| 1 | Effects of maize root exudates and organic acids on the desorption of phenanthrene from soils显示文摘The eects of maize root exudates and low-molecular-weight-organic anions (LMWOAs) on the desorption of phenanthrene from eight artificially contaminated soils were evaluated. A significant negative correlation was observed between the amounts of phenanthrene desorbed and the soil organic carbon (SOC) contents (P < 0.01), and the inuences of soil pH and clay content on phenanthrene desorption were insignificant (P > 0.1). Neither maize root exudates nor oxalate and citrate anions inuenced desorption of phenanthrene with the addition of NaN3. A faster phenanthrene desorption occurred without the addition of NaN3 in the presence of maize root exudates than oxalate or citrate due to the enhanced degradation by root exudates. Without the addition of NaN3, oxalate or citrate at dierent concentrations could inhibit phenanthrene desorption to dierent extents and the inhibiting eect by citrate was more significant than by oxalate. | 5 | Autoantigen Microarray for High-throughput Autoantibody Profiling in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus显示文摘Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) is a complex autoimmune disease characterized by the production of autoantibodies to a broad range of self-antigens. Profiling the autoantibody repertoire using array-based technology has emerged as a powerful tool for the identification of biomarkers in SLE and other autoimmune diseases. Proteomic microarray has the capacity to hold large number of self-antigens on a solid surface and serve as a high-throughput screening method for the determination of autoantibody specificities. The autoantigen arrays carrying a wide variety of self-antigens, such as cell nuclear components(nucleic acids and associated proteins), cytoplasmic proteins, phospholipid proteins, cell matrix proteins, mucosal/secreted proteins, glomeruli, and other tissue-specific proteins, have been used for screening of autoantibody specificities associated with different manifestations of SLE. Arrays containing synthetic peptides and molecular modified proteins are also being utilized for identification of autoantibodies targeting to special antigenic epitopes. Different isotypes of autoantibodies, including Ig G, Ig M, Ig A, and Ig E, as well as other Ig subtypes, can be detected simultaneously with multi-color labeled secondary antibodies. | 6 | Orthogonal nonnegative matrix factorization based local hidden Markov model for multimode process monitoring显示文摘Traditional data driven fault detection methods assume that the process operates in a single mode so that they cannot perform well in processes with multiple operating modes. To monitor multimode processes effectively,this paper proposes a novel process monitoring scheme based on orthogonal nonnegative matrix factorization(ONMF) and hidden Markov model(HMM). The new clustering technique ONMF is employed to separate data from different process modes. The multiple HMMs for various operating modes lead to higher modeling accuracy.The proposed approach does not presume the distribution of data in each mode because the process uncertainty and dynamics can be well interpreted through the hidden Markov estimation. The HMM-based monitoring indication named negative log likelihood probability is utilized for fault detection. In order to assess the proposed monitoring strategy, a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman process are used. | 8 | Research on fabric characteristics and borehole instability mechanisms of fractured igneous rocks显示文摘There are favorable exploration prospects in igneous rock reservoirs.However,problems of borehole instability occur frequently during drilling igneous formations,which is a serious impediment to oil and gas exploration and production.The lack of systematic understanding of the inherent instability mechanisms is an important problem.A series of experiments were conducted on several igneous rock samples taken from the sloughing formations in the Tuha area in an attempt to reveal the inherent mechanisms of wellbore instability when drilling in fractured igneous rocks.Research methods involved slurry chemistry,analysis of micro-geological features(Micro-CT imaging,SEM),and rock mechanics testing.The experimental results indicated that clay minerals were widely distributed in the intergranular space of the diagenetic minerals,crystal defects,and microcracks.Drilling fluid filtrate would invade the rock along