12018加拿大心境障碍与焦虑障碍治疗协作组/国际双相障碍学会指南:双相障碍的管理显示文摘加拿大心境障碍与焦虑障碍治疗协作组(Canadian Network for Mood and Anxiety Treatments,CANMAT)曾于2005年发布了第1版双相障碍管理指南,并分别于2007、2009和2013年对该指南进行了更新,其中最近的2次更新是与国际双相障碍学会(International Society for Bipolar Disorders,ISBD)合作完成。 Lakshmi N Yatham Sidney H Kennedy Sagar V Parikh Ayal Sehaffer David J Bond Benicio N Frey Verinder Sharma Benjamin I Goldstein Soham Rej Serge Beaulieu Martin Alda Glenda MaeQueen Roumen V Milev Arun Ravindran Claire O'Donovan Diane Mclntosh Raymond W Lam Gustavo Vazquez Flavio Kapczinski Roger S Melntyre Jan Kozicky Shigenobu Kanba Beny Lafer Trisha Suppes Joseph R Calabrese Eduard Vieta Gin Malhi Robert M Post Michael Berk 胡晨(译) 王刚(译) 2019中华精神科杂志2019,52,1:25
2Diffusion weighted imaging: Technique and applications显示文摘Diffusion weighted imaging(DWI) is a method of signal contrast generation based on the differences in Brownian motion. DWI is a method to evaluate the molecular function and micro-architecture of the human body. DWI signal contrast can be quantified by apparent diffusion coefficient maps and it acts as a tool for treatment respon-se evaluation and assessment of disease progression. Ability to detect and quantify the anisotropy of diffusion leads to a new paradigm called diffusion tensor imaging(DTI). DTI is a tool for assessment of the organs with highly organised fibre structure. DWI forms an integral part of modern state-of-art magnetic resonance imaging and is indispensable in neuroimaging and oncology. DWI is a field that has been undergoing rapid technical evolution and its applications are increasing every day. This review article provides insights in to the evolution of DWI as a new imaging paradigm and provides a summary of current role of DWI in various disease processes.Vinit Baliyan Chandan J Das Raju Sharma Arun Kumar Gupta 2016World Journal of Radiology2016,8,9:18
3Abdominal tuberculosis of the gastrointestinal tract: Revisited显示文摘Abdominal tuberculosis is an increasingly common disease that poses diagnostic challenge,as the nonspecific features of the disease which may lead to diagnostic delays and development of complications. This condition is regarded as a great mimicker of other abdominal pathology.A high index of suspicion is an important factor in early diagnosis.Abdominal involvement mayoccur in the gastrointestinal tract, peritoneum, lymphnodes or solid viscera.Various investigative methods have been used to aid in the diagnosis of abdominal tuberculosis.Early diagnosis and initiation of antituberculous therapy and surgical treatment are essential to prevent morbidity and mortality. Most of the patients respond very well to standard antitubercular therapy and surgery is required only in a minority of cases.Imaging plays an important role in diagnosis of abdominal tuberculosis because early recognition of this condition is important. We reviewed our experience with the findings on various imaging modalities for diagnosis of this potentially treatable disease.Uma Debi Vasudevan Ravisankar Kaushal Kishor Prasad Saroj Kant Sinha Arun Kumar Sharma 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,40:14
4Perfusion computed tomography in renal cell carcinoma显示文摘Various imaging modalities are available for the diagnosis, staging and response evaluation of patients with renal cell carcinoma(RCC). While contrast enhanced computed tomography(CT) is used as the standard of imaging for size, morphological evaluation and response assessment in RCC, a new functional imaging technique like perfusion CT(p CT), goes down to the molecular level and provides new perspectives in imaging of RCC. p CT depicts regional tumor perfusion and vascular permeability which are indirect parameters of tumor angiogenesis and thereby provides vital information regarding tumor microenvironment. Also response evaluation using p CT may predate the size criteria used in Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors, as changes in the perfusion occurs earlier following tissue kinase inhibitors before any actual change in size. This may potentially help in predicting prognosis, better selection of therapy and more accurate and better response evaluation in patients with RCC. This article describes the techniques and role of p CT in staging and response assessment in patients with RCCs.Chandan J Das Usha Thingujam Ananya Panda Sanjay Sharma Arun Kumar Gupta 2015World Journal of Radiology2015,7,7:8
