1SIDT1-dependent absorption in the stomach mediates host uptake of dietary and orally administered microRNAs显示文摘Dietary microRNAs have been shown to be absorbed by mammals and regulate host gene expression,but the absorption mechanism remains unknown.Here,we show that SIDT1 expressed on gastric pit cells in the stomach is required for the absorption of dietary microRNAs.SIDT1-deficient mice show reduced basal levels and impaired dynamic absorption of dietary microRNAs.Notably,we identified the stomach as the primary site for dietary microRNA absorption,which is dramatically attenuated in the stomachs of SIDT1-deficient mice.Mechanistic analyses revealed that the uptake of exogenous microRNAs by gastric pit cells is SIDT1 and low-pH dependent.Furthermore,oral administration of plant-derived miR2911 retards liver fibrosis,and this protective effect was abolished in SIDT1-deficient mice.Our findings reveal a major mechanism underlying the absorption of dietary microRNAs,uncover an unexpected role of the stomach and shed light on developing small RNA therapeutics by oral delivery.Qun Chen Fan Zhang Lei Dong Huimin Wu Jie Xu Hanqin Li Jin Wang Zhen Zhou Chunyan Liu Yanbo Wang Yuyan Liu Liangsheng Lu Chen Wang Minghui Liu Xi Chen Cheng Wang Chunni Zhang Dangsheng Li Ke Zen Fangyu Wang Qipeng Zhang Chen-Yu Zhang 2021Cell Research2021,31,3:10

4Industrial Poverty Alleviation Model in Southwestern High-altitude Mountainous Areas of China——A Case Study of Industrial Poverty Alleviation of Xueshan Township in Luquan County of Yunnan Province through Planting Codonopsis pilosula显示文摘Due to the severe restrictions of natural conditions and ecological environment,high-altitude mountainous areas usually become the ' hard bones' in the battle against poverty. Xueshan Township,Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County of Yunnan Province,located in the alpine valley of Jinsha River,is a major township with wide and deep poverty,and the incidence of poverty is up to 45. 00%. In recent years,Xueshan Township has insisted on the battle against poverty,made effort to develop the Codonopsis pilosula industry,and successfully developed a road to poverty alleviation through C. pilosula industry,and formed a unique industrial poverty alleviation model by the end of 2018,the incidence of poverty dropped to 0. 74%. 5Energy-Optimal Braking Control Using a Double-Layer Scheme for Trajectory Planning and Tracking of Connected Electric Vehicles显示文摘Most researches focus on the regenerative braking system design in vehicle components control and braking torque distribution,few combine the connected vehicle technologies into braking velocity planning.If the braking intention is accessed by the vehicle-to-everything communication,the electric vehicles(EVs)could plan the braking velocity for recovering more vehicle kinetic energy.Therefore,this paper presents an energy-optimal braking strategy(EOBS)to improve the energy efficiency of EVs with the consideration of shared braking intention.First,a double-layer control scheme is formulated.In the upper-layer,an energy-optimal braking problem with accessed braking intention is formulated and solved by the distance-based dynamic programming algorithm,which could derive the energy-optimal braking trajectory.In the lower-layer,the nonlinear time-varying vehicle longitudinal dynamics is transformed to the linear time-varying system,then an efficient model predictive controller is designed and solved by quadratic programming algorithm to track the original energy-optimal braking trajectory while ensuring braking comfort and safety.Several simulations are conducted by jointing MATLAB and CarSim,the results demonstrated the proposed EOBS achieves prominent regeneration energy improvement than the regular constant deceleration braking strategy.Finally,the energy-optimal braking mechanism of EVs is investigated based on the analysis of braking deceleration,battery charging power,and motor efficiency,which could be a guide to real-time control.Haoxuan Dong Weichao Zhuang Guodong Yin Liwei Xu Yan Wang Fa’an Wang Yanbo Lu 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,5:3
6The study on the dynamic response performance of PEMFC with electrodeposited RuO_2·xH_2O-Pt/C electrode显示文摘Dynamic response performance of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells affects its durability and reliability significantly. In this study, electrodeposited RuO2 xH2O-Pt/C was prepared to promote the PEM fuel cell dynamic response performance. The prepared RuO2 xH2O-Pt/C was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS), which shows that RuO2 xH2O was electrodeposited on the surface of Pt/C. Performance of single cells with and without RuO2 xH2O-Pt/C at the cathode under a certain operating condition was studied using cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) and polarization curve techniques. When the fuel cell modified with RuO2 xH2O-Pt/C was operated at lower pressure, a faster and more stable dynamic response could be found. 7Enhanced removal of bisphenol A by cyclodextrin in photocatalytic systems:Degradation intermediates and toxicity evaluation显示文摘At present,the assessment of photooxidation system mainly focuses on the photodegradation efficie ncy of target pollutant,lacking of the toxicity assessment in the photocatalysis process.Here,photodecomposition of bisphenol A(BPA)was used to investigate the performance of several cyclodextrin modified photocatalysts.Moreover,the comprehensive toxicity changes of BPA under different photocatalytic oxidation conditions were conducted.Theβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD)modified photocatalyst,including titanium dioxide(CM-β-CD-TiO_(2)),carbon nitride(CM-β-CD-C_(3)N_(4))and cadmium sulfide(SH-β-CD-AM/CdS)exhibit high degradation rate and mineralization efficiency of BPA.The highest total organic carbon(TOC)removal of BPA observed in the oxidation system of SH-β-CD-AM/CdS nano reactor(73.4%).The main oxidation intermediates in these systems were detected,and the comprehension toxicity of BPA and its oxidation intermediates in different system were compared by toxicity estimation software tool(T.E.S.T.)based on quantitative structure-activity relationship(QSAR)prediction.The results show thatβ-CD can facilitate the photodecomposition of the target contaminant.Howeve r,many oxidation intermediates with high compre hensive toxicity,eve n in the oxidation system with high B PA removal,can still be detected.Therefo re,not only decomposition of target contaminant but also the comprehensive toxicity of oxidation intermediates should be regarded as index to evaluate a photocatalysis technology.Yi Zhou Jie He Jian Lu Yongdi Liu Yanbo Zhou 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:3
