2Effect of potential HONO sources on peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)formation in eastern China in winter显示文摘As an important secondary photochemical pollutant,peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)has been studied over decades,yet its simulations usually underestimate the corresponding observations,especially in polluted areas.Recent observations in north China found unusually high concentrations of PAN during wintertime heavy haze events,but the current model still cannot reproduce the observations,and researchers speculated that nitrous acid(HONO)played a key role in PAN formation.For the first time we systematically assessed the impact of potential HONO sources on PAN formation mechanisms in eastern China using the Weather Research and Forecasting/Chemistry(WRF-Chem)model in February of 2017.The results showed that the potential HONO sources significantly improved the PAN simulations,remarkably accelerated the RO x(sum of hydroxyl,hydroperoxyl,and organic peroxy radicals)cycles,and resulted in 80%–150%enhancements of PAN near the ground in the coastal areas of eastern China and 10%–50%enhancements in the areas around 35–40°N within 3 km during a heavy haze period.The direct precursors of PAN were aldehyde and methylglyoxal,and the primary precursors of PAN were alkenes with C>3,xylenes,propene and toluene.The above results suggest that the potential HONO sources should be considered in regional and global chemical transport models when conducting PAN studies.Jingwei Zhang Yitian Guo Yu Qu Yong Chen Ruipeng Yu Chaoyang Xue Rui Yang Qiang Zhang Xingang Liu Yujing Mu Jing Wang Can Ye Haihan Zhao Qiangqiang Sun Ziwen Wang Junling An 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8:3

4Particle Image Velocimetry Experimental and Computational Investigation of a Blood Pump显示文摘Blood pumps have been adopted to treat heart failure over the past decades.A novel blood pump adopting the ro-tor with splitter blades and tandem cascade stator was developed recently.A particle image velocimetry (PIV) experiment was carried out to verify the design of the blood pump based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and further analyze the flow properties in the rotor and stator.The original sized pump model with an acrylic housing and an experiment loop were constructed to perform the optical measurement.The PIV testing was car-ried out at the rotational speed of 6952±50 r/min with the flow rate of 3.1 l/min and at 8186±50 r/min with 3.5 l/min,respectively.The velocity and the Reynolds shear stress distributions were investigated by PIV and CFD,and the comparisons between them will be helpful for the future blood pump design.Xiaochen Yang Xingmin Gui Hui Huang Yongbin Shen Ziwen Yu Yan Zhang 2012Journal of Thermal Science2012,21,3:2

6Strain effect on the orientation-dependent harmonic spectrum of monolayer aluminum nitride显示文摘In this study, we theoretically investigate the strain effect on the orientation-dependent high-order harmonic generation(HHG) of monolayer aluminum nitride(Al N) by solving the multiband semiconductor Bloch equations in strong laser fields. Our simulations denote that the efficiency of the orientation-dependent HHG is considerably enhanced when a 15% biaxial tensile strain is applied to Al N, which is attributed to the downshifting energy level of the conduction band. Furthermore, the odd-even feature in the orientation-dependent high harmonic spectra owing to the strain is considerably different when compared with that in the case without strain. The enhanced quantum interference between different energy bands in strained Al N around the Γ-M direction is responsible for the observed odd-even distributions of the orientation-dependent HHG. 11Asian,regional,and national burdens of respiratory tract cancers and associated risk factors from 1990 to 2019:A systematic analysis for the global burden of disease study 2019显示文摘Background:Respiratory cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide,but its statistics vary between the East and West.This study aimed to estimate the burdens of tracheal,bronchus,and lung(TBL)cancer and larynx cancer and their attributable risks from 1990 to 2019 in Asia,and at regional and national