| 2 | The Current Situation on Major Depressive Disorder in China:Research on Mechanisms and Clinical Practice显示文摘Depression is the most disabling disorder worldwide that accounts for the highest proportion of global burden attributable to mental disorders. Major depressive disorder(MDD) is characterized by deep sadness, reduced energy,vegetative nervous system dysregulation, cognitive dysfunction, and even a high suicidal tendency. Although other treatment choices are available, antidepressant medication is the front-line treatment option for MDD. Regarding clinical efficacy, only ~50% of patients respond to frontline antidepressants, and <33% obtain remission. Currently, objective indexes to guide clinical decisions are still lacking. Furthermore, knowledge about the neurobiological mechanisms underlying discrepant antidepressant outcomes is still also fragmentary. | 5 | Simultaneous evaluation of two branches of a multifunctional integrated optic chip with an ultra-simple dual-channel configuration显示文摘We propose an ultra-simple dual-channel configuration for simultaneously evaluating two branches of a multifunctional integrated optic chip(MFIOC). In the configuration, the MFIOC is employed as a beam splitter to construct the demodulation interferometer together with a 2 × 2 fiber coupler. Interference happens between polarization modes traveling through different channels of the MFIOC. The cross-couplings of each channel are respectively characterized by the interference peaks which distribute on opposite sides of the central interference peak. Temperature responses of the MFIOC are experimentally measured from-40°C to 80°C. Results show that the proposed configuration can achieve simultaneous dual-channel transient measurements with resolution of-90 d B and dynamic range of 90 d B. Based on the artifcial boundary method, we frst derive the exact artifcial nonrefecting boundary conditions. For the numerical implementation, we employ the quadrature scheme proposed in Tian and Du (SIAM J Numer Anal 51:3458-3482, 2013) to discretize the nonlocal operator, and apply the z-transform to the discrete nonlocal system in an exterior domain, and derive an exact solution expression for the discrete system. This solution expression is referred to our exact nonrefecting boundary condition and leads us to reformulate the original infnite discrete system into an equivalent fnite discrete system. Meanwhile, the trapezoidal quadrature rule is introduced to discretize the contour integral involved in exact boundary conditions. | 12 | Common susceptibility variants of KDR and IGF-1R are associated with poststroke depression in the Chinese population显示文摘Background Depression,one of the most frequent complications after stroke,increases the disease’s burden and physical disability.Poststroke depression(PSD)is a multifactorial disease with genetic,environmental and biological factors involved in its occurrence.Genetic studies on PSD to date have mainly focused on the monoamine system and brain-derived neurotrophic factors.However,understanding is still limited about the influence of the single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)of other neurotrophic factors on PSD.Aims The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between seven vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)family gene variants that occur with PSD.Methods A multicentre candidate gene study from five hospitals in Jiangsu Province from June 2013 to December 2014 involved 121 patients with PSD and 131 patients with non-PSD.Demographic characteristics and neuropsychological assessments were collected.Theχ^(2)test was used to evaluate categorical variables,while the independent t-test was applied to continuous variables.SNPs in seven genes(VEGFA,VEGFB,KDR,FLT-1,IGF-1,IGF-1R and PlGF)were genotyped.Single-marker association for PSD was analysed byχ^(2)tests and logistic regression using SPSS and PLINK software.Results Patients with PSD included more women and those with lower education levels,lower body mass indexes,lower Mini-Mental State Examination scores,and higher scores on the 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale than non-PSD patients.Ninety-two SNPs with seven genes were genotyped and passed quality control.The rs7692791 CC genotypes,the C allele of KDR and the rs9282715 T allele of IGF-1R increased the risk for PSD(χ^(2)=7.881,p=0.019;χ^(2)=4.259,p=0.039;χ^(2)=4.222,p=0.040,respectively).In addition,the SNP rs7692791 of KDR was significantly associated with PSD by the logistic regression of an additive model(p=0.015,OR=9.584,95%CI:1.549 to 59.31).Conclusions Patients with rs7692791 C allele carriers or the CC genotype of KDR and the rs9282715 T allele of IGF-1R may have PSD susceptibility.Findings such as these may help clinicians to identify the high-risk population for PSD earlier and,thus,enable them to provide more timely interventions. | Yingying Yue Linlin You Fuying Zhao Kezhong Zhang Yanyan Shi Hua Tang Jianxin Lu Shenghua Li Jinxia Cao Deqin Geng Aiqin Wu Yonggui Yuan | 2023 | General Psychiatry2023，36，1： | 1 |
