1Low-temperature sintered(Na_(1/2)Bi_(1/2))TiO_(3)-based incipient piezoceramics for co-fired multilayer actuator application显示文摘Low-temperature sintered(Na_(1/2)Bi_(1/2))_(0.935)Ba_(0.065)Ti_(0.975)(Fe_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))_(0.025)O_(3)(NBT-BT-0.025FN)lead-free incipient piezoceramics were investigated using high-purity Li_(2)CO_(3) as sintering aids.With the ≤0.5 wt%Li_(2)CO_(3) addition,the introduced Li^(+) cations precede to enter the A-sites of the perovskite lattice to compensate for the A-site deficiencies.Once the addition exceeds 0.5 wt%,the excess Lit cations will occupy B-sites and give rise to the generation of oxygen vacancies,which accelerate the mass transport and thus lower the sintering temperature effectively from 1100℃ down to 925℃.It was also found that a small amount of Lit addition has little effect on the phase structure and electromechanical properties of the system,but overweight seriously disturbs these characteristics because of the large lattice distortion.The sintered NBT-BT-0.025FN incipient piezoceramics with 1.25 wt%Li_(2)CO_(3) addition at 925℃ provides a large strain of 0.33% and a corresponding large signal piezoelectric coefficient d_(33)^(*) of 550 pm/V at 60 kV/cm,indicating this system is a very promising candidate for lead-free co-fired multilayer actuator application.Pengyuan Fan Yangyang Zhang Shan-Tao Zhang Bing Xie Yiwei Zhu Mohsin Ali Marwat Weigang Ma Kai Liu Liang Shu Haibo Zhang 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,3:3
2Experimental Study on Oxy-Fuel Combustion and NO Emission in a Spouted-Fluidized Bed with under Bed Feeding显示文摘The spouted-fluidized bed is modified from the classical fluidized bed device,which combines the features of spouted and fluidized beds.In the present work,the performance of oxy-fuel spouted-fluidized bed combustion with under bed feeding and its effect on NO emission were systematically investigated.The results revealed that it was feasible to use a spouted-fluidized bed combustor for oxy-fuel combustion with real flue gas recycling.The transition from air combustion to oxy-fuel combustion was smooth and the concentration of CO_(2) in the flue gas could be as high as 90%steadily(dry base).Increasing the reaction temperature exhibited a negative effect on NO emission.Compared with that under the shallow bed,the concentration of NO in the flue gas was lower under the deep bed condition.Besides,the utilization of crush particles was favorable for suppressing NO emission because of the promoted mixing between coal particles and solid bed materials.Furthermore,the addition of limestone was proven to undesirably increase the NO emission during oxy-fuel spouted-fluidized bed combustion.XU Mingxin WU Yachang WU Haibo OUYANG Haodong ZHENG Shu LU Qiang 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,4:2
3Photonic engineering of superbroadband near-infrared emission in nanoglass composites containing hybrid metal and dielectric nanocrystals显示文摘Photonic media containing hybrid noble metal-dielectric nanocrystals(NCs)represent a wonderland of nanophotonics,with a myriad of uncharted optical functions yet to be explored.Capitalizing on the unique phase separation and spontaneous formation of Au-metal NCs in a gallosilicate glass,we fabricated Ni^2+-doped transparent nanoglass composites(GCs)containing Au-metal/γ-Ga2O3-dielectric NCs.Compared with GCs free of Au-metal NCs,the super broadband near-infrared emission of Ni^2+with a full width at half-maximum over280 nm is enhanced twice in the Au-metal/γ-Ga2O3 dual-phase GCs.A comparison is given as to the spontaneous emission(SPE)properties of Ni^2+in the dual-phase GCs when pumped resonantly and off-resonantly with the localized surface plasmon resonance band of the Au-metal NCs.The important role of the Au-metal NCs in the SPE enhancement is revealed by theoretical simulation based on the finite-element method.Combining the photonic engineering effect of hybrid Au-metal/γ-Ga2O3 NCs and the sensitization effect of Yb^3+on Ni^2+,a record-high enhancement factor of over 10 of the Ni^2+NIR emission is achieved,and optical gain is demonstrated in the GCs at the fiber communication wavelength.ZHIGANG GAO HAIBO ZHU BOCHAO SUN YINGKE JI XIAOSONG LU HAO TIAN JING REN SHU GUO JIANZHONG ZHANG JUN YANG XIANGENG MENG KATSUHISA TANAKA 2020Photonics Research2020,8,5:2

