Holstein cows were randomly divided into four groups(A,B,C and D),and injected with 0,4.0,8.0 and 12.0 mg Zn-metallothionein,respectively by intravenous route.Blood samples were collected at 1st,16th,31st,46thand 61stday,and the dynamic changes of cell cycle,apoptosis rate and subsets distribution of lymphocytes were determined.[Result]The apoptosis rate of cells in group B and C was lower than those in group A by 26.63%(P>0.05)and 24.84%(P>0.05)respectively.The number of cells in the G0/G1phage in trial groups was increased and the number of cells in the S and G2/M phages tended to decrease,but there were no significant differences(P>0.05).The number of CD3+T cell in three trial groups was greater than those in group A by 7.02%(P>0.05),5.45%(P>0.05)and 3.85%(P>0.05)respectively,while the number of CD4+T cell in trial groups was higher than those in control group by31.04%(P<0.05),35.68%(P<0.05)and 39.34%(P<0.05)respectively.The number of CD8+T cell and the levels of CD4+/CD8+in trial groups were increased observably,but significant difference(P<0.05)was observed in the levels of CD4+/CD8+between groups A and C only.It demonstrated that exogenous Zn-metallothionein can decrease apoptosis rate,improve cell cycle and regulate subsets distribution of lymphocytes in dairy cattle in a dose-dependent manner.[Conclusion]This study will provide scientific basis for safe utilization of MT in dairy industry.Jiajie LUO Lili LI Bin ZHANG LiZhuan WU Zijun LI Ying PENG JueXin FAN XinYi LAN JinShun ZHAN Jun FANG 2013Agricultural Science & Technology2013,14,10:1

12Development and validation of InDel markers for identification of QTL underlying flowering time in soybean显示文摘Soybean [Glycine max(L.) Merrill] is a major plant source of protein and oil. An accurate and well-saturated molecular linkage map is a prerequisite for forward genetic studies of gene function and for modern breeding for many useful agronomic traits. Next-generation sequence data available in public databases provides valuable information and offers new insights for rapid and efficient development of molecular markers. In this study, we attempted to show the feasibility and facility of using genomic resequencing data as raw material for identifying putative In Del markers. First, we identified 17,613 In Del sites among 56 soybean accessions and obtained 12,619 primer pairs. Second, we constructed a genetic map with a random subset of 2841 primer pairs and aligned 300 polymorphic markers with the 20 consensus linkage groups(LG). The total genetic distance was 2347.3 c M and the number of mapped markers per LG ranged from 10 to 23 with an average of 15 markers. The largest and smallest genetic distances between adjacent markers were 52.3 c M and 0.1 cM, respectively. Finally, we validated the genetic map constructed by newly developed In Del markers by QTL analysis of days to flowering(DTF) under different environments. One major QTL(qDTF4) and four minor QTL(qDTF20, qDTF13, qDTF12,and q DTF11) on 5 LGs were detected. 14Immediate and long-term outcomes after treat-all among people living with HIV in China:an interrupted time series analysis显示文摘Background In 2003,China implemented free antiretroviral therapy(ART)for people living with HIV(PLHIV),establishing an eligibility threshold of CD4<200 cells/μl.Subsequently,the entry criteria were revised in 2012(eligibility threshold:CD4≤350 cells/μl),2014(CD4≤500 cells/μl),and 2016(treat-all).However,the impact of treat-all policy on HIV care and treatment indicators in China is unknown.We aimed to elucidate the immediate and long-term impact of the implementation of treat-all policy in China.Methods Anonymized programmatic data on ART initiation and collection in PLHIV who newly started ART were retrieved between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2019,from two provincial and municipal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ten major infectious disease hospitals specialized in HIV care in China.We used Poisson and quasi-Poisson segmented regression models to estimate the immediate and long-term impact of treat-all on three key indicators:monthly proportion of 30-day ART initiation,mean CD4 counts(cells/μl)at ART initiation,and mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis(year).We built separate models according to gender,age,route of transmission and region.Results Monthly data on ART initiation and collection were available for 75,516 individuals[gender:83.8%males;age:median 39 years,interquartile range(IQR):28-53;region:18.5%Northern China,10.9%Northeastern China,17.5%Southern China,49.2%Southwestern China].In the first month of treat-all,compared with the contemporaneous counterfactual,there was a significant increase in proportion of 30-day ART initiation[+12.6%,incidence rate ratio(IRR)=1.126,95%CI:1.033-1.229;P=0.007]and mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis(+7.0%,IRR=1.070,95%CI:1.021-1.120;P=0.004),while there was no significant change in mean CD4 at ART initiation(IRR=0.990,95%CI:0.956-1.026;P=0.585).By December 2019,the three outcomes were not significantly different from expected levels.In the stratified analysis,compared with the contemporaneous counterfactual,mean CD4 at ART initiation showed significant increases in Northern China(+3.3%,IRR=1.033,95%CI:1.001-1.065;P=0.041)and Northeastern China(+8.0%,IRR=1.080,95%CI:1.003-1.164;P=0.042)in the first month of treat-all;mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis showed significant increases in male(+5.6%,IRR=1.056,95%CI:1.010-1.104;P=0.016),female(+14.8%,IRR=1.148,95%CI:1.062-1.240;P<0.001),aged 26-35(+5.3%,IRR=1.053,95%CI:1.001-1.109;P=0.048)and>50(+7.8%,IRR=1.078,95%CI:1.000-1.161;P=0.046),heterosexual transmission(+12.4%,IRR=1.124,95%CI:1.042-1.213;P=0.002)and Southwestern China(+12.9%,IRR=1.129,95%CI:1.055-1.208;P<0.001)in the first month of treat-all.Conclusions The implementation of treat-all policy in China was associated with a positive effect on HIV care and treatment outcomes.To advance the work of rapid ART,efforts should be made to streamline the testing and ART initiation process,provide comprehensive support services,and address the issue of uneven distribution of medical resources.Xinsheng Wu Guohui Wu Ping Ma Rugang Wang Linghua Li Yinghui Sun Junjie Xu Yuwei Li Tong Zhang Quanmin Li Yuecheng Yang Lijing Wang Xiaoli Xin Ying Qiao Bingxue Fang Zhen Lu Xinyi Zhou Yuanyi Chen Qi Liu Gengfeng Fu Hongxia Wei Xiaojie Huang Bin Su Hui Wang Huachun Zou 2023Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,4:0
15Pangenome of water caltrop reveals structural variations and asymmetric subgenome divergence after allopolyploidization显示文摘Water caltrop(Trapa spp.,Lythraceae)is a traditional but currently underutilized non-cereal crop.Here,we generated chromosome-level genome assemblies for the two diploid progenitors of allotetraploid Trapa.natans(4x,AABB),i.e.,diploid T.natans(2x,AA)and Trapa incisa(2x,BB).In conjunction with four published(sub)genomes of Trapa,we used gene-based and graph-based pangenomic approaches and a pangenomic transposable element(TE)library to develop Trapa genomic resources.The pangenome displayed substantial gene-content variationwith dispensable and private gene clusters occupying a large proportion(51.95%)of the total cluster sets in the six(sub)genomes.Genotyping of presence-absence variation(PAVs)identified 40453 PAVs associated with 2570 genes specific to A-or B-lineages,of which 1428were differentially expressed,andwere enriched in organ development process,organic substancemetabolic process and response to stimulus.Comparative genome analyses showed that the allotetraploid T.natans underwent asymmetric subgenome divergence,with the B-subgenome being more dominant than the A-subgenome.Multiple factors,including PAVs,asymmetrical amplification of TEs,homeologous exchanges(HEs),and homeolog expression divergence,together affected genome evolution after polyploidization.Overall,this study sheds lights on the genome architecture and evolution of Trapa,and facilitates its functional genomic studies and breeding program.Xinyi Zhang Yang Chen Lingyun Wang Ye Yuan Mingya Fang Lin Shi Ruisen Lu Hans Peter Comes Yazhen Ma Yuanyuan Chen Guizhou Huang Yongfeng Zhou Zhaisheng Zheng Yingxiong Qiu 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,11:0
