1Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)显示文摘In recent years,as living standards have continued to improve,the number of diabetes patients in China,along with the incidence of complications associated with the disease,has been increasing.Among these complications,diabetic foot disease is one of the main causes of disability and death in diabetic patients.Due to the differences in economy,culture,religion and level of medical care available across different regions,preventive and treatment methods and curative results for diabetic foot vary greatly.In multidisciplinary models built around diabetic foot,the timely assessment and diagnosis of wounds and appropriate methods of prevention and treatment with internal and external surgery are key to clinical practice for this pathology.In 2019,under the leadership of the Jiangsu Medical Association and Chinese Diabetes Society,the writing group for the Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)was established with the participation of scholars from the specialist areas of endocrinology,burn injury,vascular surgery,orthopedics,foot and ankle surgery and cardiology.Drawing lessons from diabetic foot guidelines from other countries,this guide analyses clinical practices for diabetic foot,queries the theoretical basis and grades and gives recommendations based on the characteristics of the pathology in China.This paper begins with assessments and diagnoses of diabetic foot,then describes treatments for diabetic foot in detail,and ends with protections for high-risk feet and the prevention of ulcers.This manuscript covers the disciplines of internal medicine,surgical,nursing and rehabilitation and describes a total of 50 recommendations that we hope will provide procedures and protocols for clinicians dealing with diabetic foot.Aiping Wang Guozhong Lv Xingbo Cheng Xianghua Ma Wei Wang Jianchao Gui JiHu Meng Lu Guoping Chu Jin’an Chen Hao Zhang Yiqiu Jiang Yuedong Chen Wengbo Yang Lin Jiang Houfa Geng Rendong Zheng Yihui Li Wei Feng Boey Johnson Wenjuan Wang Dalong Zhu Yin Hu 2020Burns & Trauma2020,8,1:34
2Enhanced CH4 selectivity in CO2 photocatalytic reduction over carbon quantum dots decorated and oxygen doping g-C3N4显示文摘Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4,CN)exhibits inefficient charge separation,deficient CO2 adsorption and activation sites,and sluggish surface reaction kinetics,which have been recognized as the main barriers to its application in CO2 photocatalytic reduction.In this work,carbon quantum dot(CQD)decoration and oxygen atom doping were applied to CN by a facile one-step hydrothermal method.The incorporated CQDs not only facilitate charge transfer and separation,but also provide alternative CO2 adsorption and activation sites.Further,the oxygen-atom-doped CN(OCN),in which oxygen doping is accompanied by the formation of nitrogen defects,proves to be a sustainable H^+ provider by facilitating the water dissociation and oxidation half-reactions.Because of the synergistic effect of the hybridized binary CQDs/OCN addressing the three challenging issues of the CN based materials,the performance of CO2 photocatalytic conversion to CH4 over CQDs/OCN-x(x represents the volume ratio of laboratory-used H2O2(30 wt.%)in the mixed solution)is dramatically improved by 11 times at least.The hybrid photocatalyst design and mechanism proposed in this work could inspire more rational design and fabrication of effective photocatalysts for CO2 photocatalytic conversion with a high CH4 selectivity.Qian Li Songcan Wang Zhuxing Sun Qijun Tang Yiqiu Liu Lianzhou Wang Haiqiang Wang Zhongbiao Wu 2019Nano Research2019,12,11:9
3Cycle stability of lithium/garnet/lithium cells with different intermediate layers显示文摘The garnet-type electrolytes such as Ta-doped Li_7La_3Zr_2O_(12)(LLZTO) have been viewed as the promising electrolytes for solid-state lithium batteries, but it exhibits problem of high interfacial resistance(1960 Ω·cm^2) and short circuit when being cycled in Li/LLZTO/Li cells at the current density above 0.5 mA·cm^(-2). Introduction of intermediate layers in between lithium and LLZTO is helpful for decreasing the interfacial resistance and suppressing the growth of lithium dendrites. In this work, three kinds of intermediate layers of Au, Nb and Si with the thickness of 100 nm were prepared. Although the interfacial resistance with the Au layer decreases from 1960 to 32 Ω·cm^2, the cells can only cycle for 0.67 h at 0.5 mA·cm^(-2), related to the Au peeled off from the LLZTO. The Nb layers lead to the initial interfacial resistance of 14 Ω·cm^2, while showing extension of cycle time to 50 h with the increase in interfacial resistance due to the formation of the resistive Li–Nb–O phase. 