| 1 | Community structure and elevational diversity patterns of soil Acidobacteria显示文摘Acidobacteria is one of the most dominant and abundant phyla in soil,and was believed to have a wide range of metabolic and genetic functions. Relatively little is known about its community structure and elevational diversity patterns. We selected four elevation gradients from 1000 to 2800 m with typical vegetation types of the northern slope of Shennongjia Mountain in central China. The vegetation types were evergreen broadleaved forest,deciduous broadleaved forest,coniferous forest and sub-alpine shrubs. We analyzed the soil acidobacterial community composition,elevational patterns and the relationship between Acidobacteria subdivisions and soil enzyme activities by using the 16 S rRNA meta-sequencing technique and multivariate statistical analysis. The result found that 19 known subdivisions as well as an unclassified phylotype were presented in these forest sites,and Subdivision 6 has the highest number of detectable operational taxonomic units(OTUs). A significant single peak distribution pattern(P < 0.05) between the OTU number and the elevation was observed. The Jaccard and Bray–Curtis index analysis showed that the soil Acidobacteria compositional similarity significantly decreased(P < 0.01) with the increase in elevation distance. Mantel test analysis showed the most of the soil Acidobacteria subdivisions had the significant relationship(P < 0.01) with different soil enzymes. Therefore,soil Acidobacteria may be involved in different ecosystem functions in global elemental cycles. | 2 | Variable rate fertilization system with adjustable active feed-roll length显示文摘This paper presented a novel variable rate fertilization system based on the method of adjusting the active feed-roll length of a fluted roller.The feasibility of this method was discussed using analysis of the fluted roller model.One seed drill produced by Kuhn Company(France),which could sow and fertilize simultaneously,was used as a test platform to implement the mechanical structure of variable rate fertilization.The design methods for the variable rate fertilization mechanical structure and actuator were introduced in detail.A low-cost and stable embedded support decision subsystem and corresponding software were developed.The support decision subsystem is based on grid management.Each grid field cell contains information about corresponding spatial position and fertilizer application rate.A SpatiaLite database was employed to solve the spatial location search and spatial data query.Experiments were conducted to evaluate the fertilization uniformity and dynamic response time.The average value of coefficient of variation is 8.4%in five different active feed-roll lengths which reflects good uniformity.The dynamic response times for the adjustment of variable rate fertilization system from 204 kg/hm^(2) to 319 kg/hm^(2) and 319 kg/hm^(2) to 204 kg/hm^(2) are about 4.2 s.The results suggest that the variable rate fertilization system performs well in dynamic adjustment and stability. | Su Ning Xu Taosheng Song Liangtu Wang Rujing Wei Yuanyuan | 2015 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,4: | 12 |

| 7 | The desumoylating enzyme sentrin-specific protease 3 contributes to myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury显示文摘Sentrin-specific protease 3(SENP3), a member of the desumoylating enzyme family, is known as a redox sensor and could regulate multiple cellular signaling pathways. However, its implication in myocardial ischemia reperfusion(MIR) injury is unclear. Here, we observed that SENP3 was expressed and upregulated in the mouse heart depending on reactive oxygen species(ROS) production in response to MIR injury. By utilizing si RNA-mediated cardiac specific gene silencing, SENP3 knockdown was demonstrated to significantly reduce MIR-induced infarct size and improve cardiac function. Mechanistic studies indicated that SENP3 silencing ameliorated myocardial apoptosis mainly via suppression of endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress and mitochondrial-mediated apoptosis pathways. By contrast, adenovirusmediated cardiac SENP3 overexpression significantly exaggerated MIR injury. Further molecular analysis revealed that SENP3 promoted mitochondrial translocation of dynamin-related protein 1(Drp1) in reperfused myocardium. In addition, mitochondrial division inhibitor-1(Mdivi-1), a pharmacological inhibitor of Drp1, significantly attenuated the exaggerated mitochondrial abnormality and cardiac injury by SENP3 overexpression after MIR injury. | 9 | Microstructure evolution of an Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr magnesium alloy during recrystallization and partial remelting process显示文摘To obtain a spheroidal microstructure of a semi-solid Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr alloy,which is favorable for the subsequent thixocasting process,the recrystallization and partial remelting(RAP)method was used in this study,and the microstructure evolution of the alloy and the mechanism of the shape factor change during the RAP process were invesigated.The as-cast Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr alloy was prepared in a metal mold and then extruded into bars with an extrusion ratio of 16:1.Partial remelting was carried out on the extruded samples at 589℃(at a heating rate of 0.5℃·s-1)for different holding times ranging from 0 to 90 min.To examine the effect of heating rate,partial remelting of samples at the heating rate of 2℃·s-1was also performed.Results show that the extruded microstructure rapidly