3Genetic dissection of maize seedling root system architecture traits using an ultra-high density bin-map and a recombinant inbred line population显示文摘Maize(Zea mays) root system architecture(RSA)mediates the key functions of plant anchorage and acquisition of nutrients and water. In this study,a set of 204 recombinant inbred lines(RILs) was derived from the widely adapted Chinese hybrid ZD958(Zheng58 Chang7-2),genotyped by sequencing(GBS) and evaluated as seedlings for 24 RSA related traits divided into primary,seminal and total root classes. Signi ficant differences between the means of the parental phenotypes were detected for 18 traits,and extensive transgressive segregation in the RIL population was observed for all traits. Moderate to strong relationships among the traits were discovered. A total of 62 quantitative trait loci(QTL) were identi fied that individually explained from1.6% to 11.6%(total root dry weight/total seedling shoot dry weight) of the phenotypic variation. Eighteen,24 and 20 QTL were identi fied for primary,seminal and total root classes of traits,respectively. We found hotspots of 5,3,4 and 12 QTL in maize chromosome bins 2.06,3.02-03,9.02-04,and 9.05-06,respectively,implicating the presence of root gene clusters or pleiotropic effects. 5Effects of preventive acupuncture or moxibustion at the Guanyuan acupoint on expression of interleukin-2 and its receptors in hypothalamus, serum, and uterus of menopausal rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: Previous studies have indicated preventive acupuncture and moxibustion at the Guanyuan point have positive effects on the immune system of menopausal rats. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of preventive acupuncture or moxibustion at the Guanyuan point on interleukin-2 (IL-2) and its receptor (IL-2R mRNA) levels in hypothalamus, serum, and uterus of menopausal rats. DESIGN: Randomized control animal experiment. SETTING: School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. MATERIALS: This study was performed at the Laboratory of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from November 2004 to July 2005. The vaginal smear method was used to determine the estrus cycle of 9.5-month-old Sprague Dawley (SD) female rats. Three continuous estrus cycles were measured, and 160 rats with estrus cycle disorder, weighing (300 ± 20) g, were included in this study. The rats were randomly divided into four groups: preventive acupuncture group (n =48), preventive moxibustion group (n =48), model groups (n =48), and 10-month-old group (n =16). Sixteen 3.5-month-old healthy SD female rats, weighing (240 ± 20) g, were also assigned to the young group. All rats were clean grade and were purchased from the Laboratory Animal Center, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The experiment was in accordance with animal ethics standards. METHODS: Acupuncture was applied to the preventive acupuncture group at 10 months of age. The needle was inserted upward and perpendicularly two fen to a point that was two fen below the Guanyuan point. The rats freely moved around during needle retention (20 minutes). Acupuncture was administered twice a week and continued for eight weeks. A moxa cone (small) moxibustion was applied to the preventive moxibustion group at 10 months of age. The rats were caught gently and kept at the same position as the preventive acupuncture group. The moxa cone was ignited and held to the Guanyuan point directly. Only one moxa cone was used each time. After moxibustion, the local skin turned slightly red. Moxibustion was used twice a week and continued for eight weeks. Nothing except gently catching and lying was administered to the model group and the young group. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Radioimmunoassay, in situ hybridization, and similar methods were employed to detect IL-2 in serum and the uterus, as well as IL-2R mRNA expression in the hypothalamus and uterus arcuate nuclei, of the preventive acupuncture group, preventive moxibustion group, model groups (at 12, 14, and 16 months), 10 month old group (at 10 months), and the young group (at 4 months). RESULTS: All 176 rats were included in the final analysis. ① IL-2R mRNA: IL-2R mRNA expression decreased significantly in the uterus of 12-, 14-, and 16-month-old model groups and in the hypothalamus of 14- and 16-month-old model groups (P < 0.05-0.01). Compared to the same month-aged model groups, the expression of IL-2R mRNA increased significantly in the hypothalamus and uterus of 16-month-old preventive acupuncture or moxibustion groups (P < 0.05-0.01).② IL-2: IL-2 in serum of 12- and 14-month-old model groups and in the uterus of 12-, 14-, and 16-month-old model groups decreased significantly compared to the young group (P < 0.05-0.01). IL-2 serum levels increased significantly in the 16-month-old group with preventive moxibustion; in addition, IL-2 expression levels increased significantly in the uterus of the 12-month-old group with preventive moxibustion, as well as the 12- and 16-month-old groups with preventive acupuncture (P < 0.05-0.01). CONCLUSION: As a rat ages and becomes menopausal, IL-2R mRNA expression in the hypothalamus anduterus, as well as IL-2 levels in the serum and uterus, decrease. However, preventive acupuncture and preventive moxibustion can repress the decrease to some extent. 