1Field experiment on a robust hierarchical metropolitan quantum cryptography network显示文摘A hierarchical metropolitan quantum cryptography network upon the inner-city commercial telecom fiber cables is reported in this paper. The seven-user network contains a four-node backbone net with one node acting as the subnet gateway, a two-user subnet and a single-fiber access link, which is realized by the Faraday-Michelson interferometer set-ups. The techniques of the quantum router, optical switch and trusted relay are assembled here to guarantee the feasibility and expandability of the quantum cryptography network. Five nodes of the network are located in the government departments and the secure keys generated by the quantum key distribution network are utilized to encrypt the instant video, sound, text messages and confidential files transmitting between these bureaus. 4Peroxyacetyl nitrate observed in Beijing in August from 2005 to 2009显示文摘Measurements of peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN) were made at a Beijing urban site each August from2005 to 2009. Over this 5-year period, the average PAN concentration for August in each year increased from 3(2005) to 11.7 μg/m3(2007); however, it decreased rapidly in 2008(4.1 μg/m3).Generally, the variation over the 5 years showed a rise in the first part of the study period,followed by a decline. We considered two categories of local and regional air masses in this study, which revealed that the PAN concentration in Beijing was affected mainly by southeastern air masses. The August PAN variation was influenced predominantly by local air masses in 2005,but by 2009 regional air masses had become more important. This study showed the level and variation of PAN in the month of August in 5 consecutive years for the first time, and proved that control measures are useful in decreasing photochemical pollution; hence, these measures are probably feasible for other megacities too. 8Decoy-state measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution with mismatched-basis statistics显示文摘Measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution(MDI-QKD) is aimed at removing all detector side channel attacks,while its security relies on the assumption that the encoding systems including sources are fully characterized by the two legitimate parties. By exploiting the mismatched-basis statistics in the security analysis, MDI-QKD even with uncharacterized qubits can generate secret keys. 10Numerical Simulation of a Viscoelastic Thinning Process for Preparing Flexible Glasses by Redrawing Method显示文摘The forming process of the flexible ultrathin glasses(UTG)prepared by the redrawing method was numerically simulated using ANSYS Polyflow software.In the forming process by the redrawing method,temperature,viscosity,transverse and longitudinal velocity distribution of the glasses with different compositions were studied.Furthermore,the influence of these factors on the width and thickness of the flexible glass plate was investigated.It is found that the internal and external heat exchange of glass has a dominant influence on the viscosity variation during the UTG forming process,which is inconsistent with the general viscosity-temperature dependence.The glass that first reaches the lower limit of forming viscosity can significantly resist the shrinking effect caused by surface tension,making the glass wider during the forming.If the original glass width remains unchanged,the glass thickness or feeding speed is reduced,wider and thinner flexible glasses can be produced.刘冰 袁坚 GUO Zhenqiang ZHANG Qi HAN Zhuangzhuang TAN Jinqi TIAN Peijing ZHENG Weihong 2023Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2023,38,1:0

12A high-speed true random number generator based on Ag/SiNx/n-Si memristor显示文摘The intrinsic variability of memristor switching behavior can be used as a natural source of randomness,this variability is valuable for safe applications in hardware,such as the true random number generator(TRNG).However,the speed of TRNG is still be further improved.Here,we propose a reliable Ag/SiNx/n-Si volatile memristor,which exhibits a typical threshold switching device with stable repeat ability and fast switching speed.This volatile-memristor-based TRNG is combined with nonlinear feedback shift register(NFSR)to form a new type of high-speed dual output TRNG.Interestingly,the bit generation rate reaches a high speed of 112 kb/s.In addition,this new TRNG passed all 15 National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST)randomness tests without post-processing steps,proving its performance as a hardware security application.This work shows that the SiNx-based volatile memristor can realize TRNG and has great potential in hardware network security.Xiaobing Yan Zixuan Zhang Zhiyuan Guan Ziliang Fang Yinxing Zhang Jianhui Zhao Jiameng Sun Xu Han Jiangzhen Niu Lulu Wang Xiaotong Jia Yiduo Shao Zhen Zhao Zhenqiang Guo Bing Bai 2024Frontiers of physics2024,19,1:0
