2Removing the impact of wind direction on remote sensing of sea surface salinity显示文摘Using the small-slope approximation model of microwave emission of rough sea surface, the impacts of sea surface wind on brightness tem- perature variations generated by the surface rough- ness, i.e. ?Th,v, are investigated. Here ?T denotes the brightness temperature variation, and “h” and “v” denote the horizontal and vertical polarizations re- spectively. ?Th,v has a linear relation with wind speed, sea surface temperature (SST) and sea surface sa- linity (SSS) respectively. Further more, the impact of wind direction on SSS retrieval, under small inci- dence angles, can be removed by calculating (?Th+?Tv). 3Chronic heat stress induces the disorder of gut transport and immune function associated with endoplasmic reticulum stress in growing pigs显示文摘Although high temperatures influence gut health,data on underlying mechanisms remains scant.Using a pig model,this study performed a global analysis on how chronic heat stress affects the transport and immune function of the gut through transcriptome,proteome,microbial diversity and flow cytometry.A total of 27 pigs with similar body weights were assigned into 3 groups,control(Con)group(23℃),chronic heat stressed(HS)group(33°C),and pair-fed(PF)group,in a controlled environment for 21 days.Our results showed that pigs in the HS group had reduced growth performance and diminished height of ileal villi(P<0.01).Transcriptome and proteome analyses demonstrated notable modification of expression of nutrients and ion transport-related transporters and gut mechanical barrier-related genes by chronic heart stress(P<0.05),suggesting damage of transport functions and the gut barrier.Chronic heat stress-induced endoplasmic reticulum stress also increased the synthesis of misfolded proteins,leading to upregulation of misfolded protein degradation and synthesis,as well as vesicle transport disorder(P<0.05).Energy supply processes were enhanced in the mitochondrion(P<0.05)to maintain biological processes with high energy demands.Furthermore,chronic heat stress activated complement cascade response-related genes and proteins in the gut mucosa(P<0.05).Our flow cytometry assays showed that the proportion of gut lymphocytes(CD4^(+)T cells,T cells,B cells in Peyer’s patch lymphocytes and CD4^(+)CD25^(+)T cells in intraepithelial lymphocytes)were significantly altered in the HS group pigs(P<0.05).In addition,the occurrence of gut microbial dysbiosis in the HS group pigs was characterized by increased potential pathogens(e.g.,Asteroleplasma,Shuttleworthia,Mycoplasma)and suppression of beneficial bacteria(e.g.,Coprococcus and Aeriscardovia),which are associated with gut immune function.Altogether,our data demonstrated that chronic heat stress induced gut transport and immune function disorder associated with endoplasmic reticulum stress in growing pigs.Shanlong Tang Jingjing Xie Wei Fang Xiaobin Wen Chang Yin Qingshi Meng Ruqing Zhong Liang Chen Hongfu Zhang 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,4:2

5Synthesis and characterization of a new organic-inorganic hybrid polyphosphazene polymer显示文摘A new organic-inorganic hybrid polyphosphazene polymer was synthesized via sequential nucleophilic substitution using allylamine and phenol. The polymer was characterized by FTIR, 1H-NMR, and 31P-NMR spectra. The thermal properties were studied by DSC and TGA. It was found that the polymer has good thermal stability. Char yields of the polymer reaches to 48.6% at 800 ℃. The high char yield makes it possible in theory for the polymer to be used as flame retardant. 7Notes on McCoy Modules显示文摘Let R be a ring with an identity and C(R) be the category of right R-modules. In this paper we introduce the notion of semi-McCoy module. With this notion we show that McCoy modules of C(R) are closed under kernels of epimorphisms, and they are also closed under extensions and direct sums with certain conditions. 