1Genomic surveillance of coxsackievirus A10 reveals genetic features and recent appearance of genogroup D in Shanghai,China,2016–2020显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CVA10)is one of the major causative agents of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD).To investigate the epidemiological characteristics as well as genetic features of CVA10 currently circulating in Shanghai,China,we collected a total of 9,952 sporadic HFMD cases from January 2016 to December 2020.In the past five years,CVA10 was the fourth prevalent causatives associated with HFMD in Shanghai and the overall positive rate was 2.78%.The annual distribution experienced significant fluctuations over the past five years.In addition to entire VP1 sequencing,complete genome sequencing and recombination analysis of CVA10 isolates in Shanghai were further performed.A total of 64 near complete genomes and 11 entire VP1 sequences in this study combined with reference sequences publicly available were integrated into phylogenetic analysis.The CVA10sequences in this study mainly belonged to genogroup C and presented 91%-100%nucleotide identity with other Chinese isolates based on VP1 region.For the first time,our study reported the appearance of CVA10 genogroup D in Chinese mainland,which had led to large-scale outbreaks in Europe previously.The recombination analysis showed the recombination break point located between 5,100 nt and 6,700 nt,which suggesting intertypic recombination with CVA16 genogroup D.To conclusion,CVA10 genogroup C was the predominant genogroup in Shanghai during 2016-2020.CVA10 recombinant genogroup D was firstly reported in circulating in Chinese mainland.Continuous surveillance is needed to better understand the evolution relationships and transmission pathways of CVA10 to help to guide disease control and prevention.Jiayu Wang Jiajing Liu Fanghao Fang Jiajin Wu Tianjiao Ji Yuying Yang Ling Liu Chongshan Li Wanju Zhang Xi Zhang Zheng Teng 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,2:5
2PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling orchestrates the phenotypic transition and chemo-resistance of small cell lung cancer显示文摘Small cell lung cancer(SCLC)is a phenotypically heterogeneous disease with an extremely poor prognosis,which is mainly attributed to the rapid development of resistance to chemotherapy.However,the relation between the growth phenotypes and chemo-resistance of SCLC remains largely unclear.Through comprehensive bioinformatic analyses,we found that the heterogeneity of SCLC phenotype was significantly associated with different sensitivity to chemotherapy.Adherent or semiadherent SCLC cells were enriched with activation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway and were highly chemoresistant.Mechanistically,activation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway promotes the phenotypic transition from suspension to adhesion growth pattern and confers SCLC cells with chemo-resistance.Such chemo-resistance could be largely overcome by combining chemotherapy with PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway inhibitors.Our findings support that the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway plays an important role in SCLC phenotype transition and chemo-resistance,which holds important clinical implications for improving SCLC treatment.Xuefeng Li Cheng Li Chenchen Guo Qiqi Zhao Jiayu Cao Hsin-Yi Huang Meiting Yue Yun Xue Yujuan Jin Liang Hu Hongbin Ji 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,7:5