4Assessing the global averaged sea-level budget from 2003 to 2010显示文摘A global mass balance(Greenland and Antarctica ice sheet mass loss,terrestrial water storage)and different sea-level components(observed sea-level from satellite altimetry,steric sea-level from Ishii data,and ocean mass from gravity recovery and climate experiment,GRACE)are estimated,in terms of seasonal and interannual variabilities from 2003 to 2010.The results show that a detailed analysis of the GRACE time series over the time period 2003–2010 unambiguously reveals an increase in mass loss from the Greenland ice sheet and Antarctica ice sheet.The mass loss of both ice sheets accelerated at a rate of(392.8±70.0)Gt/a during 2003–2010,which contributed(1.09±0.19)mm/a to the global mean sea-level during this time.The net terrestrial water storage(TWS)trend was negative over the 8 a time span,which gave a small positive contribution of(0.25±0.12)mm/a.The interannual variability of the global mean sea-level was at least partly caused by year-to-year variability of land water storage.Estimating GRACE-based ice sheet mass balance and terrestrial water storage by using published estimates for melting glaciers,the results further show that the ocean mass increase since 2003 has resulted half from an enhanced contribution of the polar ice sheets,and half from the combined ice sheet and terrestrial water storage loss.Taking also into account the melting of mountain glaciers(0.41 mm/a)and the small GRACE-based contribution from continental waters(0.25 mm/a),a total ocean mass contribution of(1.75±0.57)mm/a from 2003 to 2010 is found.Such a value represented 75%of the altimetry-based rate of sea-level rise over that period.The contributions to steric sea-level(i.e.,ocean thermal expansion plus salinity effects)are estimated from:(1)the difference between altimetry-based sea-level and ocean mass change and(2)the latest Ishii data.The inferred steric sea-level rate from(1)(1.41 mm/a from 2003 to 2010)did not agree well with the Ishii-based value also estimated here(0.44 mm/a from 2003 to 2010),but phase.The cause for such a discrepancy is not yet known but may be related to inadequate sampling of in situ ocean temperature and salinity measurements.LI Juan ZUO Juncheng CHEN Meixiang TAN Wei YANG Yiqiu 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,10:6
5The next detectors for gravitational wave astronomy显示文摘This paper focuses on the next detectors for gravitational wave astronomy which will be required after the current ground based detectors have completed their initial observations, and probably achieved the first direct detection of gravitational waves. The next detectors will need to have greater sensitivity, while also enabling the world array of detectors to have improved angular resolution to allow localisation of signal sources. Sect. 1 of this paper begins by reviewing proposals for the next ground based detectors,and presents an analysis of the sensitivity of an 8 km armlength detector, which is proposed as a safe and cost-effective means to attain a 4-fold improvement in sensitivity. The scientific benefits of creating a pair of such detectors in China and Australia is emphasised. Sect. 2 of this paper discusses the high performance suspension systems for test masses that will be an essential component for future detectors, while sect. 3 discusses solutions to the problem of Newtonian noise which arise from fluctuations in gravity gradient forces acting on test masses. Such gravitational perturbations cannot be shielded, and set limits to low frequency sensitivity unless measured and suppressed. Sects. 4 and 5 address critical operational technologies that will be ongoing issues in future detectors. Sect. 4 addresses the design of thermal compensation systems needed in all high optical power interferometers operating at room temperature. Parametric instability control is addressed in sect. 5. Only recently proven to occur in Advanced LIGO, parametric instability phenomenon brings both risks and opportunities for future detectors. The path to future enhancements of detectors will come from quantum measurement technologies. 