1Vertical ozone profiles deduced from measurements of SBUS on FY-3 satellite显示文摘The FY-3 satellite is a second-generation Chinese polar-orbit meteorological satellite.The Solar Backscatter Ultraviolet Sounder (SBUS),one of the main payloads on the FY-3 satellite,is the first Chinese ozone-monitoring instrument on a meteorological satellite.As part of the in-orbit validation of FY-3,we carried out a retrieval trial using measurements from SBUS during the period of 17-30 July,2008,and compared those data with measurements and retrieved profiles from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellite SBUV/2.The results show that the precision of the measurements and retrieved profiles are quite good.The averaged relative difference percentages of the ozone profiles retrieved from SBUS and those from SBUV/2 are within ±7%.HUANG FuXiang LIU NianQing ZHAO MingXian WANG ShuRong HUANG Yu 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10:9
2Study on structure-activity relationship of mutation-dependent herbicide resistance acetohydroxyacid synthase through 3D-QSAR and mutation显示文摘Seventy-four sulfonylureas were synthesized and tested for their inhibitory activity against the whole enzyme of E. coli acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS, EC 2.2.1.6) isoenzyme II, and 3D-QSAR analyses were performed based on these inhibitory activities. The binding conformation of chlorimuron-ethyl, a commercial herbicide of AHAS, in the crystal structure of AHAS complex was extracted and used as template to build the initial three-dimensional structure of other sulfonylureas, and then all structures were fully geometry optimized. After systematic optimization of the alignment rule, molecular orienta- tion, grid space and attenuation factor, two satisfactory models with excellent performances (CoMFA: q2 = 0.735, r2 = 0.954, n = 7, r 2 pred = 0.832; CoMSIA: q2 = 0.721, r2 = 0.913, n = 8, r 2pred = 0.844) were estab- lished. By mapping the 3D contour maps of CoMFA and CoMSIA models into the possible inhibitory active site in the crystal structure of catalytic subunit of yeast AHAS, a plausible binding model for AHAS, with best fit QSAR in the literature so far, was proposed. Moreover, the results of 3D-QSAR were further utilized to interpret resistance of site-directed mutants. A relative activity index (RAI) for AHAS enzyme mutant was defined for the first time to relate the 3D-QSAR and resistance of mutants. This study, for the first time, demonstrated that combination of 3D-QSAR and enzyme mutation can be used to decipher the molecular basis of ligand-receptor interaction mechanism. 3Identification of Parameters in 2D-FEM of Valve Piping System within NPP Utilizing Seismic Response显示文摘Nuclear power plants(NPP)contain plenty of valve piping systems(VPS’s)which are categorized into high anti-seismic grades.Tasks such as seismic qualification,health monitoring and damage diagnosis of VPS’s in its design and operation processes all depend on finite element method.However,in engineering practice,there is always deviations between the theoretical and the measured responses due to the inaccurate value of the structural parameters in the model.The structure parameters identification of VPS within NPP is still an unexplored domain to a large extent.In this paper,the initial 2D-finite element model(FEM)for VPS with a DN80 gate valve was updated by utilizing seismic response.The objective function used in the model updating procedure is the vibration control equation error of the VPS.The experimental results show that the updated 2D-FEM can accurately predict the original dynamic characteristic of the VPS.It was also found the Rayleigh damping coefficients corresponding to the VPS vary slightly with the change in seismic excitation amplitude.The research displayed the complete procedure of updating the complex structured initial FEM by utilizing seismic response,and the results show that the parameters can be accurately identified even if the seismic response used for updating merely contained the fundamental frequency information of the structure.Ruiyuan Xue Shurong Yu Xiheng Zhang 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,10:3
4Extractive denitrogenation of shale oil using imidazolium ionic liquids显示文摘The potential applications of shale oil as a substitute energy source are adversely influenced due to its high nitrogen content.In this work,four imidazolium ionic liquids(ILs),i.e.,1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride([Bmim]Cl),1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate([Bmim]Ac),1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate/ZnAc2([Bmim]Ac/ZnAc2)and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride/ZnAc2([Bmim]Cl/ZnAc2),were used to extract the basic nitrides and neutral nitrides from shale oil.The influence of extraction time,temperature,properties of N-compounds,ILs structure,mass ratio of IL/oil,multiple cycles of denitrogenation,physical mixing of ILs