| 1 | Ameliorating effects of traditional Chinese medicine preparation, Chinese materia medica and active compounds on ischemia/reperfusion-induced cerebral microcirculatory disturbances and neuron damage显示文摘Ischemic stroke and ischemia/reperfusion(I/R) injury induced by thrombolytic therapy are conditions with high mortality and serious long-term physical and cognitive disabilities. They have a major impact on global public health. These disorders are associated with multiple insults to the cerebral microcirculation, including reactive oxygen species(ROS) overproduction, leukocyte adhesion and infiltration, brain blood barrier(BBB) disruption, and capillary hypoperfusion, ultimately resulting in tissue edema, hemorrhage, brain injury and delayed neuron damage. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been used in China, Korea, Japan and other Asian countries for treatment of a wide range of diseases.In China, the usage of compound TCM preparation to treat cerebrovascular diseases dates back to the Han Dynasty. Even thousands of years earlier, the medical formulary recorded many classical prescriptions for treating cerebral I/R-related diseases. | 2 | Designing N-doped graphene/ReSe_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene heterostructure frameworks as promising anodes for high-rate potassium-ion batteries显示文摘Developing high-performance anodes for potassium ion batteries(KIBs) is of paramount significance but remains challenging.In the normal sense,electrode materials are prepared by ubiquitous wet chemical routes,which otherwise might not be versatile enough to create desired heterostructures and/or form clean interfacial areas for fast transport of K-ions and electrons.Along this line,rate capability/cycling stability of resulting KIBs are greatly handicapped.Herein we present an all-chemical vapor deposition approach to harness the direct synthesis of nitrogen-doped graphene(NG)/rhenium diselenide(ReSe_2)hybrids over three-dimensional MXene supports as superior heterostructure anode material for KIBs.In such an innovative design,1 T'-ReSe2 nanoparticles are sandwiched in between the NG coatings and MXene frameworks via strong interfacial interactions,thereby affording facile K~+ diffusion,enhancing overall conductivity,boosting high-power performance and reinforcing structural stability of electrodes.Thus-constructed anode delivers an excellent rate performance of 138 mAh g^(-1) at 10.0 A g^(-1) and a high reversible capacity of 90 mAh g^(-1) at 5 A g^(-1) after 300 cycles.Furthermore,the potassium storage mechanism has been systematically probed by advanced in situlex situ characterization techniques in combination with first principles computations. | Zhou Xia Xiwen Chen Haina Cia Zhaodi Fan Yuyang Yi Wanjian Yin Nan Wei Jingsheng Cai Yanfeng Zhang Jingyu Sun | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,2: | 9 |
| 3 | Effects of sediment physical properties on the phosphorus release in aquatic environment显示文摘Particle size, porosity, and the initial phosphorus concentration in sediments are the main factors affecting phosphorus release flux through the sediment-water interface. Sediments can be physically divided to muddy and sandy matters, and the adsorption-desorption capacity of sediment with phosphorus depends on particle size. According to phosphorus adsorption-desorption experiments, phosphorus sorption capacity of the sediment decreases with the increase of particle dimension. But among the size-similar particles, sediment with a bigger particle size has the larger initial phosphorus release rate. In terms of muddy and sandy sediments, there are inversely proportional relationships between the release rate and the flux. Due to the contact of surface sediment and the overlying water, the release flux from the sediment is either from direct desorption of surface sediment layer or from the diffusion of pore water in the sediment layer, which is mainly determined by sediment particle size and porosity. Generally, static phosphorus release process may include two stages: the first is the initial release. As for coarse particles, phosphorus is desorbed from surface sediment. And for fine particles, phosphorus concentration in water often decreases, mainly from pore water by the molecular diffusion. During the second stage, pore