6The influence of Stokes drift on oil spills:Sanchi oil spill case显示文摘Spilled oil floats and travels across the water’s surface under the influence of wind,currents,and wave action.Wave-induced Stokes drift is an important physical process that can affect surface water particles but that is currently absent from oil spill analyses.In this study,two methods are applied to determine the velocity of Stokes drift,the first calculates velocity from the wind-related formula based upon a one-dimensional frequency spectrum,while the second determines velocity directly from the wave model that was based on a twodimensional spectrum.The experimental results of numerous models indicated that:(1)oil simulations that include the influence of Stokes drift are more accurate than that those do not;(2)for medium and long-term simulations longer than two days or more,Stokes drift is a significant factor that should not be ignored,and its magnitude can reach about 2%of the wind speed;(3)the velocity of Stokes drift is related to the wind but is not linear.Therefore,Stokes drift cannot simply be replaced or substituted by simply increasing the wind drift factor,which can cause errors in oil spill projections;(4)the Stokes drift velocity obtained from the two-dimensional wave spectrum makes the oil spill simulation more accurate.Yiqiu Yang Yan Li Juan Li Jingui Liu Zhiyi Gao Kaixuan Guo Han Yu 2021Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,10:3
7HSP70 alleviates sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy by attenuating mitochondrial dysfunction-initiated NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis in cardiomyocytes显示文摘Background:Sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy(SIC)is an identified serious complication of sepsis that is associated with adverse outcomes and high mortality.Heat shock proteins(HSPs)have been implicated in suppressing septic inflammation.The aim of this study was to investigate whether HSP70 can attenuate cellular mitochondrial dysfunction,exuberated inflammation and inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis for SIC intervention.Methods:Mice with cecal ligation plus perforation(CLP)and lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-treated H9C2 cardiomyocytes were used as models of SIC.The mouse survival rate,gross profile,cardiac function,pathological changes and mitochondrial function were observed by photography,echocardiography,hematoxylin-eosin staining and transmission electron microscopy.In addition,cell proliferation and the levels of cardiac troponin I(cTnI),interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were determined by Cell Counting Kit-8,crystal violet staining and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Moreover,mitochondrial membrane potential was assessed by immunofluorescence staining,and dynamin-related protein 1 and pyroptosis-related molecules[nucleotide-binding domain,leucine-rich-repeat containing family pyrin domain-containing 3(NLRP3),caspase-1,gasdermin-D(GSDMD),gasdermin-D N-terminal(GSDMD-N)]were measured by western blotting,immunoprecipitation and immunoblotting.Finally,hsp70.1 knockout mice with CLP were used to verify the effects of HSP70 on SIC and the underlying mechanism.Results:Models of SIC were successfully established,as reduced consciousness and activity with liparotrichia in CLP mice were observed,and the survival rate and cardiac ejection fraction(EF)were decreased;conversely,the levels of cTnI,TNF-αand IL-1βand myocardial tissue damage were increased in CLP mice.In addition,LPS stimulation resulted in a reduction in cell viability,mitochondrial destabilization and activation of NLRP3-mediated pyroptosis molecules in vitro.HSP70 treatment improved myocardial tissue damage,survival rate and cardiac dysfunction caused by CLP.Additionally,HSP70 intervention reversed LPS-induced mitochondrial destabiliza-tion,inhibited activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome,caspase-1,GSDMD and GSDMD-N,and decreased pyroptosis.Finally,knockout of hsp70.1 mice with CLP aggravated cardiac dysfunction and upregulated NLRP3 inflammasome activity,and exogenous HSP70 significantly rescued these changes.It was further confirmed that HSP70 plays a protective role in SIC by attenuating mitochondrial dysfunction and inactivating pyroptotic molecules.Conclusions:Our study demonstrated that mitochondrial destabilization and NLRP3 inflammasome activation-mediated pyroptosis are attributed to SIC.Interestingly,HSP70 ameliorates sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction by improving mitochondrial dysfunction and inhibiting the acti-vation of NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis,and such a result may provide approaches for novel therapies for SIC.Chenlu Song Yiqiu Zhang Qing Pei Li Zheng Meiyu Wang Youzhen Shi Shan Wu Wei Ni Xiujun Fu Yinbo Peng Wen Zhang Min Yao 2022Burns & Trauma2022,10,1:2