7The fate of antibiotic resistance genes in the coastal lagoon with multiple functional zones显示文摘Coastal lagoons provide many important services to human society,but their year-round use for aquaculture introduces large amounts of sewage.The contamination of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)is therefore of great concern.In this study,50 ARGs subtypes,two integrase genes(intl1,intl2),and 16S rRNA genes were detected by high-throughput quantitative PCR,and standard curves of all target genes were prepared for quantification.The occurrence and distribution of ARGs in a typical coastal lagoon(XinCun lagoon,China)were comprehensively explored.We detected 44 and 38 subtypes of ARGs in the water and sediment,respectively,and discuss the various factors influencing the fate of ARGs in the coastal lagoon.Macrolides-lincosamides-streptogramins B was the primary ARG type,and macB was the predominant subtype.Antibiotic efflux and antibiotic inactivation were the main ARG resistance mechanisms.The XinCun lagoon was divided into eight functional zones.The ARGs showed a distinct spatial distribution owing to the influence of microbial biomass and anthropogenic activity in different functional zones.Fishing rafts,abandoned fish ponds,the town sewage zone,and mangrove wetlands provided a large quantity of ARGs to the XinCun lagoon.Nutrients and heavy metals also significantly correlated with the fate of the ARGs,especially NO_(2)^(−)-N and Cu,which cannot be ignored.It is noteworthy that lagoon-barrier systems coupled with persistent pollutant inputs result in coastal lagoons acting as a“buffer pool”for ARGs,which can then accumulate and threaten the offshore environment.Shisheng Li Hui Gao Haibo Zhang Guangke Wei Qin Shu Ruijing Li Shuaichen Jin Guangshui Na Yali Shi 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,6:0
8High-throughput screening of phase-engineered atomically thin transition-metal dichalcogenides for van der Waals contacts at the Schottky–Mott limit显示文摘A main challenge for the development of two-dimensional devices based on atomically thin transition-metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)is the realization of metal–semiconductor junctions(MSJs)with low contact resistance and high charge transport capability.However,traditional metal–TMD junctions usually suffer from strong Fermi-level pinning(FLP)and chemical disorder at the interfaces,resulting in weak device performance and high energy consump-tion.By means of high-throughput first-principles calculations,we report an attractive solution via the formation of van der Waals(vdW)contacts between metallic and semiconducting TMDs.We apply a phase-engineering strategy to create a monolayer TMD database for achieving a wide range of work func-tions and band gaps,hence offering a large degree of freedom to construct TMD vdW MSJs with desired contact types.The Schottky barrier heights and contact types of 728 MSJs have been identified and they exhibit weak FLP(-0.62 to-0.90)as compared with the traditional metal–TMD junctions.We find that the interfacial interactions of the MSJs bring a delicate competition between the FLP strength and carrier tunneling efficiency,which can be uti-lized to screen high-performance MSJs.Based on a set of screening criteria,four potential TMD vdW MSJs(e.g.,NiTe_(2)/ZrSe_(2),NiTe_(2)/PdSe_(2),HfTe_(2)/PdTe_(2),TaSe_(2)/MoTe_(2))with Ohmic contact,weak FLP,and high carrier tunneling probability have been predicted.This work not only provides a fundamental understanding of contact properties of TMD vdW MSJs but also renders their huge potential for electronics and optoelectronics.Yanyan Li Liqin Su Yanan Lu Qingyuan Luo Pei Liang Haibo Shu Xiaoshuang Chen 2023InfoMat2023,5,7:0
9Clinical significance of serum IgM and IgG levels in COVID-19 patients in Hubei Province,China显示文摘Background:There have been many studies about coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),but the clinical signifi-cance of quantitative serum severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)-specific IgM and IgG levels of COVID-19 patients have not been exhaustively analyzed.We aimed to investigate the time profiles of these IgM/IgG levels in COVID-19 patients and their correlations with clinical features.Methods:A multicenter clinical study was conducted from February 20 to March 52020.It involved 179 COVID-19 patients(108 males and 71 females)from five hospitals in Huangshi in Hubei Province,China.To detect SARS-CoV-2-specific IgM/IgG,quantitative antibody assays(two-step indirect immunoassays with direct chemilu-minescence technology)based on the nucleocapsid protein(NP)and spike protein 1(S1)were used.For normally distributed data,means were compared using the t-test,��2-test,or exact probability method.For categorical data,medians were compared using Mann-Whitney U test.Results:The median age was 57(44-69)years(58[38-69]for males and 57[49-68]for females).The median duration of positive nucleic acid test was 22.32(17.34-27.43)days.The mortality rate was relatively low(3/179,1.68%).Serum SARS-CoV-2-specific IgG was detected around week 1 after illness onset,gradually increased until peaking in weeks 4 and 5,and then declined.Serum IgM peaked in weeks 2 and 3,then gradually declined and returned to its normal range by week 7 in all patients.Notably,children had milder respiratory symptoms with lower SARS-CoV-2-specific IgM/IgG levels.The duration of positive nucleic acid test in the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)group was 