Infection with novel coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2)causes pneumonia in Rhesus macaques显示文摘The 2019 novel coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2)outbreak is a major challenge for public health.SARS-CoV-2 infection in human has a broad clinical spectrum ranging from mild to severe cases, with a mortality rate of^6.4%worldwide(based on World Health Organization daily situation report). However, the dynamics of viral infection, replication and shedding are poorly understood. Here,we show that Rhesus macaques are susceptible to the infection by SARS-CoV-2.After intratracheal inoculation, the first peak of viral RNA was observed in oropharyngeal swabs one day post infection(1 d.p.i.),mainly from the input of the inoculation, while the second peak occurred at 5 d.p.i.,which reflected on-site replication in the respiratory tract.Histopathological observation shows that SARS-CoV-2 infection can cause interstitial pneumonia in animals, characterized by hyperemia and edema, and infiltration of monocytes and lymphocytes in alveoli. We also identified SARS-CoV-2 RNA in respiratory tract tissues, including trachea, bronchus and lung;and viruses were also re-isolated from oropharyngeal swabs, bronchus and lung, respectively.Furthermore,we demonstrated that neutralizing antibodies generated from the primary infection could protect the Rhesus macaques from a second-round challenge by SARS-CoV-2.The non-human primate model that we established here provides a valuable platform to study SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis and to evaluate candidate vaccines and therapeutics.Chao Shan Yan-Feng Yao Xing-Lou Yang Yi-Wu Zhou Ge Gao Yun Peng Lian Yang Xue Hu Jin Xiong Ren-Di Jiang Hua-Jun Zhang Xiao-Xiao Gao Cheng Peng Juan Min Ying Chen Hao-Rui Si Jia Wu Peng Zhou Yan-Yi Wang Hong-Ping Wei Wei Pang Zheng-Fei Hu Long-Bao Lv Yong-Tang Zheng Zheng-Li Shi Zhi-Ming Yuan 2020Cell Research2020,30,8:19

Malnutrition and Quality of Life in Chinese Cancer Patients: a Clinical Study of 23,994 Subjects显示文摘Background Malnutrition is common in patients with cancer, and can negatively impact their quality of life(QoL)and even survival. However, there is currently no large data available on the prevalence of malnutrition in Chinese cancer patients. This study evaluated the prevalence of malnutrition and the QoL of Chinese patients with locoregional, recurrent or metastatic cancer. Methods We conducted a nationwide observational,multi-center,hospital-based cross-sectional study within the Chinese Society of Nutritional Oncology(CSNO)Network. All of the patients were diagnosed with one of the following 18 different types of malignant tumors:lung cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, malignant lymphoma, leukemia, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, brain cancer, biliary tract malignant tumors or gastrointestinal stromal tumors. These patients were enrolled from 72 hospitals located in different regions of China. The patients’nutritional status was evaluated based on the body mass index(BMI),loss of bodyweight, laboratory measurements and patient generated-subjective global assessment(PG-SGA)scores.The cancer patients’physical status and QoL were assessed by the Karnofsky Performance Status(KPS)questionnaire and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer(EORTC)QLQ-C30 questionnaire, respectively. Results From December 2013 to April 2016,23,994 patients hospitalized for cancer treatment(such as surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy)were enrolled in the study. The patients included 12,494(52.9%)males and 11,124(47.1%)females.The mean age was 55.8±13.7 years. The proportions of patients in cancer stagesⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳand uncertain were 11.5%,20.3%,27.5%,30.2%and 10.5%,respectively.Among the 23,994 inpatients, the proportions of patients who were underweight(BMI<18.5 kg/m2),normal(18.5 kg/m2Hong Xia Xu Chun Hua Song Zhen Ming Fu Chang Wang Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Cong Hua Xie Fu Xiang Zhou Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Ming Hua Cong Hu Ma Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo Yong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Jian Xiong Wu Min Weng Qing Hua Yao Jiu Wei Cui Wei Li Han Ping Shi the Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers(INSCOC)Group 2021Journal of Nutritional Oncology2021,6,1:8