9The Role of Dihydroresveratrol in Enhancing the Synergistic Effect of Ligilactobacillus salivarius Liol and Resveratrol in Ameliorating Colitis in Mice显示文摘Currently approved therapeutical strategies for inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)suffer from variable efficacy and association with risk of serious side effects.Therefore,efforts have been made in searching for alternative therapeutics strategies utilizing gut microbiota manipulation.In this study,we show that the probiotic strain Ligilactobacillus salivarius Li01(Li01)and the phytochemical prebiotic resveratrol(RSV)have synergistic effect in ameliorating colitis in mice.Oral coadministration of Li01(109 CFU/d)and RSV(1.5 g/kg/d)promoted restoration of various inflammatory injuries and gut microbiota composition,exhibiting a favorable anti-inflammatory effect in DSS-induced colitis mice.The combination treatment was associated with reductions in the levels of proinflammatory cytokines IL-1βand IL-6 and increases in the levels of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-17A in mouse serum.Moreover,the combination treatment was found to alter the composition and metabolism of the gut microbiota,especially influencing the production of short chain fatty acids and anti-inflammatory related molecules.The mechanism underlying the improved anti-inflammatory effect from the RSV and Li01 combination treatment was found to be associated with the environmental sensor mammalian aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AHR)and tryptophan metabolism pathway.Administration of RSV in combination with Li01 in different mouse model led to enhanced conversion of RSV into metabolites,including dihydroresveratrol(DHR),resveratrol-sulfate,and resveratrol-glucuronide.DHR was found to be the dominant metabolite of RSV in conventional and colitis mice.An increased DHR/RSV ratio was confirmed to activate AHR and contribute to an enhanced anti-inflammatory effect.DHR is considered as a potential AHR ligand.The DHR/RSV ratio also affected the serotonin pathway by controlling the expression of Tph1,SERT,and 5-HT7R leading to amelioration of colitis in mice.Our data suggest that treatment with a combination of Li01 and RSV has potential as a therapeutic strategy for IBD;further investigation of this combination in clinical settings is warranted.Yiqiu Fei Shuobo Zhang Shengyi Han Bo Qiu Yanmeng Lu Weixing Huang Fang Li Deying Chen Bjorn Berglund Hang Xiao Lanjuan Li Mingfei Yao 2022Research2022,,4:1

12A hindcast of the Bohai Bay oil spill during June to August 2011显示文摘An operational three-dimensional oil spill model is developed by the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center(NMEFC), State Oceanic Administration, China, and the model has been running for 9 a. On June 4 and 17,2011, oil is spilled into the sea water from two separate oil platforms in the Bohai Bay, i.e., Platforms B and C of Penglai 19-3 oilfield. The spill causes pollution of thousands of square kilometres of sea area. The NMEFC's oil spill model is employed to study the Penglai 19-3 oil-spill pollution during June to August 2011. The wind final analysis data of the NMEFC, which is based on a weather research and forecasting(WRF) model, are analyzed and corrected by comparing with the observation data. A corrected current filed is obtained by forcing the princeton ocean model(POM) with the corrected wind field. With the above marine environmental field forcing the oil spill model, the oil mass balance and oil distribution can be produced. The simulation is validated against the observation, and it is concluded that the oil spill model of the NMEFC is able to commendably simulate the oil spill distribution. 13The mechanisms,evaluation and estimation of anti-skid performance of snowy and icy pavement:A review显示文摘The anti-skid performance of snowy and icy pavements is a popular research topic among road workers.Snow and ice are pollutants on a road surface.They significantly reduce the skid resistance of pavements,and thus,cause traffic accidents.Pertinent research progress on the skid resistance of snowy and icy pavements was reviewed and summarized in this work.The formation and classification of snowy and icy pavements were described on the basis of the state of snow and ice.The friction mechanisms between tires and snowy and icy pavements were revealed.Measurement methods and their applicability to the skid resistance of snowy and icy pavements were summarized.Factors that affect the skid resistance of pavements were discussed from the perspectives of pavement,environment,and vehicle.In addition,models of snowy and icy pavement resistance were classified into experience,mechanical,and numerical models.The advantages and disadvantages of these models were then compared and analyzed.Some suggestions regarding snowy and icy pavements were presented in accordance with the aforementioned information,including the development of efficient testing tools,the quantification of skid resistance under the coupling effects of multiple factors,the establishment of unified evaluation standards,and the development of more effective skid resistance models.Yiqiu Tan Jilu Li Huining Xu Zhiwei Li Heru Wang 2023Journal of Road Engineering2023,3,3:0

