2Contralateral needling at unblocked collaterals for hemiplegia following acute ischemic stroke显示文摘Hemiplegia caused by stroke indicates dysfunction of the network between the brain and limbs,namely collateral shock in the brain.Contralateral needling is the insertion of needles into acupoints on the relative healthy side of the body to treat diseases such as apoplexy.However,there is little well-designed and controlled clinical evidence for this practice.This study investigated whether contralateral needling could treat hemiplegia after acute ischemic stroke in 106 randomly selected patients with acute ischemic stroke.These patients were randomly assigned to three groups:45 in the contralateral needling group,receiving acupuncture on the unaffected limbs;45 in the conventional acupuncture group,receiving acupuncture on the hemiplegic limbs;and 16 in the control group,receiving routine treatments without acupuncture.Acupuncture at acupoints Chize(LU5)in the upper limb and Jianliao(TE14)in the lower limb was performed for 45 minutes daily for 30consecutive days.The therapeutic effective rate,Neurological Deficit Score,Modified Barthel Index and Fugl-Meyer Assessment were evaluated.The therapeutic effective rate of contralateral needling was higher than that of conventional acupuncture(46.67%vs.31.11%,P<0.05).The neurological deficit score of contralateral needling was significantly decreased compared with conventional acupuncture(P<0.01).The Modified Barthel Index and Fugl-Meyer Assessment score of contralateral needling increased more significantly than those of conventional acupuncture(both P<0.01).The present findings suggest that contralateral needling unblocks collaterals and might be more effective than conventional acupuncture in the treatment of hemiplegia following acute ischemic stroke.Huanmin Gao Xugang Li Xia Gao Benxu Ma 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,31:10

5Primary root and root hair development regulation by OsAUX4 and its participation in the phosphate starvation response显示文摘Among the five members of AUX1/LAX genes coding for auxin carriers in rice,only OsAUX1 and OsAUX3 have been reported.To understand the function of the other AUX1/LAX genes,two independent alleles of osaux4 mutants,osaux4-1 and osaux4-2,were constructed using the CRISPR/Cas9 editing system.Homozygous osaux4-1 or osaux4-2 exhibited shorter primary root(PR)and longer root hair(RH)compared to the wild-type Dongjin(WT/DJ),and lost response to indoleacetic acid(IAA)treatment.OsAUX4 is intensively expressed in roots and localized on the plasma membrane,suggesting that OsAUX4 might function in the regulation of root development.The decreased meristem cell division activity and the downregulated expression of cell cycle genes in root apices of osaux4 mutants supported the hypothesis that OsAUX4 positively regulates PR elongation.OsAUX4 is expressed in RH,and osaux4 mutants showing longer RH compared to WT/DJ implies that OsAUX4 negatively regulates RH development.Furthermore,osaux4 mutants are insensitive to Pi starvation(-Pi)and OsAUX4 effects on the-Pi response is associated with altered expression levels of Pi starvation-regulated genes,and auxin distribution/contents.This study revealed that OsAUX4 not only regulates PR and RH development but also plays a regulatory role in crosstalk between auxin and-Pi signaling.Rigui Ye Yunrong Wu Zhenyu Gao Hao Chen Lixia Jia Dongming Li Xugang Li Qian Qian Yanhua Qi 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,8:3

7Model-Based Network Scheduling and Control for Systems over the IEEE 802.15.4 Network显示文摘The scheduling and control of a class of wireless networked control system is investigated,whose control loop is closed via a shared IEEE 802.15.4 wireless network. By using a gain scheduler within the packet-based control framework and fitting the delay-dependent gains into a time-delay system model, a less conservative self-triggered approach is proposed to determine the sampling update,which consequently enables the design of two network scheduling algorithms to reduce the communication usage. 