1中国西部绿色发展概念框架显示文摘综合绿色发展的国际经验,以自然资本、经济资本、社会资本与人力资本四大资本为核心,提出了中国西部地区绿色发展概念框架。中国西部地区绿色发展概念框架是以'发展中促转变,转变中谋发展'的良性循环发展原则为指导原则,分析西部地区社会经济发展及生态环境和自然资源保护两个方面在发展过程中相互促进和制约的关系,并根据西部地区当前经济资本、环境资本、社会资本以及人力资本数量,通过政府适当干预,如区域规划、区内调整,最终实现社会经济与生态环境和自然资源相协调的绿色发展。该框架综合考虑了中国西部在绿色发展道路上特有挑战与机遇,阐明了社会经济发展与资源环境承载力之间的相互作用机制,明确了中国西部地区'生态友好、社会包容和内生增长'的绿色发展目标。最后,本文针对该绿色发展框架提出了中国西部地区绿色发展的政策建议:提出'西部地区绿色发展战略'是当前西部地区绿色发展进程中最为迫切的需求,中央政府应当尽快制定和实施'西部地区绿色发展战略',同时西部地区政府在省级和地方层面将保护中国西部生态环境与区域扶贫开发相结合,加大对以提升西部地区人力资本为目的的各类工程的投入,强化区域绿色基础建设和生态服务供给,缓解西部地区贫困,提升区域绿色发展进程的速度和质量;开展财政体制机制改革,以提高各级财政资金的使用效率;结合各省发展需求与条件实施以生态城市为发展目标的可持续城镇化发展模式,制定差异化的城镇化发展战略;在西部地区重点和限制开发区尤其是贫困集中和区域发展潜力较大地区,鼓励具有区域特色的新型绿色产业的发展。在发展过程中不断加强制度创新以引导长期绿色发展。刘纪远 邓祥征 刘卫东 李海英 Robyn KRUK Derek THOMPSON Peishen WANG Xuemei BAI 2013中国人口·资源与环境2013,23,10:75
2Differential expression of serum miR-126,miR-141 and miR-21 as novel biomarkers for early detection of liver metastasis in colorectal cancer显示文摘Objective:MicroRNAs(miRNAs) have potential as diagnostic biomarkers in cancer.Evaluation of the association between miRNA expression patterns and early detection of liver metastasis in colorectal cancer(CRC) has not been reported.Methods:We investigated the expression of metastasis-associated miRs-31,335,206,141,126,200b,200c,21,Let7a,Let7b and Let7c in localized,liver-metastatic and other organ-metastatic CRC(OM-CRC).Expressions of target miRNAs in serum were evaluated in 116 consecutive localized CRC(L-CRC),72 synchronous liver-metastatic CRC(SLM-CRC) and 36 other OM-CRC by quantitative real-time PCR.Results:Seven of 11 tested miRNAs could be detected from serum.Four miRNAs,miR-126,Let-7a,miR-141 and miR-21 were identified as metastasis-associated miRNAs.Compared with L-CRC,significant upregulated expression was observed for miR-141 and miR-21 in SLM-CRC and OM-CRC,down-regulated expression was observed for miR-126 in SLM-CRC and OM-CRC,and up-regulated expression of Let-7a in OM-CRC.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve showed serum miR-126 had a cut-off [log 10 relative quantity(log 10 RQ)=–0.2005] with 77.78% sensitivity and 68.97% specificity with an area under curve(AUC) of 0.7564,miR-141 had a cut-off(log 10 RQ=–0.2285) with 86.11% sensitivity and 76.11% specificity with an AUC of 0.8279,and miR-21 had a cut-off(log 10 RQ=–0.1310) with 73.61% sensitivity and 66.38% specificity with an AUC of 0.7479.Conclusions:We identified liver metastasis-associated miRNAs,suggesting serum miR-126,miR-141 and miR-21 may be novel biomarkers for clinical diagnosis of early stage liver-metastatic CRC.Jie Yin Zhigang Bai Jianning Song Yun Yang Jin Wang Wei Han Jun Zhang Hua Meng Xuemei Ma Yao Yang Tingting Wang Weirong Li Zhongtao Zhang 2014Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2014,26,1:22

5Recently duplicated sesterterpene(C25) gene clusters in Arabidopsis thaliana modulate root microbiota显示文摘Land plants co-speciate with a diversity of continually expanding plant specialized metabolites(PSMs) and root microbial communities(microbiota).Homeostatic interactions between plants and root microbiota are essential for plant survival in natural environments.A growing appreciation of microbiota for plant health is fuelling rapid advances in genetic mechanisms of controlling microbiota by host plants.PSMs have long been proposed to mediate plant and single microbe interactions.However,the effects of PSMs,especially those evolutionarily new PSMs,on root microbiota at community level remain to be elucidated.Here,we discovered sesterterpenes in Arabidopsis thaliana,produced by recently duplicated prenyltransferase-terpene synthase(PT-TPS) gene clusters,with neo-functionalization.A single-residue substitution played a critical role in the acquisition of sesterterpene synthase(sesterTPS) activity in Brassicaceae plants.Moreover,we found that the absence of two root-specific sesterterpenoids,with similar chemical structure,significantly affected root microbiota assembly in similar patterns.Our results not only demonstrate the sensitivity of plant microbiota to PSMs but also establish a complete framework of host plants to control root microbiota composition through evolutionarily dynamic PSMs.Qingwen Chen Ting Jiang Yong-Xin Liu Haili Liu Tao Zhao Zhixi Liu Xiangchao Gan Asis Hallab Xuemei Wang Juan He Yihua Ma Fengxia Zhang Tao Jin M. 7Welfare effects of rural-urban land conversion on different aged land-lost farmers:exemplified in Wuhan city显示文摘Rural-urban land conversion is a universal