Validity of the Chinese Version of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) in Lung Cancer Patients显示文摘The prevalence of malnutrition is high among oncology patients in China. Although the Patient- Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) is widely recognized as an important nutritional assessment tool, it has not been validated for Chinese cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to conduct an analysis of nutrition screening and assessment data to validate the Chinese version of the PG-SGA in Chinese patients with lung cancer. This was an observational, cross-sectional study of 2,000 consecutive adult patients with lung cancer treated at several tertiary hospitals in China. Anthropometric and patient descriptive data were collected. The PG-SGA generated a score for the nutritional risk and a global rating for the nutritional status. The internal consistency, external consistency, and construct validity were evaluated, and a known-groups comparison and principal component analyses were conducted to evaluate the reliability and validity of the PG-SGA. The known-groups comparison demonstrated the ability of the PG-SGA to differentiate lung cancer patients of different nutritional and body mass index (BMI) groups. A confirmatory factor analysis supported the original four-factor structure of the PG-SGA. In terms of the internal and external consistency, the PG-SGA demonstrated intra-class correlation coefficients (ICC) up to 0.987. Alternative form validity was also demonstrated between Box 4 of the PG-SGA and the Karnofsky Performance Status score, with excellent external consistency (r = 0.972, P < 0.001). The construct validity was supported, and selected questionnaire dimensions were evident in the principal component analysis. Significant Spearman correlations (P < 0.001) were demonstrated. The Chinese version of the PG-SGA demonstrated significant reliability and sufficient exploratory properties to support its validity. It seems to be a valid tool that can be used to access the nutritional status of Chinese lung cancer patients. The validity of the PG-SGA in Chinese cancer patients warrants further investigation in other cancer types.Zhen Ming Fu Hong Xia Xu Chun Hua Song Wei Li Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Cong Hua Xie Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Ming Hua Cong Hu Ma Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo Yong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Jian Xiong Wu Chang Wang Han Ping Shi The Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers (INSCOC) Group 2016Journal of Nutritional Oncology2016,1,1:7

Validity of the Chinese Version of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) in Gastric Cancer Patients显示文摘Purpose Malnutrition is severe among gastric cancer patients in China. While the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) is a widely used nutritional assessment tool, the validation for Chinese patients with gastric cancer has not been performed yet. The aim of this research is to validate the Chinese version of the PGSGA in Chinese gastric cancer patients by conducting analyses of nutrition screening and assessment data. Methods Two thousand consecutive adult patients with gastric cancer were included in this observational, cross-sectional study in several tertiary hospitals in China. A survey was made among those patients, which included several questionnaires and some anthropometric parameters. We calculated the parameters to validate the use of PG-SGA categorizing the nutritional status of gastric cancer patients. Then we performed statistical analysis to evaluate the internal consistency, external consistency, and construct validity. Results This study verified the ability of the PG-SGA to differentiate gastric cancer patients into different nutritional groups. The confirmatory factor analysis verified the original four-factor structure of the PG-SGA. The internal and external consistency was measured by a concordance analysis which showed an intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) of 0.987. The correlations of the Box 4 score with the Karnofsky performance status score demonstrated alternative form validity with good external consistency (Pearson, r = 0.643, P < 0.001). All three anthropometric dimensions of the PG-SGA were supported by principal component analysis. Spearman correlations (P < 0.001) were significant in the majority of tests. Conclusion The Chinese version of the PG-SGA is a valid tool to access the patients’ nutritional status for Chinese gastric patients.Zhen Ming Fu Hong Xia Xu Chun Hua Song Wei Li Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Cong Hua Xie Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Ming Hua Cong Hu Ma Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo Yong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Jian Xiong Wu Chang Wang Han Ping Shi The Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers (INSCOC) Group 2018Journal of Nutritional Oncology2018,3,4:5