water flows faster in coarse sediment, and phosphorus is easy to desorb from the surface of the particles as diffusion dominates. | 4 | Carbon isotope reversal of desorbed gas in Longmaxi shale of Jiaoshiba area,Sicuhan Basin显示文摘Through analysis of components and carbon isotope compositions of gas desorbed from shale cores,the carbon isotope reversal phenomenon in the shale gas from the Silurian Longmaxi Formation of Jiaoshiba area in Sichuan Basin were well studied.Results showed that compared with the wellhead gas,the desorbed gas from Longmaxi shale had significantly more wet components and more heavy carbon isotope values;carbon isotope values of each component became heavier with the desorption time,δ^(13)C_(1)values of different samples had maximum positive variations of 12.3-23.9‰,butδ^(13)C_(2)values only had maximum positive variations of 0.8e2.3‰,indicating carbon isotope values of methane changed more obviously than that of heavy hydrocarbon.The above results were consistent with previous results of shale core desorption experiments carried out by other researchers.Shale gas in strata might have no carbon isotope reversal,and the phenomenon thatδ^(13)C_(1)values changed more significantly thanδ^(13)C_(2)values during the core desorption was not caused by diffusion rate differences among different components,but mainly due to different desorption stages of methane and ethane,i.e.,the ethane was in its early desorption stage while the methane was in its later desorption stage;during the production process,phase differences among different components of alkane gas and differences in the desorption stages induced by adsorption,could be the major cause for total reversal of carbon isotopes of shale gas in Longmaxi Formation,but it also could not excluded that mixture of kerogen cracking gas and crude oil cracking gas probably had a partial or more major contribution to the carbon isotope reversal. | Hua Qin Xiaojun Fan Ming Liu Jingyu Hao Bo Liang | 2017 | Petroleum Research2017,2,2: | 7 |
| 5 | The effects of air temperature and precipitation on the net primary productivity in China during the early 21st century显示文摘Research on how terrestrial ecosystems respond to climate change can reveal the complex interactions between vegetation and climate,net primary productivity (NPP),an important vegetation parameter and ecological indicator,fluctuates within any given ecological environment or regional carbon budget.In this study, spatial interpolation was used to generate a spatial dataset, with 1-km spatial resolution,with meteorological data from 736 observation stations across China.An improved CASA model was used to simulate NPP over the period of 2001-2013 by taking into account land-cover change in every year during the same period.We propose the grid- based spatial patterns and dynamics of annual NPP,annual average temperature,and annual total precipitation based on the model.We also used the model to demonstrate the spatial correlation between NPP,temperature,and pre- cipitation in the study area with special focus on the impact of climate change in the early 21st century.Results showed that the spatial pattern of NPP over all of China is characterized by higher values in the southeast and lower values in the northwest.The spatial pattern of temperature indicates substantial latitudinal differences across the country,and the spatial pattem of precipitation shows a ribbon of decline from the southeast coast to the northwest inland.Most areas show an upward trend in NPP. | 6 | Effect of preparation methods on the structure and catalytic performance of Fe–Zn/K catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation to light olefins显示文摘Potassium promoted iron–zinc catalysts prepared by co-precipitation method(C–Fe–Zn/K),solvothermal method(S–Fe–Zn/K)and hydrothermal method(H–Fe–Zn/K)could selectively convert CO_2to light olefins,respectively.The physicochemical properties of the obtained catalysts were determined by SEM,N_2physisorption,XRD,H_2-TPR,CO_2-TPD and XPS measurements.The results demonstrated that preparation methods had great influences on the morphology,phase structures,reduction and adsorption behavior,and hence the catalytic performance of the catalysts.The samples prepared by hydrothermal and co-precipitation method generated small uniform