3The clock gene,period,influences migratory flight and reproduction of the oriental armyworm,Mythimna separata(Walker)显示文摘The oriental armyworm,Mythimna separata,is a major long-distance migratory insect pest of grain crops in China and other Asian countries.Migratory flights and reproductive behavior usually occur at night,regulated by a circadian rhythm.However,knowledge about the linkages between adult flight,reproduction,and clock genes is still incomplete.To fill this important gap in our knowledge,a clock gene(designated Msper)was identified and phylogenetic analysis indicated that the encoded protein(MsPER)was highly similar to PER proteins from other insect species.Quantitative RT-PCR assays demonstrated that significantly different spatiotemporal and circadian rhythmic accumulations of mRNA encoding MsPER occurred during development under steady 14 h:10 h light:dark conditions.The highest mRNA accumulation occurred in adult antennae and the lowest in larvae.Msper was expressed rhythmically in adult antennae,relatively less in photophase and more entering scotophase.Injecting small interference RNA(siRNA)into adult heads effectively knocked down Msper mRNA levels within 72 h.Most siRNA-injected adults reduced their evening flight activity significantly and did not exhibit a normal evening peak of flight activity.They also failed to mate and lay eggs within 72 h.Adult mating behavior was restored to control levels by 72 h post injection.We infer that Msper is a prominent clock gene that acts in regulating adult migratory flight and mating behaviors of M.separata.Because of its influence on migration and mating,Msper may be a valuable gene to target for effective management of this migratory insect.Jiayue Ji Yueqiu Liu Lei Zhang Yunxia Cheng David Stanley Xingfu Jiang 2023Insect Science2023,30,3:1
4Polydopamine-mediated synthesis of Si@carbon@graphene aerogels for enhanced lithium storage with long cycle life显示文摘The application of Si as the anode materials for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) is still severely hindered by the rapid capacity decay due to the structural damage caused by large volume change(> 300%) during cycling. Herein, a three-dimensional(3 D) aerogel anode of Si@carbon@graphene(SCG) is rationally constructed via a polydopamine-assisted strategy. Polydopamine is coated on Si nanoparticles to serve as an interface linker to initiate the assembly of Si and graphene oxide, which plays a crucial role in the successful fabrication of SCG aerogels. After annealing the polydopamine is converted into N-doped carbon(N-carbon) coatings to protect Si materials. The dual protection from N-carbon and graphene aerogels synergistically improves the structural stability and electronic conductivity of Si, thereby leading to the significantly improved lithium storage properties. Electrochemical tests show that the SCG with optimized graphene content delivers a high capacity(712 m Ah/g at 100 m A/g) and robust cycling stability(402 m Ah/g at 1 A/g after 1500 cycles). Furthermore, the full cell using SCG aerogels as anode exhibits a reversible capacity of 187.6 m Ah/g after 80 cycles at 0.1 A/g. 5放牧和刈割对内蒙古典型草原植物养分的不同影响显示文摘放牧和刈割管理是天然草原的两种主要利用方式。放牧和刈割分别通过粪尿归还和养分移除的形式影响草原生态系统养分循环。植物养分对草原生态系统养分循环具有敏感的响应。然而,放牧和刈割管理在植物器官水平、种群和群落水平对植物养分具有怎样的影响,目前还缺乏准确的认知。我们在内蒙古半干旱草原地区通过野外控制实验探究持续放牧和轮牧以及低频率刈割和高频率刈割对草原生态系统的影响,并对不同处理下植物群落特征进行调查以及群落优势物种碳、氮和磷浓度进行测定。结果表明,(i)在持续放牧和轮牧下随放牧强度的增加,群落高度和地上现存量显著降低;每年一次刈割处理显著降低群落高度和地上现存量;(ii)在两种放牧制度下随放牧强度的增加,植物地上部分碳浓度显著降低,而氮、磷浓度则显著提高;不同刈割制度对植物地上部分碳、氮、磷浓度无显著影响;(iii)在两种放牧制度下随放牧强度的增加,植物群落碳、氮、磷库显著降低;不同刈割制度对植物群落碳、氮、磷库无显著影响;(iv)两种放牧下随放牧强度的增加,植物根系碳、氮、磷浓度无显著变化;两种刈割制度下植物根系碳、氮、磷浓度无显著变化,表明植物根系养分对外界干扰具有相对较高的稳定性和滞后性。本研究从多角度阐明了放牧和刈割管理对草原生态系统养分循环的影响。Jiayue Liu Lu Li Lei Ji Yanlong Li Jiaojiao Liu Frank Yonghong Li 2023Journal of Plant Ecology2023,16,1:0

9Effect of Ultra-low Temperature on Carbonation Performance of SFRRC and Prediction Model显示文摘Through the rapid carbonation test of SFRRC with different fiber volume fractions at ultralow temperature,the influence of ultra-low temperature damage on the carbonation resistance of SFRRC was analyzed,which provides a theoretical basis for the application of SFRRC in ultra-low temperature engineering.The experimental results show that ultra-low temperatures can significantly weaken the carbonization resistance of SFRRC.When the temperature reaches 160℃,the carbonization depth increases by 67.66%compared with the normal state.The proper amount of steel fiber has an evident influence on the carbonation resistance of the material.However,when the addition amount exceeds the optimum content,the carbonation resistance of the material decreases.The grey prediction model established by constructing the original sequence can reasonably predict the carbonation resistance of SFRRC after ultra-low temperatures.钱维民 苏骏 ZHAO Jiayu JI Wei 2023Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2023,38,4:0