levels.Methods:This research evaluated the incidence,mortality,years lived with disability,years of life lost,and disability-adjusted life years(DALYs)for respiratory tract cancers using the Global Burden of Diseases,Injuries,and Risk Factors Study(GBD)2019 database.Age-standardized rates were calculated for TBL cancer from 1990 to 2019,adjusted for smoking and socio-demographic index(SDI).Deaths from TBL cancer and larynx cancer attributable to each risk factor were estimated for 33 Asian countries.Results:The age-standardized incidence and death rates for TBL cancer in Asia declined from 2010 to 2019,while the incidence rate of larynx cancer increased.Smoking was the leading specific risk factor for deaths from both TBL and larynx cancers.The burden of TBL cancer in Asian countries was influenced by SDI and smoking,particularly among males in Central Asia.Deaths,DALYs,and incidences of larynx cancer in East Asia had not changed significantly over the past 30 years,but showed slight downward trends in males and both sexes combined,and an upward trend in females in recent years.Conclusions:The past decade saw increases in numbers of incident cases and deaths from TBL cancer and larynx cancer in Asia.SDI and smoking were the main factors influencing the disease burden of TBL cancer in Asian countries.This study highlights the need for tailored cancer control programs to address the burden of respiratory tract cancers in different Asian countries.Ran Zhong Xiuyu Cai Jianfu Li Peiling Chen Runchen Wang Xinting Li Feng Li Shan Xiong Caichen Li Huiting Wang Yang Xiang Shuting Zhan Ziwen Yu Haixuan Wang Chunyan Li Lixuan Lin Wenhai Fu Xin Zheng Shen Zhao Kang Zhang Jianxing He 2023Chinese Medical Journal Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine2023,1,4:1

14Degradable nanocatalyst enables antitumor/antibacterial therapy and promotion of wound healing for diabetes via self-enhanced cascading reaction显示文摘Diabetic patients often have problems such as residual tumor and wound infection after tumor resection,causing severe clinical problems.It is urgent to develop effective therapies to reach oncotherapy/antiinfection/promotion of wound healing combined treatment.Herein,we propose CS/MnO_(2)-GO_x (CMGO_x)nanocatalysts for the specific catalytic generation of ~·OH to inhibit tumors and bacteria in a hyperglycemic environment.The good biocompatible chitosan (CS),as a carrier for the catalyst,exhibits excellent antibacterial effect as well as promotes wound healing.Glucose oxidase (GO_x) is loaded on the surface of CS nanoparticles to generate H_(2)O_(2) and gluconic acid by consuming glucose (starvation therapy,ST) and O_(2).The MnO_(2) depletes glutathione (GSH) to produce Mn^(2+),amplifying oxidative stress and further promoting the activity of Mn^(2+)-mediated Fenton-like reaction to produce~·OH (chemodynamic therapy,CDT)in weak acidic environment.Moreover,the produced gluconic acid lowers the p H of the environment,enhancing chemodynamic therapy (ECDT).The tumor cells and bacteria are efficiently eliminated by the synergistic effect of ST and ECDT.The MnO_(2) nanoparticles at neutral environment decomposes H_(2)O_(2) into O_(2),which cooperate with CS to promote healing.The self-enhanced cascade reaction of CMGO_x in situ exhibits excellent effects of antitumor/antibacterial therapy and promotion of wound healing,offering a promising integrated treatment for diabetic patients after tumor surgical resection.Xiang Wang Cheng Ding Ziwen Zhang Chunlin Li Dongmiao Cao Linjing Zhao Guoying Deng Yu Luo Chunping Yuan Jie Lu Xijian Liu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,7:0