| 13 | Management of post-stroke neuropsychiatric disorders显示文摘Post-stroke neuropsychiatric(NP) disorders are common and have complex etiologies.Multiple factors such as lesion location, personality characteristics, socioeconomic status, pre-stroke psychiatric history, and family support are the determining factors in most cases. Although depression and anxiety are more common, emotional incontinence and catastrophic reactions are also frequently observed. Post-stroke depression(PSD)has been associated with an increased risk of stroke recurrence. Despite its serious consequences and high prevalence, PSD remains undetected and untreated. Treatment options of NP disorders depend on severity, presentation at the time of diagnosis, and patient cooperation, and include antidepressants, mood stabilizers, exercise therapy, psychotherapy, and even revascularization. The efficient management of NP disorders improves outcomes, quality of life, and survival rates in post-stroke patients. | 15 | Infl uence of sequential tropical cyclones on phytoplankton blooms in the northwestern South China Sea显示文摘Upper ocean responses to the passage of sequential tropical cyclones over the northwestern South China Sea(SCS)in 2011 were investigated using satellite remote sensing data,Argo reanalysis data,and an array of mooring data.We found that the sea surface low temperature region lasted for more than 38 days and two phytoplankton blooms occurred after the passage of sequential tropical cyclones.The upper ocean cooling reached 2–5°C with a right-side bias was observed along the typhoon track to about 200 km.The maintenance of low temperature region and the two phytoplankton blooms were mainly driven by upwelling and near-inertial turbulence mixing induced by the sequential tropical cyclones.The fi rst phytoplankton bloom appeared on the 7 th day after the passage of the three tropical cyclones,and the chlorophyll-a(chl-a)concentration increased by 226%,which may be mainly driven by typhoons induced upwelling.The second phytoplankton bloom occurred on the 30 th day,the chl-a concentration increased by 290%.Further analysis suggested that only the typhoons with similar characteristics as Nesat and Nalgae can induce strong near-inertial oscillation(NIO).Strong turbulent mixing associated with the near-inertial baroclinic shear instability lasted for 26 days.The measured mean eddy diff usivity in the upper ocean was above 10-4 m 2/s after typhoon Nesat.Enhancement of the turbulent mixing in the upper ocean helped to transport nutrient-rich cold waters from the deep layer to the euphotic layer,and is a major mechanism for the long-term maintenance of low temperature region as well as the second phytoplankton bloom. | Tongyu WANG Shuwen ZHANG Fajin CHEN Yonggui MA Chen JIANG Jie YU | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021，39，1： | 1 |
| 16 | Insights into moisture content in coals of different ranks by low field nuclear resonance显示文摘The moisture occurrence in coal reservoirs has important significance in the evaluation of gas-bearing properties and production of coalbed methane(CBM).In order to investigate the occurrence mechanism of moisture content of coals,a series of experiments including mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP),low temperature nitrogen gas absorption/desorption(N_(2)GA)and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)are conducted in this study to characterize and quantify pore structure properties.The nature of occurrence of moisture content in coal reservoir pores is then divided into four categories by NMR saturation and centrifugation experiments.The bound water content in the adsorption pore accounts for the highest proportion.Based on the relevance of bound water content and its influencing factors,moisture occurrence in coal reservoirs of different ranks is revealed by SPSS statistical methods.The moisture content of low-rank coal is mainly controlled by elemental oxygen and specific surface area,whereas for medium-and high-rank coals,this is controlled mainly by minerals.Our study finds application in CBM evaluation and development. | Yanhui Yang Xiawei Li Yongping Zhang Yonggui Mei Ruixia Ding | 2020 | Energy Geoscience2020，1，3： | 1 |
| 17 | Synthesis and photo-responsive behaviors of hollow polyazobenzene micro-spheres显示文摘By means of distillation precipitation polymerization,the silica-hybrid particles with polyazobenzene shell (PAzo@SiO2) microspheres were prepared with 6-(4-methoxy-4'-oxy-azobenzene) hexyl methacrylate (Azo-M) as monomer,divinylbenzene (DVB) as cross-linker,and ~250 nm vinylated sol-gel silica particles as template. Hollow polyazobenzene microspheres were further developed after selective removal of the silica cores with HF solution. When the content of DVB related to Azo-M is 20 wt%,the acetonitrile is 200 mL,and the polymerization time is 4.5 h,the hollow PAzo microspheres with about 20 nm shell are successfully fabricated.