10Synthesis and Antioxidant Activity of(E)ω-Formylcamphene-Based Thiazole Hydrazone Derivatives显示文摘(E)ω-formylcamphene was synthesized fromα-pinene,the main component of turpentine,and then reacted with thiosemicarbazide to obtain(E)ω-formylcamphene thiosemicarbazide 3,which was reacted with 14α-bromoace-tophenone compounds to obtain 14(E)ω-formylcamphene thiazole hydrazone compounds 5a–5n;the yields were all above 80%.The structures of the target compounds were characterized by IR,^(1)H-NMR,^(13)C-NMR,and HR-MS analyses.Then,500,250,125,62.5,and 31.25 mg/L drug solutions were prepared.Free radical scavenging experi-ments of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)and 2,2-bis(3-ethyl-benzothiazole-6-sulfonic acid)diammonium salt(ABTS)were carried out with Trolox and L-ascorbic acid as the control samples.The scavenging rates of 14 compounds for DPPH and ABTS free radicals were obtained;the IC_(50) values of scavenging free radicals were fitted using SPSS software.The results show that 14(E)ω-formylcamphene-based thiazole hydrazone compounds exhibited good scavenging effects on the two free radicals,especially when the concentration of the drug solution was 125 and 62.5 mg/L;most compounds exceeded the scavenging efficiency of Trolox and L-ascorbic acid.Jiayu Chang Qingying Ding Chong Zhong Yao Long Zhuanquan Xiao Hai Luo Yuling Yang Zongde Wang Shengliang Liao Jinzhu Chen Shangxing Chen Ji Zhang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,1:0

12Trap Characteristics and Their Temperature-dependence of Silicone Gel for Encapsulation in IGBT Power Modules显示文摘Silicone gel is a prevailing material for encapsulation in insulated gate bipolar transistor(IGBT)power modules.The space charge transport behavior in silicone gel is significant to evaluate the electrical insulation characteristics.This paper focuses on the trap characteristics and electrical properties of the silicone gel,which were rarely studied before.The experiments are performed on the surface potential decay of silicone gel after the charge injection.Then,the energy distributions of electron or hole traps are determined by a double-trap energy level model,which can be fitted by the Gaussian distribution.In addition,the mobilities of positive and negative charges are determined,which are 1.38×10^(-12) m^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1) and 1.74×10^(12) m^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1),respectively.Furthermore,considering the heat as a byproduct resulting in thermal issues,the temperature-dependence of surface potential decay characteristics are also studied in this paper.When temperature rises,the decay rate of surface potential increases,especially when the temperature is higher than 80℃.Finally,the contrastive analysis illustrates that the trap characteristics of silicone gel are between the trap characteristics in liquid-state material and solid-state material,which supports the phenomenon that silicone gel is more resistive to the sharp edges in power modules.This work can provide a useful reference for the design of encapsulation in high-voltage IGBT power modules.Jiayu Xu Xuebao Li Xiang Cui Zhibin Zhao Shenyang Mo Bing Ji 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,3:0

15Characteristics of the multiple replicon plasmid IncX1-X1 in multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli from Malayan pangolin(Manis javanica)显示文摘Potential zoonotic pathogens may be transmitted from wildlife to humans through the illegal wild meat trade,which has become a pressing issue.However,research on the antimicrobial resistance genes(ARGs)of Malayan pangolin(Manis javanica)intestinal bacteria is limited.Here,multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli M172-1(ST354)isolated from Malayan pangolin feces in 2019 was found to be resistant to 13 antibiotics.BGWAS analysis revealed 4 