| 3 | Thrombolysis with alteplase 3-4.5 hours after acute ischaemic stroke:the first multicentre,phase III trial in China显示文摘background and purpose Data on the efficacy and safety of alteplase for acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)administered 3-4.5 hours after the onset of stroke symptoms in Chinese patients is limited.We sought to determine whether AIS patients would benefit from thrombolysis with alteplase between 3 and 4.5 hours after the onset of stroke symptoms in a prospective,multicentre,single-arm trial in China.Materials and methods Eligible AIS patients were given 0.9 mg/kg alteplase intravenously.The primary efficacy endpoint was a favourable outcome at 3 months,defined as a score of 0 or 1 on the modified Rankin Scale.Thresholds for the primary efficacy endpoint were determined to be 40%based on the literature review.The primary safety endpoint was symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage(sICH)according to the European Cooperative Acute Stroke Study III(ECASS III)trial definition.Post hoc analysis between this study and the ECASS III trial were compared using the propensity score matching(PSM)method.results A total of 120 eligible AIS patients from 11 sites in China received thrombolysis therapy in this study.The median time from onset of symptoms to needle was 3 hours 54 min.The percentage of patients with a favourable outcome was 63.3%(95%CI 54.4 to 71.4),significantly higher than the predefined threshold(p<0.0001).Three patients(2.5%,95%CI 0.5 to 7.1)had sICH,including two fatal sICH.Six patients died within 3 months after treatment.The post hoc PSM analysis showed a numerically higher rate of the primary efficacy endpoint in this study(63.3%)than the matched placebo arm(56.7%)in the ECASS III trial.Conclusions Intravenous alteplase with a standard dose administered between 3 and 4.5 hours after onset of symptoms is effective and safe for Chinese AIS patients. | Huaguang Zheng Yi Yang Huisheng Chen Chuanling Li Yangkun Chen Fu-Dong Shi Li Yang Xiaoping Cui Zuneng Lu Yanling Liang Songbiao Cui Anding Xu Yiqing Wu Yaqing Sun Yongjun Wang | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,3: | 4 |
| 4 | Nanocellulose-Assisted Construction of Multifunctional MXene-Based Aerogels with Engineering Biomimetic Texture for Pressure Sensor and Compressible Electrode显示文摘Multifunctional architecture with intriguing structural design is highly desired for realizing the promising performances in wearable sensors and flexible energy storage devices.Cellulose nanofiber(CNF)is employed for assisting in building conductive,hyperelastic,and ultralight Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene hybrid aerogels with oriented tracheid-like texture.The biomimetic hybrid aerogels are constructed by a facile bidirectional freezing strategy with CNF,carbon nanotube(CNT),and MXene based on synergistic electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding.Entangled CNF and CNT“mortars”bonded with MXene“bricks”of the tracheid structure produce good interfacial binding,and superior mechanical strength(up to 80%compressibility and extraordinary fatigue resistance of 1000 cycles at 50%strain).Benefiting from the biomimetic texture,CNF/CNT/MXene aerogel shows ultralow density of 7.48 mg cm^(-3)and excellent electrical conductivity(~2400 S m^(-1)).Used as pressure sensors,such aerogels exhibit appealing sensitivity performance with the linear sensitivity up to 817.3 kPa^(-1),which affords their application in monitoring body surface information and detecting human motion.Furthermore,the aerogels can also act as electrode materials of compressive solid-state supercapacitors that reveal satisfactory electrochemical performance(849.2 mF cm^(-2)at 0.8 mA cm^(-2))and superior long cycle compression performance(88%after 10,000 cycles at a compressive strain of 30%). | Ting Xu Qun Song Kun Liu Huayu Liu Junjie Pan Wei Liu Lin Dai Meng Zhang Yaxuan Wang Chuanling Si Haishun Du Kai Zhang | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,7: | 2 |

| 8 | Evaluation and Improvement of Antioxidant Activity of Water-soluble Lignin Products from Steam Explosion Processing of Corn Stalk显示文摘In this study,corn stalk was pretreated by steam explosion under various processing conditions,and the antioxidant activity of hydrolysates in the post-process washing liquor was analyzed using the 1,1'-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH•)scavenging method.The yield and composition of the hydrolysates obtained under different treatment conditions were also determined;the results indicated that the steam explosion extent had a significant effect on both properties.Under optimized conditions(1.5 MPa,20 min),the obtained hydrolysate had the highest phenolic compound yield(18.6 mg/g untreated corn stalk)and the highest radical scavenging capacity(IC_(50)=0.24 mg/mL).To confirm the positive effect of phenolic compounds on the antioxidant activity of the hydrolysate,one-step ethanol fractionation was carried out.Due to the enrichment of phenolic compounds,the ethanolsoluble fraction(ESF)exhibited significantly enhanced antioxidant activity with an IC_(50) value of 0.06 mg/mL,which was close to that of butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT,IC_(50)=0.056 mg/mL).Consequently,this work indicated that phenolic compounds have a significant effect on the antioxidant activity of hydrolysate from steam-exploded corn stalk and that simple one-step ethanol fractionation is an effective way to enrich the phenolic compounds in the hydrolysate and improve the antioxidant activity. | Hao Sun Rui Wang Guanhua Wang Wenjie Sui Chuanling Si | 2021 | Paper And Biomaterials2021,6,3: | 1 |

| 15 | A real-world study of immune checkpoint inhibitors in advanced triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Background:Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is the most aggressive type of breast cancer.Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)have been widely used to treat various tumors and have changed the landscape of tumor management,but the data from real-world studies of ICIs for TNBC treatment remain limited.The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of ICIs in the treatment of patients with advanced TNBC in a real-world setting and to explore possible correlates.Methods:The clinical data of advanced TNBC patients who received ICI treatment in the Chinese People's Liberation Army(PLA)General Hospital were collected.Treatment responses,outcomes and adverse events(AEs)were assessed.Results:Eighty-one patients were included in the study.The confirmed objective response rate(ORR)was 32.1%,and the disease control rate(DCR)was 64.2%.The median progression-free survival(PFS)was 4.2 months,and the median overall survival(OS)was 11.0 months.PFS and OS were longer in patients who achieved clinical benefit from ICIs and shorter in patients who received later-line ICIs and higher levels of inflammation;specifically,patients with higher TILs had longer PFS.Overall AEs were tolerable.Conclusions:ICIs are effective in the treatment of advanced TNBC,and the adverse reactions are tolerable.A panel of biomarkers including LDH,ALP,and bNLR were identified to predict the efficacies of ICIs in TNBC treatment. | Zheng Zhang Yadi Zhang Chuanling Liu Jiakang Shao Yimeng Chen Yimin Zhu Li Zhang Boyu Qin Ziqing Kong Xixi Wang Yutong Wang Deqin Huang Liqun Liu Yuxin Zhou Ran Tao Zengjie Yang Mei Liu Weihong Zhao | 2023 | Cancer Innovation2023,2,3: | 0 |