16Reduced non-CpG methylation is a potential epigenetic target after spinal cord injury显示文摘DNA methylation is a critical epigenetic regulator in the occurrence and development of diseases and is closely related to various functional responses in relation to spinal cord injury.To investigate the role of DNA methylation in spinal cord injury,we constructed a library with reduced-representation bisulfite sequencing data obtained at various time points(day 0-42)after spinal cord injury in mice.Global DNA methylation levels,specifically non-CpG(CHG and CHH)methylation levels,decreased modestly following spinal cord injury.Stages post-spinal cord injury were classified as early(day 0-3),intermediate(day7-14),and late(day 28-42)based on similarity and hie rarchical cluste ring of global DNA methylation patterns.The non-CpG methylation level,which included CHG and CHH methylation levels,was markedly reduced despite accounting for a minor proportion of total methylation abundance.At multiple genomic sites,including the 5’untranslated regions,promoter,exon,intron,and 3’untranslated regions,the non-CpG methylation level was markedly decreased following spinal cord injury,whereas the CpG methylation level remained unchanged at these locations.Approximately one-half of the differentially methylated regions were located in intergenic areas;the other differentially methylated regions in both CpG and non-CpG regions were cluste red in intron regions,where the DNA methylation level was highest.The function of genes associated with differentially methylated regions in promoter regions was also investigated.From Gene Ontology analysis results,DNA methylation was implicated in a number of essential functional responses to spinal cord injury,including neuronal synaptic connection creation and axon regeneration.Notably,neither CpG methylation nor non-CpG methylation was implicated in the functional response of glial or inflammatory cells.In summary,our work elucidated the dynamic pattern of DNA methylation in the spinal co rd following injury and identified reduced nonCpG methylation as an epigenetic target after spinal cord injury in mice.Zhourui Wu Chen Li Ran Zhu Yiqiu Cao Thomas C.Chen Liming Cheng 2023Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,11:0
17Role of necroptosis in spinal cord injury and its therapeutic implications显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI),a complex neurological disorder,triggers a series of devastating neuropathological events such as ischemia,oxidative stress,inflammatory events,neuronal apoptosis,and motor dysfunction.However,the classical necrosome,which consists of receptor-interacting protein(RIP)1,RIP3,and mixed-lineage kinase domain-like protein,is believed to control a novel type of programmed cell death called necroptosis,through tumour necrosis factor-alpha/tumour necrosis factor receptor-1 signalling or other stimuli.Several studies reported that necroptosis plays an important role in neural cell damage,release of intracellular pro-inflammatory factors,lysosomal dysfunction and endoplasmic reticulum stress.Recent research indicates that necroptosis is crucial to the pathophysiology of a number of neurological disorders and SCIs.In our review,we summarize the potential role of programmed cell death regulated by necroptosis in SCI based on its molecular and pathophysiological mechanisms.We also summarize the targets of several necroptosis pathways,which provide a more reliable reference for the treatment of SCI.JIAWEI FU CHUNSHUAI WU GUANHUA XU JINLONG ZHANG YIQIU LI CHUNYAN JI ZHIMING CUI 2023BIOCELL2023,47,4:0
18Microenvironment components and spatially resolved single-cell transcriptome atlas of breast cancer metastatic axillary lymph nodes显示文摘As an indicator of clinical prognosis,lymph node metastasis of breast cancer has drawn great attention.Many reports have revealed the characteristics of metastatic breast cancer cells,however,the effect of breast cancer cells on the microenvironment components of lymph nodes and spatial transcriptome atlas remains unclear.In this study,by integrating single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)and spatial transcriptomics,we investigate the transcriptional profiling of six surgically excised lymph node samples and the spatial organization of one positive lymph node.We identify the