1Effect of Silver Content on Microstructure and Properties of Brass/steel Induction Brazing Joint Using Ag-Cu-Zn-Sn Filler Metal显示文摘The induction brazing of brass to steel using Ag-Cu-Zn-Sn filler metal was investigated in this study.The influence of Ag content on the microstructure and properties were analyzed by means of optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and electron probe microanalysis.Defect free joint was achieved using Ag-Cu-Zn-Sn filler metal.The microstructure of the joint was mainly composed of Ag-based solid solution and Cu-based solid solution.The increase of Ag content and the cooling rate both led to the increase of the needle like eutectic structure.The tensile strength decreased with the increase of Ag content.The tensile strength at room temperature using Ag25CuZnSn filler metal reached 445 MPa.All fractures using Ag-Cu-Zn-Sn filler metal presented ductile characteristic.J. 3INFLUENCE OF COLD ROLLING REDUCTION ON MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF TWIP STEEL显示文摘The influence of cold rolling reduction on microstructure and mechanical properties of the TWIP (ttwinning induced plasticity) steel was investigated. The results indicated that the steel had better comprehensive mechanical properties when cold rolling reduction was about 65.0% and the annealing temperature was 1000℃. The tensile strength of the steel is about 640MPa and the yield strength is higher than 255MPa, while the elongation is above 82%. The microstructure is composed of austenitic matrix and annealing twins at room temperature, at the same time, a significant amount of annealing twins and stacking faults are observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). 8STUDY OF MICROSTRUCTURE ON PAN-ACFs PREPARED BY DIFFERENT ACTIVATION METHODS显示文摘Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) -based activated carbon fibers (ACFs) are amorphous graphitic carbon, consisting of sp2 hexagonal carbon layers with different sizes of pores ranging from micropores to macropores. The microstructure, including graphite-like micro-crystal, surface chemistry, pore size distributions and so on, of PAN activated carbon fibers prepared by different activation methods were investigated by element analysis (EA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and infrared spectra. The XRD patterns show that PAN-ACFs activated by different methods are of amorphous diffraction characteristic but composed of very small graphitic crystallites. The surface functional groups were analyzed by XPS and FT-JR spectra. The samples activated by air possess relatively abundant oxygen functional groups, and the samples activated by potassium hydroxide possess less oxygen functional groups. 17THE α_2/γ INTERFACIAL STRUCTURE CHANGES IN A DUAL-PHASE γ-TiAl ALLOY AFTER HOT DEFORMATION AND SUBSEQUENT SHORT-TIME ANNEALING显示文摘The nonequilibrium α2/γ interfacial structures have been studied using the conventional and high-resolution transmission electron microscope. The nonequilibrium γ/γ and α2/γ interfaces are important microstructure features of hot-forged Ti-45Al-8Nb2.5Mn-0.05B alloys.
