1Efficacy of Banxia Xiexin decoction in a rat model of chronic atrophic gastritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effectiveness of Banxia Xiexin decoction(BXD)in a rat model of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).METHODS:Sixty 6-week-old healthy Wistar rats(30 males,30 females)were used in the present study.A rat model of CAG was successfully established using the combined active immunization/ethanol/sodium deoxycholate method.BXD was prepared from a mixture of seven Chinese herbs,and was intragastrically administered to CAG rats at three different doses(6,12,and 24 g·kg^-1·d^-1).Af-ter 24 weeks,the rats were euthanized,and gastric tissue specimens were collected.Gastric mucosal specimens were stained with hematoxylin and eosin for histological examination to evaluate the degree of inflammation and morphological changes.Immunohistochemical staining was performed to examine the mucosal expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen.Serum gastrin levels were measured using radioimmunoassay.The expression of Notch signaling-associated genes was examined by quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blot assay.RESULTS:BXD at all three doses significantly reversed the adverse effects generated by CAG in rats.Compared with control rats,the CAG rats who were administered BXD had an accelerated growth rate,reduced inflammatory cell infiltration,improved gastric mucosal morphology,augmented thickness of the gastric mucosa,increased number of gastric glands,enhanced mucosal expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen,and elevated serum gastrin levels.Bai Yu Chen Yongcan Chen Yu Yan Maoxiang Wei Hongquan Wang Hengcang Zeng Guoliang Yang Xiyin 2019Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,6:14
2Avoiding the innovation island in infrastructure mega-project显示文摘Infrastructure mega-project(IMP) innovation is a complex process characterized by highly diverse innovators, a dynamic life-cycle, and stickiness of innovation knowledge. The IMP's innovation network can be easily broken due to the fact that the network involves many different innovators across different industries and different projects. Further reasons for the fragility of the IMP's innovation network are the dynamics of the IMP life-cycle, the diversity of the IMP's innovative entities, the uniqueness of each IMP, and the temporary nature of each IMP's organizations. The innovation island formed by the breaking of an IMP's innovation network can stifle and harm innovation performance. Drawing from the knowledge-based view as well as innovation network theory, our research identifies the heterogeneous characteristics of IMP innovation. We propose a framework to analyze the formation mechanism of the IMP innovation island from three dimensions—the horizontal innovation island, the vertical innovation island, and the longitudinal innovation island. We look at the Hong Kong-ZhuhaiMacao Bridge project to elaborate the innovation island concept that negatively impacts IMP innovation. 3Effect of a Traditional Chinese Medicine combined therapy on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness of a combined Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) therapy versus conventional treatment on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.METHODS:One hundred twenty outpatients with mild and moderate adolescent idiopathic scoliosis were randomly divided into a TCM group(TCMG)and a brace group(CG).TCMG patients underwent Daoyin,Tuina,and acupotomology therapies.CG patients were treated with a Milwaukee brace.Each patient's Cobb angle was measured after 12 and 24 months of treatment,and pulmonary function was determined after 12 months of treatment.Average electromyogram(AEMG) ratio of the surface electromyogram was measured after 6 and 12 months of treatment and followed-up after 18 and 24 months.RESULTS:The Cobb angle significantly decreased in both groups after 12 months of treatment compared with before treatment(P< 0.05).The percentages of original Cobb angle in TCMG and CG were51.4%and 47.8%(P > 0.05) after 12 months and62.5%and 34.7%(P < 0.05) after 24 months,respectively.Pulmonary function significantly improved after 12 months in TCMG(P < 0.05) but significantly decreased in CG(P < 0.05).The AEMG ratio was significantly lower(P < 0.01) and tended to remain at1 after stopping treatment in TCMG,but increased in CG(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:TCM combined therapy can prevent the progression of scoliosis.The AEMG ratio is a promising index that could replace radiography in the evaluation of treatment effect and progression in scoliosis.Wei Hui Xu Jinyuan Jiang Zhong Ye Shuliang Song Hongquan Ning Xitao Huang Huanmin Chen Wei Pei Jianwei Jiang Nengyi Chen Shao Du Honggen 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5:9

5Exploring BH_2CN-based hydrophobic hypergolic fuels and effective fuel“additives”: Imidazolylidene cyanoborane complexes显示文摘Two hydrophobic imidazolylidene-cyanoborane complexes were prepared by the introduction of{BH2 CN} into the molecular formula via treatment of imidazolium iodide and Na BH3 CN avoiding literature's tedious and hazardous procedures. These two complexes were fully characterized using IR spectroscopy,~1 H NMR and^(13)C NMR spectroscopy and high-resolution mass spectrometer. The X-Ray structure of NHC-1 has been determined. 6Effect of rich R-TiO2 on the rate and cycle properties of Li4Ti5O12 as anode for lithium ion batteries显示文摘Li4Ti5012 (LTO) with rich R-TiO2 (17.06, 23.69, and 34.42 wt%), namely, R-TiO2@Li4Ti5O12 composites, were synthesized using the hydrothermal method and tetrabutyl titanate (TBT) as the precursor. Rietveld refinement of X-ray diffraction (XRD) results show that the proportion of Li occupying 16d sites is extraordinary low and the lattice constants of LTO and R-TiO2 change with the ritanium dioxide content. EIS measurements showed that with in creasing R-TiO2 content, both its charge transfer impedance (Rct) and lithium ion diffusion coefficient (DLi) decreased. The changes of Rct and DLi caused by the increase of titanium dioxide content have synergic-antagonistic effects on the rate and cycle properties of Li4Ti5012. The rate performance is positively related to DLi, while the cycle property is negatively correlated with Rct, indicati ng that the rate performs nee is mainly related to DLi, while Rct more significantly affects the cycle performance. 11Effects of Bi^(3+) on down-/up-conversion luminescence,temperature sensing and optical transition properties of Bi^(3+)/Er^(3+)co-doped YNbO_(4) phosphors显示文摘A series of YNbO_(4):Bi^(3+) and YNbO_(4):Bi^(3+)/Er^(3+) phosphors were prepared by a conventional high temperature solid-state reaction method.The results of XRD and Rietveld refinement confirm that monoclinic phase YNbO_(4)samples are achieved.The down-/up-conversion luminescence of Er^(3+) ions was investigated under the excitation of ultraviolet light(327 nm)and near infrared light(980 nm).Under 327 nm excitation,broad visible emission band from Bi^(3+) ions and characteristic green emission peaks from Er^(3+) ions are simultaneously observed,while only strong green emissions from Er^(3+) ions are detected upon excitation of 980 nm.Remarkable emission enhancement is observed in down-/up-conversion luminescence processes by introducing Bi^(3+) ions into Er^(3+)-doped YNbO_(4)phosphors.Pumped current versus up-conversion emission intensity study shows that two-photon processes are responsible for both the green and the red up-conversion emissions of Er^(3+)ion.Through the study of the temperature sensing property of Er^(3+) ion,it is affirmed that the temperature sensitivity is sensitive to the doping concentration of Bi^(3+) ions.By comparing the experimental values of the radiative transition rate ratio of the two green emission levels of Er^(3+) ions and the theoretical values calculated by Judd-Ofelt(J-O)theory,it is concluded that the temperature sensing property of Er^(3+) ions is greatly affected by the energy level splitting.Xin Wang Xiangping Li Hongquan Yu Sai Xu Jiashi Sun Lihong Cheng Xizhen Zhang Jinsu Zhang Yongze Cao Baojiu Chen 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,3:1