phenomenon in the rapid process of economic development and urban growth.The welfare of farmers who lost their farmland attracted a widespread concern within the society and academia.However,further research about differentiated policies according to the characteristics of different farmer groups is still need to be conducted.This article divides the land-lost farmers into three age groups:younger than 45,45-65,and more than 65.It proposes a welfare index system including eight functional areas based on different age groups of affected farmers,taking four districts of Wuhan City as case study area.Fuzzy mathematics method is used to derive the aggregated welfare effect index.Our analysis show that the overall welfare levels of land-lost farmers of all age groups declined,but with a varying degree,with the level of welfare in those farmers who are 45-65 years old,younger than 45 years old,and older than 65 years old decreased by 18.7%,16.6%,and 12.7%,respectively.The direction and degree of effects on the functional activity index varies among different groups.Economic conditions,living environment,health,and social participation of all age groups decrease while social security and housing conditions increase.On the other hand,development opportunities,social communication,and leisure have different changing directions in different age stages.These results call for differentiated and tailor-made compensation policies for land-lost farmers,towards improving the welfare levels of all farmers and reduce the disparity among them.Kaili Peng Xuemei Bai 2016Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2016,16,1:3
8Enhancing sensing capacity of terahertz metamaterial absorbers with a surface-relief design显示文摘Metamaterial absorbers(MAs)serve as important electromagnetic wave-absorbing devices that have captured the attention of researchers for a long term.Functioning as sensitive detectors to determine perturbations in an ambient environment is another significant subsidiary function.Here,we theoretically propose an optimized fabrication method to implement terahertz MAs with fewer steps and also evaluate both absorption and sensing performances of such MAs realized by the new method.Simulation findings demonstrate that such MAs can basically maintain the original absorption features perfectly,including near-complete absorption at resonance as well as strong robustness to wide incident angles.Specifically,the full width at half-maximum and quality factor of the absorption resonances attenuate less than 26%and 8%with this new method,remaining in the ranges of^0.03–0.04 THz and^20–27 for two selected example MAs.More significantly,sensing capacities of this type of MA,in terms of maximum detection range(enhancing at least 9%),observable spectral modulation(increasing at least 6.3%),and refractive index sensitivity,are improved to a large extent because of more intense coupling between resonant field and matter in the case of surface-relief MAs.This stronger coupling results from exposing more spots of the resonantly high field to direct contact with an approaching analyte,which is illustrated by field profiles of the MAs at resonance in this work.Additionally,other desirable absorber features are also explored with such MAs,like functioning as building blocks to configure multiband MAs and strong robustness against fabrication errors.Such new-style terahertz MAs shown in the paper,acting as good examples,not only prove that terahertz MAs can be fabricated by the proposed time-and cost-saving route in contrast to the traditional MA fabrication process,but also can serve as novel platforms to explore other intriguing terahertz photonic effects,such as the field enhancement effect.WEI WANG FENGPING YAN SIYU TAN HAISU LI XUEMEI DU LUNA ZHANG ZHUOYA BAI DAN CHENG HONG ZHOU YAFEI HOU 2020Photonics Research2020,8,4:3
