13D Mineral Prospectivity Mapping Based on Deep Metallogenic Prediction Theory:A Case Study of the Lala Copper Mine,Sichuan,China显示文摘With the decrease in surface and shallow ore deposits,mineral exploration has focused on deeply buried ore bodies,and large-scale metallogenic prediction presents new opportunities and challenges.This paper adopts the predictive thinking method in this era of big data combined with specific research on the special exploration and exploitation of deep-earth resources.Four basic theoretical models of large-scale deep mineralization prediction and evaluation are explored:mineral prediction geological model theory,multidisciplinary information correlation theory,mineral regional trend analysis theory,and mineral prediction geological differentiation theory.The main workflow of large-scale deep resource prediction in the digital and information age is summarized,including construction of ore prospecting models of metallogenic systems,multiscale 3 D geological modeling,and 3 D quantitative prediction of deep resources.Taking the Lala copper mine in Sichuan Province as an example,this paper carries out deep 3 D quantitative prediction of mineral resources and makes a positive contribution to the future prediction and evaluation of mineral resources.Keyan Xiao Jie Xiang Mingjing Fan Yang Xu 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2:2

5Uncertainty Visualisation of a 3D Geological Geometry Model and Its Application in GIS-Based Mineral Resource Assessment:A Case Study in Huayuan District,Northwestern Hunan Province,China显示文摘This paper reports an application of uncertainty visualisation of a regional scale(1:50000)3 D geological geometry model to be involved in GIS-based 3 D mineral potential assessment of the Xiangxibei lead-zinc mineral concentration area in northwestern Hunan District,China.Three-dimensional(3 D)geological modelling is a process of interpretation that combines a set of input measurements in geometry.Today,technology has become a necessary part of GIS-based deep prospecting.However,issues of sparse data and imperfect understanding exist in the process so that there are several uncertainties in 3 D geological modelling.And these uncertainties are inevitably transmitted into the post-processing applications,such as model-based mineral resource assessment.Thus,in this paper,first,a big-data-based method was used to estimate the uncertainty of a 3 D geological model;second,a group of expectations of geological geometry uncertainty were calculated and integrated into ore-bearing stratoisohypse modelling,which is one of the major favourable parameters of assessment for Lead-Zinc(Pb-Zn)deep prospectivity mapping in northwestern Hunan;and finally,prospecting targets were improved.Nan Li Cangbai Li Wenkai Chu Keyan Xiao Weihan Tao Xianglong Song Rui Cao Yang Xu Mingjing Fan 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2:1

7Optimization of the Plugging Agent Dosage for High Temperature Salt Profile Control in Heavy Oil Reservoirs显示文摘After steam discharge in heavy oil reservoirs,the distribution of temperature,pressure,and permeability in different wells becomes irregular.Flow channels can easily be produced,which affect the sweep efficiency of the oil displacement.Previous studies have shown that the salting-out plugging method can effectively block these channels in high-temperature reservoirs,improve the suction profile,and increase oil production.In the present study,the optimal dosage of the plugging agent is determined taking into account connection transmissibility and inter-well volumes.Together with the connectivity model,a water flooding simulation model is introduced.Moreover,a non-gradient stochastic disturbance algorithm is used to obtain the optimal plugging agent dosage,which provides the basis for the high-temperature salting-out plugging agent adjustment in the field.Jiayu Ruan Mingjing Lu Wei Zhang Yuxi Zhang Yuhui Zhou Jie Gong Fan Wang Yuanxiao Guan 2023Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2023,19,2:0
