12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Contrasting trends of PM2.5 and surface-ozone concentrations in China from 2013 to 2017显示文摘Although much attention has been paid to investigating and controlling air pollution in China,the trends of air-pollutant concentrations on a national scale have remained unclear.Here,we quantitatively investigated the variation of air pollutants in China using long-term comprehensive data sets from 2013 to 2017,during which Chinese government made major efforts to reduce anthropogenic emission in polluted regions.Our results show a significant decreasing trend in the PM2.5 concentration in heavily polluted regions of eastern China,with an annual decrease of〜7%compared with measurements in 2013.The measured decreased concentrations of SO2>NO2 and CO(a proxy for anthropogenic volatile organic compounds)could explain a large fraction of the decreased PM2.5 concentrations in different regions.As a consequence;the heavily polluted days decreased significantly in corresponding regions.Concentrations of organic aerosol;nitrate;sulfate,ammonium and chloride measured in urban Beijing revealed a remarkable reduction from 2013 to 2017;connecting the decreases in aerosol precursors with corresponding chemical components closely.However;surface-ozone concentrations showed increasing trends in most urban stations from 2013 to 2017;which indicates stronger photochemical pollution.The boundary-layer height in capital c让ies of eastern China showed no significant trends over the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions from 2013 to 2017;which confirmed the reduction in anthropogenic emissions.Our results demonstrated that the Chinese government was successful in the reduction of particulate matter in urban areas from 2013 to 2017,although the ozone concentration has increased significantly;suggesting a more complex mechanism of improving Chinese air quality in the future.Yonghong Wang Wenkang Gao Shuai Wang Tao Song Zhengyu Gong Dongsheng Ji Lili Wang Zirui Liu Guiqian Tang Yanfeng Huo Shili Tian Jiayun Li Mingge Li Yuan Yang Biwu Chu Tuukka Petaja Veli-Matti Kerminen Hong He Jiming Hao Markku Kulmala Yuesi Wang Yuanhang Zhang 2020National Science Review2020,7,8:51
3A Novel Adaptive Wavelet Thresholding with Identical Correlation Shrinkage Function for ECG Noise Removal显示文摘On the basis of wavelet theory, a novel Adaptive wavelet thresholding method(AWT) is proposed for the ECG signal enhancement. The best base wavelet for ECG signal filtering can be automatically obtained through the cross correlation coefficient and the energy to entropy ratio. The variable universal threshold(Var Universal) is applied to different decomposition level so as to suppress diverse noise. To achieve a smooth cut-off transition, an identical correlation shrinkage function(Ico Shrinkage) is also adopted in the AWT according to its correlation coefficients with the hard thresholding and the soft thresholding. The performance of AWT is compared with four threshold approaches and six shrinkage functions, respectively, on the basis of 150 practical ECG signals of 30 subjects. The filtering results reveal that the AWT can adaptively choose an optimal base wavelet for a specific ECG signal. 6Effect of wastewater composition on the calcium carbonate precipitation in upflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactors显示文摘Calcium carbonate often precipitates in anaerobic reactors treating wastewater with high calcium content.The aim of this paper is to study the effect of wastewater composition on calcium carbonate precipitation in upflow anaerobic sludge blanket(UASB)reactors.Two laboratory-scale UASB reactors were operated with calcium-containing influents using acetate and carbohydrate as substrate,respectively.There was an obvious accumulation of inorganic precipitate observed in the biogranules.Observations via scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)showed that the acclimated biogranules in the two reactors differed in microstructure.Calcium carbonate was found to have precipitated on the surface of acetate-degrading biogranules,but precipitated at the core of the carbohydrate-degrading biogranules.The results indicated that substrates had significant influence on the location of calcium carbonate precipitation in anaerobic granular sludge,which was expected due to the different methanogens distribution and pH gradient within the granular sludge degrading various substrates.Moreover,the location of calcium carbonate precipitation substantially affected the specific methanogenic activity(SMA)of the granular sludge.The SMA of the acetate-degrading biogranules dropped from 1.96 gCODCH4·gVSS^(–1)·d^(–1)to 0.61 gCODCH4·gVSS^(–1)·d^(–1)after 180-d of operation in the reactor.However,the SMA of the carbohydrate-degrading biogranules was not adversely affected by calcium carbonate precipitation.Shucheng YANG Yanling HE Yonghong LIU Charles CHOU Pengxiang ZHANG Dongqi WANG 2010Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2010,4,2:6