Photonic cavity enhanced high-performance surface plasmon resonance biosensor显示文摘Herein we propose a novel strategy to enhance surface plasmon resonance(SPR)by introducing a photonic cavity into a total-internal-reflection architecture. The photonic cavity, which is comprised of a highly reflective photonic crystal(PC),defect layers, and a gold(Au)film, enables Fabry–Perot(FP)resonances in the defect layers and therefore narrows the SPR resonance width in the metallic surface as well as increases the electric field intensity and penetration depth in the evanescent region. The fabricated sensor exhibits a 5.7-fold increase in the figure of merit and a higher linear coefficient as compared with the conventional Au-SPR sensor. The demonstrated PC/FP cavity/metal structure presents a new design philosophy for SPR performance enhancement.GUI-SHI LIU XIN XIONG SHIQI HU WEICHENG SHI YAOFEI CHEN WENGUO ZHU HUADAN ZHENG JIANHUI YU NUR HIDAYAH AZEMAN YUNHAN LUO ZHE CHEN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,4:4
Genetic and Molecular Characterization of H9N2 Avian Influenza Viruses Isolated from Live Poultry Markets in Hubei Province, Central China, 2013–2017显示文摘H9N2 subtype avian influenza virus(AIV)is an influenza A virus that is widely spread throughout Asia, where it jeopardizes the poultry industry and provides genetic material for emerging human pathogens. To better understand the epidemicity and genetics of H9 subtype AIVs,we conducted active surveillance in live poultry markets(LPMs)in Hubei Province from 2013 to 2017.A total of 4798 samples were collected from apparent healthy poultry and environment.Realtime RT-PCR revealed that the positivity rate of influenza A was 26.6%(1275/4798),of which the H9 subtype accounted for 50.3%(641/1275)of the positive samples.Of the 132 H9N2 viral strains isolated,48 representative strains were subjected to evolutionary analysis and genotyping.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that all H9N2 viral genes had 91.1%–100%nucleotide homology, clustered with genotype 57,and had high homology with human H9N2 viruses isolated from2013 to 2017 in China.Using a nucleotide divergence cutoff of 95%,we identified ten distinct H9N2 genotypes that continued to change over time.Molecular analysis demonstrated that six H9N2 isolates had additional potential glycosylation sites at position 218 in the hemagglutinin protein, and all isolates had I155 T and Q226 L mutations.Moreover,44 strains had A558 V mutations in the PB2 protein and four had E627 V mutations, along with H9N2 human infection strains A/Beijing/1/2016 and A/Beijing/1/2017.These results emphasize that the H9N2 influenza virus in Hubei continues to mutate and undergo mammalian adaptation changes, indicating the necessity of strengthening the surveillance of the AIV H9N2 subtype in LPMs.Zhibin Hu Fuhu Peng Zhenghui Xiong Wanpo Zhang Tingting Li Yuejun Shi Jun Xie Xin Jin Jingjing Huang Hongde Xiao Dingren Bi Nianhua Song Zili Li 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,2:4
Extension Protocol for the Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Patients with Common Cancers in China(INSCOC)Study:2021 update显示文摘Background Malnutrition is common in patients with cancer, and this adversely affects the survival and quality of life of patients.Chinese Society for Nutritional Oncology issued a multi-center,large-scale,long-term follow-up prospective study, the Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Patients with Common Cancers in China(INSCOC study)since 2013.This is an extension to the previous 2013-2020 study protocol. This study still sought to:①address the prognostic impact of nutritional factors and quality of life on cancer patient survival;②describe the overall and cancer-specific incidence and/or distribution of malnutrition and different measurements of patient quality of life. Methods and study design This is an observational,multi-centered,hospital-based prospective cohort study.Data collection will be performed at baseline(within 48 hours after patient admission),during the hospital stay and 30 days after hospital admission.Follow-up will be conducted for 1-20 years after enrollment. The primary outcome will be the all-cause mortality/overall survival, and secondary outcomes will be the length of hospital stay and costs of hospitalization.Study factors will include demographic characteristics, tumor characteristics, information