1Contemporary crustal movement of continental China obtained by global positioning system(GPS) measurements显示文摘We obtain a unified horizontal velocity field of continental China and vicinity through measurements at 81 GPS stations provided by the National Key Infrastructure Project, Crustal Movement Observation Network of China. The velocity field delineates patterns of movements and deformation of active crustal blocks in continental China under the Eurasia-fixed reference frame. The space-based geodesy also clearly shows for the first time the horizontal movementand deformation of continental China induced by indentation of the Indian plate. 3Collagen-binding basic fibroblast growth factor improves functional remodeling of scarred endometrium in uterine infertile women: a pilot study显示文摘Intrauterine adhesion(IUA) is a common cause of uterine infertility and one of the most severe clinical features is endometrial fibrosis namely endometrial scarring for which there are few cures currently. Blocked angiogenesis is the main pathological change in the scarred endometrium. The fibroblast growth factor 2(b FGF), a member of FGF family, is usually applied to promote healing of refractory ulcer and contributes to angiogenesis of tissues. In this study, the sustained-release system of b FGF100 μg was administrated around scarred endometrium guiding by ultrasound every 4 weeks in 18 patients(2–4 times). Results showed that after treatment, the menstrual blood volume, endometrial thickness and the scarred endometrial area were improved.Histological study showed blood vessel density increased obviously. Three patients(3/18) achieved pregnancy over 20 gestational weeks. 4V2O5 Nanospheres with Mixed Vanadium Valences as High Electrochemically Active Aqueous Zinc-Ion Battery Cathode显示文摘AV4+-V2O5 cathode with mixed vanadium valences was prepared via a novel synthetic method using VOOH as the precursor,and its zinc-ion storage performance was evaluated.The products are hollow spheres consisting of nanoflakes.The V4+-V2O5 cathode exhibits a prominent cycling performance,with a specific capacity of 140 mAhg-1 after 1000 cycles at 10 A g.1,and an excellent rate capability.The good electrochemical performance is attributed to the presence of V4+,which leads to higher electrochemical activity,lower polarization,faster ion diffusion,and higher electrical conductivity than V2O5 without V4+.This engineering strategy of valence state manipulation may pave the way for designing high-performance cathodes for elucidating advanced battery chemistry.Fei Liu Zixian Chen Guozhao Fang Ziqing Wang Yangsheng Cai Boya Tang Jiang Zhou Shuquan Liang 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2:12
5Simultaneous regulation of cations and anions in an electrolyte for high-capacity, high-stability aqueous zinc–vanadium batteries显示文摘Safe,inexpensive aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)are regarded as promising energy storage devices.However,they still face issues,including dissolution and collapse of the cathode as well as H_(2)evolution and the growth of Zn dendrites on the Zn anode.Herein,we simultaneously regulate the cations and anions in the electrolyte for high-capacity,high-stability aqueous zinc–vanadium(Zn–V)batteries based on a bimetallic cation-doped Na_(0.33)K_(0.1)V_(2)O_(5)·nH_(2)O cathode.We demonstrate that Na^(+) cations suppress cathode dissolution and restrain Zn dendrite growth on the anode via an electrostatic shield effect.We also illustrate that ClO_(4)^(-) anions participate in energy storage at the cathode and are reduced to Cl^(-),generating a protective layer on the Zn anode surface and providing a stable interface to decrease Zn dendrites and H_(2)evolution during long-term cycling.When Na^(+) and ClO_(4)^(-) are introduced into an aqueous ZnSO_(4) electrolyte,a Zn/Zn symmetric cell shows durable and reversible Zn stripping/plating for 1500 h at a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2) and with an area capacity of 1 mAh cm^(-2).Zn/Na_(0.33)K_(0.1)V_(2)O_(5)·nH_(2)O full batteries exhibit a high capacity of 600 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1) and long-term cycling performance for 5000 cycles,with a capacity of 200 mAh g^(-1) at 20 Ag^(-1).Ziqing Wang Miao Zhou Liping Qin Minghui Chen Zixian Chen Shan Guo Liangbing Wang Guozhao Fang Shuquan Liang 2022eScience2022,2,2:8