9Effects of exogenous enzymes and dietary energy on performance and digestive physiology of broilers显示文摘The study was conducted to compare the effects of XG with AG and BM at different metabolizable energy diets on growth performance, digestive physiology and energy utilization of broilers fed with corn-SBM diet. A 2 × 4 factorial design was used with two basal diets(the positive control group, PC; negative control with ME reduction 100 kcal/ kg, NC) and with or without the addition of three exogenous enzymes(0.02% BM; 0.01% AG; 0.05% XG) respectively. 1,200 one-day-old broilers were randomly allocated to 8 treatments with 10 pens of 15 broilers. There was no significant difference on BW, BWG, and FI at 0-21d, 21-42d or 0-42d for diet, enzymes or their interactions, but FI at 22-42d and 0-42d were tend to be decreased with the addition of enzymes. The F/G was significantly improved by the addition of enzymes especially in NC diet. The dietary AME and TME in PC or NC diet were significantly increased by XG or AG in NC diet. The villus length and V/C of ileum were significantly increased by the addition of BM or XG. XG improved the activities of trypsin, chymotrypsin and amylase, BM improved the activity of trypsin at 21d, and AG improved the activity of chymotrypsin at 21d. Comparing to PC diet, the addition of enzymes in PC or NC diet decreased feed cost per kg body weight gain especially in NC diet(except AG in PC diet) with the highest profits for XG in NC diet. 10Are current Chinese national ambient air quality standards on 24-hour averages for particulate matter sufficient to protect public health?显示文摘With rapid economic development and urbanization in recent decades, China has experienced the worsening of ambient air quality. For better air quality management to protect human health, Chinese government revised national ambient air quality standards(NAAQS) for particulate matter(PM) in 2012(GB3095-2012). To assess the effectiveness of current NAAQS for PM on public health in Chinese population, we conducted a metaanalysis on published studies examining the mortality risk of short-term exposure to PM with aerodynamic diameters less than 10 and 2.5 μm(PM_(10) and PM_(2.5)) in China. The reported24-hour concentrations of PM_(10) and PM_(2.5) in studies ranged from 43.5 to 150.1 μg/m^3 and 37.5 to 176.7 μg/m^3. In the pooled excess, mortality risk estimates of short-term exposure to PM.In specific, per 10 μg/m^3 increase in PM_(10), we observed increases of 0.40%(95%CI: 0.33%,0.47%), 0.57%(95%CI: 0.44%, 0.70%) and 0.49%(95%CI: 0.40%, 0.58%) in total, respiratory and cardiovascular mortality, per 10 μg/m^3 increase in PM_(2.5), we observed increases of 0.51%(95%CI: 0.38%, 0.63%), 0.62%(95%CI: 0.52%, 0.73%) and 0.75%(95%CI: 0.54%, 0.95%) in total,respiratory and cardiovascular mortality. Finally, we derived 125 μg/m^3 for PM_(10) and 62.5 μg/m^3 for PM_(2.5) as 24-hour recommendation values based on the pooled estimates. Our results indicated that current Chinese NAAQS for PM could be sufficient in mitigating the excess mortality risk from short-term exposure to ambient PM. 11Serum trimethylamine-N-oxide and gut microbiome alterations are associated with cholesterol deposition in the liver of laying hens fed with rapeseed meal显示文摘Sinapine derived from cruciferous plants could be converted into trimethylamine by intestinal microbiota.Its metabolite,trimethylamine N-oxide(TMAO),is closely linked to increased risk of cardiovascular disease and fat deposition in mammals.Hens fed with rapeseed meal(RSM)suffered from fatty liver hemorrhage syndrome(FLHS).This study was conducted to investigate whether RSM-induced fatty liver is due to TMAO via altering microbiota composition and diversity.At 33 weeks of age,600 laying hens were randomly divided into 5 treatment groups,namely control and 14%RSM treatment groups(DY5,with 16.2% erucic acid [EA]and 74.66% glucosinolate[Gl]contents;MB1,with 3.50% EA and 43.23 %Gl contents;DY6,with 6.7% EA and 22.67% Gl contents;XH3,with 44.60% EA and 132.83% Gl contents)for 8 weeks.Results revealed that 3 hens died due to liver hemorrhage after ingesting 14% RSM diet.The 14% RSM decreased serum low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)content(P<0.01)while tended to increase serum TMAO content compared to the control group(P=0.08).The 14% RSM diet increased red oil O optical density(P<0.01),and increased total cholesterol(TC)and LDL-C content in the liver(P<0.01,and P<0.01,respectively).The 14%RSM decreased liver total bile acid(TBA)content compared to the control(P<0.01).The DY6 had a higher TBA content in the liver than the XH3(P<0.01).The 14%RSM decreased mRNA abundance of liver X receptors alpha(LXR-α,P=0.01),and increased mRNA abundance of sterol response element binding protein 2(SREBP-2,P=0.04).Results revealed that the in-feed RSM could alter richness and diversity of cecal microbiota compared to the control(P<0.05).Liver TC content and serum TMAO showed a negative relationship with Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria(P=0.04).In conclusion,14%RSM increased liver TC and induced high liver score of FLHS,which was possibly associated with the altered cecal microbiota composition,increased serum TMAO levels and LXR-αand SREBP-2 expressions.Liping Zhu Jianping Wang Xuemei Ding Shiping Bai Qiufeng Zeng Yue Xuan Gregory S.Fraley Keying Zhang 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:2