about chronic diseases, hematological measurements(e.g.,red blood cell count, total lymphocyte counts,hemoglobin,albumin,prealbumin,creatinine,C-reactive protein,IL-6),anthropometric measurements(e.g.,height,weight,arm circumference, arm muscle circumference, triceps skinfold thickness, and waist circumference),body composition parameters,PG-SGA scores, quality of life(as indicated by the QLQ-C30 questionnaire),muscle mass(as indicated by the calf circumference),muscle strength(as indicated by the handgrip strength),muscle function(as indicated by the six-meter walking speed test)and physical status assessments(as indicated by the Karnofsky Performance Status scores). This clinical study protocol was approved by local Ethics Committees of all the participating hospitals.Written informed consent is required for each subject included.Discussion This multi-center,large-scale,long-term follow up prospective study will help improve the diagnosis of malnutrition in cancer patients and identify the risk factors associated with adverse clinical outcomes. The anticipated results of this study will highlight the need for a truly scientific appraisal of nutrition therapy in Chinese oncology populations, and finally help treat the potentially reversible elements of malnutrition in cancer patients to improve their clinical outcomes in the future.Hong Xia Xu Chun Hua Song Liang Yu Yin Chang Wang Zhen Ming Fu Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Cong Hua Xie Fu Xiang Zhou Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Zhi Kang Chen Ming Hua Cong Hu Ma Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo Yong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Xiang Hua Wu Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Jian Xiong Wu Min Weng Qing Hua Yao Ya Yin Yu Quan Jun Lyu Hong Qiu Ming Liu Wei Li Han Ping Shi The Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers(INSCOC)Group 2022Journal of Nutritional Oncology2022,7,2:3
Durable endothelium-mimicking coating for surface bioengineering cardiovascular stents显示文摘Mimicking the nitric oxide(NO)-release and glycocalyx functions of native vascular endothelium on cardiovascular stent surfaces has been demonstrated to reduce in-stent restenosis(ISR)effectively. However, the practical performance of such an endothelium-mimicking surfaces is strictly limited by the durability of both NO release and bioactivity of the glycocalyx component.Herein,we present a mussel-inspired amine-bearing adhesive coating able to firmly tether the NO-generating species(e.g.,Cu-DOTA coordination complex)and glycocalyx-like component(e.g.,heparin)to create a durable endothelium-mimicking surface. The stent surface was firstly coated with polydopamine(pDA),followed by a surface chemical cross-link with polyamine(pAM)to form a durable pAMDA coating.Using a stepwise grafting strategy,Cu-DOTA and heparin were covalently grafted on the pAMDA-coated stent based on carbodiimide chemistry.Owing to both the high chemical stability of the pAMDA coating and covalent immobilization manner of the molecules, this proposed strategy could provide 62.4%bioactivity retention ratio of heparin, meanwhile persistently generate NO at physiological level from 5.9±0.3 to 4.8±0.4×10^(-10) mol cm^(-2) min^(-1) in 1 month. As a result, the functionalized vascular stent showed long-term endothelium-mimicking physiological effects on inhibition of thrombosis, inflammation, and intimal hyperplasia, enhanced re-endothelialization,and hence efficiently reduced ISR.Qing Ma Xiuying Shi Xing Tan Rui Wang Kaiqin Xiong Manfred F.Maitz Yuanyuan Cui Zhangmei Hu Qiufen Tu Nan Huang Li Shen Zhilu Yang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,12:3
Identification and characterization of Mini1, a gene regulating rice shoot development显示文摘The aerial parts of higher plants are generated from the shoot apical meristem(SAM). In this study, we isolated a small rice(Oryza sativa L.) mutant that showed premature termination of shoot development and was named mini rice 1(mini1). The mutant was first isolated from a japonica cultivar Zhonghua11(ZH11) subjected to ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS)treatment. With bulked segregant analysis(BSA) and map-based cloning method, Mini1 gene was finally fine-mapped to an interval of 48.6 kb on chromosome 9. Sequence analyses revealed a single base substitution from G to A was found in the region, which resulted in an amino acid change from Gly to Asp.The candidate gene Os09g0363900 was predicted to encode a putative adhesion of calyx edges protein ACE(putative HOTHEAD precursor) and genetic complementation