and ILs recyclability on extractive denitrogenation was systematically investigated.The denitrogenation performance of all ILs was determined and investigated from micro-level view withσ-profile.It was observed that,ILs composed of anions with weaker HB acceptor capacity,have the higher N-extraction efficiency to the neutral nitrogen compounds with weaker HB acceptor capacity.More than 96%N-extraction efficiency was achieved at the end of a single extraction cycle for time<10 min under 40℃C and 1:1 of IL:oil(w/w),especially 100%N-extraction efficiency was realized for carbazole and indole.The N-extraction efficiency up to 60.1%and 53.7%for real shale oil was realized by[Bmim]Ac and[Bmim]Ac/ZnAc2,respectively,which are about 10%better than other non-hydrodenitrogenation technologies.Moreover,[Bmim]Ac and[Bmim]Ac/ZnAc2 exhibited almost the same extractive denitrogenation performance after regeneration.This work has developed a new approach to lessen the nitrogen content of shale oil effectively and economically.Shurong Gao Shengfan Fang Ruozheng Song Xiaochun Chen Guangren Yu 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,2:3
5Preparation of Nano-Sized γ-Al_2O_3 Supported Iron Catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis by Solvated Metal Atom Impregnation Methods显示文摘Two types of small iron clusters supported onγ-Al2O3-RT(dehydroxylated at room temperature) andγ-Al2O3-800 (dehydroxylated at 800℃) were prepared by solvated metal atom impregnation (SMAI) techniques. The iron atom precursor complex, bis(toluene)iron(0) formed in the metal atom reactor, was impregnated intoγ-Al2O3 having different concentrations of surface hydroxyl groups to study the effect of surface hydroxylation on the crucial stage of iron cluster formation. Catalysts prepared in this way were characterized by TEM, Mossbauer, and chemisorption measurements, and the results show that higher concentration of surface hydroxyl groups ofγ-Al2O3-RT favors the formation of more positively charged supported iron cluster Fen/γ-Al2O3-RT, and the lower concentration of surface hydroxyl groups ofγ-Al2O3-800 favors the formation of basically neutral supported iron cluster Fen/γ-Al2O3-800. The measured results also indicate that the higher concentration of surface hydroxyl groups causes the rapid decomposition of precursor complex, bis(toluene)iron(0), and favors the formation of relatively large iron cluster. Consequently, these two types of catalysts show different catalytic properties in Fischer-Tropsch reaction. 7Chemometrics-assisted excitation-emission fluorescence spectroscopy for simultaneous determination of ethoxyquin and tert-butylhydroquinone in biological fluid samples显示文摘A novel method applying simple, rapid, effective and inexpensive excitation-emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy coupled with second-order calibration method for simultaneous determination of ethoxyquin (EQ) and tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) contents in biological fluid samples was developed. After a simple data preprocessing that was to insert zeros below the first-order Rayleigh scattering, the second-order calibration method based on the alternating normalization-weighed error (ANWE) algorithm was used to deal with EEM data. Via the introduced 'second-order advantage', the individual con- centrations of the analytes of interest could be obtained even in the presence of uncalibrated interferences. The experimental concentration ranges for the analytes were as follows: EQ, from 4.58 to 20.6 g mL 1 in plasma and from 6.87 to 20.6 g mL 1 in urine; TBHQ, from 4.49 to 20.2 g mL-1 in plasma and from 6.73 to 22.4 g mL-1 in urine. The recoveries from spiked biological fluid samples were in the ranges of 92.8%-106.2% for EQ and 94.6%-107.2% for TBHQ. 8Interaction of epicatechin with bovine serum albumin using fluorescence quenching combined with chemometrics显示文摘The interaction between BSA and epicatechin was studied using fluorescence quenching titrations combined with trilinear decomposition method and excitation-emission matrix(EEM)fluorescence.The resolved spectra were highly similar with the actual ones which indicated that the resolved results were reliable.The relevant parameters of the binding process were obtained by quantifying each substance in the complicated mixtures in situ.The quenching was static quenching,epicatechin had a weak interaction with BSA and the binding site was one.The total concentration and the free concentration of quenchers had different effect on the system.The results demonstrated that the method exploited in this article is a useful tool to investigate complicated interactions,avoiding complicated pretreatment and simplify experimental procedure.ZHAI Min WU HaiLong ZHANG ShuRong ZHANG XiHua SUN YanMei YU RuQin 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,5:2
