1The Notch signaling pathway in retinal dysplasia and retina vascular homeostasis显示文摘The retina is one of the most essential elements of vision pathway in vertebrate. The dysplasia of retina cause congenital blindness or vision disability in individuals, and the misbalance in adult retinal vascular homeostasis leads to neovascularization-associated diseases in adults, such as diabetic retinopathy or age-related macular degeneration. Many developmental signaling pathways are involved in the process of retinal development and vascular homeostasis. Among them, Notch signaling pathway has long been studied, and Notch signaling-interfered mouse models show both neural retina dysplasia and vascular abnormality. In this review, we discuss the roles of Notch signaling in the maintenance of retinal progenitor cells, specification of retinal neurons and glial cells, and the sustaining of retina vascular homeostasis, especially from the aspects of conditional knockout mouse models. 2Optimization of a synthetic medium for ethanol production by xylose-fermenting Zymomonas mobilis using response surface methodology显示文摘A synthetic medium for ethanol production by recombinant xylose-fermenting Zymomonas mobilis was optimized using Plackett-Burman(PB) design and response surface methodology(RSM).The effects of 19 medium components were investigated by PB design.Eight of these components were determined to have significant effects on ethanol production.The statistical model was constructed via central composite design(CCD) using five selected variables,including xylose,trisodium citrate,choline chloride,pyridoxine,and thiamine.The validity of the developed model was verified.The ethanol concentration in the optimized medium was 6.7% higher than in the RM medium.The optimized medium was then simplified to give the final synthetic medium(S2),in which the ethanol concentration was 20.7% higher than in the RM medium.Xylose and trisodium citrate were the key medium components influencing ethanol production,while calcium pantothenate was the only growth factor required by recombinant Z.mobilis.Ethanol production and growth response were directly proportional to the logarithm of the concentration of trisodium citrate in the range of 0.1-1.6 g/L.DONG HuiNa ZHAO XueMing MA YuanYuan ZHANG MinHua 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,28:3

4Suboptimal distributed Kalman filtering fusion with feedback显示文摘In order to improve the accuracy of fusion algorithm, feedback is introduced into Kalman filtering fusion. Fusion center broadcasts its latest estimated states to the local sensors, which can improve the performance of local tracking error through reducing the covariance of each local error, and only needs calculating the trace of error variance matrices without calculating the inverse of error variance matrices. 9Organic frameworks confined Cu single atoms and nanoclusters for tandem electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction to methane显示文摘The electrochemical reduction reaction of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)RR)is considered to be an effective way to realize carbon neutrality.As a type of intensively studied materials,covalent organic frameworks(COFs)with a tunable pore structure and various functional groups are promising catalysts for CO_(2)RR.Herein,COF synthesized by 2,6‐diaminoanthraquinone and 2,4,6‐triformylphloroglucinol is employed to assist the synthesis of electrocatalysts from Cu single atoms(SAs)to nanoclusters by controlling the electrodeposition.A tandem catalyst for CO_(2)‐to‐CH4 conversion is thus achieved by the Cu nanoclusters dispersed among the isolated Cu SAs in the COF network.It is proposed that CO_(2) is first reduced to CO over the atomically isolated Cu SAs,followed by diffusion onto the neighboring Cu nanoclusters for further reduction into CH4.In addition,mechanistic analysis suggests that the coordinated K^(+)ions on the COF network promote the activation of CO_(2) and the adsorption of reaction intermediates,thus realizing the suppressed hydrogen evolution reaction and selective production of CH4.This study presents a new insight of COFs for the confined synthesis of a tunable SA to nanocluster electrocatalysts,disclosing the great potential of COFs in electrocatalysis.Qinglan Zhao Yian Wang Meng Li Shangqian Zhu Tiehuai Li Jixiang Yang Ting Lin Ernest PDelmo Yinuo Wang Juhee Jang Meng Gu Minhua Shao 2022SmartMat2022,3,1:1

14Two-photon absorption and frequency-upconversion properties of a new organic dye HMASPS显示文摘Two-photon absorption (TPA) and frequency-upconversion properties of a new upconversion laser dye trans-4-[p-(N-hydroxyethyl-N-methyl-amino)styryl]-N-meth-ylpyridinium toluene-p-sulfonate (abbreviated to HMASPS) were reported in this note. The linear absorption, TPA, single-photon induced fluorescence, TPA induced fluorescence and TPA induced upconverted lasing spectra of HMASPS solution in dimethyl formamide (abbreviated to DMF) were measured at room temperature. The red shift for the central wavelength of TPA induced fluorescence peak, which was compared with that of the single-photon induced fluorescence peak, and the blue shift for that of TPA induced up-converted lasing compared with that of TPA induced fluorescence, were explained by using re-absorption effect. TPA peak was at 930 nm. There is an 11 nm blue shift for two-photon energy of TPA peak compared with the linear absorption peak. 17Covalent interfacial coupling of vanadium nitride with nitrogen-rich carbon textile boosting its lithium storage performance as binder-free anode显示文摘Eliminating the usage of metal current collectors and binders in traditional battery electrode configuration is an effective strategy to significantly improve the capacities of lithium ion batteries (LIBs). Herein, we demonstrate the construction of porous vanadium nitride (VN) nanosheet network in situ grown on nitrogen-rich (N-rich) carbon textile (N-C@P-VN) as lightweight and binder-free anode for LIBs. The N-rich carbon textile is used both as the current collector and host to store Li^(+), thus improving the specific capacities of binder-free VN anode and meanwhile reducing the inert mass of the whole cell. Moreover, the open spaces in carbon textile and vertically aligned pores in VN nanosheet network can not only provide an expressway for Li+ and e− transport, but also afford more active sites. As a result, the binder-free N-C@P-VN anode maintains a specific capacity of 1,040 mAh·g^(−1) (or an areal capacity of 2.6 mAh·cm^(−2)) after 100 cycles at 0.1 mA·cm^(−2) in half cell. Moreover, in an assembled N-C@P-VN//LiFePO4 full cell, it exhibits an areal capacity of 1.7 mAh·cm^(−2) after 300 cycles at 0.1 C. 18Change Features of GPS/MET Precipitable Water Vapor in Different Precipitation in Lianyungang显示文摘Based on the GPS/MET water vapor monitoring data and conventional meteorological data at Lianyungang station from April to July,2015,the relationship between precipitable water vapor and real precipitation was studied. According to different precipitation,change trends of precipitable water vapor in convective precipitation and steady precipitation were analyzed. Results showed that necessary condition of precipitation generation was high precipitable water vapor value in the air. Precipitable water vapor change presented wave-shape and phased characters. In convection precipitation,precipitable water vapor changed frequently and had larger change amplitude,while its change was slow in steady precipitation. The appearing time of the maximum values of rainfall intensity and precipitable water vapor was not necessarily consistent,but it was known that severe rainfall usually began at the high-value stage of precipitable water vapor,and high-value stage of precipitable water vapor often corresponded to higher precipitation probability.