experiment confirmed the identity of Mini1. Os09g0363900 contains glucose-methanol-choline(GMC) oxidoreductase and NAD(P)-binding Rossmann-like domain, and exhibits high similarity to Arabidopsis HOTHEAD(HTH). Expression analysis indicated Mini1 was highly expressed in young shoots but lowly in roots and the expression level of most genes involved in auxin biosynthesis and signal transduction were reduced in mutant. We conclude that Mini1 plays an important role in maintaining SAM activity and promoting shoot development in rice.Yunxia Fang Jiang Hu Jie Xu Haiping Yu Zhenyuan Shi Guosheng Xiong Li Zhu Dali Zeng Guangheng Zhang Zhenyu Gao Guojun Dong Meixian Yan Longbiao Guo Yonghong Wang Qian Qian 2015Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2015,57,2:3
Robotic-vs laparoscopic-assisted proctectomy for locally advanced rectal cancer based on propensity score matching: Short-term outcomes at a colorectal center in China显示文摘BACKGROUND Reports in the field of robotic surgery for rectal cancer are increasing year by year. However, most of these studies enroll patients at a relatively early stage and have small sample sizes. In fact, studies only on patients with locally advanced rectal cancer(LARC)and with relatively large sample sizes are lacking.AIM To investigate whether the short-term outcomes differed between robotic-assisted proctectomy(RAP)and laparoscopic-assisted proctectomy(LAP)for LARC.METHODS The clinicopathological data of patients with LARC who underwent robotic-or laparoscopic-assisted radical surgery between January 2015 and October 2019 were collected retrospectively. To reduce patient selection bias,we used the clinical baseline characteristics of the two groups of patients as covariates for propensity-score matching(PSM)analysis.Short-term outcomes were compared between the two groups.RESULTS The clinical features were well matched in the PSM cohort.Compared with the LAP group, the RAP group had less intraoperative blood loss, lower volume of pelvic cavity drainage, less time to remove the pelvic drainage tube and urinary catheter, longer distal resection margin and lower rates of conversion(P<0.05).However,the time to recover bowel function, the harvested lymph nodes, the postoperative length of hospital stay, and the rate of unplanned readmission within 30 days postoperatively showed no difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The rates of total complications and all individual complications were similar between the RAP and LAP groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION This retrospective study indicated that RAP is a safe and feasible method for LARC with better short-term outcomes than LAP,but we have to admit that the clinically significant of part of indicators are relatively small in the practical situation.Shan-Ping Ye Wei-Quan Zhu Dong-Ning Liu Xiong Lei Qun-Guang Jiang Hui-Min Hu Bo Tang Peng-Hui He Geng-Mei Gao He-Chun Tang Jun Shi Tai-Yuan Li 2020World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2020,12,4:3

Adjuvant chemoradiotherapy vs adjuvant chemotherapy in locally advanced Siewert type Ⅱ/Ⅲ adenocarcinoma of gastroesophageal junction after D2/R0 resection显示文摘BACKGROUND For Siewert type Ⅱ/Ⅲ adenocarcinoma of gastroesophageal junction(AGE), the efficacy of adjuvant chemoradiotherapy(CRT) after D2/R0 resection remains uncertain.AIM To determine whether CRT was superior to chemotherapy(CT) alone after D2/R0 resection for locally advanced Siewert type Ⅱ/Ⅲ AGE.METHODS We identified 316 locally advanced Siewert type Ⅱ/Ⅲ AGE patients who were treated with D2/R0 resection at National Cancer Center from 2011 to 2018.57 patients received adjuvant CRT and 259 patients received adjuvant CT.We followed patients for overall survival(OS), relapse-free survival, and recurrence pattern.RESULTS Five-year OS rates of the CRT group and the CT group for all patients were 66.7% and 41.9%(P = 0.010).Five-year OS rates of the CRT group and the CT group for Siewert type Ⅲ AGE patients were 65.7% and 43.9%(P = 0.006).Among the 195 patients whose recurrence information could be obtained, 18 cases(34.6%) and 61 cases(42.7%) were diagnosed as recurrence in the CRT group and CT group, respectively. The local and regional recurrence rates in the CRT group were lower than that in the CT group(22.2% vs 24.6%, 27.8% vs 39.3%).Multivariable cox regression analysis showed that vascular invasion, nerve invasion, and adjuvant CRT were important prognostic factors for Siewert type Ⅲ AGE.CONCLUSION For locally advanced Siewert type Ⅲ AGE, adjuvant CRT may prolong OS and reduce the regional recurrence rate.Wen-Zhe Kang Jin-Ming Shi Bing-Zhi Wang Jian-Ping Xiong Xin-Xin Shao Hai-Tao Hu Jing Jin Yan-Tao Tian 2022World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2022,14,8:2