16Revisiting the anchoring behavior in lithium-sulfur batteries:many-body effect on the suppression of shuttle effect显示文摘We apply the state-of-the-art many-body dispersion(MBD)method to study the anchoring behavior in lithium-sulfur(Li–S)batteries,which is closely related to the notorious“shuttle effect”.Based on the experimental results of metal sulfides(FeS and SnS_(2)),we find that the MBD method gives a more accurate prediction of anchoring mechanism compared with other van der Waals(vdW)inclusive methods.We systematically investigate the anchoring mechanism of two prototypal anchoring materials—Ti_(2)CF_(2) and doped-graphene systems.The many-body effect is found to play an important role on the reduction of anchoring behaviors,especially when the systems have large polarization and the vdW interactions predominate the anchoring behavior.Our work deepens the fundamental understanding of the anchoring mechanism,and provides a more accurate criterion for screening anchoring materials for suppressing the shuttle effect.Min Fang Xinyi Liu Ji-Chang Ren Sha Yang Guirong Su Qin Fang Jianzhong Lai Shuang Li Wei Liu 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:0
17Effect of calcination process on performance of 3DOM CeMnO3 catalysts显示文摘A series of 3DOM CeMnO3 perovskite catalysts were prepared by poly(methyl methacrylate)hardtemplating-excessive impregnation method at calcination temperature of x℃(x=600,700,800)and the heating rate of y℃/min(y=1,2,5,10).The samples were characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,H2-temperature programmed reduction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,moreover,the effect of the calcination process on the catalytic activity of the samples were discussed by the catalytic combustion of toluene.The results show that the 3DOM CeMnO3 catalysts calcined at 600℃promote the formation of a perovskite structure,inhibit the reduction of the Mn4+species in the catalyst with high temperature.The catalyst expresses the complete macroporous structure,large specific surface area(38.8 m^(2)/g),higher adsorption oxygen concentration and Mn4+substance concentration,with a low T90%=172℃.By preparing the catalysts at different calcination heating rates,it can be concluded that the catalyst possesses a high concentration of adsorbed oxygen and a low reduction temperature and a large specific surface area(40.42 m^(2)/g)greatly promotes adsorption stage catalytic oxidation reaction and catalytic combustion of toluene at low temperature under the heating rate of 5℃/min.When the heating rate is 1℃/min,the catalyst has a complete macroporous structure(>250 nm),which is beneficial to the exchange of macromolecular substances during the catalytic reaction and the catalyst has a high concentration of lattice oxygen suitable for the catalysis of toluene in high temperature flue gas combustion.Xin Liu Xinyi Lv Yongqiang Wang Chaocheng Zhao Fang Liu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,9:0
18Seasonal Variation of the Sea Surface Temperature Growth Rate of ENSO显示文摘El Ni?o–Southern Oscillation(ENSO) exhibits a distinctive phase-locking characteristic, first expressed during its onset in boreal spring, developing during summer and autumn, reaching its peak towards winter, and decaying over the next spring. Several studies have demonstrated that this feature arises as a result of seasonal variation in the growth rate of ENSO as expressed by the sea surface temperature(SST). The bias towards simulating the phase locking of ENSO by many state-of-the-art climate models is also attributed to the unrealistic depiction of the growth rate. In this study, the seasonal variation of SST growth rate in the Ni?o-3.4 region(5°S–5°N, 120°–170°W) is estimated in detail based on the mixed layer heat budget equation and recharge oscillator model during 1981–2020. It is suggested that the consideration of a variable mixed layer depth is essential to its diagnostic process. The estimated growth rate has a remarkable seasonal cycle with minimum rates occurring in spring and maximum rates evident in autumn. More specifically, the growth rate derived from the meridional advection(surface heat flux) is positive(negative) throughout the year. Vertical diffusion generally makes a negative contribution to the evolution of growth rate and the magnitude of vertical entrainment represents the smallest contributor.