5First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). An upper limit on the effective Majorana-neutrino mass of 5.0 eV has been achieved.Li Wang Qian Yue KeJun Kang JianPing Cheng YuanJing Li TszKing Henry Wong ShinTed Lin JianPing Chang JingHan Chen QingHao Chen YunHua Chen Zhi Deng Qiang Du Hui Gong Li He QingJu He JinWei Hu HanXiong Huang TengRui Huang LiPing Jia Hao Jiang HauBin Li Hong Li JianMin Li Jin Li Jun Li Xia Li XueQian Li YuLan Li FongKay Lin ShuKui Liu Hao Ma JingLu Ma XingYu Pan Jie Ren XiChao Ruan ManBin Shen Vivek Sharma Lakhwinder Singh Manoj Kumar Singh Manoj Kumar Singh Arun Kumar Soma ChangJian Tang WeiYou Tang ChaoHsiung Tseng JiMin Wang Qing Wang ShiYong Wu YuCheng Wu HaoYang Xing Yin Xu Tao Xue LiTao Yang SongWei Yang Nan Yi ChunXu Yu HaiJun Yu WeiHe Zeng XiongHui Zeng Zhi Zeng Lan Zhang YunHua Zhang MingGang Zhao Wei Zhao JiFang Zhou ZuYing Zhou JingJun Zhu WeiBin Zhu ZhongHua Zhu 2017Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,7:3
6Regenerative medicine based applications to combat stress urinary incontinence显示文摘Stress urinary incontinence(SUI), as an isolated symptom, is not a life threatening condition. However, the fear of unexpected urine leakage contributes to a significant decline in quality of life parameters for afflicted patients. Compared to other forms of incontinence, SUI cannot be easily treated with pharmacotherapy since it is inherently an anatomic problem. Treatment options include the use of bio-injectable materials to enhance closing pressures, and the placement of slings to bolster fascial support to the urethra. However, histologic findings of degeneration in the incontinent urethral sphincter invite the use of tissues engineering strategies to regenerate structures that aid in promoting continence. In this review, we will assess the role of stem cells in restoring multiple anatomic and physiological aspects of the sphincter. In particular, mesenchymal stem cells and CD34+cells have shown great promise to differentiate into muscular and vascular components, respectively. Evidence supporting the use of cytokines and growth factors such as hypoxia-inducible factor1-alpha, vascular endothelial growth factor, basic fi-broblast growth factor, hepatocyte growth factor and insulin-like growth factor further enhance the viability and direction of differentiation. Bridging the benefits of stem cells and growth factors involves the use of synthetic scaffolds like poly(1,8-octanediol-co-citrate)(POC) thin films. POC scaffolds are synthetic, elastomeric polymers that serve as substrates for cell growth, and upon degradation, release growth factors to the microenvironment in a controlled, predictable fashion. The combination of cellular, cytokine and scaffold elements aims to address the pathologic deficits to urinary incontinence, with a goal to improve patient symptoms and overall quality of life.Hatim Thaker Arun K Sharma 2013World Journal of Stem Cells2013,5,4:3
7Prevalence and clinical characteristics associated with left atrial thrombus detection: Apixaban显示文摘BACKGROUND The prevalence of left atrial appendage(LAA) thrombus detection by transesophageal echocardiogram(TEE) in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation(AF) anticoagulated with apixaban is not well defined and identification of additional risk factors may help guide the selection process for pre-procedural TEE. The purpose of our study was to retrospectively analyze the prevalence of LAA thrombus detection by TEE in patients continuously anticoagulated with apixaban for ≥ 4 wk and evaluate for any cardiac risk factors or echocardiographic characteristics which may serve as predictors of thrombus formation.AIM To retrospectively analyze the prevalence of LAA thrombus detection by TEE in patients continuously