| 1 | Effect of cholecystokinin octapeptide on tumor necrosis factor α transcription and nuclear factor-κB activity induced by lipopolysaccharide in rat pulmonary interstitial macrophages显示文摘AIM: To elucidate the anti-inflammatory mechanism ofan intestinal neuropeptide, sulfated cholecystokininoctapeptide (sCCK-8), the effects of sCCK-8 onlipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced tumor necrosis factorpulmonary interstitial macrophages (PIMs) werestudied.METHODS: PIMs from rat were stimulated with LPS(:1mg @ L-1) in the presence or absence of sCCK-8 (10-8-:10-6mol@ L-1) or/and CCK receptor antagonistproglumide (2 mg @ L-1). The expression of TNF-α mRNAwas assayed by reverse transcription polymerase chainreaction (RT-PCR) at 3h of the stimulation, and nuclearelectrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) at 1 h ofat 30 min of the stimulation was detected by Westernblot.RESULTS: sCCK-8, at concentrations from 10-8 mol @ L-1to 10-6 mol @ L-1 obviously inhibited LPS-induced TNF-αdependent manner, P<0.05, P<0.01. Stimulation PIMsP<0.01, which was elevated by sCCK-8, P<0.05. | 4 | Design and test of operation parameters for rice air broadcasting by unmanned aerial vehicle显示文摘Considering the difficulty of broadcasting in the small plots and complex terrain in South China,this research aimed to explore a new efficient broadcasting way and figure out advisable operation parameters by using a hollow 12-axis,rotor-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)which is typically made up of four groups of solid support structure,with each consisting of three axes and two rotor wings.A 3.7 L reverse pyramid-shape seed hopper with a 60 mm×13 mm rectangular outlet at the bottom was designed to realize self-gravity seeding.Rice seed firstly directly falls on the rotating disc driven by direct-current dynamo before being sown.The disc was located 120 mm above the ground,with a diameter of 350 mm.Under constant flight conditions,parameters of the on-board broadcasting devices(dropping speed referring to speed for the outlet and the broadcasting speed for the disc’s rotation speed)determine the uniformity of air broadcasting.The FUTABA T8FG transmitter and receiver system were employed as the remote control device.When the UAV flies at 3 m/s and 2 m above the ground with an expected seeding of 180 grain/m^(2),the RD(Right Down)knob marked 29 and LD(Left Down)knob marked-24 with a disc rotation speed of 900 r/min,the broadcasting lasts for 15 seconds with a 25%opening(1.95 cm^(2))of rectangular outlet.In order to verify the feasibility of air broadcasting parameters,the project team carried out a field broadcasting test by using a hollow multi-rotor UAV at Zhongluotan Test Base in Guangzhou in July,2014.In the square field plots of 0.09 hm^(2),flying path of air broadcasting operation was designed.The collected sampling data of broadcasting quantity per unit area after the test showed that there were,on average,187.4 grains/m^(2)of the five sampling points with a standard deviation of 22.77,and a coefficient of variation of 12.15%which was far smaller than that of artificial broadcasting.The average yield of field broadcasted by UAV is 7705.5 kg/hm^(2)in 2014,implying that rice air broadcasting by UAV is feasible. | Li Jiyu Lan Yubin Zhou Zhiyan Zeng Shan Huang Cong Yao Weixiang Zhang Yang Zhu Qiuyang | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5: | 10 |
| 5 | Automatic extraction of lunar impact craters from Chang'E-1 satellite photographs显示文摘The distribution characteristics of the impact craters can provide a large amount of information on impact history and the lunar evolution process. In this research, based on the digital elevation model (DEM) data originating from Change'E-1 CCD stereo camera, three automatic extraction methods for the impact craters are implemented in two research areas: direct extraction from flooded DEM data (the Flooded method), object-oriented extraction from DEM data by using ENVI ZOOM function (the Object-Oriented method) and novel object-oriented extraction from flooded DEM data (the Flooded Object-Oriented method). Accuracy assessment, extracted degree computation, cumulative frequency analysis, shape and age analysis of the extracted craters