| 1 | Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. | 2 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 3 | Finite element simulation of wireless structural vibration control with photostrictive actuators显示文摘A recently emerging family of smart materials,photostrictive materials,exhibit large photostriction under uniform illumination of high-energy light.This photostriction mechanism arises from a superposition phenomenon of photovoltaic and converse piezoelectric effects.A photostrictive type of opto-electromechanical actuator activated by high-energy lights can introduce actuation and control effects without hard-wired connections.The control light intensity applied to the actuator is proportional to the transverse velocity at a positioned point,which is measured by a laser vibrometer.In this paper,photostrictive films are numerically analyzed to evaluate their use as wireless actuators for future remote vibration control of flexible structures.A novel opto-electromechanical solid shell finite element formulation is developed for accurate analysis of the multiple physics effects of photovoltaic,pyroelectric and thermal expansion of photostrictive materials.Available experimental data and analytical solutions have been used to verify the present finite element results.The simulation in this study demonstrates that the present formulation is very reliable,accurate and also computationally efficient and that the use of photostrictive actuators can provide good controllability of structural vibration. | ZHENG ShiJie | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,3: | 9 |
| 4 | A flexible metallic TiC nanofiber/vertical graphene 1D/2D heterostructured as active electrocatalyst for advanced Li–S batteries显示文摘The realistic application of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries has been severely hindered by the sluggish conversion kinetics of polysulfides(LiPS)and inhomogeneous deposition of Li_(2)S at high sulfur loading and low electrolyte/sulfur ratio(E/S).Herein,a flexible Li-S battery architecture based on electrocatalyzed cathodes made of interfacial engineered TiC nanofibers and in situ grown vertical graphene are developed.Integrated 1D/2D heterostructured electrocatalysts are realized to enable highly improved Li^(+)and electron transportation together with significantly enhanced affinity to LiPS,which effectively accelerate the conversion kinetics between sulfur species,and thus induce homogeneous deposition of Li_(2)S in the catalyzed cathodes.Consequently,highly active electro-electrocatalystsbased cells exhibit remarkable rate capability at 2C with a high specific capacity of 971 mAh g^(-1).Even at ultra-high sulfur loading and low E/S ratio,the battery still delivers a high areal capacity of 9.1 mAh cm^(-2),with a flexible pouch cell being demonstrated to power a LED array at different bending angles with a high capacity over 100 cycles.This work puts forward a novel pathway for the rational design of effective nanofiber electrocatalysts for cathodes of high-performance Li-S batteries. | Yongshang Zhang Peng Zhang Shijie Zhang Zheng Wang Neng Li SRavi PSilva Guosheng Shao | 2021 | InfoMat2021,3,7: | 5 |

| 6 | Independent modal variable structure fuzzy active vibration control of thin plates laminated with photostrictive actuators显示文摘Photostrictive actuators can produce photodeformation strains under illumination of ultraviolet lights. They can realize non-contact micro-actuation and vibration control for elastic plate structures. Considering the switching actuation and nonlinear dynamic characteristics of photostrictive actuators, a variable structure fuzzy active control scheme is presented to control the light intensity applied to the actuators. Firstly, independent modal vibration control equations of photoelectric laminated plates are established based on modal analysis techniques. Then, the optimal light switching function is derived to increase the range of sliding modal area, and the light intensity self-adjusting fuzzy active controller is designed. Meanwhile, a continuous function is applied to replace a sign function to reduce the variable structure control (VSC) chattering. | 7 | Epithelial-mesenchymal transition status of circulating tumor cells in breast cancer and its clinical relevance显示文摘Objective:Circulating tumor cells(CTCs)play a critical role in cancer metastasis,but their prevalence and significance remain unclear.This study attempted to track the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)status of CTCs in breast cancer patients and investigate their clinical relevance.Methods:In this study,the established negFACS-IF:E/M platform was applied to isolate rare CTCs and characterize their EMT status in breast cancer.A total of 89 breast cancer patients were recruited,including stage 0–III(n=60)and late stage(n=29)cases.Results:Using the negFACS-IF:E/M platform,it was found that in human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)+patients,mesenchymal CTCs usually exhibited a high percentage of HER2+cells.Stage IV breast cancer patients had considerably more CTCs than stage 0–III patients.Among stage 0–III breast cancers,the HER2 subtype included a significantly higher percentage of mesenchymal and biphenotypic(epithelial and mesenchymal)CTCs than the luminal A or B subtypes.Among stage IV patients,CTCs were predominantly epithelial in cases with local recurrence and were more mesenchymal in cases with distant metastasis.By applying a support vector machine(SVM)algorithm,the EMT status of CTCs could distinguish between breast cancer cases with metastasis/local recurrence and those without recurrence.Conclusions:The negFACS-IF:E/M platform provides a flexible and generally acceptable method for the highly sensitive and specific detection of CTCs and their EMT traits in breast cancer.This study demonstrated that the EMT status of CTCs had high clinical relevance in breast cancer,especially in predicting the distant metastasis or local recurrence of breast cancer. | Jiaojiao Zhou Xuan Zhu Shijie Wu Jingxin Guo Kun Zhang Chunjing Xu Huihui Chen Yuxi Jin Yuting Sun Shu Zheng Yiding Chen | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1: | 3 |

