| 4 | The impact of investor structure on stock price crash sensitivity:Evidence from China's stock market显示文摘Stock price crash sensitivity refers to the conditional probability of a stock crash when the market collapses.It focuses on individual stocks'sensitivity to the market crash and can affect stock pricing significantly.Although the crash sensitivity of China's stock market is very high as a whole(Weigert,2016),different individual stocks show varying degrees of crash sensitivity.This paper,adopting the perspective of institutional investors,explores the reasons for the difference in crash sensitivity in China's stock market,and finds that:First,institutional investors'shareholdings is positively related to firms'stock price crash sensitivity.However,after dividing institutional investors into professional(represented by financial institutions)and non-professional institutional investors(represented by general legal persons),we find that only professional institutional investors'shareholdings is negatively related to firms'stock price crash sensitivity.Second,the impact of professional institutional investors on the crash sensitivity is influenced by stock liquidity and media sentiment:when the stock liquidity of listed companies is good or the media sentiment is strong,the negative impact of professional institutional investors on the crash sensitivity is accordingly high.This paper,by highlighting the investor structure,attempts a pioneering exploration of the influencing factors of the difference in stock price crash sensitivity in China.Our empirical results enrich research on stock price crash sensitivity and the heterogeneity of institutional investors.They can also serve to guide regulatory authorities'development of institutional investors and efforts to maintain market stability. | Ningning Pan Qiuhua Xu Hongquan Zhu | 2021 | Journal of Management Science and Engineering2021,6,3: | 1 |

| 9 | Recognition and Prediction of Source Rocks of the Madingo Formation in the Lower Congo Basin显示文摘We investigated the petrological and seismic properties of Madingo Formation, the highquality source rocks in the Madingo Formation in the Lower Congo Basin are highly heterogeneous. Due to little drilling and oil-based mud pollution, samples that are able to be used to measure the TOC(total organic carbon) content of source rock in the Madingo Formation are few and unevenly distributed;hence, it is difficult to carry out their quantitative evaluation. We investigated the petrological and seismic properties of Madingo Formation between TOC and well logging parameters including density, natural gamma, and acoustic time difference via multiple regression analysis. The TOC data volume is calculated using a neural network model between the predicted TOC content and seismic attributes of the sidetrack. The results of TOC three-dimensional quantitative prediction in the study area show that the source rocks in the Madingo Formation have a strong heterogeneity in the vertical direction, and the plane distribution is low in the northeast and high in the southwest. SAGE data, characterized by large quantity and high dimensions, need reducing their dimensions and extract feature to improve the accuracy and efficiency when they are used for pattern recognition and clustering analysis. A Poisson Model-based Kernel (PMK) was proposed based on the Poisson distribution of the SAGE data. Kernel Principle Component Analysis (KPCA) with PMK was proposed and used in feature-extract analysis of mouse retinal SAGE data.