plas-mids,namely,pM172-1.1,pM172-1.2,pM172-1.3,and pM172-1.4,in the isolate.The pM172-1.2,pM172-1.3,and pM172-1.4 plasmids carried ARGs,namely,IncHI2-HI2A,IncX1-X1,and IncX1,respectively.pM172-1.3 and pM172-1.4 contained intact IntI1 integrons(Is26/IntI1/arr2/cmlA5/blaOXA-10/ant(3′′)-IIA/dfrA14/Is26).No-tably,pM172-1.3 resulted from the fusion of 2 pM172-1.4 copies and carried many more ARGs.In addition to pM172-1.3 from the same host,other drug-resistant bacteria(E.coli M159-1(ST48),E.coli S171-1(ST206),and Klebsiella pneumoniae S174-1(ST2354))in the same Malayan pangolin fecal samples also carried 3 plasmids with 100%gene coverage of pM172-1.4 and 99.98%identity.Therefore,ARGs in IncX1 might spread in the intestinalflora of Malayan pangolin and between species via the illegal food chain,posing a potential threat to public health and safety.Fang JI Shelan LIU Xue WANG Jianan ZHAO Jiayue ZHU Jianchun YANG Chenglin ZHANG Zhongxin JIA Ruili ZHAO Guocheng HU Jing WANG Jianhua QIN Gang LI Bin WU Chengmin WANG 2023Integrative Zoology2023,18,2:0
16Distributed Nash Equilibrium Seeking Over Random Graphs显示文摘Dear Editor,This letter is concerned with the distributed Nash equilibrium(NE)seeking in an N-player game over random graphs. We develop a distributed stochastic forward-backward(DSFB) algorithm based on local information exchange between agents. We prove that the DSFB algorithm can converge to an NE almost surely, and analyze the convergence rate of the proposed algorithm. Compared with the existing works on distributed NE seeking, the communication graph in this letter is supposed to be time-varying and stochastic, which makes the NE seeking algorithm more suitable for practical scenarios, but brings a great challenge in both the design and convergence analysis of the algorithm. 17Challenges and improvement in management of neonates born to mothers with COVID-19 in China显示文摘Objective:China was the first country suffering from the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and one of the countries with stringent mother-neonate isolation measure implemented.Now increasing evidence suggests that coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)should not be taken as an indication for formula feeding or isolation of the infant from the mother.Methods:We conducted a retrospective cohort study in 44 hospitals from 14 provinces in China to investigate the management of neonates whose mothers have confirmed or suspected COVID-19.In addition,65 members of Chinese Neonatologist Association(CNA)were invited to give their comments and suggestions on the clinical management guidelines for high-risk neonates.Results:There were 121 neonates born to 118 mothers suspected with COVID-19 including 42 mothers with SARS-CoV-2 positive results and 76 mothers with SARS-CoV-2 negative results.All neonates were born by caesarean section,isolated from their mothers immediately after birth and were formula-fed.Five neonates were positive for SARSCoV-2 at initial testing between 36 and 46 h after birth.Regarding the confusion on the clinical management guidelines,58.78%of the newborns were put into isolation,32.22%were subject to PCR tests,and 5.16%and 2.75%received breastfeeding and vaccination,respectively.Conclusion:The clinical symptoms of neonates born to mothers with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 were mild,though five neonates might have been infected in utero or during delivery.Given the favorable outcomes of neonates born to COVID-confirmed mothers,full isolation may not be warranted.Rather,separation of the mother and her newborn should be assessed on a case-by-case basis,considering local facilities and risk factors for adverse outcomes,such as prematurity and fetal distress.Jie Yang Zhuxiao Ren Lingkong Zeng Shiwen Xia Lin Wang Jiayu Miao Zhe Zhao Chuanzhong Yang Xiuyong Cheng Huayan Zhang Yuanfang Zhu Li Liu Xirong Gao Bin Yi Zhenlang Lin Wei Liu Xiaoyu Zhou Benqing Wu Ling Chen Zhankui Li Xuefeng Zhang Wei Lu Lianhong Zhang Xiao Chen Xiaoyun Zhong Falin Xu Jinhui Wu Yong Ji Jiahua Pan Yanxiang Chen Carine Ronsmans Zhichun Feng 2022Frigid Zone Medicine2022,2,2:0