Moreover, an optimal fuzzy active control algorithm is also proposed on the basis of the combination of optimal control and fuzzy one.This method opens a new avenue to resolve the contradiction between the linear system control method and nonlinear actuating characteristics of photostrictive actuators. The desired control for suppressing multi-modal vibration of photoelectric laminated beam is firstly obtained through optimal control and then the fuzzy control is used to approach the desired mechanical strain induced by photostrictive actuators. | 11 | The influences of SE infection on layers' production performance,egg quality and blood biochemical indicators显示文摘Background:Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis(SE),as a major cause of foodbom illness,infects humans mainly through the egg.However,the symptom of laying hens usually is not typical and hard to diagnosis.In the present study,it is studied that the influences of SE infection on layers’ performance,egg quality and blood biochemical indicators.It will help us to improve the strategy to control SE infection in commercial layers.One hundred layers at 20 wk of age were divided into 2 groups,60 hens for experiment and others for control.The experiment group was fed with the dosage of 10~8 CFU SE per hen.The specific PCR was used to detect the deposition of SE.On the 8 d after SE infection,10 hens from the control group and 30 hens from the experimenta group were slaughtered to detect the SE colonization.The production performance,egg quality and blood biochemical indices were also analyzed.Results:The results showed that the colonization rate of SE was highest in caecum contents(55.17%) and lowest in vagina(17.24%).For the eggs the detection rate of SE was highest on the eggshell(80.00%) and lowest in yolk(18.81%).SE infection had no significant influence on production performance and egg qualities(P > 0.05).The difference of laying rate between the experimental and control groups was less than 0.30%,and both were approximately equal to 82.00%.The blood analysis showed that the aspartic aminotransferase(AST) and alanine aminotransferase(ALT) of experimental group was significantly higher than those of control group(P < 0.05).For experimental and control groups AST values were 236.22 U/l and 211.84 U/l respectively,and ALT values were32.19 U/l and 24.55 U/l.All of coefficients were less than 20%.The colonization of SE in organs increases the enzyme activities of AST and ALT in blood.Conclusions:SE in feed could invade the oviduct and infect the forming eggs.It significantly increased the concentration of ALT and AST in blood.However,SE infection was hard to be observed from the appearances of layer and egg.It might be a dangerous risk to human health. | Shijie Fan Jiangxia Zheng Zhongyi Duan Ning Yang Guiyun Xu | 2014 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2014,5,3: | 2 |

| 13 | Effects of ultradry storage on fluidity of plasma membrane of seed显示文摘The effects of ultradry seed storage on the fluidity of plasma membrane have been investigated using the DPH fluorescent probe (1,6-diphenyi-1, 3, 5,-hexatriene). The results demonstrated that the micro-viscosity of plasma membrane of ultradried seeds has no significant changes compared with the seeds which were stored under -20℃ condition. However, there is a little adverse effect on the seeds with extreme dehydration. The results were consistent with higher vigor level of ultradried seed. It indicated that ultradry seed storage could maintain the physiological function of seed, protect the integrity of the membrane and improve the storability of seed. Furthermore, the results also revealed that sugar has the effect on protecting membrane structure and preserving the fluidity of the plasma membrane under seed dehydration. Moreover, effectiveness degree of SA effect is found to be dependent on both absorption coefficient and travelling distance of emitted photons, as well as even lattice temperature, which is uniquely reflected by the redshift amount in emission peak in ZnO. It is also unambiguously proved that the SA effect still strictly obeys the Beer-Lambert law of absorption. | 19 | The effect of soil moisture on the response by fungi and bacteria to nitrogen additions for N_(2)O production显示文摘In addition to bacteria,the contribution of fungi to nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)production has been recognized but the responses of these two broad and unrelated groups of microorganisms to global environmental changes,atmospheric nitrogen(N)deposition,and precipitation in terms of N_(2)O production are unclear.We studied how these two microbial-mediated N_(2)O production pathways responded to soil moisture conditions and to N addition in an N-limited temperate forest.Soils from a long-term N addition experiment in Changbai Mountain,northeastern China were incubated.Varied concentrations of cycloheximide and streptomycin,both inhibitors of fungal and bacterial activity,were used to determine the contributions of both to N_(2)O production in 66%,98%and 130%water-filled pore spaces(WFPS).The results showed that N_(2)O production decreased significantly with increasing cycloheximide concentration whereas streptomycin was only inhibiting N_(2)O emissions at 98%and 130%WFPS.The bacterial pathway of N_(2)O production in N-addition(Nadd)soil was significantly more dominant than that in untreated(Namb)soil.The difference in the fungal pathway of N_(2)O production between the soil with nitrogen addition and the untreated soil was not significant.Net N_(2)O emissions increased with increasing soil moisture,especially at 130%WFPS,a completely flooded condition.Bacteria dominated carbon dioxide(CO_(2))and N_(2)O emissions in Nadd soil and at 130%WFPS regardless of N status,while fungi dominated CO_(2)and N_(2)O emissions in soil without N addition at 66%and 98%WFPS.The results suggest that flooded soil is an important source of N_(2)O emissions and that bacteria might be better adapted to compete in fertile soils under anoxic conditions. | Lei Zhang Junqiang Zheng Xu Han Junhui Zhang Chengxu Li Shicong Geng Shijie Han | 2021 | Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,5: | 1 |
