1Terrestrial carbon sinks in China and around the world and their contribution to carbon neutrality显示文摘Enhancing the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink(referred to as terrestrial C sink) is an important way to slow down the continuous increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) concentration and to achieve carbon neutrality target.To better understand the characteristics of terrestrial C sinks and their contribution to carbon neutrality,this review summarizes major progress in terrestrial C budget researches during the past decades,clarifies spatial patterns and drivers of terrestrial C sources and sinks in China and around the world,and examines the role of terrestrial C sinks in achieving carbon neutrality target.According to recent studies,the global terrestrial C sink has been increasing from a source of (-0.2±0.9) Pg C yr^(-1)(1 Pg=1015g)in the 1960s to a sink of (1.9±1.1) Pg C yr^(-1) in the 2010s.By synthesizing the published data,we estimate terrestrial C sink of 0.20–0.25 Pg C yr^(-1) in China during the past decades,and predict it to be 0.15–0.52 Pg C yr^(-1) by 2060.The terrestrial C sinks are mainly located in the mid-and high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere,while tropical regions act as a weak C sink or source.The C balance differs much among ecosystem types:forest is the major C sink;shrubland,wetland and farmland soil act as C sinks;and whether the grassland functions as C sink or source remains unclear.Desert might be a C sink,but the magnitude and the associated mechanisms are still controversial.Elevated atmospheric CO_(2) concentration,nitrogen deposition,climate change,and land cover change are the main drivers of terrestrial C sinks,while other factors such as fires and aerosols would also affect ecosystem C balance.The driving factors of terrestrial C sink differ among regions.Elevated CO_(2) concentration and climate change are major drivers of the C sinks in North America and Europe,while afforestation and ecological restoration are additionally important forcing factors of terrestrial C sinks in China.For future studies,we recommend the necessity for intensive and long-term ecosystem C monitoring over broad geographic scale to improve terrestrial biosphere models for accurately evaluating terrestrial C budget and its dynamics under various climate change and policy scenarios.Yuanhe Yang Yue Shi Wenjuan Sun Jinfeng Chang Jianxiao Zhu Leiyi Chen Xin Wang Yanpei Guo Hongtu Zhang Lingfei Yu Shuqing Zhao Kang Xu Jiangling Zhu Haihua Shen Yuanyuan Wang Yunfeng Peng Xia Zhao Xiangping Wang Huifeng Hu Shiping Chen Mei Huang Xuefa Wen Shaopeng Wang Biao Zhu Shuli Niu Zhiyao Tang Lingli Liu Jingyun Fang 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5:32
2The Yellow Sea green tides were dominated by one species, Ulva (Enteromorpha) prolifera, from 2007 to 2011显示文摘Green tides have occurred in the Yellow Sea successively from 2007 to 2011. Genetic analysis of the 5-year green-tide-forming algae needs to be performed to determine the source of the biomass and understand the mechanism of the green tide blooms. In this study, free-floating green algae were collected at different sites in the Yellow Sea in 2010 and 2011. Data on 182 free-floating samples and 155 attached Ulva samples from previous studies on the Yellow Sea green tides from 2007 to 2009 were also taken into consideration. Morphology observation and molecular phylogenetic analyses indicated that the Yellow Sea green tides were dominated by a single species, Ulva prolifera, from 2007 to 2011. Considering that at least five Ulva species inhabit the north coast of China, the unialgal composition of the green tides implied that (1) there may be some special physiology and propagation pathways of U. prolifera for its rapid expansion, (2) the mechanisms of the Yellow Sea green tide formation were similar for the last five years, and (3) the intra-species genetic variation and population structure of U. prolifera need to be studied to determine the exact origin of the bloom-forming biomass.ZHAO Jin JIANG Peng LIU ZhengYi WEI Wei LIN HanZhi LI FuChao WANG JinFeng QIN Song 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,19:27