8Analysis of search-extension method for finding multiple solutions of nonlinear problem显示文摘For numerical computations of multiple solutions of the nonlinear elliptic problemΔu+ f(u)=0 inΩ, u=0 onΓ, a search-extension method (SEM) was proposed and systematically studied by the authors. This paper shall complete its theoretical analysis. It is assumed that the nonlinearity is non-convex and its solution is isolated, under some conditions the corresponding linearized problem has a unique solution. By use of the compactness of the solution family and the contradiction argument, in general conditions, the high order regularity of the solution u∈H1+α,α>0 is proved. 9A Convection-Allowing Ensemble Forecast Based on the Breeding Growth Mode and Associated Optimization of Precipitation Forecast显示文摘A convection-allowing ensemble forecast experiment on a squall line was conducted based on the breeding growth mode(BGM). Meanwhile, the probability matched mean(PMM) and neighborhood ensemble probability(NEP)methods were used to optimize the associated precipitation forecast. The ensemble forecast predicted the precipitation tendency accurately, which was closer to the observation than in the control forecast. For heavy rainfall, the precipitation center produced by the ensemble forecast was also better. The Fractions Skill Score(FSS) results indicated that the ensemble mean was skillful in light rainfall, while the PMM produced better probability distribution of precipitation for heavy rainfall. Preliminary results demonstrated that convection-allowing ensemble forecast could improve precipitation forecast skill through providing valuable probability forecasts. It is necessary to employ new methods, such as the PMM and NEP, to generate precipitation probability forecasts. 10Search-extension method for finding multiple solutions of nonlinear problem显示文摘Based on the eigensystem {λj, φj} of -△, the multiple solutions for nonlinear problem △u + f(u)= 0 in Ω,u = 0 on Ω are approximated. A new search-extension method (SEM) is proposed, which consists of three algorithms in three level subspaces.Numerical experiments for f(u)= u3 in a square and L-shape domain are presented. 11Discrimination of mitochondrial DNA 10400 locus by SNP-operated on/off Switch显示文摘Objective:To apply reformed AS-PCR, which combined phosphorothioate-modified primers with exo+ polymerase, in single nucle- otide polymorphism discrimination of mitochondrial DNA 10400 locus. Methods: We used the mtDNA 10400 locus to design unmodi- fied and 3′phosphorothioate-modified allele-specific primers for PCR, which was performed using polymerases with and without 3′exonuclease activities. The effects of these primers on primer-extension were evaluated by agarose gel electrophoresis. Results: The unmodified primers were extended by both exo- and exo+ polymerase irrespective of whether the primers were matched or mismatched with the templates. However, the 3′phosphorothioate-modified primers with a terminal mismatch triggered an' off- switch'of exo+ polymerase when compared to exo-polymerase. 13Clinical characteristics and survival analysis of colorectal cancer in China:a retrospective cohort study with 13,328 patients from southern China显示文摘Background:Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the most common cancers in China.However,detailed clinical characteristics and survival information are limited.This study aimed to investigate the potential epidemiological and clinical risk factors affecting the survival of CRC patients in southern China.Methods:Patients with primary CRC between 1994 and 2019 at the First and the Sixth Affiliated Hospitals of Sun Yat-sen University(Guangzhou,China)were included.Clinical characteristics and survival outcomes were collected from medical records.The Kaplan–Meier method was used to estimate overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS),and Cox’s proportional-hazards regression model was used to estimate hazard ratios and 95%confidence intervals.Results:Of all 13,328 patients,60.1%were men;the mean age was 61.3 years;53.5%had colon cancer.Among all patients,1,864(14.0%)were diagnosed with stage IV disease.The 3-and 5-year OS rates