anticoagulated with apixaban.METHODS Clinical and echocardiographic data for 820 consecutive patients with AF undergoing TEE at Augusta University Medical Center over a four-year period were retrospectively analyzed. All patients(apixaban: 226) with non-valvular AF and documented compliance with apixaban for ≥ 4 wk prior to index TEE were included.RESULTS Following ≥ 4 wk of continuous anticoagulation with apixaban, the prevalence ofLAA thrombus and LAA thrombus/dense spontaneous echocardiographic contrast was 3.1% and 6.6%, respectively. Persistent AF, left ventricular ejection fraction < 30%, severe LA dilation, and reduced LAA velocity were associated with thrombus formation. Following multivariate logistic regression, persistent AF(OR: 7.427; 95%CI: 1.02 to 53.92; P = 0.0474), and reduced LAA velocity(OR:1.086; 95%CI: 1.010 to 1.187; P = 0.0489) were identified as independent predictors of LAA thrombus. No Thrombi were detected in patients with a CHA2 DS2-VASc score ≤ 1.CONCLUSION Among patients with non-valvular AF and ≥ 4 wk of anticoagulation with apixaban, the prevalence of LAA thrombus detected by TEE was 3.1%. This suggests that continuous therapy with apixaban does not completely eliminate the risk of LAA thrombus and that TEE prior to cardioversion or catheter ablation may be of benefit in patients with multiple risk factors.Hoyle L Whiteside Arun Nagabandi Kristen Brown Deepak N Ayyala Gyanendra K Sharma 2019World Journal of Cardiology2019,11,2:2

11Influence of peach(Prunus persica Batsch)phenological stage on the short-term changes in oxidizable and labile pools of soil organic carbon and activities of carbon-cycle enzymes in the North-Western Himalayas显示文摘The labile organic carbon(C)and C-related enzymes are sensitive indicators capturing alterations of soil organic matter(SOM),even in a short-time scale.Although the effects of crop husbandry and land use change on these attributes have been well studied, there is no consensus about how plant phenology may impact them. This study aimed to determine the short-term effect o f six distinct phenological stages(PS-1:full bloom;PS-2:fruit set;PS-3:pit hardening;PS-4:physiological maturity;PS-5:60 d after physiological maturity;and PS-6:fall)o f peach on the changes in soil organic carbon(SOC)fractions of different oxidizability, labile C pools, and C-cycle enzyme activities in soils, for two consecutive years(2015 and 2016)in the North-Western Himalayas(NWH).Peach rhizosphere soils were sampled at the topsoil(0-15 cm)and subsoil(16-30 cm)layers, along with rhizosphere soils from adjacent perennial grasses, which served as a control.Values for most of the assessed parameters, including very labile C,labile C,microbial biomass C,permanganate oxidizable C,dissolved organic C,mineralizable C,amylase activity, and carboxymethyl-cellulase activity, were significantly(P<0.05)higher at PS-3 than at other phenological stages of peach.Conversely,a sudden decline in these soil variables was recorded at PS-5,followed by a slight buildup at PS-6,particularly in the topsoil of the peach orchard.Short-term changes in organic C fractions of different oxidizability, influenced by peach phenological stage,significantly(P<0.05)affected C management index,C pool index, and lability index. Both the C management index and lability index showed their highest values at PS-3 and their lowest values at PS-5,clearly indicating short-term accretion and depletion of SOC,in tandem with the peach phenological events.Principal component analysis suggested that a composite of soil indicators, including microbial biomass C,dissolved organic C,amylase, and invertase, could help detect short-term changes in SOC content. It is concluded that peach phenological events had a major impact on the short-term variations of the studied soil variables, which could be attributed to changes in the above-and belowground plant residues,as well as the extent of nutrients and water acquisition.Sovan DEBNATH Brij Lai ATTRI Anil KUMAR Arun KISHOR Raj NARAYAN Kanchan SINHA Arpan BHOWMIK Anil SHARMA Desh Beer SINGH 2020Pedosphere2020,30,5:2