5Cotton-derived oxygen/sulfur co-doped hard carbon as advanced anode material for potassium-ion batteries显示文摘Hard carbon is regarded as promising anode materials for potassium-ion batteries(KIBs)owing to their low price and easy availability.However,the limited rate capability still needs to be improved.Herein,we demonstrate the fabrication of oxygen/sulfur co-doped hard carbon through a facile hydrolyzationsulfuration process of skimmed cotton.The simultaneous dopants significantly improve potassium ion diffusion rate.When served as the anode for KIBs,this hydrolyzed hard carbon delivered a high reversible capacity(409 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g),superior rate capability(135 mAh/g at 2 A/g)and excellent cyclability(about 120 mAh/g overt 500 cycles at 2 A/g).This work provides a facile strategy to prepare low-cost doped-hard carbon with superior potassium storage property.Baolin Xu Shihan Qi Fang Li Xiaoxin Peng Jinfeng Cai Jiaojiao Liang Jianmin Ma 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1:12
6Analysis of genetic variation within and among Ulva pertusa (Ulvaceae,Chlorophyta) populations using ISSR markers显示文摘Ulva pertusa is a native species to Asia along the western coast of Pacific Ocean,with new occurrence records in the eastern coast of Pacific,the northwest coast of Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea.However,little is known about its population genetic structure.In this study,twelve U.pertusa populations from 3 coastal areas of China:Qingdao,Yantai and Dalian,were applied to ISSR analysis.The selected 4 ISSR primers amplified 120 polymorphic bands totally.Nei's gene diversity (H) ranged from 0.0729 to 0.1496,and Shannon's information index (I) ranged from 0.1072 to 0.2196.Genetic diversity was greater within Qingdao populations (H=0.2069,I=0.3232).Analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA) showed the greatest variance within populations (68.57%),much less variance among populations (22.63%) and among areas (8.79%).Unweighted pair-group mean analysis (UPGMA) indicated that clustering of U.pertusa individuals mainly relates to their populations and geographic distances separating those populations.Genetic differentiation and limited gene flow among U.pertusa populations were indicated by ISSR analysis.ZHAO Jin JIANG Peng LI Nan WANG JinFeng LIU ZhengYi QIN Song 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,8:6

9Distributed Packet-Aware Routing Scheme Based on Dynamic Network Coding显示文摘In this paper, we study transmission of packets with time constraints in cooperative 5G wireless networks. As we know, the packets which are transmitted with large delay become useless and have to be dropped. In order to minimize packet dropping probability, we consider multiple transmission methods and integrate packet scheduling with adaptive network coding method selection. Firstly we introduce queue length to obtain the gain of network. Based on this, we present the dynamic coding-aware routing metric, which can increase potential coding opportunities. Moreover, we propose a distributed packet-aware transmission routing scheme based on the above routing metric, which can discover the available paths timely and efficiently. 13Low intensity near-infrared light promotes bone regeneration via circadian clock protein cryptochrome 1显示文摘Bone regeneration remains a great clinical challenge. Low intensity near-infrared(NIR) light showed strong potential to promote tissue regeneration, offering a promising strategy for bone defect regeneration. However, the effect and underlying mechanism of NIR on bone regeneration remain unclear. We demonstrated that bone regeneration in the rat skull defect model was significantly accelerated with low-intensity NIR stimulation. In vitro studies showed that NIR stimulation could promote the osteoblast differentiation in bone mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs) and MC3T3-E1 cells, which was associated with increased ubiquitination of the core circadian clock protein Cryptochrome 1(CRY1) in the nucleus. We found that the reduction of CRY1 induced by NIR light activated the bone morphogenetic protein(BMP) signaling pathways, promoting SMAD1/5/9 phosphorylation and increasing the expression levels of Runx2 and Osterix. NIR light treatment may act through sodium voltage-gated channel Scn4a, which may be a potential responder of NIR light to accelerate bone regeneration. 