9Multi-objective microgrid optimal dispatching based on improved bird swarm algorithm显示文摘Multi-objective optimal dispatching schemes with intelligent algorithms are recognized as effective measures to promote the economics and environmental friendliness of microgrid applications.However,the low accuracy and poor convergence of these algorithms have been challenging for system operators.The bird swarm algorithm(BSA),a new bio-heuristic cluster intelligent algorithm,can potentially address these challenges;however,its computational iterative process may fall into a local optimum and result in premature convergence when optimizing small portions of multi-extremum functions.To analyze the impact of a multi-objective economic-environmental dispatching of a microgrid and overcome the aforementioned problems of the BSA,a self-adaptive levy flight strategy-based BSA(LF-BSA)was proposed.It can solve the dispatching problems of microgrid and enhance its dispatching convergence accuracy,stability,and speed,thereby improving its optimization performance.Six typical test functions were used to compare the LF-BSA with three commonly accepted algorithms to verify its excellence.Finally,a typical summer-time daily microgrid scenario under grid-connected operational conditions was simulated.The results proved the feasibility of the proposed LF-BSA,effectiveness of the multi-objective optimization,and necessity of using renewable energy and energy storage in microgrid dispatching optimization.Xiaoyan Ma Yunfei Mu Yu Zhang Chenxi Zang Shurong Li Xinyang Jiang Meng Cui 2022Global Energy Interconnection2022,5,2:2
10Theoretical analysis and experimental study on the dynamic behavior of a valve pipeline system during an earthquake显示文摘To study the dynamic behavior of pipeline systems installed with large-mass valves within nuclear power plants during earthquakes,seismic simulation tests are carried out on a pipeline system equipped with a DN80 gate valve,and the FEM updating technique is used to identify the stiffness distribution of the valve.By conducting tests and a numerical analysis,the following conclusions are obtained:After a large-mass valve is installed in the pipeline,the system shows higher sensitivity to intermediate and high frequency components in the earthquake than low frequency components.It is possible for the intermediate frequency components to be amplified by the valve in the horizontal direction,while the pipes tend to amplify the high frequency components in horizontal and vertical directions.Changes in the high-order modes of the system depend on valve stiffness distribution.Since the existence of a valve makes pipeline system damping distribute with an obvious non-proportional feature,when the response spectrum method is used to calculate the response of the pipeline system,it could result in an underestimation of low-damping positions and overestimation of high-damping positions.Xue Ruiyuan Yu Shurong Zhang Xiheng 2021Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2021,20,4:2

18Overexpression of BnKCS1-1,BnKCS1-2,and BnCER1-2 promotes cuticular wax production and increases drought tolerance in Brassica napus显示文摘Higher amounts of cuticular wax in plants have been associated with improved plant stress tolerance and increased potential for industrial use.In this study,orthologs of KCS1 and CER1 in Arabidopsis,designated BnKCS1-1,BnKCS1-2,and BnCER1-2,were isolated from Brassica napus.Transcription of BnKCS1-1 and BnKCS1-2 in B.napus were induced by abscisic acid(ABA)and drought treatment,while transcription of BnCER1-2 was induced only by drought treatment.All three gene transcripts decreased significantly when plants were treated with methyl jasmonate(MeJA)or subjected to cold stress.Overexpression of BnKCS1-1,BnKCS1-2,and BnCER1-2 under the control of the CaMV35S promoter led to a significant increase in cuticular wax on transgenic B.napus leaves.BnKCS1-1 and BnKCS1-2 overexpression led to similar differences from non-transformed plants,with significantly higher levels of aldehydes(C29 and C30),alkanes(C28,C29,and C31)and secondary alcohols(C28 and C29),and a significantly lower level of C29 ketone.Overexpression of BnCER1-2 led to an increase in alkanes(C27,C28,C29,and C31),a decrease in secondary alcohols(C28 and C29),and insignificant changes in other wax components.Scanning electron microscopy revealed that overexpression of BnKCS1-1,BnKCS1-2,and BnCER1-2 in B.napus resulted in a higher density of wax crystals on the leaf surface than observed in non-transformed plants.Transgenic plants showed a reduced rate of water loss and increased drought tolerance compared to non-transformed plants.These results suggest that BnKCS1-1,BnKCS1-2,and BnCER1-2 gene products can modify the cuticular wax of B.napus.Changing cuticular waxes using transgenic approaches is a new strategy for genetic improvement of plant drought tolerance and provides an opportunity for development of B.napus as a surface-wax crop.Yanmei Wang Shurong Jin Yi Xu Shuai Li Shuangjuan Zhang Zheng Yuan Jiana Li Yu Ni 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,1:1