the microcracks.The invasion amount gradually increased over time,which constantly intensified the hydration and swelling of clay minerals,leading to changes in the microscopic structure of igneous rocks.Primary and secondary microcracks can propagate and merge into single cracks and thus reducing rock cohesion and the binding force along cleavage planes.Based on this result the authors propose that a key towards solving wellbore instability in igneous formations is that specific micro-geological characteristics of the igneous rocks should be taken into consideration in the design of antisloughing drilling muds. | Liu Xiangjun Zhu Honglin Liang Lixi | 2013 | Petroleum Science2013,10,2: | 2 |
| 9 | Designing a dual-functional material with barrier anti-corrosion and photocatalytic antifouling properties using g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheet with ZnO nanoring显示文摘As a semiconductor material with a 2 D-laminate structure, g-C_(3)N_(4)(bandwidth 2.7 e V) has a similar structure and excellent performance to graphene. However, high surface energy and photogenerated e–h recombination of g-C_(3)N_(4)seriously hinder its application in the field of marine anticorrosion and antifouling.To solve these problems, we synthesized the g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets decorated with Zn O nanoring via chemical etching technology. Whether the NR Zn O-CNNs have surface protection performance among the pure EP on the corrosion protection for metal substrate were investigated. The antifouling properties NR Zn OCNNs hybrid were also estimated through photocatalytic bacterial and algae resistance tests. Combined with the electrochemical results, it was found that the impedance modulus of NR Zn O-CNNs/EP within 45 days showed two orders of magnitude higher than that of pure EP in the 3.5 wt% Na Cl solution. Besides, Local electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(LEIS) further explored the anticorrosion behavior of NR Zn O-CNNs/EP coating, which indicated that the NR Zn O-CNNs/EP coating with a scratch maintained an excellent corrosion resistance between 0–24 h. Under the visible light conditions, the lifetime of photogenerated e–h was prolonged due to the formation of NR Zn O-CNNs heterojunction structure, it was observed that the antibacterial rate against Bacillus subtilis reached 100% within 8 h. An Antialgae test was performed on chlorella seawater solution, which indicated that 5 mg/m L of NR Zn O-CNNs hybrid could make chlorella sharply reduce within 4 days. | 10 | Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells for psoriasis:a phase 1/2a,single-arm study显示文摘Psoriasis is a common,chronic immune-mediated systemic disease that had no effective and durable treatment.Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have immunomodulatory properties.Therefore,we performed a phase 1/2a,single-arm clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of human umbilical cord-derived MSCs(UMSCs)in the treatment of psoriasis and to preliminarily explore the possible mechanisms.Seventeen patients with psoriasis were enrolled and received UMsC infusions.Adverse events,laboratory parameters,PASl,and PGA were analyzed.We did not observe obvious side effects during the treatment and 6-month follow-up.A total of 47.1%(8/17)of the psoriasis patients had at least 40%improvement in the PASl score,and 17.6%(3/17)had no sign of disease or minimal disease based on the PGA score.And the efficiency was 25%(2/8)for males and 66.7%(6/9)for females.After UMSC transplantation(UMSCT),the frequencies of Tregs and CD4^(+)memory T cells were significantly increased,and the frequencies of T helper(Th)17 and CD4^(+)naive T cells were significantly decreased in peripheral blood(PB)of psoriasis patients.And all responders showed significant increases in Tregs and CD4^(+)memory T cells,and significant decreases in Th17 cells and serum IL-17 level after UMsCT.And baseline level of Tregs in responders were significantly lower than those in nonresponders.In conclusion,allogeneic UMSCT is safe and partially effective in psoriasis patients,and level of Tregs may be used as a potent biomarker to predict the clinical efficacy of UMSCT.Trial registration Clinical Trials NCT03765957. | Lamei Cheng Siqi Wang Cong Peng Xiao Zou Chao Yang Hua Mei Chuang Li Xian Su Na Xiao Qi Ouyang Mi Zhang Qiaolin Wang Yan Luo Minxue Shen Qun Qin Honglin Wang Wu Zhu Guangxiu Lu Ge Lin Yehong Kuang Xiang Chen | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,9: | 2 |