10The analysis of gales over the “Maritime Silk Road” with remote sensing data显示文摘The 21st century 'Maritime Silk Road' strategy is a significant part of the belt and road initiatives of China. The cognition and investigation of ocean environment is essential and necessary in these regions which will provide scientific reference for many fields such as navigation, ocean engineering, and disaster prevent and reduction. A high-resolution cross-calibrated multi-platform wind product is used to analyze gales over the Maritime Silk Road. The yearly mean speed and space distribution of gale, and the frequencies and trends of gale and extreme wind speed are analyzed. The results show that relatively high pools of gale are mainly located in the waters of the Arabian Sea, the Somali Sea, Indo-China Peninsula sea area, and Bay of Bengal in the summer. The gale frequency of the Somali Sea is more than 90%. 11Structural properties and electrochemical performance of different polymorphs of Nb_(2)O_(5) in magnesium-based batteries显示文摘The selection of the most suitable crystal structure for ions storage and the investigation of the corresponding reaction mechanism is still an ongoing challenge for the development of Mg-based batteries.In this article,high flexible graphene network supporting different crystal structures of Nb2 O5(TTNb_(2)O_(5)@rGO and T-Nb_(2)O_(5)@rGO) are successfully synthesized by a spray-drying-assisted approach.The three-dimensional graphene framework provides high conductivity and avoids the aggregation of Nb2 O5 nanoparticles.When employed as electrode materials for energy storage applications,TT-Nb_(2)O_(5) delivers a higher discharge capacity of 129.5 mAh g^(-1), about twice that of T-Nb_(2)O_(5) for Mg-storage,whereas,T-Nb_(2)O_(5) delivers a much higher capacity(162 mAh g^(-1)) compared with TT-Nb_(2)O_(5)(129 mAh g^(-1)) for Li-storage.Detailed investigations reveal the Mg intercalation mechanism and lower Mg^(2+) migration barriers,faster Mg^(2+) diffusion kinetics of TT-Nb_(2)O_(5) as cathode material for Mg-storage,and the faster Li+ diffusion kinetics,shorter diffusion distance of T-Nb_(2)O_(5) as cathode material for Li-storage.Our work demonstrates that exploring the proper crystal structure of Nb2 O5 for different ions storage is necessary.Cunyuan Pei Yameng Yin Xiaobin Liao Fangyu Xiong Qinyou An Mengda Jin Yan Zhao Liqiang Mai 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:1

13Interannual Variability of SST,SLA and Wind Waves in the Hawaii Area and Their Responses to ENSO显示文摘Time series of sea surface temperature (SST),wind speed and significant wave height (SWH) from meteorological buoys of the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) are useful for studying the interannual variability and trend of these quantities at the buoy areas. The measurements from 4 buoys (B51001,B51002,B51003 and B51004) in the Hawaii area are used to study the responses of the quantities to EI Ni?o and Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Long-term averages of these data reflect precise seasonal and climatological characteristics of SST,wind speed and SWH around the Hawaii area. Buoy observations from B51001 suggest a significant warming trend which is,however,not very clear from the other three buoys. Compared with the variability of SST and SWH,the wind speeds from the buoy observations show an increasing trend. The impacts of EI Nio on SST and wind waves are also shown. Sea level data observed by altimeter during October 1992 to September 2006 are analyzed to investigate the variability of sea level in the Hawaii area. The results also show an increasing trend in sea level anomaly (SLA). The low-passed SLA in the Hawaii area is consistent with the inverse phase of the low-passed SOI (Southern Oscillation Index). 