12Effects of dietary nanocrystalline cellulose supplementation on growth performance,carcass traits,intestinal development and lipid metabolism of meat ducks显示文摘The influence of nanocrystalline cellulose(NCC) supplementation on growth performance, carcass traits,intestinal development, and lipid metabolism was assessed in 600 one-day-old male meat ducks(Cherry Valley ducks) from 1 to 35 d of age. Diets were supplemented with 0,200,500,800 and 1,500 mg/kg NCC during both the starter(1-14 d) and grower(15-35 d) phases. Each dietary treatment consisted of 8 replicate cages of 15 birds. Supplementation of NCC was associated with dose dependent increases in BW gain and feed intake(P < 0.01) during 1-14 d of age and in BW at 35 d of age. As NCC content increased,the percentage of breast meat weight(P < 0.05) and leg(with bone) weight(P < 0.05) linearly increased,while the percentage of abdominal fat weight(P < 0.01) linearly decre.ased in ducks at 35 d of age.Supplementation of NCC resulted in a dose-dependent increase in the weight(P < 0.05) and density(P < 0.01) of the cecum. The percentage of total hepatic lipid content(P < 0.01) at 14 d of age and serum triglyceride(TG) concentration(P = 0.052) at 35 d of age linearly decreased with increasing of dietary NCC addition. 14Online measurement of alkalinity in anaerobic co-digestion using linear regression method显示文摘Alkalinity is a reliable indicator of process stability in anaerobic digestion system.Total alkalinity(TA)and partial alkalinity(PA)are usually monitored offline as indicators for the status of anaerobic digestion process.In order to online monitor TA and PA,the linear regression method was used as estimator to predict alkalinity via software sensor method.Parameters,namely,pH,oxidation and reduction potential(ORP),and electrical conductivity(EC),were used as input variables.EC was the most significant parameter with TA and PA.Multiple linear regression(MLR)models and simple linear regression models with EC were constructed to predict TA and PA in anaerobic co-digestion system.On the basis of the evaluation of prediction accuracy,the applications of linear regression models were better for monitoring PA than TA.MLR models provided higher accuracy for alkalinity prediction than simple linear regression models.The two MLR models based on single-phase anaerobic digestion system were also feasible to predict TA in anaerobic co-digestion systems.However,the accuracy of these models should be improved by calibrating for broad applications of linear regression method in online alkalinity measurement.Bai Xue Li Zifu Wang Xuemei He Xi Cheng Shikun Bai Xiaofeng Gao Ruiling 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,1:1

18BMA probability quantitative precipitation forecasting of land-falling typhoons in south-east China显示文摘The probability of quantitative precipitation forecast(PQPF)of three Bayesian Model Averaging(BMA)models based on three raw super ensemble prediction schemes(i.e.,A,B,and C)are established,which through calibration of their parameters using 1-3 day precipitation ensemble prediction systems(EPSs)from the China Meteorological Administration(CMA),the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)and the National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)and observation during land-falling of three typhoons in south-east China in 2013.The comparison of PQPF shows that the performance is better in the BMA than that in raw ensemble forecasts.On average,the mean absolute error(MAE)of 1 day lead time forecast is reduced by 12.4%,and its continuous ranked probability score(CRPS)of 1-3 day lead time forecast is reduced by 26.2%,respectively.Although the amount of precipitation prediction by the BMA tends to be underestimated,but in view of the perspective of probability prediction,the probability of covering the observed precipitation by the effective forecast ranges of the BMA are increased,which is of great significance for the early warning of torrential rain and secondary disasters induced by it.Linna ZHAO Xuemei BAI Dan QI Cheng XING 2019Frontiers of Earth Science2019,13,4:1