were 79.90%and 71.50%,respectively,whereas the 3-and 5-year PFS rates were 70.30%and 63.90%,respectively.The median OS and PFS times were 189 and 149 months,respectively.Among 13,328 patients,428(14.0%)patients with poor/undifferentiated cancer suffered recurrence.In patients with stageⅢand stageⅣdiseases,the median PFS times of the patients who received chemotherapy were significantly longer than those in patients who had not received chemotherapy(stageⅢ:147 vs 62 months,P<0.001;stageⅣ:14 vs 9.5 months,P<0.001).Conclusions:This retrospective cohort study illustrates the current status of the clinical characteristics of patients with CRC in southern China.Sex,age,family history,location of cancer occurrence,differentiation status,T status,N status,M status,clinical stage,operation,and surgical margin are independent factors associated with the OS of CRC patients.Lekun Fang Ziqing Yang Mingliang Zhang Manqi Meng Junyan Feng Chuangqi Chen 2021Gastroenterology Report2021,9,6:1

16Accumulation, transportation, and distribution of tetracycline and cadmium in rice显示文摘Co-exposure to heavy metal and antibiotic pollution might result in complexation and synergistic interactions,affecting rice growth and further exacerbating pollutant enrichment.Therefore,our study sought to clarify the influence of different Tetracycline (TC) and Cadmium(Cd) concentration ratios (both alone and combined) on rice growth,pollutant accumulation,and transportation during the tillering stage in hydroponic system.Surprisingly,our findings indicated that the interaction between TC and Cd could alleviate the toxic effects of TC/Cd on aerial rice structures and decrease pollutant burdens during root elongation.In contrast,TC and Cd synergistically promoted the accumulation of TC/Cd in rice roots.However,their interaction increased the accumulation of TC in roots while decreasing the accumulation of Cd when the toxicant doses increased.The strong affinity of rice to Cd promoted its upward transport from the roots,whereas the toxic effects of TC reduced TC transport.Therefore,the combined toxicity of the two pollutants inhibited their upward transport.Additionally,a low concentration of TC promoted the accumulation of Cd in rice mainly in the root tip.Furthermore,a certain dose of TC promoted the upward migration of Cd from the root tip.Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry demonstrated that Cd mainly accumulated in the epidermis and stele of the root,whereas Fe mainly accumulated in the epidermis,which inhibited the absorption and accumulation of Cd by the rice roots through the generation of a Fe plaque.Our findings thus provide insights into the effects of TC and Cd co-exposure on rice growth.Chunfeng He Jini Zhou Chen Yang Zhiyi Song Junheng He Ziqing Huang Yurong Deng Jinling Wang Yu Xiong Zhi Dang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,4:1
17Highly efficient visible-light photocatalytic degradation and antibacterial activity by GaN:ZnO solid solution nanoparticles显示文摘The development of high-efficiency photocatalysts is the primary goal in the field of photocatalytic antibacterial research.In this work,the Ga N:Zn O solid solution nanoparticles(NPs)photocatalyst with strong visible absorption and large specific surface area was synthesized via the sol-gel and nitridation reaction process.Also,we systematically investigated the removal efficiency of the organic pollutant and antibacterial activity on E.coli and S.aureus.Notably,methylene blue solution could be completely degraded after 100 min of visible light illumination using 2 mg/m L Ga N:Zn O catalyst.Moreover,~94%of the E.coli were inactivated within 120 min,whereas 100%antibacterial activity against S.aureus was achieved after 90 min of visible light illumination mediated by Ga N:Zn O NPs.We further explore the potential mechanism of visible light photocatalytic antibacterial activity enhanced by Ga N:Zn O NPs photocatalyst.The current work not only provides a new and efficient photocatalytic antibacterial nanomaterial but also demonstrates its promising applications in environmental and biological fields.Bing Leng Xinglai Zhang Shanshan Chen Jing Li Ziqing Sun Zongyi Ma Wenjin Yang Bingchun Zhang Ke Yang Shu Guo 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,35:1