7Single event upset sensitivity of 45 nm FDSOI and SOI FinFET SRAM显示文摘In this work single event upset(SEU) sensitivity of 45 nm fully depleted silicon-on-insulator(FDSOI) static random access memory(SRAM) cell and that of SOI fin-shaped field-effect-transistor(FinFET) SRAM cell have been investigated by 3D TCAD simulations.The critical charges and SEU threshold linear energy transfer(LET) value of the two SRAM cells are consistent due to similar gate capacitance.The low electrical field and the high recombination rate account for the non-sensitivity to SEU in heavily doped drain region.Compared with FDSOI SRAM,SOI FinFET SRAM cell exhibits lower SEU sensitivity at the center of the gate.The smaller sensitive area in SOI FinFET SRAM cell may result in a smaller SEU saturation cross section than that of SOI FinFET SRAM.TANG Du LI YongHong ZHANG GuoHe HE ChaoHui FAN YunYun 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,7:6
8Zanthoxylum-specific whole genome duplication and recent activity of transposable elements in the highly repetitive paleotetraploid Z.bungeanum genome显示文摘Zanthoxylum bungeanum is an important spice and medicinal plant that is unique for its accumulation of abundant secondary metabolites,which create a characteristic aroma and tingling sensation in the mouth.Owing to the high proportion of repetitive sequences,high heterozygosity,and increased chromosome number of Z.bungeanum,the assembly of its chromosomal pseudomolecules is extremely challenging.Here,we present a genome sequence for Z.bungeanum,with a dramatically expanded size of 4.23 Gb,assembled into 68 chromosomes.This genome is approximately tenfold larger than that of its close relative Citrus sinensis.After the divergence of Zanthoxylum and Citrus,the lineage-specific whole-genome duplication event q-WGD approximately 26.8 million years ago(MYA)and the recent transposable element(TE)burst~6.41 MYA account for the substantial genome expansion in Z.bungeanum.The independent Zanthoxylum-specific WGD event was followed by numerous fusion/fission events that shaped the genomic architecture.Integrative genomic and transcriptomic analyses suggested that prominent speciesspecific gene family expansions and changes in gene expression have shaped the biosynthesis of sanshools,terpenoids,and anthocyanins,which contribute to the special flavor and appearance of Z.bungeanum.In summary,the reference genome provides a valuable model for studying the impact of WGDs with recent TE activity on gene gain and loss and genome reconstruction and provides resources to accelerate Zanthoxylum improvement.Shijing Feng Zhenshan Liu Jian Cheng Zihe Li Lu Tian Min Liu Tuxi Yang Yulin Liu Yonghong Liu He Dai Zujun Yang Qing Zhang Gang Wang Jisen Zhang Huifeng Jiang Anzhi Wei 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:5
9Effect of Yiqiyangyin recipe on heparanase and nephrin in rats with adriamycin-induced nephropathy显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To discuss the mechanism of Yiqiyangyin recipe in rats with adriamycin (ADR)-induced nephropathy. METHODS: We randomly divided 30 Sprague-Dawley rats into 5 groups: control, model, glucocorticoid, Chinese herb, and Chinese herb plus glucocorticoid groups. The 24-h urine volume was collected on days 7, 14, 21, and 28 after ADR injection, and all rats were killed on day 28. We measured the 24-h levels of urinary protein, serum cholesterol, and serum triglycerides, and renal function of all rats by using routine biochemical methods. Pathological changes in the rat kidneys were observed under light and electron microscopes. Heparanase (HPA) mRNA expression levels were measured using re-al-time fluorescence-quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Urine levels of HPA in all groups were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The expression of nephrin was detected by immunohistochemical staining and quantitatively analyzed using Motic image analysis 3.2 software. RESULTS: The levels of urinary protein and serum triglycerides and cholesterol in rats with ADR-induced nephropathy increased on day 14. The serum albumin levels simultaneously decreased. All the changes reached the peak on day 28. Examination under the light microscope showed inflammatory cells and slight fibroplasia in the renal interstitium in the model group, but fewer inflammatory cells were observed in the intervention groups than those in the model group. Examination under the electron microscope showed extensive fusion of foot processes in ADR rats. HPA mRNA expression was higher in the model group than that in the control group. The HPA mRNA levels in the intervention groups, especially in the Chinese herb group, and Chinese herb plus glucocorticoid group were significantly lower than the level in the model