| 1 | Degradation of organic pollutants by visible light synergistic electro-Fenton oxidation process显示文摘Visible light irradiation combined with homogeneous iron and/or hydrogen peroxide to degrade organic dye rhodamine B (RhB) and small molecular compound 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) in a home-made bottle reactor was assessed. The concen-tration of oxidize species, Fe3+ and Fe2+ were determined during the degradation process. The results demonstrated that visible light irradiation combined with electro-Fenton improved the degradation efficiency. Moreover, both RhB and 2,4-DCP were mineralized during visible light synergistic electro-Fenton oxidation process. 95.0% TOC (total organic carbon) removal rate of RhB occurred after 90 min and 96.7% of COD (chemical oxygen demand) removal rate after 65 min of irradiation. 91.3% TOC removal rate of 2,4-DCP occurred after 16 h of irradiation and 99.9% COD removal rate occurred after 12 h of illumination. The degradation and oxidation process was dominated by the hydroxyl radical ( · OH) generated in the system. | 2 | Homotypic clustering of L1 and B1/Alu repeats compartmentalizes the 3D genome显示文摘Organization of the genome into euchromatin and heterochromatin appears to be evolutionarily conserved and relatively stable during lineage differentiation.In an effort to unravel the basic principle underlying genome folding,here we focus on the genome itself and report a fundamental role for L1(LINE1 or LINE-1)and B1/Alu retrotransposons,the most abundant subclasses of repetitive sequences,in chromatin compartmentalization.We find that homotypic clustering of L1 and B1/Alu demarcates the genome into grossly exclusive domains,and characterizes and predicts Hi-C compartments.Spatial segregation of L1-rich sequences in the nuclear and nucleolar peripheries and B1/Alu-rich sequences in the nuclear interior is conserved in mouse and human cells and occurs dynamically during the cell cycle.In addition,de novo establishment of L1 and B1 nuclear segregation is coincident with the formation of higher-order chromatin structures during early embryogenesis and appears to be critically regulated by L1 and B1 transcripts.Importantly,depletion of L1 transcripts in embryonic stem cells drastically weakens homotypic repeat contacts and compartmental strength,and disrupts the nuclear segregation of L1-or B1-rich chromosomal sequences at genome-wide and individual sites.Mechanistically,nuclear co-localization and liquid droplet formation of L1 repeat DNA and RNA with heterochromatin protein HP1αsuggest a phase-separation mechanism by which L1 promotes heterochromatin compartmentalization.Taken together,we propose a genetically encoded model in which L1 and B1/Alu repeats blueprint chromatin macrostructure.Our model explains the robustness of genome folding into a common conserved core,on which dynamic gene regulation is overlaid across cells. | J.Yuyang Lu Lei Chang Tong Li Ting Wang Yafei Yin Ge Zhan Xue Han Ke Zhang Yibing Tao Michelle Percharde Liang Wang Qi Peng Pixi Yan Hui Zhang Xianju Bi Wen Shao Yantao Hong Zhongyang Wu Runze Ma Peizhe Wang Wenzhi Li Jing Zhang Zai Chang Yingping Hou Bing Zhu Miguel Ramalho-Santos Pilong Li Wei Xie Jie Na Yujie Sun Xiaohua Shen | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,6: | 1 |

| 5 | Alkyl side chain engineering enables high performance as-cast organic solar cells of over 17%efficiency显示文摘Achieving high-performance as-cast OSCs is crucial for industrialization in the future,owing to the advantages of better stability,environmental-friendly,and decreasing production cost.In this regard,we synthesized an ADA′D-A type acceptor,Y6-eC6-BO,by shortening the straight alkyl side-chains on the thiophene position from C_(11) to C_(6) as well as lengthening the branched alkyl side-chains on the pyrrole position of Y6 to achieve a stronger crystallization and better miscibility than Y6.As a result,the corresponding chloroform-processed as-cast PM6:Y6-eC6-BO OSC showed a high PCE of 17.33%,which was one of the highest efficiencies of as-cast OSCs.And the as-cast PM6:Y6-eC6-BO OSCs processed from o-xylene displayed a PCE of 16.38%,as far as we know,this is among the highest efficiencies of non-halogenated-solvent processed as-cast OSCs.These results demonstrated tailoring the alkyl side-chain of NFAs is a feasible and simple approach to achieve high performance as-cast OSCs and provides guideline in molecular design in the future. | Xiang Xu Yazhou Qi Xiaoyan Luo Xinxin Xia Xinhui Lu Jun Yuan Yonghua Zhou Yingping Zou | 2023 | Fundamental Research2023,3,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Degradation of 2, 4-D Acid Using Mn~(2+) as Catalyst under UV Irradiation显示文摘In this paper, the oxidative degradation of 2, 4-dichlor- ophenoxyacetic acid (2, 4-D) using Mn2+/H2O2 reagent under UV irradiation was studied. The results show that 2, 4-D was degraded more completely in Mn2+/H2O2 solution than traditional Fenton solutions. The effects of the concentration of Mn2+, H2O2 and pH were also investigated. And under the optimal condition ofcMn2 + 1.48×10-4 mol/L,cH 2 O28.99×10-5 mol/L and pH 3.38, the formation of ·OH was the most, both the decomposition rate of H2O2 and the degradation rate of 2, 4-D were the fastest.