14Lead-bismuth-free piezoceramics (Na_(0.5)K_(0.44)Li_(0.06))Nb_(0.95)Sb_(0.05)O_3-Na_(5.6)Cu_(1.2)Sb_(10)O_(29)显示文摘Newly developed sintering aid Na5.6Cu1.2Sb10O29 (NCS) and lead-bismuth-free piezoceramics (Na0.5K0.44Li0.06) Nb0.95Sb0.05O3 (NKLNS) were prepared by the conventional solid state reaction. The effects of sintering aid NCS on the electrical properties of NKLNS were investigated. It was found that the addition of a proper amount of sintering aid NCS to NKLNS is effective not only on improving the density and the piezoelectric activity, but also on reducing the dielectric loss of NKLNS. The NKLNS doped with 0.4 mol% NCS has a piezoelectric constant d33 as high as 261pC/N and an electromechanical coupling factor k33 above 60%. 15High efficiency ternary organic solar cells enabled by compatible dual-donor strategy with planar conjugated structures显示文摘Ternary organic solar cells(OSCs) have received extensive attention for improving the power conversion efficiency(PCE) of organic photovoltaics(OPVs). In this work, a novel donor material(ECTBD) consisting of benzodithiophene(BDT) central electron donor unit was developed and synthesized. The small molecular donor has the same central unit as PM6. The addition of ECTBD into PM6:Y6 system could improve the morphology of active blend layer. In addition, ECTBD showed good morphologically compatibility when blending with PM6:Y6 host, resulting in the improvement of fill factor and current density. As a result, the ternary devices based on PM6:ECTBD:Y6 ternary system achieved a highest PCE of 16.51% with fill factor of 76.24%, which was much higher than that of the binary devices(15.7%). 16Fast response speed of mechanically exfoliated MoS2 modified by PbS in detecting NO2显示文摘MoS2,acting as a promising gas sensing material,has shown huge potential in monitoring of toxic and harmful gases at room temperature.However,MoS2-based gas sensors still suffer from poor gas sensing performance such as poor sensitivity,long response time.Constructing the hete ro structure is an effective approach to improve gas-sensing performance of MoS2.Herein,PbS@MoS2 composites synthesized by mechanical exfoliation combining with wet-chemical precipitation are used to investigate its performance in detecting NO2 at room temperature.The response value of PbS@MoS2 gas sensor against NO2 is significantly improved compared with the pure MoS2 gas sensor.At the same time,the modification with PbS also accelerates the response speed of MoS2,and the response time is almost reduced by two orders of magnitude,from hundreds of seconds to less than ten seconds.The enhanced response value and fast response time are mainly benefited from the modulation effect of NO2 to PbS@MoS2 heterostructure and the mechanically exfoliated MoS2 surface with few defects.This work can be expected to provide useful guidance for designing composite materials with excellent gas sensing properties.Junjiang Tan Jinyong Hu Jianxu Ren Jinfeng Peng Can Liu Yiqiao Song Yong Zhang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8:2
17Dose-dependent effects of apple pectin on alleviating high fat-induced obesity modulated by gut microbiota and SCFAs显示文摘Recently,pectin has been used as an alternative for commercial prebiotic products to modulate gut microbiota.In this study,the standard diet(Chow group)and high fat diet containing 0%(HF group),1%,3%,5%,8% or 12%(m/m)apple pectin(HF-P group)were offered ad libitum for 8 weeks to 4-week C57BL/6J mice(n=10/group).Results showed that body weight gain(R^(2)=–0.990),subcutaneous adipose accumulation(R^(2)=–0.930),serum triglyceride elevation(R_(2)=–0.879),acetate(R^(2)=0.955)and propionate concentration reduction(R2=0.985)were suppressed by pectin from 1% to 12%,indicating dose response to pectin consumption.Moreover,abundance of obesity-related bacteria Coriobacteriaceae,and pectin-degradating bacteria,Faecalibaculum,Ruminococcus were significantly increased with pectin dosage increased,and the R^(2) were 0.936,0.963 and 0.937,respectively.Besides,attenuations for colonic injury and liver steatosis were observed after adding 5% and 8% pectin,respectively.This study confirmed the dose-sensitive manner of pectin to alleviate HF-induced obesity by modulating gut microbiota and enhancing short-chain fatty acids production.Yuanyuan Zhao Jinfeng Bi Jianyong Yi Jian Peng Qiancheng Ma 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,1:1