8Multi-scale coupling analysis of urbanization and ecosystem services supply-demand budget in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, China显示文摘Rapid economic development and human activities have severely affected ecosystem function.Analysis of the spatial distribution of areas of rapid urbanization is the basis for optimizing urban-ecological spatial design.This paper evaluated the spatial distribution of urbanization in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region,and then quantified the ecosystem services(ES)budget in the region based on an ES supply and demand matrix.The results showed that(1)urbanization patterns in the BTH region were relatively stable from 2000 to 2015,with clear patterns of low levels of urbanization in the northwest and high levels in the southeast;(2)areas with positive ES budget values were found throughout the region,except in built-up areas,with high ES supply areas concentrated in the northwest,and high ES demand areas in the southeast;(3)at both the county and prefecture-city levels,urbanization had negative,positive,and negative correlations with ES supply,demand,and budget,respectively;(4)the coupling coordination degree(CCD)increased,with high CCD values in the southeast.Based on these results,policy recommendations include strengthening rational land-use planning and ecosystem management,promoting the coordinated development of the economy and ecological function,and coordinating the provision of production-life-ecological functions.ZHANG Fan XU Ning WANG Chao GUO Mingjing Pankaj KUMAR 2023Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,2:0
9Zircon Hf Isotope Mapping for Understanding Crustal Architecture and Its Controls on Mineralization during Early Cretaceous in the Southern Great Xing'an Range,NE China显示文摘Voluminous Early Cretaceous granitoids and associated large-scale ore deposits are distributed within the southern Great Xing'an Range(SGXR),NE China.Based on previously published geochronology and zircon Hf-isotope data,Hf isotope mapping is undertaken to improve our understanding of crustal architecture and its controls on ore deposits.The ore-related Early Cretaceous granitoids were sourced predominantly from juvenile crust,with the involvement of variable proportions of ancient crustal materials.The crustal architecture,as inferred from Hf isotopic contour maps,indicates two distinct Hf isotopic domains in SGXR,including(1)a higher-ε_(Hf)(+7 to+11)juvenile crust containing minor ancient crustal material,and(2)a lower-ε_(Hf)(+2 to+6)juvenile crust containing a greater proportion of ancient crustal materials.The Hf isotopic maps identify links between crustal architecture and regional metallogeny.Copper deposits and other deposits with significant Cu production are restricted mainly to the higher-ε_(Hf)juvenile crustal regions in the northern and eastern SGXR.Deposits dominated by other metals(e.g.,Mo,Sn,W,Pb,Zn,and Ag)occur mainly in the lower-ε_(Hf)juvenile crustal regions in the southern and western SGXR.Interaction between juvenile crust-derived melts and ancient crustal components played an important role on the distribution of various ore metals.Feng Yuan Huanan Liu Shengjin Zhao Mingjing Fan 2024Journal of Earth Science2024,35,1:0
10Galectin-7 overexpression destroys airway epithelial barrier in transgenic mice显示文摘When the integrity of airway epithelium is destroyed,the ordered airway barrier no longer exists and increases sensitivity to viral infections and allergens,leading to the occurrence of airway inflammation such as asthma.Here,we found that galectin-7 transgenic(+)mice exhibited abnormal airway structures as embryos and after birth.These abnormalities included absent or substantially reduced pseudostratified columnar ciliated epithelium and increased monolayer cells with irregular arrangement and widening of intercellular spaces.Moreover,airway tissue from galectin-7 transgenic(+)mice showed evidence of impaired cell–cell junctions and decreased expression of zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)and E-cadherin.When treated with respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)or ovalbumin(OVA),galectin-7 transgenic(+)mice developed substantially increased bronchial epithelial detachment and apoptosis,airway smooth muscle and basement membrane thickening,and enhanced airway responsiveness.We found that Galectin-7 localized in the cytoplasm and nucleus of bronchial epithelial cells,and that increased apoptosis was mediated through mitochondrial release of cytochrome c and upregulated JNK1 activation and expression of caspase-3 in galectin-7 Tg(+)mice.These findings suggested that Galectin-7 causes airway structural defects and destroys airway epithelium barrier,which predispose the airways to RSV or OVA-induced epithelial apoptosis,injury,and other asthma responses.Jing TIAN Ruxuan HE Yimu FAN Qianqian ZHANG Baolin TIAN Chunju ZHOU Chunyan LIU Mingjing SONG Shunying ZHAO 2021Integrative Zoology2021,16,2:0