15Construction of ternary heterojunction Agl/C-MoS_(2) nanosheets with enhanced visible-light photocatalytic property and self-cleaning performance显示文摘Carbon-molybdenum disulfide(C-MoS_(2))ultrathin nanosheets were prepared by a hydrothermal process,and then Agl/C-MoS_(2) were synthesized via an/n-situ deposition method.This ternary heterojunction composite exhibited better photo-catalytic activity compared with those of one-component(pristine MoS_(2))and bicomponent(Agl/MoS_(2) and C-MoS_(2))materials for the degradation of organic dyes under the visible-light irradiation.In particular,by comparing with Agl/MoS_(2),the significant role of conductive amorphous carbon in Agl/C-MoS_(2) in enhancing the charge transfer during the photocatalytic degradation of dyes was first confirmed by photocurrent response and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).A possible photocatalytic mechanism was proposed based on the capture experiment results.Furthermore,a straightforward and interesting way had been applied to test the recycled/newly-prepared Agl/C-MoS_(2) composite for revealing its distinctive self-cleaning performance and recyclability characteristic besides its good photocatalytic activity.This work could provide a reference for the design of other new ternary heterojunction composite materials with special structures and properties.Yan DU Ziwen NIU Tingjiang YAN Kunlei ZHU Yang YU Zhihong JING 2021Frontiers of Materials Science2021,15,2:0
16High-performance Fe-N-C electrocatalysts with a 'chain mail' protective shield显示文摘Nitrogen-coordinated iron atoms on carbon supports(Fe-N-C)are among the most promising noble-metal-free electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).However,their unsatisfactory stability limits their prac-tical application.Herein,we demonstrate a dual-shell Fe-N-C electrocatalyst with excellent catalytic activity and long-term stability.Pyrrole and dopamine are sequentially polymerized on a fumed silica nanoparticle template.Metal precursor(FeCl_(3))and pore formation agent(ZnCl_(2))were loaded on the inner polypyrrole shell.During carbonization,the Zn evaporation creates abundant mesopores in the polydopamine-derived outer carbon shell,forming a 'chain mail'like outer shell that protects Fe-N-C active sites loaded on the inner carbon shell and enables efficient mass transfer.Systematical tuning of the shield thickness and porosity affords the optimal electrocatalyst with a large surface area of 934 m^(2)g^(-1) and a high Fe loading of 2.04 wt%.This electrocatalyst delivers excellent ORR activity and superior stability in both acidic and alkaline electrolytes.Primary Zn-air batteries fabricated from this electrocatalyst delivers a high-power density of 257 mW cm^(-2) and impressive durability of continuous discharging over 250 h.Creating a graphitic and porous carbon protective shell can be further extended to other electrocatalysts to enable their practical applications in energy conversion and storage.Zixun Yu Chang Liu Junsheng Chen Ziwen Yuan Yuan Chen Li Wei 2021Nano Materials Science2021,3,4:0

18Identification and expression analysis of chlorogenic acid biosynthesis key gene PpHCT in peach显示文摘Shikimic acid/quinic acid hydroxy cinnamyl transferase(HCT)is one of the key enzymes in the phenylpropanoid pathway.However,the role of the HCT gene in chlorogenic acid(CGA)biosynthesis in peach fruit remains unclear.For this,we identified the accumulation pattern of CGA in four peach cultivars,cloned and characterized 11 PpHCT gene members,and further analyzed the expression patterns of these PpHCT genes during fruit development.The contents of CGAs in the four peach cultivars all exhibited a trend of increasing and then decreasing during the fruit growth and development.Moreover,the contents of CGAs in the peel and flesh were tissue-specific.Gene structure analysis indicated that the PpHCT genes were highly conserved,containing two exons and one intron.The protein structure analysis demonstrated that the PpHCT proteins contained two conserved motifs(HXXXD,DFGWG)and a transferase domain(PF02458),which belonged to the BAHD acyltransferase family.The cis-acting element analysis suggested that the promoters of PpHCT genes contained many light-related,hormone-related,stress-related,tissue-specific,and circadian-related elements,and they could participate in a variety of biological processes.Phylogenetic analysis showed that the HCT proteins of peach were closely related to the HCT proteins of plum and had a close evolutionary relationship.The qRT-PCR analysis indicated that the expression levels of PpHCT1 and PpHCT2 showed an opposite trend to the accumulation of CGA,whereas the expression levels of PpHCT4,PpHCT5,PpHCT7,PpHCT8,and PpHCT11 demonstrated the same trend as CGA accumulation.It was worth noting that only PpHCT4 and PpHCT5 were highly expressed in the two high-CGA cultivars but showed low levels of expression in the two low-CGA cultivars.Therefore,it was hypothesized that these two genes might be key genes to the synthesis of CGA in peach fruit.Those findings provide a theoretical basis for further study on the biological functions of the HCT gene and help to reveal the molecular mechanism of CGA.Ziwen Su Meng Sun Zhixiang Cai Shaolei Guo Jiyao Li Bintao Zhao Zhijun Shen Ruijuan Ma Juan Yan Mingliang Yu 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,4:0