8Influence of Sr on microstructure and mechanical properties of ZL114 cast alloy显示文摘In the present work, the effects of trace element Sr on the microstructure, tensile properties, fractography and morphology of the eutectic Si of ZL114A (Al-7Si) cast alloy were investigated. The cast ZL114A aluminum alloy was prepared using a metal mold, and then heat treated with the T6 technique. The test results of mechanical properties show that modification element Sr can improve significantly the ultimate tensile strength, elongation and hardness of the ZL114A-T6 aluminum alloy. By adding 0.04%Sr, the values of the tensile strength Rm, elongation A and hardness HB increase from 230 MPa, 1% and 65 to the maximum of 305 MPa, 8%, and 100, respectively. SEM analysis indicates that the near tensile fracture surface on longitudinal section of the ZL114A-T6 alloy reveals a transgranular fracture mode without Sr modification, while the tensile fracture is an intergranular fracture mode after Sr modification. 9Reducing energy loss via tuning energy levels of polymer acceptors for efficient all-polymer solar cells显示文摘The open-circuit voltage(Voc) of all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs) is typically lower than 0.9 V even for the most efficient ones.Large energy loss is the main reason for limiting Voc and efficiency of all-PSCs. Herein, through materials design using electron deficient building blocks based on bithiophene imides, the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO) energy levels of polymer acceptors can be effectively tuned, which resulted in a reduced energy loss induced by charge generation and recombination loss due to the suppressed charge-transfer(CT) state absorption. Despite a negligible driving force, all-PSC based on the polymer donor and acceptor combination with well-aligned energy levels exhibited efficient charge transfer and achieved an external quantum efficiency over 70% while maintaining a large Voc of 1.02 V, leading to a 9.21% efficiency. 10Preparation and Characterization of Potassium Monopersulfate/Ethyl Cellulose Microcapsules and Their Sustained Release Performance显示文摘Environmental cleaning is an important aspect of bacteria control.Ethyl cellulose microcapsules containing potassium monopersulfate(PMCM)were prepared by emulsified solvent diffusion method.The chemical structure and microstructure of the obtained PMCM was characterized by methods of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and X-ACT energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.The SEM micrographs of the PMCM containing 21.6%of C,46.8%of O,10.7%of S and 19.4%of K was relatively smooth.Thermal stability,sustained release performance,and antimicrobial activity of PMCM were investigated.The results showed that the drug loading and encapsulation efficiency of PMCM were 30.3%and 42.6%respectively.Potassium monopersulfate was fully released after 8 h,following a Fickian diffusion mechanism.Results showed that the microcapsules prepared with a high concentration of potassium monopersulfate solution showed a good antimicrobial effect.The microcapsule wall of the resulting PMCM increased with increasing ethyl cellulose content and had high thermal stability from the data of 69%residue rate.The excellent thermal stability and high sustained release performance of PMCM showed high application value.Qiaoguang Li Xuming Yan Jialong Chen Xugang Shu Puyou Jia Xiangjun Liang 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,10:2
11Dietary calcium requirements of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age显示文摘Background:The current calcium(Ca)recommendation for broilers is primarily based on studies conducted more than 30 years ago with birds of markedly different productive potentials from those which exist today.And the response indicators in these studies are mainly growth performance and bone ash percentage.Therefore,the present study was carried out to investigate the effect of dietary Ca level on growth performance,serum parameters,bone characteristics and Ca metabolism-related gene expressions,so as to estimate dietary Ca requirements of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age.Methods:A total of 4201-day-old Arbor Acres male broilers were randomly assigned to 1 of 7 treatments with 6 replicates(10 birds per cage)and fed the corn-soybean meal diets containing 0.60%,0.70%,0.80%,0.90%,1.00%,1.10%or 1.20%Ca for 21 days.Each diet contained the constant non-phytate phosphorus content of about 0.39%.Results:The average daily gain decreased linearly(P<0.001)as dietary Ca level increased.The serum and tibia alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activities,tibia bone mineral density(BMD),middle toe BMD,tibia ash percentage,tibia breaking strength,and tibia ALP protein expression level were affected(P<0.05)by dietary Ca level,and showed significant quadratic responses(P<0.02)to dietary Ca levels.The estimates of dietary Ca requirements were 0.80 to 1.00%based on the best fitted broken-line or quadratic models(P<0.03)of the above serum and bone parameters,respectively.Conclusions:The results from the present study indicate that the Ca requirements would be about 0.60%to obtain the best growth rate,and 1.00%to meet all of the Ca metabolisms and bone development of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age.Shiping Bai Yunfeng Yang Xuelian Ma Xiudong Liao Runlian Wang Liyang Zhang Sufen Li Xugang Luo Lin Lu 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,4:2