6An efficient flood dynamic visualization approach based on 3D printing and augmented reality显示文摘Flood visualization is an effective and intuitive tool for representing flood information from abstract spatiotemporal data.With the growing demand for flood disaster visualizations and mitigation,augmented flood visualizations that support decision makers’perspectives are needed,which can be enhanced by emerging augmented reality(AR)and 3D printing technologies.This paper proposes an innovative flood AR visualization method based on a 3D-printed terrain model and investigates essential techniques,such as the suitable size calculation of the terrain models,the adaptive processing of flood data,and hybridizing virtual flood and terrain models.A prototype experimental system(PES)based on the proposed method and a comparison experimental system(CES)based on a virtual terrain are developed to conduct comparative experiments,which combine the system performance and questionnaire method to evaluate the efficiency and usability of the proposed method.The statistical results indicate that the method is useful for assisting participants in understanding the flood hazard and providing a more intuitive and realistic visual experience compared with that of the traditional AR flood visualization method.The frame rate is stable at 60 frames per second(FPS),which means that the proposed method is more efficient than the traditional AR flood visualization method.Guoyong Zhang Jianhua Gong Yi Li Jun Sun Bingli Xu Dong Zhang Jieping Zhou Ling Guo Shen Shen Bingxiao Yin 2020International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,11:4

8PTEN基因甲基化及其表达异常与胃癌的关系(英文)显示文摘Objective:To probe into the relationships between PTEN gene expression,the promoter methylation and gastric cancer and its clinical pathological specific features.Methods:We analyzed the PTEN gene promoter methylation and mRNA expression status in gastric cancer tissues and its adjacent normal tissues by methylation specific PCR(MSP) and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) techniques.Results:PTEN promoters in 48.2%(27/56) gastric cancer tissues and 3.6(2/56) adjacent normal tissues were methylated and the PTEN promoter methylation rate in carcinoma tissues was obviously higher(P < 0.05).Of the 2 cases where the adjacent gastric tissues were methylated,the gastric cancer tissues were both methylated.Of the 29 gastric cancers with lymph node metastasis,19 had their PTEN gene promoters methylated and the PTEN gene promoter methylation in cases with lymph node metastasis was obviously higher than that without lymph node metastasis(P < 0.05).RT-PCR result showed that no expression of PTEN mRNA existed in any of the methylated gastric cancer tissues.Conclusion:The expression loss of PTEN gene mRNA in gastric cancers is related to their promoter methylation and might be one of the reasons for the generation,development and metastasis of gastric cancers.Song Liu Jieping Yu Ping Fu Honggang Yu 2008The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2008,7,10:3
9Winter wheat mapping using a random forest classifier combined with multi-temporal and multi-sensor data显示文摘Wheat is a major staple food crop in China.Accurate and cost-effective wheat mapping is exceedingly critical for food production management,food security warnings,and food trade policy-making in China.To reduce confusion between wheat and non-wheat crops for accurate growth stage wheat mapping,we present a novel approach that combines a random forest(RF)classifier with multi-sensor and multi-temporal image data.This study aims to(1)determine whether an RF combined with multi-sensor and multi-temporal imagery can achieve accurate winter wheat mapping,(2)to find out whether the proposed approach can provide improved performance over the traditional classifiers,and(3)examine the feasibility of deriving reliable estimates of winter wheat-growing areas from medium-resolution remotely sensed data.Winter wheat mapping experiments were conducted in Boxing County.The experimental results suggest that the proposed method can achieve good performance,with an overall accuracy of 92.9%and a kappa coefficient(κ)of 0.858.The winter wheat acreage was estimated at 33,895.71 ha with a relative error of only 9.3%.The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach has been evaluated through comparison with other image classification methods.We conclude that the proposed approach can provide accurate delineation of winter wheat areas.Jiantao Liu Quanlong Feng Jianhua Gong Jieping Zhou Jianming Liang Yi Li 2018International Journal of Digital Earth2018,11,8:3