13Establishment of a three-dimensional particle library for graded crushed stone based on a new aggregate morphology characterization method显示文摘The morphology of graded crushed stone(GCS)particles has an essential influence on the performance of aggregate mixtures.The impact of particle shape is a comprehensive effect that cannot be considered separately,leading to difficulties in establishing the relationship between the mixture properties and the aggregate morphology by using laboratory methods.The discrete element method(DEM)is an effective way widely adopted to reconstruct the morphology of particles and simulate performance tests of granular materials.However,selecting limited particles characterizing a real particle-assembly for simulation is still a challenge in current research due to the inherent rich variability of particle shapes.In this study,based on the acquisition of three-dimensional(3D)aggregate shapes by using laser scanning,ellipsoid index(EDI)translating the particle shape as a function of surface area,volume,and contour length is proposed to comprehensively evaluate aggregate morphology.Further,a particle library capable of characterizing aggregate morphology distribution is established based on the statistics of the corresponding morphological characteristics of particle samples.The model reliability is validated by carrying out a series of experimental and numerical penetration tests with nine different gradations.The established particle library can be used to model aggregate mixtures and the proposed simulation framework is promising for optimizing the mixture gradation design numerically.Haitao Ge Aimin Sha Zhenqiang Han 2024Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2024,11,1:0
14Research on error accumulation control of three-dimensional adjustment with offset constraint显示文摘Background Currently,laser tracker is the primary instrument used to carry out three-dimensional position measurement in accelerator alignment.Theoretically,three-dimensional measuring data processed by three-dimensional adjustment are more rigorous,however,error accumulation is found in practice.Purpose In order to control error accumulation and further improve the measurement accuracy of accelerator alignment,this research introduces the laser alignment system into the activity of measurement and data processing.Methods A measurement scheme combining laser tracker and laser alignment system is proposed.To construct the constraint condition,the offset values from the measuring points to the laser straight-line datum were used.To carry out the three-dimensional adjustment with offset constraint,the laser tracker observations were used.Results A three-dimensional adjustment function model of laser tracker observations is given.The construction method of the constraint equation is researched,and the calculation formulas of the three-dimensional adjustment with offset constraint are derived.A 200 m linac tunnel control network is designed,using simulation measurement method,the measuring data of laser tracker and the offset values from the measuring points to the laser straight-line datum were generated.The simulated data are calculated by the method given in this paper and the result is analyzed.Conclusion Simulation result shows introducing the laser alignment system into laser tracker measurement and applying the three-dimensional adjustment with offset constraint can effectively suppress the error accumulation caused by long distance move station measurement.Wang Xiaolong Kang Ling Dong Lan Li Bo Men Lingling Luo Tao Wang Tong Liang Jing He Zhenqiang Ke Zhiyong Ma Na Lu Shang Han Yuanying Yan Luping Zhang Luyan Liu Xiaoyang Yan Haoyue Li Chunhua Wu Lei 2022Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2022,6,4:0

18FPGA based digital phase-coding quantum key distribution system显示文摘Quantum key distribution(QKD) is a technology with the potential capability to achieve information-theoretic security. Phasecoding is an important approach to develop practical QKD systems in fiber channel. In order to improve the phase-coding modulation rate, we proposed a new digital-modulation method in this paper and constructed a compact and robust prototype of QKD system using currently available components in our lab to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. The system was deployed in laboratory environment over a 50 km fiber and continuously operated during 87 h without manual interaction. The quantum bit error rate(QBER) of the system was stable with an average value of 3.22% and the secure key generation rate is 8.91 kbps.