12A Study on the Biocompatibility of MgO Coating Prepared by Anodic Oxidation Method on Magnesium Metal显示文摘Magnesium(Mg),is widely used for the bone repair in oral and orthopedic application due to excellent bioactivity,degradation and biocompatibility.However,the range of application is greatly limited because of the rapid degradation of Mg metal in the body.Surface modification is an effective method to enhance the corrosion resistance and reduce the degradation rate of Mg metal.In the present study,pure Mg metal(P-Mg)was subjected to alkali-heat treatment(AT-Mg)or anodic oxidation-heat treatment(AO-HT-Mg).Both AT-Mg and AO-HT-Mg had a layer of MgO on their surfaces after treatment.Then the effects of MgO coating on corrosion resistance,bioactivity,Mesenchymal Stem Cells’(MSCs)proliferation,adhesion and osteogenic differentiation,and the bone repair capability of Mg metal were investigated.We found both AT-Mg and AO-HT-Mg had stronger corrosion resistance than P-Mg.MSCs on both AT-Mg and AO-HT-Mg had higher expression of proteins and genes of ALP,OCN,Col-I and Runx2 than those on P-Mg.They also showed better bone repair property than P-Mg in vivo.In general,MgO layer formed by anodic oxidation-heat treatment had better resistance and biocompatibility than that produced by alkali-heat treatment.This study indicated the MgO coating not only improved the corrosion resistance of Mg metal,but also promoted the osteogenic differentiation of MSCs and bone regeneration.Yangmei Chen Xugang Lu Fenghua Zhao Yi Hu Shibing Xiong Yuqiang Guo Ping Huang Bangcheng Yang 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,1:2
13Engineering of dendritic dopant-free hole transport molecules:enabling ultrahigh fill factor in perovskite solar cells with optimized dendron construction显示文摘Developing dopant-free hole-transporting materials(HTMs)for high-performance perovskite solar cells(PVSCs)has been a very active research topic in recent years since HTMs play a critical role in optimizing interfacial charge carrier kinetics and in turn determining device performance.Here,a novel dendritic engineering strategy is first utilized to design HTMs with a D-A type molecular framework,and diphenylamine and/or carbazole is selected as the building block for constructing dendrons.All HTMs show good thermal stability and excellent film morphology,and the key optoelectronic properties could be fine-tuned by varying the dendron structure.Among them,MPA-Cz-BTI and MCz-Cz-BTI exhibit an improved interfacial contact with the perovskite active layer,and non-radiative recombination loss and charge transport loss can be effectively suppressed.Consequently,high power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of 20.8%and 21.35%are achieved for MPA-Cz-BTI and MCz-Cz-BTI based devices,respectively,accompanied by excellent long-term storage stability.More encouragingly,ultrahigh fill factors of 85.2%and 83.5%are recorded for both devices,which are among the highest values reported to date.This work demonstrates the great potential of dendritic materials as a new type of dopant-free HTMs for high-performance PVSCs with excellent FF.Wei Chen Yang Wang Bin Liu Yajun Gao Ziang Wu Yongqiang Shi Yumin Tang Kun Yang Yujie Zhang Weipeng Sun Xiyuan Feng Frédéric Laquai Han Young Woo Aleksandra B.Djurisic Xugang Guo Zhubing He 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,1:2
