| 1 | Growth ages of ferromanganese crusts from the western and central Pacific:Comparison between nannofossil analysis and ^(10)Be dating显示文摘Based on results of nannofossil analysis and 10Be dating in ferromanganese crusts M1-1 and A1-1 (no nannofossils were found in it),from the western and central Pacific respectively,it is found that the crust growth ages from nannofossil biostrati-graphy agree well with those based on 10Be isotope analysis. Both crusts have three growth layers,and the oldest layer was deposited in Miocene at about 12.80 Ma. | 9 | Dynamic Characteristics Analysis with Multi-Directional Coupling in a TBM Mainframe显示文摘The cutterhead of a full-face rock tunnel boring machine(TBM)is constantly subjected to varying impact and dynamic loads during tunneling processes,resulting in relatively large vibrations that could easily lead to fatigue cracking of the entire machine and a ect the tunneling performance and efficiency.To explore the dynamic characteristics of the TBM mainframe,a TBM from a water-diversion project is investigated in this research.According to the TBM vibration transmission route,an equivalent dynamic model of the TBM mainframe is established using the lumped-mass method in which the relevant dynamic parameters are solved.Additionally,the dynamic response characteristics of the TBM mainframe are analyzed.The results indicate that the vibration levels in three directions are approximately the same,the multi-directional vibration of the cutterhead is more intense than that of other components,and the vibration and external excitation exhibit identical change trends.A set of vibration field tests is performed to analyze the in situ dynamic responses of the mainframe and verify the correctness of the dynamic model.The theoretical and measured acceleration values of the TBM mainframe have the same magnitude,which proves the validity of the dynamic model and its solution.The aforementioned results provide an important theoretical value and practical significance for the design and assessment of the TBM mainframe. | Laikuang Lin Yimin Xia Zhengguang Li Caizhang Wu Yongliang Cheng Qing Tan | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2019,32,6: | 1 |
| 10 | Tubulointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 is a novel matricellular protein that promotes gastric bacterial colonization and gastritis in the setting of Helicobacter pylori infection显示文摘The interaction between the gastric epithelium and immune cells plays key roles in H. pylori-associated pathology. Here, we demonstrate a procolonization and proinflammatory role of tubulointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 (TINAGL1), a newly discovered matricellular protein, in H. pylori infection. Increased TINAGL1 production by gastric epithelial cells (GECs) in the infected gastric mucosa was synergistically induced by H. pylori and IL-1β via the ERK-SP1 pathway in a cagA-dependent manner. Elevated human gastric TINAGL1 correlated with H. pylori colonization and the severity of gastritis, and mouse TINAGL1 derived from non-bone marrow-derived cells promoted bacterial colonization and inflammation. Importantly, H. pylori colonization and inflammation were attenuated in Tinagl1−/− and Tinagl1ΔGEC mice and were increased in mice injected with mouse TINAGL1. Mechanistically, TINAGL1 suppressed CCL21 expression and promoted CCL2 production in GECs by directly binding to integrin α5β1 to inhibit ERK and activate the NF-κB pathway, respectively, which not only led to decreased gastric influx of moDCs via CCL21-CCR7-dependent migration and, as a direct consequence, reduced the bacterial clearance capacity of the H. pylori-specific Th1 response, thereby promoting H. pylori colonization, but also resulted in increased gastric influx of Ly6Chigh monocytes via CCL2-CCR2-dependent migration. In turn, TINAGL1 induced the production of the proinflammatory protein S100A11 by Ly6Chigh monocytes, promoting H. pylori-associated gastritis. | 15 | Inactivated SARS-CoV-2 booster vaccine enhanced immune responses in patients with chronic liver diseases显示文摘Chronic liver disease(CLD)entails elevated risk of COVID-19 severity and mortality.The effectiveness of the booster dose of inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in stimulating antibody response in CLD patients is unclear.Therefore,we conducted a