group. The HPA expression levels correlated significantly with the proteinuria level. No significant difference was found in the HPA level in urine between the intervention groups and the model group, whereas the model group had a higher urinary HPA level than the control group. Nephrin mRNA expression levels in the model group were higher than those in the control group. Nephrin mRNA expression levels were significantly lower in the intervention groups than that in the model group, especially the Chinese herb plus glucocorticoid group. Compared with the control group, themodel group showed increased nephrin expression in the kidney. Nephrin levels in the other groups, especially in the Chinese herb plus glucocorticoid group, were significantly lower than that in the model group. The nephrin levels in the kidney were negatively correlated with the proteinuria level. CONCLUSION: Yiqiyangyin recipe could attenuate foot process injury particularly in combination with a steroid reduce the development of proteinuria possibly by inhibition of HPA in the kidney, and regulate the expression of nephrin in rats with ADR-induced nephropathy. 14AM ultrasound-modulated optical tomography with real-time FFT显示文摘We report on a novel ultrasound-modulated optical tomographic technique applied in dense tissue-simulating turbid media. A 1 MHz ultrasound beam is focused into the media to modulate and tag the scattering laser light passing through the ultrasonic focused zone. A 10 kHz sinusoidal wave, as a detection wave, is carried by the ultrasound beam through amplitude-modulation (AM). The scattering photons that come from the focused zone carry the modulated information, received by detector and demodulated by real-time fast Fourier transform (FFT). The optical tomographic images of the tissue simulating media and buried object are reconstructed with AM spectral intensity. This method can be applied to imaging three-dimensional tissue structures with different optical parameters. 16China Antihypertensive Trial in Acute Ischemic Stroke II (CATIS-2): rationale and design显示文摘Backgrounds Increased blood pressure(BP)for patients who had an acute ischaemic stroke is associated with poor functional outcome,however the optimal timing of antihypertensive therapy is unknown.Aims We aim to compare early antihypertensive treatment to delayed antihypertensive treatment for reducing the risk of composite major disability and mortality at 3 months in acute ischaemic stroke.Design The China Antihypertensive Trial in Acute Ischemic Stroke II(CATIS-2)trial is a multicentre,randomised,open-label,blinded-endpoints trial that will be conducted in 100 hospitals in China.The primary outcome is the composite of death and major disability(modified Rankin Scale score≥3)at 3 months of randomisation.Antihypertensive treatment will be received immediately after randomisation in the early treatment group,aimed at average systolic BP by 10%-20%reduction within the first 24 hours,and achieving an average BP level of<140/90 mm Hg within 5 days.Patients in the delayed treatment group will discontinue any antihypertension medications for the first 7 days of randomisation,and will receive antihypertensive therapy achieving a BP goal of<140/90 mm Hg after 7 days.Conclusion The CATIS-2 trial will be testing the hypotheses that early BP lowering leads to improved functional outcome without any other harms,and developing clinical guidelines of the BP management for patients who had an acute ischaemic stroke.Liping Liu Yilong Wang Xuewei Xie Dacheng Liu Aili Wang Penglian Wang Suwen Shen Chongke Zhong Yufei Wei Tan Xu Yuesong Pan Yong Jiang Xia Meng David Wang Yonghong Zhang Jiang He Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:3
17Contents Variation Analysis ofγ-Amino Butyric Acid in Semen sojae praeparatum Fermentation Using Online Pre-Column Derivatization-HPLC显示文摘This paper reported the contents variation analysis ofγ-amino butyric acid(GABA)in Semen sojae praeparatum(SSP)which is a famous traditional Chinese medicine.High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used and GABA was derivatized by online pre-column derivatization with o-phthalaldehyde(OPA).To validate this method,the precision,stability,repeatability and recovery were discussed.In the concentration range from 0.0125 to 0.400 mg/m L,the calibration curve for GABA was linear and the regression equation was obtained with correlation coefficient(R2)of 0.9999.Relatively high levels of GABA exist in SSP and the content changes of GABA at different time points during the fermenting process were detected.At the'yellow cladding'stage,GABA level was very low or even undetectable;the'secondary fermentation'stage witnessed a rapid increase of GABA content to 1.39-5.52 mg/g,which remained stable after 18 days of'secondary fermentation'.This study demonstrated that GABA was generated at the'secondary fermentation'stage,revealing the significance and rationality of the'secondary fermentation'stage in the fermenting process of SSP.On the other hand,it suggested the downside of taking soy isoflavones as the only measurement in existing quality assessment and optimization approach for the fermenting process of SSP.WENG Meizhi HE Jing REN Jiaxiu LIANG Yonghong CHEN Qingfeng SU Mingsheng WANG Liyuan XIE Xiaomei 2021Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2021,26,1:2