Case study on stratospheric and mesospheric concentric gravity waves generated by deep convection显示文摘Concentric gravity waves(CGWs)in the middle and upper atmosphere show wave-coupling processes between the lower atmosphere and the middle and upper atmosphere. In this research,we analyzed a case of CGWs detected simultaneously by the AIRS(Atmospheric Infrared Sounder)and the VIIRS/DNB(Day/Night Band of the Visible Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite)in the stratosphere and mesosphere. Results showed that gravity waves(GWs)were generated by the collocated Hurricane Bejisa on the island of Mauritius. The AIRS data showed arc-like phase fronts of GWs with horizontal wavelengths of 190 and 150 km at 21:08 coordinated universal time(UTC)on 1 January 2014 and at 10:00 UTC on 2 January 2014,whereas the DNB observed arced GWs with horizontal wavelengths of 60 and 150 km in the same geographic regions at 22:24 UTC.The characteristics of CGW parameters in the stratosphere(~40 km)and the mesosphere(~87 km),such as the vertical wavelength, intrinsic frequency, and intrinsic horizontal phase speed, were first derived together with the background winds from ERA5 reanalysis data and Horizontal Wind Model data through the dispersion relationship of GWs and the wind-filtering theory.GuoChun Shi Xiong Hu ZhiGang Yao WenJie Guo MingChen Sun XiaoYan Gong 2021Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,1:2
Facilitated transport separation of CO_(2) and H_(2)S by supported liquid membrane based on task-specific protic ionic liquids显示文摘Selective separation of CO_(2) and H_(2)S from CH_(4) is of importance to the natural gas upgrading because of its cor-rosivity. As is well known, amine group can recognize reversibly CO_(2) and H_(2)S with a moderate interaction. Withthis in mind, this work prepared a series of amine-functionalized supported-protic-ionic-liquid membranes(SPILMs) for the selective separation of CO_(2) and H_(2)S from CH_(4) . For comparison, aprotic ionic liquid membranewas also prepared for natural gas sweetening. The effect of temperature and transmembrane pressure differenceon the permeability of single gas and ideal selectivity of CO_(2)/CH_(4) and H_(2)S/CO_(2) were studied. Facilitated transportmechanism was studied by NMR spectra. The permeability of CO_(2) in primary amine functionalized [DMPDAH][Tf_(2)N]-based membrane decreases with the increasing transmembrane pressure, indicating a typical feature offacilitated transport membrane. The permeability of CO_(2) and the ideal selective of CO_(2)/CH_(4) are as high as 2000 barrers and 53.2 at 313.2 K in [DMPDAH][Tf_(2)N] membrane, significantly higher than those in conventional ILsmembrane. It is anticipated that these amine-functionalized SPILMs can provide alternative insight for the se-lective separation of CO_(2) and H_(2)S from CH_(4) .Lingling Peng Mingzhen Shi Xiaomin Zhang Wenjie Xiong Xingbang Hu Zhuoheng Tu Youting Wu 2022Green Chemical Engineering2022,3,3:2
Effects of fi lleting methods on composition, gelling properties and aroma profi le of grass carp surimi显示文摘Traditionally,fi sh carcass is headed and gutted to prepare a skin-on fi llet in surimi production. In this study, tail and/or belly of grass carp carcass were further cut off in the fi lleting step.Yield, composition, gelling properties and aroma profile of surimi as affected by filleting methods were investigated by SDS-PAGE,ELISA,SEM,magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and electron nose.Cutting tail off increased surimi yield by 14.0%,whereas cutting belly off decreased it by 11.2%.Cutting tail or belly off signifi cantly decreased fat content, but did not change protein content, ash content, cathepsin(B,H and L)contents, nor protein patterns. Both breaking force and whiteness of surimi gel signifi cantly increased after cutting tail off.Cutting belly off slightly increased whiteness of surimi gel.The microstructure of all the surimi gels was compact and uniform, with fractal dimensions(Df)ranging from 2.81 to 2.85.As for the macrostructure, cutting tail off apparently improved the integrity of surimi gel while cutting belly off did not.Aroma profi les of the surimi prepared under different fi lleting methods could be clearly distinguished by linear discriminant analysis(LDA).Our results indicate that cutting tail off contribute positively to surimi production.Liu Shi Tao Yin Qilin Huang Juan You Yang Hu Dan Jia Shanbai Xiong 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,3:2