10Factors affecting directional migration of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells to the injured spinal cord显示文摘Microtubule-associated protein 1B plays an important role in axon guidance and neuronal migration. In the present study, we sought to discover the mechanisms underlying microtubule-associated protein 1B mediation of axon guidance and neuronal migration. We exposed bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells to okadaic acid or N-acetyl-D-erythro-sphingosine(an inhibitor and stimulator, respectively, of protein phosphatase 2A) for 24 hours. The expression of the phosphorylated form of type I microtubule-associated protein 1B in the cells was greater after exposure to okadaic acid and lower after N-acetyl-D-erythro-sphingosine. We then injected the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells through the ear vein into rabbit models of spinal cord contusion. The migration of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells towards the injured spinal cord was poorer in cells exposed to okadaic acid- and N-acetyl-D-erythro-sphingosine than in non-treated bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells. Finally, we blocked phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(ERK1/2) pathways in rabbit bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells using the inhibitors LY294002 and U0126, respectively. LY294002 resulted in an elevated expression of phosphorylated type I microtubule-associated protein 1B, whereas U0126 caused a reduction in expression. 11Extra-copy nifA enhances the nodulation efficiency of Sinorhizobium fredii显示文摘Previous investigations have shown that nifA gene is involved in nodulation and symbiotic nitrogen fixation regulation of Rhizobium. We study the role of nifA on nodulation of leguminous plants. We found that Sinorhizo-bium fredii harboring multi-copy plasmid carrying the con-stitutively expressed Klebsiella pneumoniae nifA exhibited an increase of nodulation activity and nodulation competitiveness on soybean plants. 12Music snippet extraction via melody-based repeated pattern discovery显示文摘In this paper,we present a complete set of procedures to automatically extract a music snippet,defined as the most representative or the highlighted excerpt of a music clip. We first generate a modified and compact similarity matrix based on selected features and distance metrics,and then several improved techniques for music repeated pattern discovery are utilized because a music snippet is usually a part of the repeated melody,main theme or chorus. During the process,redundant and wrongly detected patterns are discarded,boundaries are corrected using beat information,and final clusters are also further sorted according to the occurrence frequency and energy information. Subsequently,following our methods,we designed a music snippet extraction system which allows users to detect snippets. 13The influence of Chinese sentence stress on pitch and duration显示文摘The key to improve the naturalness of the synthetic speech is to build a perfect prosodic model. Thus the preliminary study of the influence of sentence stress on prosodic features in Standard Chinese is presented, in which the relationship between duration and pitch under different sentence stress levels is revealed. The results show that: (a) The pitch is the most important factor which carries the sentence stress, with the increase of the sentence stress level, the distribution of pitch moves towards high frequency area. (b) In the case of 'Stress' and 'Light', two peaks are found in the distribution of duration, which means that the duration of some words are affected by sentence stress, but of others are not. (c) The relationship between pitch and duration in 'Normal’, 'Stress' and 'Light' are un-correlated, positive correlation and negative correlation respectively. The research lays a foundation for building a perfect prosodic model for standard Chinese speech synthesis system. The results of research are also used to classify sentence stress using a neural network, and 63% identification ratio has been obtained in an open set test. 15Lightweight Body-In-White Design Driven by Optimization Technology显示文摘Structural optimization technologies are increasingly applied to lightweight automotive structural design.In a body-inwhite(BIW)development project,optimization technologies are applied in three steps that are seamlessly integrated into engineering practice.By following a design-driven approach,an innovative design that was 50.65 kg lighter than the base design was achieved.First,topology optimization was used to investigate the optimal material distribution in a given design space,and helped in extracting the main load path,while considering crashworthiness,NVH,and static stiffness performance requirements.In the second step,the effective design of a beam cross-section and feasible joints was carried out based on optimization technology and expert knowledge.In this step,the deep involvement of manufacturing process experts on stamping and joint connection feasibility analysis increased the chance of success remarkably.The sensitivity analysis,topography optimization,and gauge optimization of the created draft 3D BIW frame comprised the last step before finalizing the initial design.The new design was validated by full load case simulations,including full vehicle crashworthiness analysis,mode frequency,and body mount point dynamic stiffness analysis,and BIW stiffness and component attachment stiffness analysis.The validation results indicate that the new BIW design achieves the performance goal,while being 13.3%lighter than the base design.Heguo Ou Xiaodong Tang Jieping Xiao Yuanbo Wang Zhongmin Ma 2018Automotive Innovation2018,1,3:2