8Revealing Spatial Spillover Effect in High-Tech Industry Agglomeration from a High-Skilled Labor Flow Network Perspective显示文摘Understanding the high-tech industrial agglomeration from a spatial-spillover perspective is essential for cities to gain economic and technological competitive advantages.Along with rapid urbanization and the development of fast transportation networks,socioeconomic interactions between cities have been ever-increasing,traditional spatial metrics are not enough to describe actual inter-city connections.High-skilled labor flow between cities strongly influences the high-tech industrial agglomeration,yet receives less attention.By exploiting unique large-scale datasets and tools from complex network and data mining,the authors construct an inter-city high-skilled labor flow network,which was integrated into spatial econometric models.The regression results indicate that spatial-spillover effects exist in the development of high-tech industries in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration region.Moreover,the spatial-spillover effects are stronger among cities with a higher volume of high-skilled labor flows than among cities with just stronger geographic connections.Additionally,the authors investigate the channels for the spillover effects and discover that inadequate local government expenses on science and technology likely hamper the high-tech industrial agglomeration,so does the inadequate local educational provision.The increasing foreign direct investments in one city likely encourages the high-tech industrial agglomeration in other cities because of the policy inertia toward traditional industries.WANG Chen WANG Lu XUE Yanbo LI Ruiqi 2022Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2022,35,3:2

Based on the national strategy of targeted poverty alleviation,this paper combined the industrial development of targeted poverty alleviation with land circulation. According to the field survey on the current situation of land circulation and promotion of the industrial poverty alleviation in the typical project area of Zhongping Village in Zhongping Town and Jiaowuying Village in Jiulong Town in Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County in Yunnan Province,located in the high mountain canyon area of Jinsha River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in the west of China. 12Protective effects of Ginkgo biloba extract on 6-hydroxydopamine-induced apoptosis in PC12 cells显示文摘The present study analyzed the protective effects of Ginkgo biloba extract against 6-hydroxydopamine-induced PC12 cell apoptosis in a model of Parkinson's disease. The results showed that Ginkgo biloba extract had a potent cytoprotective action and inhibited apoptosis of PC12 cells induced by 6-hydroxydopamine. Ginkgo biloba extract decreased the ratio of Bax to Bcl-2 and markedly inhibited the activation of p53 and caspase-3. These experimental findings indicate that Ginkgo biloba extract may significantly reduce the effects of oxidative stress induced by 6-hydroxydopamine in PC12 cells and suppress cell apoptosis. 14Study on Absorption and Regeneration Performance of Novel Hybrid Solutions for CO_2 Capture显示文摘Recently, a kind of hybrid solution MEA-methanol shows a better CO_2 capture performance over aqueous MEA solution. However, the vaporization of methanol is the biggest disadvantage that hinders its application, so it is necessary to minimize the vaporization of methanol during both the absorption and regeneration processes. In this work, two kinds of hybrid solutions were studied and compared with aqueous MEA solution and MEA-methanol solution, including MEA/TEA/methanol solution and MEA/glycerol/methanol solution. The absorption property of MEA/glycerol/methanol solution is better than aqueous MEA solution within a certain period of time and the absorption property of MEA/TEA/methanol solution is too poor to be used in CO_2 capture. By increasing the concentration of TEA and decreasing the concentration of MEA, the absorption rate, CO_2 capture efficiency and absorption capacity all decreased. Upon adding glycerol, the cyclic capacity decreased and the generation temperature increased, and moreover, the density and viscosity also increased considerably. 15DESIGN OF EXACT REGENERATING HIERARCHICAL CODE FOR DISTRIBUTED STORAGE SYSTEM显示文摘Erasure code is widely used as the redundancy scheme in distributed storage system. When a storage node fails, the repair process often requires to transfer a large amount of data. Regenerating code and hierarchical code are two classes of codes proposed to reduce the repair bandwidth cost. Regenerating codes reduce the amount of data transferred by each helping node, while hierarchical codes reduce the number of nodes participating in the repair process. In this paper, we propose a 'sub-code nesting framework' to combine them together. The resulting regenerating hierarchical code has low repair degree as hierarchical code and lower repair cost than hierarchical code.