combined display the following results. (1) The Flooded Object-Oriented method yields better accuracy than the other two methods in the two research areas; the extraction result of the Flooded method offers the similar accuracy to that of the Object-Oriented method. (2) The cumulative frequency curves for the extracted craters and the confirmed craters share a similar change trajectory. | 7 | Concentration level and distribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil and grass around Mt. Qomolangma, China显示文摘High mountains may serve as a condenser for persistent organic pollutants. In the present study, soil and grass samples from Mt. Qomolangma region, China were collected from 4600 to 5620 m a.s.l and were analyzed for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) to determine if they are concentrated at colder, more elevated sites and to evaluate their possible resources and fractionation. The total PAHs concentration in soil samples was < 600 ng g?1, the critical value to differentiate PAHs levels in remote and urban regions. This implied the PAHs levels at Mt. Qomolangma are relatively low and what one might expect in such a remote region of the world. These low values may represent a soil background for mid-latitude Northern Hemisphere soils away from the direct influence of an anthropogenic source. As for the distribution pattern, the low molecular weight PAHs were prone to accumulate at higher altitude, while the high molecular weight PAHs inversely related or unrelated with elevation. Based on high concentration of phenanthrene at elevated sample site and the ratios of individual PAHs, we deduced that home-heating combustion and vehicle emission may result in the constitution trait of PAHs in this mountain region. Monsoon traveling over India, Pakistan and other countries with dense population may carry contaminant to Mt. Theexpression of E-selectin in tumors accompanied withemboli or satellite foci was significantly higher than thatin tumors without emboli or satellite foci (P<0.05),and it was not related to tumor size, tumor capsule,AFP content, and the degree of differentiation. Thepositive expression of sLeX in SMMU-7721, PLF/PRF/5 and HepGⅡ cell lines was 7.03%, 63.35% and97.29% respectively. The positive cells of sLeX mainlydistributed in the margin of tumor tissues. | 12 | SPARC expression and prognostic value in non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Secreted protein,acidic and rich in cysteine(SPARC) is expressed in numerous types of tumors and is suggested to have prognostic value.Moreover,because of its strong affinity for albumin,and hence albumin-bound drugs,SPARC has increasingly become a focus for research.In this study,we aimed to determine SPARC expression in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and investigate the association of SPARC with disease prognosis.Tissue microarrays were constructed with specimens from 105 patients with NSCLC treated at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center,and immunohistochemical analysis was performed on these tissue microarrays to assess SPARC expression.Our results showed that SPARC expression status did not significantly relate with age,gender,and tumor stage.However,SPARC was expressed more frequently in squamous cell carcinoma than in adenocarcinoma(75% vs.43.5%,P = 0.004).Patients with smoking history had higher SPARC expression than non-smokers(68.2% vs.33.3%,P = 0.002).In both univariate and multivariate analyses,SPARC was a prognostic factor of overall survival(HR = 0.32;95% CI:0.16-0.65) but not disease-free survival.Our study indicates that SPARC expression is higher in squamous cell carcinoma than in adenocarcinoma in NSCLC.Most notably,SPARC can be used as a prognostic factor for NSCLC. | Yan Huang Jing Zhang Yuan-Yuan Zhao Wei Jiang Cong Xue Fei Xu Hong-Yun Zhao Yang Zhang Li-Ping Zhao Zhi-Huang Hu Zhi-Wen Yao Qian-Yong Liu Li Zhang | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Cancer2012,31,11: | 6 |

