1Minimal invasive microscopic tooth preparation in esthetic restoration: a specialist consensus显示文摘By removing a part of the structure,the tooth preparation provides restorative space,bonding surface,and finish line for various restorations on abutment.Preparation technique plays critical role in achieving the optimal result of tooth preparation.With successful application of microscope in endodontics for>30 years,there is a full expectation of microscopic dentistry.However,as relatively little progress has been made in the application of microscopic dentistry in prosthodontics,the following assumptions have been proposed:Is it suitable to choose the tooth preparation technique under the naked eye in the microscopic vision?Is there a more accurate preparation technology intended for the microscope?To obtain long-term stable therapeutic effects,is it much easier to achieve maximum tooth preservation and retinal protection and maintain periodontal tissue and oral function health under microscopic vision?Whether the microscopic prosthodontics is a gimmick or a breakthrough in obtaining an ideal tooth preparation should be resolved in microscopic tooth preparation.This article attempts to illustrate the concept,core elements,and indications of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation,physiological basis of dental pulp,periodontium and functions involved in tool preparation,position ergonomics and visual basis for dentists,comparison of tooth preparation by naked eyes and a microscope,and comparison of different designs of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation techniques.Furthermore,a clinical protocol for microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation based on target restorative space guide plate has been put forward and new insights on the quantity and shape of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation has been provided.Haiyang Yu Yuwei Zhao Junying Li Tian Luo Jing Gao Hongchen Liu Weicai Liu Feng Liu Ke Zhao Fei Liu Chufan Ma Juergen MSetz Shanshan Liang Lin Fan Shanshan Gao Zhuoli Zhu Jiefei Shen Jian Wang Zhimin Zhu Xuedong Zhou 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,4:25

4Activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases in satellite glial cells of the trigeminal ganglion contributes to substance P-mediated inflammatory pain显示文摘Inflammatory orofacial pain,in which substance P (SP) plays an important role,is closely related to the cross-talk between trigeminal ganglion (TG) neurons and satellite glial cells (SGCs).SGC activation is emerging as the key mechanism underlying inflammatory pain through different signalling mechanisms,including glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) activation,phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signalling pathways,and cytokine upregulation.However,in the TG,the mechanism underlying SP-mediated orofacial pain generated by SGCs is largely unknown.In this study,we investigated whether SP is involved in inflammatory orofacial pain by upregulating interleukin (IL)-1β and tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-α from SGCs,and we explored whether MAPK signalling pathways mediate the pain process.In the present study,complete Freund’s adjuvant (CFA) was injected into the whisker pad of rats to induce an inflammatory model in vivo.SP was administered to SGC cultures in vitro to confirm the effect of SP.Facial expression analysis showed that pre-injection of L703,606 (an NK-1 receptor antagonist),U0126 (an inhibitor of MAPK/extracellular signal-regulated kinase [ERK] kinase [MEK] 1/2),and SB203580 (an inhibitor of P38) into the TG to induce targeted prevention of the activation of the NK-1 receptor and the phosphorylation of MAPKs significantly suppressed CFA-induced inflammatory allodynia.In addition,SP promoted SGC activation,which was proven by increased GFAP,p-MAPKs,IL-1β and TNF-α in SGCs under inflammatory conditions.Moreover,the increase in IL-1β and TNF-α was suppressed by L703,606,U0126 and SB203580 in vivo and in vitro.These present findings suggested that SP,released from TG neurons,activated SGCs through the ERK1/2 and P38 pathways and promoted the production of IL-1β and TNF-α from SGCs,contributing to inflammatory orofacial pain associated with peripheral sensitization.Yanyan Zhang Ning Song Fei Liu Jiu Lin Mengke Liu Chaolan Huang Daqing Liao Cheng Zhou Hang Wang Jiefei Shen 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,3:6
5Application of multimodal image fusion technology in brain tumor surgical procedure显示文摘Objective: To construct brain tumors and their surrounding anatomical structures through the method of registration, fusion and, three-dimensional(3D) reconstruction based on multimodal image data and to provide the visual information of tumor, skull,brain, and vessels for preoperative evaluation, surgical planning, and function protection.Methods: The image data of computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) were collected from fifteen patients with confirmed brain tumors.We reconstructed brain tumors and their surrounding anatomical structures using Neuro Tech software. Results: The whole 3D structures including tumor, brain surface, skull, and vessels were successfully reconstructed based on the CT and MRI images. Reconstruction image clearly shows the tumor size, location, shape, and the anatomical relationship of tumor and surrounding structures. We can hide any reconstructed images such as skull,brain tissue, blood vessles, or tumors. We also can adjust the color of reconstructed images and rotate images to observe the structures from any direction. Reconstruction of brain and skull can be semi transparent to display the deep structure; reconstruction of the structures can be axial, coronal, and sagittal cutting to show relationship among tumor and surrounding structures. The reconstructed 3D structures clearly depicted the tumor features, such as size, location, and shape, and provided visual information of the spatial relationship among its surrounding structures. Conclusions: The method of registration, fusion, and 3D reconstruction based on multimodal images to provide the visual information is feasible and practical. 8Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B and advanced fibrosis or compensated cirrhosis显示文摘Background and aims:Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)is the first-line therapy for chronic hepatitis B.This interim analysis presents the efficacy and safety data for TDF at Week 144 in patients with chronic hepatitis B and advanced fibrosis or compensated cirrhosis from China.Methods:Patients were assessed for incidence of newly diagnosed hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and disease progression,liver stiffness measurement(LSM),virological suppression(serum hepatitis B virus DNA<20 IU/mL),alanine aminotransferase normalization,hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)loss and seroconversion,histological liver fibrosis score,and safety at Week 144.Results:Overall,197 patients were enrolled.At Week 144,the incidence of newly diagnosed HCC was observed in 2.1%patients,and the incidence of disease progression was observed in 3.6%patients.The mean(standard deviation)change in LSM from baseline was5.1(5.85)kPa.Serum hepatitis B virus DNA<20 IU/mL was observed in 94.1%patients,alanine aminotransferase normalization in 33.5%patients,HBeAg loss in 35.6%patients,and HBeAg seroconversion in 14.4%patients.Among patients with stage F3 or F4 fibrosis at baseline by LSM,38.3%patients regressed to stage F0/1,and 22.0%of patients regressed to stage F2 at Week 144.Overall,67.7%patients experienced≥1 adverse events,13.8%patients experienced TDF-related adverse events,and 16.4%patients experienced serious(none were TDF-related).Conclusions:At Week 144 of TDF treatment,low incidence of HCC and disease progression were reported.Virological suppression was observed in 94.1%patients,which was associated with fibrosis regression.No new safety events were identified.Huiying Rao Jia Shang Qing Xie Jianqi Lian Pujun Gao Junping Shi Xinyue Chen Jiefei Wang Min Xu Liaoyun Zhang Yingren Zhao QingMao Maorong Wang Wei Zhao Zong Zhang Jidong Jia Hong Tang Jiming Zhang Xin Zheng Chang Liu Lai Wei 2022iLIVER2022,1,3:1

12A novel approach for flip chip inspection based on improved SDELM and vibration signals显示文摘This paper proposes a novel nondestructive diagnostic method for flip chips based on an improved semi-supervised deep extreme learning machine(ISDELM)and vibration signals.First,an ultrasonic transducer is used to generate and focus ultrasounds on the surface of the flip chip to excite it,and a laser scanning vibrometer is applied to acquire the chip’s vibration signals.Then,an extreme learning machine-autoencoder(ELM-AE)structure is adopted to extract features from the original vibration signals layer by layer.Finally,the study proposes integrating the ELM with sparsity neighboring reconstruction to diagnose defects based on unlabeled and labeled data.The ISDELM algorithm is applied to experimental vibration data of flip chips and compared with several other algorithms,such as semi-supervised ELM(SS-ELM),deep ELM,stacked autoencoder,convolutional neural network,and ordinary SDELM.The results show that the proposed method is superior to the several currently available algorithms in terms of accuracy and stability.SU Lei ZHANG SiYu JI Yong WANG Gang MING XueFei GU JieFei LI Ke PECHT Michael 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,5:1
13Roles of hydroxyl and oxygen vacancy of CeO_(2)·xH_(2)O in Pd-catalyzed ethanol electro-oxidation显示文摘In the field of noble metal-catalyzed alcohol electro-oxidation reaction(AOR),huge attention is paid on the composition,size,facet,and structure of the metals,while the support engineering should also be emphasized.CeO_(2)has been widely used as a unique support in AOR,primarily due to its abundant oxygen vacancies(O_(v)).Herein,we report CeO_(2)·xH_(2)O nanoparticles with both massive hydroxyl groups(OH)and O_(v)remarkably enhance the catalytic activity and stability of Pd toward ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR).The CO striping experiments and density functional theory(DFT)calculations suggest that OH and O_(v)on CeO_(2)·xH_(2)O surface bring about a large downshift of Pd d-band center and a significant weakening of CO absorption on Pd.Moreover,OH and O_(v)also play synergic roles in the removal of toxic intermediates.Consequently,the important roles of OH and O_(v)of CeO_(2)·xH_(2)O are confirmed in Pd-catalyzed EOR.The facile CeO_(2)·xH_(2)O-enhanced strategy can contribute to the catalyst design for other energy conversion reactions.Zhenyu Li Jiefei Li Zexuan Zheng Kunhong Jiang Tianrun Zheng Dongmin Wang Hang Wei Zhiming Shi Xiaotian Li Haibin Chu 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,5:1