existence of osteoclast-like giant cells(OGC)which have high expressions of CD68 and CD163,the biomarkers of tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs).Through a spatially resolved transcriptomic method,we find that OGCs are scattered among metastatic breast cancer cells.In the lymph node microenvironment with breast cancer cell infiltration,TAMs are enriched in protumoral pathways including NF-kB signaling pathways and NoD-like receptor signaling pathways.Further subclustering demonstrates the potential differentiation trajectory in which macrophages develop from a state of active chemokine production to a state of active lymphocyte activation.This study is the first to integrate scRNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics in the tumor microenvironment of axillary lymph nodes,offering a systematic approach to delve into breast cancer lymph node metastasis.Kun Xu Runtian Wang Qin Chen Yiqiu Liu Xintong Li Ling Mao Cenzhu Wang Fangyan Gao Longfei Hu Hui Xie Cong Wang Guohua Zhou Xiaoxiang Guan 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,9:0
19Experimental study on sand particles accumulation,migration and separation efficiency in slug catcher显示文摘Sand production often leads to the failure of production equipment on offshore platform.Therefore,a new idea has been put forward,which is installing cyclone or baffle in the internal of the slug catcher for better sand control.In this paper,an experimental study is presented,which mainly includes sand particles accumulation shape,migration law and separation performance.The results suggest that the accumulation area is mainly divided into two zones:the crowded settlement zone and the free settlement zone.The crowded settlement zone has a special shape,which can be characterized by two parameters:accumulation length and accumulation angle.Axial sampling analysis shows obvious particle classification.Median particle size decreases with the increase of the axial distance,and the range of particle size distribution narrows gradually.The separation experiment shows that the gas velocity has the greatest influence on the separation efficiency.When the gas velocity is 14 m·s^ 1,the separation efficiency drops sharply,which can be abated by installing cyclone separator.In addition,the separation efficiency tends to be a constant under different gas velocities by installing baffle with appropriate height.Then the effectiveness and rationality of installing internal components can be strongly proved.All these provide important guidance for maximizing the sand control function of the slug catcher.Xianchao Liang Limin He Xiaoming Luo Qingping Li Yuanpeng You Yiqiu Xu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,4:0
20Characterization and spatial analysis of coseismic landslides triggered by the Luding Ms 6.8 earthquake in the Xianshuihe fault zone, Southwest China显示文摘On September 5, 2022, a magnitude Ms 6.8 earthquake occurred along the Moxi fault in the southern part of the Xianshuihe fault zone located in the southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau,resulting in severe damage and substantial economic loss. In this study, we established a coseismic landslide database triggered by Luding Ms 6.8 earthquake, which includes 4794 landslides with a total area of 46.79 km^(2). The coseismic landslides primarily consisted of medium and small-sized landslides, characterized by shallow surface sliding. Some exhibited characteristics of high-position initiation resulted in the obstruction or partial obstruction of rivers, leading to the formation of dammed lakes. Our research found that the coseismic landslides were predominantly observed on slopes ranging from 30° to 50°, occurring at between 1000 m and 2500 m, with slope aspects varying from 90° to 180°. Landslides were also highly developed in granitic bodies that had experienced structural fracturing and strong-tomoderate weathering. Coseismic landslides concentrated within a 6 km range on both sides of the Xianshuihe and Daduhe fault zones. The area and number of coseismic landslides exhibited a negative correlation with the distance to fault lines, road networks, and river systems, as they were influenced by fault activity, road excavation, and river erosion. The coseismic landslides were mainly distributed in the southeastern region of the epicenter, exhibiting relatively concentrated patterns within the IX-degree zones such as Moxi Town, Wandong River basin, Detuo Town to Wanggangping Township. Our research findings provide important data on the coseismic landslides triggered by the Luding Ms 6.8 earthquake and reveal the spatial distribution patterns of these landslides.