| 15 | Experimental Study on Measurement and Calculation of Heat Flux in Supersonic Combustor of Scramjet显示文摘An experimental measurement and calculation method which consist of thermal response model, convergence criteria and control algorithms, is proposed in this paper for the determination of heat flux in a scramjet combustor. Numerical simulations are done to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method, and experiments are made in the direct-connect hydrocarbon fueled scramjet combustor of Mach-6 flight for different equivalence ratios. The distribution of heat flux along the axial and circumferential directions can be obtained using the proposed method. The distribution of heat flux is uneven which is caused by the aerodynamic heating, combustion heat release and changes of section area, and the peak heat flux can be more than 2MW/m2 during the experiments. Heat flux increases with the increase in equivalence ratio for the same Mach number. And axial distribution of heat flux is uniform for different equivalence ratios. | 16 | CPPU may induce gibberellin-independent parthenocarpy associated with PbRR9 in‘Dangshansu’pear显示文摘Parthenocarpy is a valuable trait in self-incompatible plants,such as pear.N-(2-chloro-4-pyridyl)-N’-phenylurea(CPPU),a synthetic cytokinin analog,can induce parthenocarpy in pear(Pyrus spp.),but the mechanism of induction is unclear.To investigate the role of gibberellin in CPPU-induced parthenocarpy in pear,CPPU supplemented with paclobutrazol(PAC)was sprayed onto‘Dangshansu’pear.We found that the fruit set rate of pear treated with CPPU supplemented with PAC was identical to that in a CPPU-alone treatment group.In regard to cell development,CPPU mainly promoted hypanthium cell division and expansion,and PAC application had no influence on CPPU-induced cell development.RNA sequencing revealed that gibberellin 20 oxidase and gibberellin 3 oxidase genes were not differentially expressed following CPPU treatment.According to the analysis of fruit phytohormone content,the CPPU treatments did not induce gibberellin biosynthesis.These results suggest that CPPU-induced parthenocarpy may be gibberellin independent in‘Dangshansu’pear.After CPPU treatment,the indole acetic acid(IAA)content in fruit was significantly increased,and the abscisic acid(ABA)content was significantly decreased.Similarly,RNA sequencing revealed that many genes involved in the auxin and ABA pathways were significantly differentially expressed in the CPPU treatment groups;among them,indole-3-pyruvate monooxygenase(YUCCA)was significantly upregulated and 9-cis-epoxycarotenoid dioxygenase(NCED)was significantly downregulated.IAA and ABA may thus play important roles in CPPU-induced parthenocarpy.PbTwo-component response regulator9(PbRR9),PbYUCCA4,and PbNCED6 were then selected to further elucidate the mechanism of CPPU-induced parthenocarpy.A yeast one-hybrid assay indicated that PbRR9 can combine with the PbYUCCA4 and PbNCED6 promoters.Dual luciferase assays revealed that PbRR9 can promote and repress the activities of the PbYUCCA4 and PbNCED6 promoters,respectively.After the transient expression of PbRR9 in fruits,PbYUCCA4 expression was significantly upregulated,and PbNCED6 expression was significantly downregulated.This study uncovered a CPPU-induced parthenocarpy mechanism that is different from that in tomato.CPPU may upregulate PbYUCCA4 and downregulate PbNCED6 by upregulating PbRR9,thereby increasing IAA content and decreasing ABA content to ultimately induce parthenocarpy in‘Dangshansu’pear.However,because only a single time point was used and because‘botanical’and‘accessory’fruits have different structures,this conclusion is still preliminary. | Liu Cong Ting Wu Hanting Liu Huibin Wang Haiqi Zhang Guangping Zhao Yao Wen Qianrong Shi Lingfei Xu Zhigang Wang | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 4 |

As we know, the packets which are transmitted with large delay become useless and have to be dropped. In order to minimize packet dropping probability, we consider multiple transmission methods and integrate packet scheduling with adaptive network coding method selection. Firstly we introduce queue length to obtain the gain of network. Based on this, we present the dynamic coding-aware routing metric, which can increase potential coding opportunities. Moreover, we propose a distributed packet-aware transmission routing scheme based on the above routing metric, which can discover the available paths timely and efficiently.