cross-sectional study involving 237 adult CLD patients and 170 healthy controls(HC)to analyze neutralizing antibodies(NAbs)against SARS-CoV-2 prototype and BA.4/5 variant,anti-receptor binding domain(RBD)IgG,and total anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies.Serum levels of the total anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies,anti-RBD IgG and inhibition efficacy of NAbs were significantly elevated in CLD patients after the booster dose compared with the pre-booster dose,but were relatively lower than those of HCs.Induced humoral responses decreased over time after booster vaccination.The neutralization efficiency of the serum against BA.4/5 increased but remained below the inhibition threshold.All four SARS-CoV-2 antibodies,including total anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies,anti-RBD IgG and NAbs against prototype and BA.4/5,were lower in patients with severe CLD than those with non-severe CLD.After booster shot,age and time after the last vaccine were the risk factors for seropositivity of NAb against BA.4/5 in CLD patients.Additionally,white blood cell counts and hepatitis B core antibodies were the protective factors,and severe liver disease was the risk factor associated with seropositivity of total anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies.Overall,our data uncovered that antibody responses were improved in CLD patients and peaked at 120 days after the booster vaccines.All antibodies excepting total anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies declined after peak.CLD patients exhibited impaired immunologic responses to vaccination and weakened NAbs against BA.4/5,which hindered the protective effect of the booster shot against Omicron prevalence.Cellular immune responses should be further evaluated to determine the optimal vaccine regimen for CLD patients. | Yongmei Liu Jianhua Lu Haoting Zhan Wenfang Yuan Xiaomeng Li Haiyan Kang Haolong Li Yongliang Chen Linlin Cheng Xingli Sun Haojie Zheng Wei Wang Erhei Dai Yongzhe Li | 2023 | Virologica Sinica2023,38,5: | 0 |
| 16 | Motor oil degradation during urban cycle road tests显示文摘Several civilian vehicles in China operate in urban traffic conditions and have their motor oil changed every 5,000 km.This study investigates the variations in oil properties after servicing at 5,000 km,based on systematic road tests(including a repeated test,a parallel test,and a new vehicle test).The physicochemical properties,changes in components,oxidation stability,detergent‐dispersant performance,and tribological properties of motor oils were analyzed.The results showed that the total acid number(TAN)of oils increased with the operation mileage,by up to 1.41 mgKOH/g.The total base number(TBN)decreased after the road tests were completed,and the decrease was less than 44.6%.The kinematic viscosity(KV)of most oils decreased initially and then stabilized in the middle stage,before starting to increase later in the experiment.The change in KV at 100℃was less than 15.96%.The oxidation onset temperature(OOT)of the oils diminished gradually with the operation mileage.All OOT values of the used oils were higher than 210℃.A spot test indicated that the used oils retained their detergentdispersant performance to an appropriate extent.The four‐ball wear scar diameters and friction coefficient of the used oils did not increase significantly after the road tests were completed.This study can serve as a reference for end‐users when changing motor oils. | Lei WEI Haitao DUAN Yongliang JIN Dan JIA Bingxue CHENG Jianfang LIU Jian LI | 2021 | Friction2021,9,5: | 0 |
| 17 | Construction of a Microsatellite-enriched Library of Rhododendron simsii Planch.显示文摘In this study,an( AG) n microsatellite-enriched library of Rhododendron simsii Planch. was constructed with FIASCO( fast Isolation by AFLP sequences containing repeats) method. Among 356 positive colonies verified by colony PCR of the( AG) n microsatellite-enriched library,233 colonies were selected for further sequencing. According to the results,202 colonies containing microsatellites were obtained,accounting for 86. 7%. Discarding sequences with miscellaneous peaks,overlapping peaks and weak signals,39 sequences were screened finally for subsequent primer exploitation,including 22 perfect type SSR loci,5 imperfect type SSR loci and 12 compound type SSR loci.