14Determination of optimal dietary selenium levels by full expression of selenoproteins in various tissues of broilers from 1 to 21 d of age显示文摘The current NRC dietary selenium(Se)requirement(0.15 mg/kg)of broilers is primarily based on growth performance data reported in 1986.Our study aimed to determine optimal dietary Se levels of broilers fed a practical corn-soybean meal diet for the full expression of selenoproteins in various tissues.A total of 384 one-d-old male broilers(n=8 replicates/diet)were fed a basal corn-soybean meal diet or the basal diet supplemented with 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4 or 0.5 mg Se/kg in the form of Na_(2)SeO_(3) for 21 d.Regression analysis was conducted to evaluate the optimal dietary Se levels using broken-line,quadratic or asymptotic models.The activity of glutathione peroxidase(GPX)in the plasma,liver,kidney and pancreas,iodothyronine deiodinase(DIO)in the plasma,liver and pancreas,and thioredoxin reductase(Txnrd)in the liver and pancreas,the mRNA levels of Gpx1,Gpx4,Dio1,selenoprotein(Seleno)h,Selenop and Selenou in the liver,Gpx4,Dio1,Txnrd1,Txnrd2,Selenoh,Selenop and Selenou in the kidney,and Gpx1,Gpx4,Selenoh and Selenou in the pancreas,and the protein levels of GPX4 in the liver and kidney of broilers were influenced(P<0.05)by added Se levels,and increased quadratically(P<0.05)with the increase of added Se levels.The estimates of optimal dietary Se levels were 0.07 to 0.36 mg/kg based on the fitted broken-line,quadratic or asymptotic models(P<0.001)of the aforementioned selenoprotein expression in the plasma,liver and kidney,and 0.09 to 0.46 mg/kg based on the fitted broken-line models(P<0.001)of the aforementioned selenoprotein expression in the pancreas.The results indicate that the optimal dietary Se levels would be 0.36 mg/kg to support the full expression of selenoproteins in the plasma,liver and kidney,and 0.46 mg/kg to support the full expression of selenoproteins in the pancreas of broilers fed a practical corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 d of age.Xiudong Liao Guoqing Liu Guangming Sun Xiaoming Sun Tao Liu Lin Lu Liyang Zhang Minhong Zhang Yanli Guo Xugang Luo 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:2
15A Cost-Effective D-A-D Type Hole-Transport Material Enabling 20% Efficiency Inverted Perovskite Solar Celis显示文摘High-performance,cost-effective hole-transport materials(HTMs)are greatly desired for the commercialization of perovskite solar cells(PVSCs).Herein,two new HTMs,TPA-FO and TPA-PDO,are devised and synthesized,which have a donor-acceptor-donor(D-A-D)type molecule design featuring carbonyl group-functionalized arenes as the acceptor(A)units.The carbonyl group at the central core of HTMs can not only tune frontier molecular orbital(FMO)energy levels and surface wettability,but also can enable efficient surface passivation effects,resulting in reduced recombination loss.When employed as HTMs in inverted PVSCs without using dopant,TPA-FO with one carbonyl group yields a high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 20.24%,which is among the highest values reported in the inverted PVSCs with dopant-free HTMs.More importantly,the facile one-step synthetic process enables a low cost of 30 USD g^(-1) for TPA-FO,much cheaper than the most studied HTMs used for high-efficiency dopant-free PVSCs.These results demonstrate the potential of D-A-D type molecules with carbonyl group-functionalized arene core in developing the low-cost dopant-free HTMs toward highly efficient PVSCs.Jiachen Huang Jie Yang Huiliang Sun Kui Feng Qiaogan Liao Bolin Li He Yan Xugang Guo 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,6:2
16Synthesis and Kinetics of Hydrogenated Rosin Dodecyl Ester as an Environmentally Friendly Plasticizer显示文摘The plasticizer is an important polymer material additive.Non-toxic and environmentally friendly plasticizers are developed recently in order to decrease fossil fuel reserves,serious environmental pollution and the toxicity of phthalate esters.In this study,a new,efficient and environmentally friendly plasticizer of hydrogenated rosin dodecyl ester was prepared by an esterification reaction of hydrogenated rosin and dodecanol.The influences of different reaction conditions(including different catalysts,the catalyst concentration,the ratio of the reactants,reaction temperature,and reaction time)on the esterification yield are examined and discussed.Hydrogenated rosin dodecyl ester with 71.8%yield was synthesized under the optimized reaction conditions(1:0.8 molar ratio of rosin to dodecanol,1 mol%tetrabutyl titanate concentration,and 210℃for 6 h).The esterification reaction is a second-order reaction,and kinetic calculations showed that the activation energy is 39.77 KJ·mol^(−1).The structure of the hydrogenated rosin dodecyl ester was confirmed by FT-IR spectroscopy and^(13)C NMR spectrum.Besides,the thermal stability of target product(hydrogenated rosin dodecyl ester)was also tested by thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA),which showed a good thermal stability.Qiaoguang Li Sheng Gong Jie Yan Hongchao Hu Xugang Shu Hanqing Tong Zhiye Cai 2020Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,3:2
