| 4 | Preliminary observation results of the Coherent Beacon Systemonboard the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite-1显示文摘This paper reports, for the first time, observation results of the Coherent Beacon System(CBS) onboard the China SeismoElectromagnetic Satellite-1(CSES-1). We describe the CBS, and the Computerized Ionospheric Tomography(CIT) algorithm program is validated by numerical experiment. Two examples are shown, for daytime and nighttime respectively. The Equatorial Ionization Anomaly(EIA) can be seen, and the northern crest core is located at ~20°N in the reconstruction image at 07:28 UTC on 20 July 2018(daytime).Disturbances are shown in the reconstruction image at 18:40 UTC on 13 July 2018(nighttime). We find that beacon measurements are more consistent with ionosonde measurements than model results, by comparing Nm F2 at three sites at Lanzhou, Chongqing, and Kunming; consistency with ionosonde measurements validates beacon measurements. Finally, we have studied Vertical Total Electron Content(VTEC) variations from ground to ~500 km(the height of CSES-1 orbit) and ratios of VTEC between beacon measurements and CODE(Center for Orbit Determination in Europe) data. VTEC variation from ground to ~500 km has a range of 7.2–16.5 TECU for the daytime case and a range of 1.1–1.7 TECU for the nighttime case. The Beacon/CODE ratio of VTEC varies with latitude and time. The mean Beacon/CODE ratio is 0.69 for the daytime case and 0.26 for the nighttime case. | 11 | Identification of liver metastasis-associated genes in human colon carcinoma by mRNA profiling显示文摘Objective: Liver metastasis,which contributes substantially to high mortality,is the most common recurrent mode of colon carcinoma.Thus,it is necessary to identify genes implicated in metastatic colonization of the liver in colon carcinoma.Methods: We compared mRNA profiling in 18 normal colon mucosa(N),20 primary tumors(T) and 19 liver metastases(M) samples from the dataset GSE49355 and GSE62321 of Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO) database.Gene ontology(GO) and pathways of the identified genes were analyzed.Co-expression network and proteinprotein interaction(PPI) network were employed to identify the interaction relationship.Survival analyses based on The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA) database were used to further screening.Then,the candidate genes were validated by our data.Results: We identified 22 specific genes related to liver metastasis and they were strongly associated with cell migration,adhesion,proliferation and immune response.Simultaneously,the results showed that C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 14(CXCL14) might be a favorable prediction factor for survival of patients with colon carcinoma.Importantly,our validated data further suggested that lower CXCL14 represented poorer outcome and contributed to metastasis.Gene set enrichment analysis(GSEA) showed that CXCL14 was negatively related to the regulation of stem cell proliferation and epithelial to mesenchymal transition(EMT).Conclusions: CXCL14 was identified as a crucial anti-metastasis regulator of colon carcinoma for the first time,and might provide novel therapeutic strategies for colon carcinoma patients to improve prognosis and prevent metastasis. | Jianling Liu Dan Wang Chaoqi Zhang Zhen Zhang Xinfeng Chen Jingyao Lian Jinbo Liu Guixian Wang Weitang Yuan Zhenqiang Sun Weijia Wang Mengjia Song Yaping Wang Qian Wu Ling Cao Dong Wang Yi Zhang | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,6: | 1 |

| 19 | A model for aircraft cabin evacuation considering passenger type显示文摘Pedestrian safety evacuation in aircraft cabins has been a challenging problem because of the aircraft’s unique characteristics,such as the diversity of passengers and the restricted evacuation environment.It is difficult to reproduce evacuation activities in aircraft cabin due to safety concerns and cost constraints.To fill this gap,an improved cellular automaton model of crowd evacuation for aircraft cabin is established by incorporating the characteristics of cabin space structures and passenger attributes.Passengers are divided into healthy individual passengers and disabled-healthy group passengers,whose movement mechanisms are quantified.Based on the constructed model,simulation experiments are conducted using the configuration cabin layout of B737-800 as an example.The results show that the evacuation time is prolonged with increased passenger density and the number of disabled passengers.Moreover,the overall evacuation time is insignificantly affected by whether disabled-healthy group passengers’seats are close to the aisle or window,and the evacuation efficiency is best when their seats are evenly distributed in the cabin.The evacuation time is the shortest when all cabin doors are open,and pedestrians are evacuated the slowest when the central emergency doors are closed.This study pro-vides valuable insights into effective strategies for pedestrian evacuation and crowd emergency management of civil aircraft. | Yaping Ma Jinfeng Yuan Lingling Tan Quanyi Liu Mengling Li | 2024 | Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2024,5,1: | 0 |