30.36(18.99-34.76)days,which was significantly longer than that in the non-COPD group(21.52[16.75-26.51]days;P=0.025).The peak serum SARS-CoV-2-specific IgG was sig-nificantly positively correlated with the duration of positive nucleic acid test.The incidence rate of severe and critical cases in the IgM hi group(using the median IgM level of 29.95 AU/mL as the cutofffor grouping)was about 38.0%(19/50),which was twice as much as that in the IgM lo group(18.4%;9/49).The patients with positive chest imaging and lymphocytopenia(<1×10^(9)/L)had a higher SARS-CoV-2-specific IgM level.Conclusions: Quantitative SARS-CoV-2-specific IgM and IgG levels are helpful for the diagnosis, severity classifi- cation, and management of COVID-19 patients, and they should be monitored in each stage of this disease.Zhenjiang Bai Qing Li Qinghui Chen Changming Niu Yu Wei Hanpeng Huang Wei Zhao Nian Chen Xin Yao Qiang Zhang Chuanyong Mu Jian Feng Chuanlong Zhu Zhuo Li Ming Ding Binhui Feng Chaochao Jin Xiang Lu Yi Yang Shuiyan Wu Xiaochen Shu Haibo Qiu YingZi Huang 2022Journal of Intensive Medicine2022,2,1:0
10Forecast of Observing Time Delay of Strongly Lensed Quasars with the Muztagh-Ata 1.93m Telescope显示文摘As a completely independent method,the measurement of time delay of strongly lensed quasars(TDSL)are crucial to resolve the Hubble tension.Extensive monitoring is required but so far limited to a small sample of strongly lensed quasars.Together with several partner institutes,Beijing Normal University is constructing a 1.93 m reflector telescope at the Muztagh-Ata site in west China,which has the world class observing conditions with median seeing of 082 and median sky brightness of 21.74 mag arcsec-2 in V-band during the dark time.The telescope will be equipped with both a three-channel imager/photometer which covers 3500–11,000?wavelength band,and a low-medium resolution(λ/δλ=500/2000/7500)spectrograph.In this paper,we investigate the capability of the Muztagh-Ata 1.93 m telescope in measuring time delays of strongly lensed quasars.We generate mock strongly lensed quasar systems and light curves with microlensing effects based on five known strongly lensed quasars,i.e.,RX J1131-1231,HE 0435-1223,PG 1115+080,WFI 2033-4723 and SDSS 1206+4332.In particular,RX J1131-1231 is generated based on the lens modeling results of Suyu et al.Due to the lack of enough information,the other four systems are calculated by a simple analytical approximation.According to simulations,for RX J1131-like systems(wide variation in time delay between images)the TDSL measurement can be achieved with the precision aboutΔt=0.5 day with four seasons campaign length and 1 day cadence.This accuracy is comparable to the up-coming TDCOSMO project.And it would be better when the campaign length keeps longer and with high cadence.As a result,the capability of the Muztagh-Ata 1.93 m telescope allows it to join the network of TDSL observatories.It will enrich the database for strongly lensed quasar observations and make more precise measurements of time delays,especially considering the unique coordinate of the site.Shanhao Zhu Yiping Shu Haibo Yuan Jian-Ning Fu Jian Gao Jianghua Wu Xiangtao He Kai Liao Guoliang Li Xinzhong Er Bin Hu 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,3:0

12Reversible doping polarity and ultrahigh carrier density in two-dimensional van der Waals ferroelectric heterostructures显示文摘Van der Waals semiconductor heterostructures(VSHs)composed of two or more two-dimensional(2D)materials with different band gaps exhibit huge potential for exploiting high-performance multifunctional devices.The application of 2D VSHs in atomically thin devices highly depends on the control of their carrier type and density.Herein,on the basis of comprehensive first-principles calculations,we report a new strategy to manipulate the doping polarity and carrier density in a class of 2D VSHs consisting of atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)andα-In_(2)X_(3)(X=S,Se)ferroelectrics via switchable polarization field.Our calculated results indicate that the band bending of In_(2)X_(3)layer driven by the FE polarization can be utilized for engineering the band alignment and doping polarity of TMD/In_(2)X_(3)VSHs,which enables us to control their carrier density and type of the VSHs by the orientation and magnitude of local FE polarization field.Inspired by these findings,we demonstrate that doping-free p–n junctions achieved in MoTe2/In2Se3 VSHs exhibit high carrier density(1013–1014 cm–2),and the inversion of the VHSs from n–p junctions to p–i–n junctions has been realized by the polarization switching from upward to downward states.This work provides a nonvolatile and nondestructive doping strategy for obtaining programmable p–n van der Waals(vdW)junctions and opens the possibilities for self-powered and multifunctional device applications.Yanyan Li Mingjun Yang Yanan Lu Dan Cao Xiaoshuang Chen Haibo Shu 2023Frontiers of physics2023,18,3:0