particles and led to lower specific surface area.In contrast,microspheres with larger specific surface area were formed by self-assembly of nanosheets using solvothermal method.ZnFe_2O_4was the only detectable phase in the fresh C–2Fe–1Zn/K,S–3Fe–1Zn/K and S–2Fe–1Zn/K samples.ZnFe_2O_4and ZnO co-existed with increasing Zncontent in S–1Fe–1Zn/K sample,while ZnO and Fe_2O_3could be observed over H–2Fe–1Zn/K sample.All the used samples contained Fe_3O_4,ZnO and Fe_5C_2.The peak intensity of ZnO was strong in the AR-H–2Fe–1Zn/K sample while it was the lowest in the AR-C–2Fe–1Zn/K sample after reaction.The formation of ZnFe_2O_4increased the interaction between iron and zinc for C–2Fe–1Zn/K and S–Fe–Zn/K samples,causing easier reduction of Fe_2O_3to Fe_3O_4.The surface basicity of the sample prepared by co-precipitation method was much more than that of the other two methods.During CO_2hydrogenation,all the catalysts showed good activity and olefin selectivity.The CO selectivity was increased with increasing Zncontent over S–Fe–Zn/K samples.H–2Fe–1Zn/K catalyst preferred to the production of C_5^+hydrocarbons.CO_2conversion of 54.76%and C_2~=–C_4~=contents of 57.38%were obtained on C–2Fe–1Zn/K sample,respectively. | Xu Wang Jianli Zhang Jingyu Chen Qingxiang Ma Subing Fan Tiansheng Zhao | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,4: | 6 |
| 7 | Exosomes Released from Rabies Virus-Infected Cells May be Involved in the Infection Process显示文摘Exosomes are cell-derived vesicles that are secreted by many eukaryotic cells. It has recently attracted attention as vehicles of intercellular communication. Virus-infected cells release exosomes, which contain viral proteins, RNA, and pathogenic molecules. However, the role of exosomes in virus infection process remains unclear and needs to be further investigated.In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effects of exosomes on rabies virus infection. OptiPrep^(TM) density gradient centrifugation was used to isolate exosomes from rabies virus-infected cell culture supernatants. A rabies virus G protein enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and acetylcholinesterase activity assays were performed to verify the centrifugation fractions. Exosomes were then characterized using transmission electron microscopy and Western blotting. Our results showed that rabies virus infection increased the release of exosomes. Treatment with GW4869 and si-Rab27 a, two exosomal secretion inhibitors, inhibited exosome release. Furthermore, the inhibitors reduced the levels of extracellular and intracellular viral RNA. These data indicated that exosomes may participate in the viral infection process. | 8 | Preparation of SiC Porous Ceramics by Crystalline Silicon Cutting Waste显示文摘SiC porous ceramics were prepared at 1 400 ℃ for4 h with crystalline silicon cutting waste and activated carbon as main starting materials and NH_4HCO_3 as the pore-forming agent. Effects of NH_4HCO_3 additions( 0,20%,30%,40%,by mass) on the phase composition,microstructure,sintering properties,cold compressive strength and thermal shock resistance of as-prepared Si C porous ceramics were investigated. The results show that:( 1) addition of NH_4HCO_3 remarkably influences the apparent porosity and cold compressive strength of specimens. The apparent porosity achieves its maximum value( 63. 40%) when 40% NH_4HCO_3 is added,while the minimum cold compressive strength is 4. 77 MPa;( 2) the specimen with 40% NH_4HCO_3 has the best thermal shock resistance. In tomato,Le-ACS6,a member of the ACC synthase multigene family involved in system 1 ethylene biosynthesis during fruit ripening,is subject to negative feedback regulation by ethylene. To identify the cis-elements that are responsible for the negative feedback control,we established an in vitro transient assay system employing particle bombardment on mature-green tomato fruit pericarp to examine the expression of a luciferase(LUC) reporter gene driven by a 5′-serially deleted Le-ACS6 promoter. The results localized putative cis-elements required for negative ethylene-response between -347 and -266 upstream from the translational start site ATG. Several lines of stable transformation of the Le-ACS6 promoter and GUS reporter fusion gene containing internal deletion from -347 to -266 were generated.