19Functional requirement of terminal inverted repeats for efficient ProtoRAG activity reveals the early evolution of V(D)J recombination显示文摘The discovery of ProtoRAG in amphioxus indicated that vertebrate RAG recombinases originated from an ancient transposon. However, the sequences of ProtoRAG terminal inverted repeats(TIRs) were obviously dissimilar to the consensus sequence of mouse 12/23 RSS and recombination mediated by Proto RAG or RAG made them incompatible with each other. Thus, it is difficult to determine whether or how 12/23 RSS persisted in the vertebrate RAG system that evolved from the TIRs of ancient RAG transposons. Here, we found that the activity of ProtoRAG is highly dependent on its asymmetric 5 TIR and 3 TIR, which are composed of conserved TR1 and TR5 elements and a partially conserved TRsp element of 27/31 bp to separate them. Similar to the requirements for the recombination signal sequences(RSSs) of RAG recombinase, the first CAC in TR1, the three dinucleotides in TR5 and the specific length of the partially conserved TRsp are important for the efficient recombination activity of ProtoRAG. In addition, the homologous sequences flanking the signal sequences facilitate Proto RAG-but not RAG-mediated recombination. In addition to the diverged TIRs, two differentiated functional domains in Bb RAG1 L were defined to coordinate with the divergence between TIRs and RSSs. One of these is the CTT^*domain, which facilitates the specific TIR recognition of the Bb RAGL complex, and the other is NBD^*, which is responsible for DNA binding and the protein stabilization of the Bb RAGL complex. 20A Randomized Controlled Trial of a Biodegradable Polymer,Microcrystalline Sirolimus-Eluting Stent(MiStent)versus Another Biodegradable Polymer Sirolimus-Eluting Stent(TIVOLI):The DESSOLVE-C Trial显示文摘Objective::Data comparing the outcomes of MiStent(Micell Technologies,Durham,North Carolina,USA)microcrystalline biodegradable polymer(BP)drug-eluting stent(DES)and those of another post-marketing BP-DES,TIVOLI(EssenTech,Beijing,China)are rare.This study sought to compare the angiographic efficacy and clinical outcomes of the microcrystalline BP sirolimus-eluting stent(SES)system MiStent and those of TIVOLI BP-SES.Methods::The DESSOLVE-C trial was a prospective,single-blinded,multicenter,randomized trial(NCT02448524),which randomly assigned patients with de novo coronary lesions to receive MiStent or TIVOLI BP-SES by a 1:1 ratio.The primary endpoint was a non-inferiority comparison of in-stent late lumen loss(LLL)by quantitative coronary angiography at 9 months.The secondary endpoint was device-related clinical cardiovascular composite events(target lesion failure(TLF),composite of cardiac death,target vessel myocardial infarction(MI),and clinically driven target lesion revascularization)and 1-year outcomes.Results::A total of 428 patients(216 patients in the MiStent group and 212 patients in the TIVOLI group)were enrolled and included in an intention-to-treat analysis.MiStent was not only non-inferior but superior to TIVOLI for in-stent LLL at 9 months((0.23±0.37)mm vs.(0.34±0.48)mm,P for non-inferiority<0.001,P for superiority=0.02).Although without significant difference,the rate of TLF in MiStent was quantitatively lower than that in TIVOLI(3.70%vs.6.60%;P=0.17).Conclusion::Compared with TIVOLI BP-SES,the MiStent system was superior in in-stent LLL at 9 months and had a comparable clinical benefit at 1 year in de novo coronary lesions.Bin Wang Sicong Ma Zhiyong Wang Li Zhang Hanjun Pei Yang Zheng Yuejin Yang Zheng Zhang Xinqun Hu Ziwen Ren Feng Zhang Changqian Wang Renqiang Yang Zhiming Yang Yuexi Wang Guosheng Fu Yu Cao Zuyi Yuan Kai Xu Xin Zhao Bo Xu Miaohan Qiu Quanmin Jing 2023Cardiology Discovery2023,3,1:0