evolutes into recrystallized grains in the semi-solid state;the liquid f ilm initially forms at grain boundaries during the partial remelting,and then gradually changes from continuous into discontinuous state with the increase of holding time;this results in the agglomeration of adjacent grains and the decrease in shape factor.The value of shape factor increases continuously with holding time at f irst and reaches the maximum 0.62 when holding for 60 min,while decreases rapidly after a prolonged holding time.Moreover,local melting,mainly due to the inhomogeneous deformation during extrusion,becomes more signif icant and less uniformly distributed at a relatively higher reheating rate.The Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr magnesium alloy components have been thixo-cast successfully using the RAP method,which strongly proves the feasibility of RAP process in Mg-Zn-Nd-Zr alloy. | Tao Jianquan Wan Yuanyuan Sun Changjian Su Zhiquan Deng Tianquan Huang Jing | 2013 | China Foundry2013,10,4: | 4 |

| 12 | Separation process of butanol-butyl acetate-methyl isobutyl ketone system by the analysis to residual curve and the double effect pressure-swing distillation显示文摘The separation of ternary mixture of butanol, butyl acetate, and methyl isobutyl ketone(MIBK) was initially analyzed by the residual curve. In this process, MIBK was chosen as the azeotropic agent during the first step of separation. The optimum mass ratio of extra MIBK was 1.6 in the modified feed stream according to the residual curve. Thus on this condition the top product was butanol-MIBK azeotrope while the bottom product was butyl acetate in the preliminary separation of the mixture. Then the butanol and MIBK azeotrope was separated by the double effect pressureswing distillation with the low pressure column performing at 30 kPa and the atmospheric pressure column at 101 kPa. The optimal operating conditions were then obtained by using Aspen Plus to simulate and optimize the process. The results showed that the mass purities of butanol, butyl acetate, and MIBK were all more than 99% and reached the design requirements. | 13 | Identification of Nonstructural Protein 8 as the N-Terminus of the RNA-Dependent RNA Polymerase of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus显示文摘Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is a member within the family Arteriviridae of the order Nidovirales. Replication of this positive-stranded RNA virus within the host cell involves expression of viral replicase proteins encoded by two ORFs, namely ORF1 a and ORF1 b. In particular, translation of ORF1 b depends on a-1-ribosomal frameshift strategy. Thus, nonstructural protein 9 (nsp9), the first protein within ORF1 b that specifies the function of the viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, is expressed as the C-terminal extension of nsp8, a small nsp that is encoded by ORF1 a. However, it has remained unclear whether the mature form of nsp9 in virus-infected cells still retains nsp8,addressing which is clearly critical to understand the biological function of nsp9. By taking advantage of specific antibodies to both nsp8 and nsp9, we report the following findings. (1) In infected cells, PRRSV nsp9 was identified as a major product with a size between 72 and 95 k Da (72–95 KDa form), which exhibited the similar mobility on the gel to the in vitro expressed nsp8–9 ORF1 b, but not the ORF1 b-coded portion (nsp9 ORF1 b). (2) The antibodies to nsp8, but not to nsp7 or nsp10, could detect a major product that had the similar mobility to the 72–95 KDa form of nsp9. Moreover, nsp9 could be co-immunoprecipitated by antibodies to nsp8, and vice versa. (3) Neither nsp4 nor nsp2 PLP2 was able to cleave nsp8–nsp9 in vitro. In this paper, the sub-synchronousoscillation phenomenon of the power grid connected with largescalewind power generation is analyzed in detail. Then, inorder to damp the sub-synchronous oscillation, a coordinateddamping optimization control strategy for wind power generatorsand their reactive power compensators is proposed. The proposedcoordinated control strategy tracks the sub-synchronousoscillation current signal to correct the corresponding controlsignal, which increases the damping of power electronics. | 19 | Highly fluorescent,photostable,and biocompatible silicon theranostic nanoprobes against Staphylococcus aureus infections显示文摘Human health is severely threatened by bacterial infections,which fuel urgent demand for the development of novel theranostic agents that are suitable for diagnosing and combating bacterial infections.To meet this goal,we synthesized a new kind of theranostic probes,made of vancomycin (Van)-modified fluorescent silicon nanoparticles (SiNPs-Van).The new probes feature good selectivity for Gram-positive bacterial infections,favorable fluorescence,strong resistance to photobleaching (e.g.,12%loss of fluorescence intensity during 40min continuous laser excitation in the presence of Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus)),and good biocompatibility (e.g.,cell viability >95%during 24h treatment).Because of these benefits,the probes were effective at prolonged (i.e.,8-day)fluorescence tracking of S.aureus infections in vivo,thus providing a visible and accurate way to evaluate treatment efficacy.Moreover,the resultant SiNPs-Van with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC)of ca.0.5μg/mL exhibited high antibacterial efficiency of 92.5%,superior to that (76.5%)of free Van with higher MIC of ca.1μg/mL. | Xia Zhai Bin Song Binbin Chu Yuanyuan Su Houyu Wang Yao He | 2018 | Nano Research2018,11,12: | 2 |