18A four-gene signature-derived risk score for glioblastoma:prospects for prognostic and response predictive analyses显示文摘Objective: Glioblastoma(GBM) is the most common primary malignant brain tumor regulated by numerous genes, with poor survival outcomes and unsatisfactory response to therapy.Therefore, a robust, multi-gene signature-derived model is required to predict the prognosis and treatment response in GBM.Methods: Gene expression data of GBM from TCGA and GEO datasets were used to identify differentially expressed genes(DEGs)through DESeq2 or LIMMA methods.The DEGs were then overlapped and used for survival analysis by univariate and multivariate COX regression.Based on the gene signature of multiple survival-associated DEGs, a risk score model was established,and its prognostic and predictive role was estimated through Kaplan–Meier analysis and log-rank test.Gene set enrichment analysis(GSEA) was conducted to explore high-risk score-associated pathways.Western blot was used for protein detection.Results: Four survival-associated DEGs of GBM were identified: OSMR, HOXC10, SCARA3, and SLC39A10.The four-gene signature-derived risk score was higher in GBM than in normal brain tissues.GBM patients with a high-risk score had poor survival outcomes.The high-risk group treated with temozolomide chemotherapy or radiotherapy survived for a shorter duration than the low-risk group.GSEA showed that the high-risk score was enriched with pathways such as vasculature development and cell adhesion.Western blot confirmed that the proteins of these four genes were differentially expressed in GBM cells.Conclusions: The four-gene signature-derived risk score functions well in predicting the prognosis and treatment response in GBM and will be useful for guiding therapeutic strategies for GBM patients.Mianfu Cao Juan Cai Ye Yuan Yu Shi Hong Wu Qing Liu Yueliang Yao Lu Chen Weiqi Dang XiangZhang Jingfang Xiao Kaidi Yang Zhicheng He Xiaohong Yao Yonghong Cui Xia Zhang Xiuwu Bian 2019Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,3:2
19Quartz crystal microbalance study of the kinetics of surface initiated polymerization显示文摘Surface initiated polymerization (SIP) is a valuable tool in synthesizing functional polymer brushes,yet the kinetic understanding of SIP lags behind the development of its application. We apply quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) to address two issues that are not fully addressed yet play a central role in the rational design of functional polymer brushes,namely quantitative determination of the kinetics and the initiator efficiency (IE) of SIP. SIP are monitored online using QCM. Two quantitative frequencythickness (f-T) relations make the direct determination and comparison of the rate of polymerization possible even for different monomers. Based on the bi-termination model,the kinetics of SIP is simply described by two variables,which are related to two polymerization constants,namely a = 1/(kp,s,app-[M][R·]0) and b = kt,s,app/(kp,s,app[M]). Factors that could alter the kinetics of SIP are studied,including (i) the molecular weight of monomers,(ii) the solvent used,(iii) the initial density of the initiator,(iv) the concentration of monomer,[M],and (v) the catalyst system (ratio among the ingredients,metal,ligands,and additives). The dynamic nature of IE is also described by these two variables,IE = a/(a + bt). Instead of the molecular weight and the polydispersity,we suggest that film thickness,the two kinetic parameters (a and b),and the initial density of the initiator and IE be the parameters that characterize ultrathin polymer brushes. 20Nonsmooth identification of mechanical systems with backlash-like hysteresis显示文摘Backlash-like hysteresis is one of the nonsmooth and multi-valued nonlinearities usually existing in mechanical systems. The traditional identification method is quite difficult to be used to model the systems involved with such complex nonlinearities. In this paper, a nonsmooth recursive identification algorithm for the systems with backlash-like hysteresis is proposed. In this method, the concept of Clarke subgradient is introduced to approximate the gradients at nonsmooth points and the so-called bundle method is used to obtain the optimization search direction in nonsmooth cases. Then, a recursive algorithm based on the idea of bundle method is developed for parameter estimation. After that, the convergence analysis of the algorithm is investigated.