16Retrieving capillary-gravity wave spectrum from polarimetric microwave radiation of ocean surface显示文摘A new simple two-scale model on the polarimetric microwave emission of ocean surface is derived at first, which can be ex-pressed as an integral of weighting functions (M0 and M2) and ocean surface curvature spectrum coefficients (C0 and C2). This provides a simple way to investigate the effect of curvature spectrum on ocean emission. It is found that ocean waves with wavelengths both comparable to and much greater than the electromagnetic wavelength can contribute to the harmonics of ocean surface microwave emission, depending on the magnitude of the ocean surface spectrum in these length scales. Bright-ness temperature predictions differ significantly due to present diverse spectrum models, and thus a study on wave spectrum obtained inversely from brightness temperature measurements is necessary. From the ocean surface radiation data measured by polarimetric microwave radiometer, we derived an ocean wave spectrum with a wider wave number range, using the proposed two-scale model and constrained linear least-squares method. 18Inhibitory effects of Pseudomonas aeruginosa mannose-sensitive hemagglutinin on rat C6 glioma cell proliferation显示文摘BACKGROUND: Pseudomonas aeruginosa mannose-sensitive hemagglutinin (PA-MSHA) parenteral injection is used as a broad-spectrum immunomodulator. It remains unclear whether PA-MSHA exhibits inhibitory effects on tumor cell growth. OBJECTIVE: To investigate inhibitory mechanisms of PA-MSHA-induced proliferation in rat C6 glioma cells in vitro. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Comparative observation and in vitro experiments were performed at the Key Laboratory of Natural Medicine, Kunming Medical College, China from July 2008 to April 2009. MATERIALS: Rat C6 glioma cell line (Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China) and PA-MSHA parenteral injection (Beijing Wanteer Bio-Pharmaceutical, China) were used in the present study. METHODS: Rat C6 glioma cells in logarithmic growth phase were harvested in vitro. Adherent monolayer cells were respectively treated with PA-MSHA at final colony-forming units (cfu) of 1 × 108 cfu/mL, 2 × 108 cfu/mL, 4 × 108 cfu/mL, 6 × 108 cfu/mL, and 8 × 108 cfu/mL following 24 hours of conventional culture. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: MTT colorimetric assay was utilized to determine the inhibitory rate of C6 glioma cells following treatment with various concentrations of PA-MSHA at different times. Cell apoptosis was detected by fluorescent microscopy following Hoechst 33258 staining. Flow cytometry was used to measure PA-MSHA effects on C6 cell cycle. RESULTS: Inhibitory rate of C6 glioma cells increased with prolonged time and increased dose. Hoechst 33258 staining revealed obvious morphological changes in apoptotic C6 glioma cells. Flow cytometry revealed hypodiploid peaks, i.e., apoptotic peak, and the apoptotic rate in cells during S-phase significantly increased with increased concentrations in the experimental groups. CONCLUSION: With in vitro experiments, PA-MSHA preparations inhibited C6 glioma cell proliferation in a time- and dose-dependent manner. 19Estimation of wind speeds inside Super Typhoon Nepartak from AMSR2 low-frequency brightness temperatures显示文摘Accurate estimations of typhoon-level winds are highly desired over the westem Pacific Ocean.A wind speed retrieval algorithm is used to retrieve the wind speeds within Super Typhoon Nepartak (2016)using 6.9- and 10.7-GHz brightness temperatures from the Japanese Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR2) sensor on board the Global Change Observation Mission-Water 1 (GCOM-Wl)satellite.The results show that the retrieved wind speeds clearly represent the intensification process of Super Typhoon Nepartak.A good agreement is found between the retrieved wind speeds and the Soil Moisture Active Passive wind speed product.The mean bias is 0.51 m/s,and the root-mean-square difference is 1.93 m/s between them.The retrieved maximum wind speeds are 59.6 m/s at 04:45 UTC on July 6 and 71.3 m/s at 16:58 UTC on July 6.The two results demonstrate good agreement with the results reported by the China Meteorological Administration and the Joint Typhoon Warning Center.In addition,Feng-Yun 2G (FY-2G) satellite infrared images,Feng-Yun 3C (FY-3C)microwave atmospheric sounder data,and AMSR2 brightness temperature images are also used to describe the development and structure of Super Typhoon Nepartak.Lei ZHANG Xiaobin YIN Hanqing SH Zhenzhan WANG Qing XU 2019Frontiers of Earth Science2019,13,1:0
